The short: I give this place 5 stars for perfect customer service and delicious smoked meats. The long: I went in not sure what I wanted. I was having guest over and didn't have time to cook so I wanted to treat them to local BBQ. I explained this to the gentleman taking orders (turns out he was the owners brother) and he notified me of a family meal that I didn't see on the menu. The family meal is 2 half chickens and two large sides. Perfect, I added a lb of rib tips, two extra sides, and corn bread and it was perfect for my little gathering, The food was decent. The rib tips and smoked chicken had a good smoked flavor but not much season beyond that. But the house BBQ sauce was so good to dip the meats into, I like that the sauce is served on the side. Personally, I prefer well seasoned smoke meats. This was not that but the meat and sauce together was a delicious combo. Even my toddler son who likes to eat but is particular with meats ate it up and asked for more. My guest also enjoyed the meal too. Our sides were Mac and cheese, green beans, potato salad, and honey cornbread. I loved the cornbread and green beans. The green beans tasted fresh and were very well seasoned and cooked down in a rich broth. The cornbread was crumby but it had such a good sweet and corny flavor. read more

Regarding my recent visit, the experience could have been better. My sister and I placed separate orders, but the man working the drive‑through on June 20th required us to place one order at a time. He took my sister's order first, went inside to process her payment, then returned to take mine. The process was confusing and unnecessarily slow. More importantly, I was very surprised that a business that has been operating this long does not use a modern payment system such as Square, CardX, Stax, or any other secure third‑party processor. Having an employee take a customer's card inside and out of sight for an extended period is not considered a safe or acceptable practice today. Additionally, with the current pricing of the combo meals, it is disappointing that a drink is not included. As for the food, the brisket had good flavor, but it wasn't as tender as what I've had at Jim & Nick's. My sister ordered the rib tips and said they were mostly fat. Because she requested the sauce on the ribs instead of on the side, she didn't realize how little meat there was until we were already down the road. The sweet potatoes taste like just plain old sweet potatoes, with what appeared to be nutmeg sprinkled on them. Let me tell you... 10 outta 10 we will be back again. I've never had turkey ribs, matter of fact I didn't even know that turkeys had a ribcage but here we are. The general consensus is that turkeys is dry, I can tell you this establishment disproves that notion. The ribs were extremely tender and flavorful The sides are immaculate, a lot of BBQ places focus on the meats only but here the love is shared among dishes. The Mac wasn't just cheese and noodles, you get the hints of seasoning in there. The yams aren't just brown sugar, you taste the nutmeg and cinnamon notes. And that damn honey butter cornbread was warm and fluffy I'll wrap it up with the service, Mr. Harvey is one of the kindest souls in the food industry, the man knows customer service. He greeted us with a smile and let us take our time ordering, told us this would be our new home away from home and dammit he was right! I had my meal delivered to me from Uber Eats. I was down the street at the shop waiting for my car to finish. The wait was like 20 mins, which wasn't bad. By the time the driver hot to me, my food was still fresh and hot. I've been meaning to go back, but keep forgetting. I ordered the rib tips, mac n cheese and Hawaiian baked beans. EVERYTHING WAS THE BOMB.COM My next visit will be in person and I can not wait. I am in GA for Fathers Day but were headed a bit more north. On our road trip, we saw ATL Fusion after missing our exit and decided to stop in. This "southern hospitality" was absolutely amazing. Keyrah, King, and L.C. made it so easy and we were in and out. I got Brisket, and my husband got ribtips. Everything 10/10!!! Customer service as well. I wanted yams and mac & cheese but they were sold out (goes to show how good it is), but they made good suggestions for substitutes. They kept us informed and got us on our way back on to the road. Okay here is my update on the food. Finally had a chance to taste something there. We called ahead to make sure they had brisket and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes but when we got there they said another hour maybe. This place needs to run more efficiently as a business. The Food needs to be cooked and ready to serve customers. They are going to miss out on a lot of business due to this problem. We ended up getting Turkey ribs with green beans. Mac and cheese and a side of potato salad. I did enjoy it and will be back but if they aren't prepared I will just take my money somewhere else. read more

Ok so I live in the area and had been wanting to try this place. Well, it's a solid 3 stars. The food was extremely flavorless, basic and bland. Definitely nothing to write home about or make a second visit. I had the leg quarter which is absolutely HUGE! I've never in my life seen a leg quarter that big. The meal comes with 2 sides, I chose Mac and cheese and green beans. The Mac was flavorless and gummy. The green beans just ok. I had the Jamaican Jerk barbecue sauce and it was quite spicy but good. However, my concern is that the chicken was clearly from yesterday and had been refrigerated. Once I peeled the thick layer of barbecued skin back, the actual chicken had zero flavor. I had to dip it in the sauce but it was still just bland. They really need to season their meat before cooking. The peach cobbler was cold and unimpressive. The staff was very nice and the service was friendly, fast and efficient. But overall, this is a one and done type of place for me. I can't see myself craving anything I bought from here today ever again. And at 20 bucks a plate it just wasn't worth it. Don't recommend. read more

I really wanted to give at least 4 stars. After driving by for quite sometime, I decided to give it a try even though it was within an hour of closing. Friday, February 28, 2020. 8:05 pm. Parking lot is fairly small. No painted lines--people just park how they see fit. I didn't have to wait too long to place my order. The wait came after placing your order. Not much space to sit. Next time I'll try to call ahead. Most of the items on menu are a la carte. There is a board with daily specials. I opted to order the ribs with two sides $17.99 before tax. Added the honey corn bread $0.50. Spent just under $20. My sides were carribbean baked beans and candied yams. Both were delicious. I am a fan of the baked beans. Now the ribs were half & half for me. The first 2 bones were tender, then the next 2 I could barely chew and then another that was tender. I didn't ask for a specific sauce nor was I asked. But i was pleased with whatever was on there. Now my problem is that the beans and yams were slightly warm. The ribs were COLD. I know i waited at least a good 20 minutes..baffled why the ribs weren't even luke warm? I was excited to try the honey cornbread. It looked good. But was disappointed. It was like 2-day old jiffy cornbread, hard and crispy with honey slathered on it. No bueno. Ok so the meal was to come with 2 slices bread. There was 1 slice and I swear it tasted like it fell into some banana pudding. What?!? Ok. Just minor items left...no receipt was given and asked about it the young lady said when I entered phone number one was sent. Welp, nope no receipt. No attempt to even print a receipt. However, did get enrolled into a reward program. Which goes to your phone. Liked that part! Thank goodness I'm good with math and my total was on point. I got the pork rib combo with yams and Mac n Cheese. The ribs were a bit cold and don't seem as if they were seasoned much. So I added some additional seasoning and placed it in the microwave. The Mac n Cheese and Yams however were very hot so I'm not sure why the ribs were so cold. Oh and they put bbq sauce on the ribs and add a mustard based sauce on top of the ribs. I don't like mustard with a passion so I would just make sure I ask to leave that out next time. I think it's a unique mixture for people who do like mustard tho. Bbq sauce was pretty good. Not sure which one I got the lady didn't ask which I preferred when I ordered. read more

The food here is very good. It's one of the few places where you can get good BBQ and sides. I've eaten almost all of their sides and none of them disappoint. I want to try their brisket because I've been told that it is very good. I always get rib tips with green beans, Mac and cheese and yams. I consider their prices to be reasonable for the size plate you get as well. I can share with my mom and daughter and it's more than enough meat for all of us. read more

I have passed this place so many times and never tried it. Since buying a house in the neighborhood I decided I wanted to give back to the community that I live in . Looked this place up and saw that they had a smoker in the back and decided I had to try. They have a lunch special that is 5.00 and man do you get a lot of food . I added a extra side for 2.00 because I really wanted to try the smoked Mac & Cheese. I went through the drive through and the service was fast and the food was so good . I ate this during my lunch break and immediately needed a nap. The food is delicious and hearty and they give you plenty I was able to eat it for 2 days. I've been following ATL Fusion BBQ on Instagram for a while now and finally had the opportunity to come last night. They have a drive-thru and it was wrapped around the corner- which isn't saying a lot because the building is relatively small. We waited probably a maximum of 10 minutes before a young lady by the name of Ellen came to take our order. She was a huge help! Since it was our first time, we had a lot of questions and wanted to know what was the best way to try everything that we wanted. She was new and had no issue with going back and forth to ask questions to her more tenured co-workers. We arrived around 10 PM or so. They were out of brisket , so we wound up ordering the 8 piece chicken combo with Mac and cheese, candied yams, and added on a side of potato salad. We also ordered the 4 piece ribs a la carte. Well, let me tell you that 8 piece very quickly turned into a 6 piece. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful! The ribs were delicious and tender! The sides were delicious as well! Most BBQ places drop the ball when it comes to sides, so we were pleasantly surprised at the consistency of taste and flavor. Long story short, it's 2 PM and we're back in the drive through line waiting on brisket, ribs, mac, and yams (there's a couple pieces of chicken left). read more

Oh Heck YES!!! I was surfing around on Yelp tonight and ran across my fav Yelp photographer Kristen T. and saw where he went to Atl Fusion BBQ. So, tonight my boo and I made it our business to go there. This place is was good! Its right past the East/West Connector in Marietta. but right on the other side of Austell. I managed to get a few shots in between my excitement. The service was good and my food was very tasty. I ordered the Smoke House Turkey Ribs Combo, which came with two sides. I went for the Macaroni and cheese and the Caribbean BBQ Mango Baked Beans. BOY! BOY! BOY! Those Beans was the highlight of my plate. They were seasoned to perfection! That combo was $13.50. My boo ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese($7.99) He liked it but didn't love it. I will most definitely being going back and try something different from the menu. Oh yeah, before I go, LOL. The décor on the inside is truly genuine. They have markers that you can use to sign your name anywhere on the wall and you know YOUR GIRL found her a spot! Clean, organized and cozy outdoor dining area. Now on to the food. I had the chicken leg quarter, mac and green beans. Very satisfying portion of chicken but it was undercooked as the skin was extremely rubbery. Quality smoked chicken has to have bite through skin. The mac was edible but the green beans definitely tasted like they came straight out of a can with no flavor profile whatsoever. They were the only thing I didn't eat. Went here for #BLACKOUTTUESDAY (7/7/20). Chef was not there (was what we were informed). Tbh, food just wasn't good. I felt like I wasted $30 (for my personal order, my friends were w/ me as well). I was so excited for my meal man! It was just a real disappointment as far as food/taste/flavor is concerned. Okay so here's a breakdown: *Turkey Ribs - First time having them. They were pretty good. I would get them again *Salmon - Was a cheap piece of salmon. Gamey, definitely not fresh. *Mac & Cheese - Umm... it was okay. Didn't spit it out, but definitely not special, & sho nuff not special enough for a Southern BBQ spot! *Candied Yams - Yams is one of my favorite foods. I know how a yam should taste like I know I-85! & this was a Yam, w/ no candy nearby! Just some sprinkles of cinnamon & dabble of butter that didn't get a chance to marinate or "candy" the actual yam. *Green beans - Just no. Couldn't get past the first bite. Almost tasted spoiled. Way too much vinegar or something & no turkey meat. *Jack Daniels BBQ sauce - Had to grab that, cause I love the sauce from TGI Friday's... but don't get it here. Like please don't. My chest was burning like I took a shot of Tito's w/ a hint of smoke. Naw. Just don't get it. Save your quarter. The service was pretty good, main reason for the three stars. The gentleman who took our order was patient & informative. The gentleman behind the counter made sure our order was packed neatly & was correct. His demeanor was friendly as well. I've ordered from ATL Fusion BBQ several times. It is always my go to for good BBQ. I have always been impressed and satisfied with everything I've ordered. They have great quality food with bursting flavor in every dish. Even their lemonade taste like it was hand picked from a tree in Sorrento, Italy - refreshing and sweet! I truly enjoy the ribs but paired with the smoked Mac and mango beans - it's delightful! The corn bread is moist unlike others I have tried. Lastly, I was pleasantly surprised by the banana pudding. A little advice to ATL Fusion: add some lime/lemon juice on the banana to prevent browning, otherwise it's phenomenal! The touch of henny is a unique addition.
