    Salmon and sea bass
    Steven D.

The place is pricey and didn't seem nearly as busy as Bistro Niko. The only reason I'm here is because of the $30 Summer Dine Around coupon. The bread service was good. It was better than Bistro Niko. I'm comparing it to Bistro Niko because was that was the restaurant for last month's dining passport coupon card. The card worked. It got me out of the house and into this area. Ceviche: Tasty for the first few bites but a little too sweet for me at the end. I wanted the bowl to be bigger because I kept dropping the goodies. The scallops were soft, but the shrimp almost felt too overcooked in acid. I was hoping for some fish bits too. You are able to have your fish fried, broiled, or "Hong Kong" style (steamed with soy sauce, ginger, and scallions) and each fish entree comes with a side of potatoes or vegetables. I had salmon and sea bass Hong Kong style. The Chiliean Sea Bass was amazing. The salmon was good but not special. It came with a side of rice, and I tossed most of it into the sauce. It was filling. The wife got crusted swordfish with grits and green beans. The swordfish is meaty. I think this may be our first time trying swordfish and I can say it's ok. I think I always avoided swordfish since it's high in mercury levels. She loved the grits but gave me most of the green beans. Would I come here again? Probably. I enjoyed Bistro Niko more though.

We popped into Atlanta Fish Market due to some good reviews we'd seen and also the giant eye-catching giant fish outside! We were there a little outside of normal lunch or dinner time (right about 11:30am), so they weren't very busy at all, but our server let us know that if we had visited on a Sunday at that time, we would see the place hopping. The interior of Atlanta Fish Market is pretty neat, with a very nautical vibe. White shiplap boards, open airy skylights, and palm trees with twinkle lights wrapped around! We were seated by a corner window area that had greenery outside, so it really felt like we were out in nature by a lake or something, and not just by the busy street outside. The tables were thick wood, and they had blue booth seating that matched with the color palette completely. Based on the upscale decor and design, I would consider this a nice place to dine for a business lunch or nice date night. Our server was top notch as well, with a very attentive attitude, especially highlighted since we were one of only a few tables in the restaurant at that time. The food was also pretty great, with seafood being the top choice for us. We shared the watermelon salad to start, and even though the combo sounded a little weird at first, the watermelon played off the greens amazingly and gave it a nice fruity flavor. For my entree, I chose the fish and chips with hush puppies, and the fish was fabulous and very fresh. My husband is a salmon lover, so he got the pecan crusted salmon, which came with whipped sweet potato mash and broccoli. The crust on the salmon was great and had a little sweetness due to the honey butter on top of the salmon filet. With excellent service, an ambiance that was very welcoming, and food that was high quality and satisfying, we left Atlanta Fish Market very full, happy, and impressed!

We headed to Atlanta Fish Market on a beautiful Atlanta Saturday afternoon for our mother:daughter dinner. What a great choice. As a seafood lover, I can never stay away for too long! I decided to try some new options this time. My sister and I shared an order of the oysters Rockefeller which were great! Next, I had the lobster tail roll and for my entree I went with the Skillet NewBurg Au Gratin. All were a treat. I also tried my mom's shrimp Alfredo and it was amazing. My sister had the clam chowder for her appetizer. She also had the Skillet NewBurg Au Gratin and Lobster tail roll. We each had a crab cake! As I've said before, Atlanta Fish Market is by far one of the best seafood restaurants in Atlanta. You Just simply can't go wrong! The seafood is always fresh and the service is great! Don't miss out. Reservations strongly recommended for evening hours!!

I received one of the summer dining cards in the mail for the Atlanta Fish Market so I decided to check them out one Sunday after church. For an appetizer I ordered the regular calamari. The aioli that comes with it was so good. I could have eaten more. For my entree I had the scallops and I honestly wasn't impressed they weren't as melt in your mouth good as I've had before. The mashed potatoes were the star of the entree. They definitely tasted homemade. I wanted to switch out my mixed vegetables but I decided not to when I was told there is an up charge.

My service by Solomon was amazing! He was very attentive, gave me recommendations and was helpful throughout my visit. They gave me bread service for the table, and I had the Caesar salad, oysters (6), and a crab cake. For the Caesar, the dressing is made in house. The dressing itself was really good-- the Caesar salad as a whole was pretty average. The oysters were delicious. A few had shells which is natural with fresh shucking, and nothing I can't handle. I had two briny and two sweet-- both amazing! The star of the show for me was the crab cake. This was absolutely fire. Highly recommend that. I came for lunch so there weren't many patrons. The ambiance is upscale and nautical. Very nice overall.

I came for happy hour around 5ish. I believe it ends at 6:30. I ordered the lobster roll for $24, a rainbow roll that was $8 for four pieces, and a glass of sauvignon blanc for $8. Let's start with the good. The wine pour was heavy and I definitely appreciated that. For eight dollars that was solid. The rainbow roll for eight dollars was also fair for happy hour pricing. Now the lobster roll. It just was not worth $24 to me. The lobster meat was tough and not juicy. It wasn't seasoned properly at all. I actually had to add salt, which I hate doing because then it just sits on top instead of being cooked into the food. It was buttery, yes, but it mostly tasted like lobster and butter with no real flavor. The bread also fell apart which was annoying. I really wish they would have grilled or toasted it more so it could hold together better. Service was a little disappointing. When I first sat down my server was a girl named Joe. After a while it felt like there was a shift change because suddenly there were several staff members around and no one was really checking on me. I was sitting at the bar so I do not think there was a reason to overlook me. I noticed bartenders having conversations with other guests, but no one really bothered to see if I needed anything else. It felt like once I had my food, I was forgotten. Overall, decent happy hour pricing on drinks and sushi, but the lobster roll and the lack of consistent service would make me think twice about ordering that again.

Stopped by Atlanta Fish Market for lunch with my mom after being out in the Phipps area, and it did not disappoint. We hadn't been in years, but it's still every bit the Atlanta staple if you know, you know. We came toward the tail end of lunch and the service was still phenomenal. My mom got the platter, I had the fried shrimp with spinach and a cup of clam chowder (I'm a clam chowder girl, and this one was solid lots of clams). We also shared a fried lobster tail "for dessert," which ended up being my mom's favorite. Everything tasted fresh like it actually came from the Atlantic, not sitting around. Portions were definitely on the heavier side for lunch, but we had plenty to take home, so no complaints there. Overall, just a solid, reliable Atlanta spot. Would definitely come back.

I had a great experience at Atlanta Fish House! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The seafood was well-seasoned and not overly greasy, which I really appreciated. The portions were generous, and everything came out hot and made to order. The customer service was also friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. If you're looking for a spot with quality seafood and good service, Atlanta Fish House is definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back!

    Blackened - Grouper
    Alex K.

Had an awesome meal here. Came for lunch, so it was very quiet. Seafood spread in the market area looked amazing. Per our server's recommendation, I got the Chilean Sea Bass, Hong Kong style, and my friend got the Grouper, blackened style, which looked amazing and cooked perfectly. The Hong Kong style was pure white, so I'm not certain how it was prepared, but it was delicious. The Blackened looked better than mine and I will get that next time! All in all a great dining experience with great service and a nice mixture of old-fashioned and fish-market-like and modern, classy decor. Loved the meal, will be back!

Parking: lot behind restaurant Decor: outside huge fish statue but funky looking. Inside mediocre and chairs in dining room are uncomfortable with a small back. Food: tasty and well presented Price: a little aggressive but about average for the area Overall: I would go again but with so many options, I would try other cute well presented places first. This was a group dinner so they had larger seating to accommodate the groups.

I stopped by happy hour at **Atlanta Fish Market** as part of the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group's **Summer Dine Around** program, and it was a great introduction to both. The Summer Dine Around encourages guests to visit participating BLRG restaurants throughout the season while earning dining rewards, so it's a fun excuse to explore places you may not normally visit. For happy hour, I started with the Sauvignon Blanc, which paired perfectly with the **Hamachi Jalapeño**. That dish absolutely stole the show. The fish was incredibly fresh, buttery, and melted in my mouth, while the jalapeño added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavor. I could've easily ordered a second plate. I also had the **Classic Lobster Roll** served with warm butter. It was simple, rich, and exactly what you want from a lobster roll. The quality of the lobster really speaks for itself. To finish, I couldn't pass up the **Oreo Crusted Cheesecake**, and I'm glad I didn't. Creamy, decadent, and not overly sweet, it was the perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive, the atmosphere felt polished but relaxed, and happy hour made it easy to enjoy a luxury seafood experience without the full dinner price tag. I'll definitely be back, and I'm looking forward to checking out more restaurants through the Summer Dine Around program.

I have no idea why this gets 3.5 stars! It is always great. Amazingly awesome. This last trip was no exception! Great. Great service, great atmosphere, great selections, great timing on appetizers and then great timing on entrees! Even dessert.

This place has been on my list for years and I lost a gift card that I received back in 2009! I was given another gift card and decided to make it. They actually have a fish market in the restaurant and you can choose your seafood. Ppl were casually dressed and some ppl look like they were regulars. We went for an early dinner, as we had another commitment to attend in the area. My kid got the flounder with fries. It was a lot of food! She enjoyed it. I got the lobster BLT and it didn't disappoint.

Are there bottle wine specials? (Ex Kyma has 1/2 price bottles Sundays)

How much are the stone crabs? No one answers when I call the restaurant.

    What is the dress code?

There isn't a dress code. We dressed up when we went, but there were other patrons who were super casual. I'd say, dress how you feel.

    Noise level during evening dining?

    Average.

What is the parking situation like?

If you want to park right there, you have to use their valet service. Because of how small the lot and driveway is, it is a little chaotic especially at busy periods like dinner time. Another option (that I have personally used) is a self park…

Is there a self parking option during lunch hours?

Parking right at the restaurant is all valet. If you don't mind a little walking though, there is a self-park garage across the street.

Do they offer a children's menu?

    Yes

    Is there a happy hour?

No, unfortunately Atlanta doesn’t allow happy hour. We do have excellent drinks and apps!

The bathrooms are tucked away in the very back of the restaurant and were tidy and clean with a nice design. The food was truly delicious. The bao duo was a great starter. We got one with pork, the other chicken. I appreciated that the flavor profiles of each were so different! We also tried the umami rice bowl... perfect seasoning and portion for an app. For ramen I had the truffle shoyu and husband had a spicy tonkotsu. He assured me that my request for an non-tradtional dinner reservation could be fulfilled. He also informed me that they offered 2 hour parking validation in the 1010 parking deck. So I made reservations for the 6th from 630p-1100p. That particular day they also had a love band. So Dante reserved the high top bar tables for me which was 4 that sat upto 8 ppl. It was perfect b/c when I got there I had 1 friend waiting and then as we ordered food and drinks more ppl came through, and then some left and that was throughout the night. It was perfect. No waiting on opl not splitting bills just come enjoy buy what you want and leave when you want. The set up was EXACTLY what I wanted. SERVICE: Starting with the phone call to make the reservation Dante the GM was really nice an accommodating as I mentioned. I just hate I didnt get to meet him, b/c that day was his one day off. But nevertheless he had everything don't just the way i asked and I was grateful for his attentative nature. We had Yaz as our server and she was amazing to say the least! She was attentative and made sure everyone that came in was properly taking care of. She was personable and quite friendly which isn't that common these days. With everyone wanting a tip for bare minimal service it was refreshing to see someone who seemed to like her job and did it with ease and was on top of her game, so there for she deserved th3 tips she made from us that night. I didn't pay for anything (hence it being my bday), and I still tipped her. That's how good she was. And when I go back I will definitely ask for her section. The hist that checked us in, I believe his name was Mike. He was also very nice. There was a table next to pur high top tables and I asked if my mom could sit there and he said sure as long as they didn't need it, b/c my mom couldn't get up on the barstools that good. And so her and another friend's mom sat there. So worked out perfect AMBIANCE: The restaurant itself was really nice. I enjoyed every part. It was loud and the band was nice. At first on the appearance of the band I didn't know what to expect, but all in all they played a variety of really nice music and it wasn't over powering like they thought they were at a concert like most bands in restaurants. FOOD/DRINKS All I can day here was it was all soo very good. All of my friends were impressed and every person stated how they would have to come back b/c it was so nice. The drinks the food everything. I dont think Iate one thing I didn't like. Only thing I had that I mentioned to the server Yaz was that the octopus tail was a bit chewy amd that's it. The drinks were AMAZING. For me it is all about presentation and the had great presentation and tasted as good as they looked. One drink called the Good Time Girl was soo good and it came out with all these bubbles. It was amazing. They had a appetizer special 3 for $39 and me and a friend order 2 and so we tried 6 different things and it all was good. We had the calamari, grilled octopus tail, chicken wings, lettuce wraps, mussels, and oysters. It was ALL SOO YUMMY! We had a great time and it was perfect for how I wanted to celebrate. I would definitely come again hands down. The only downfall was that night the parking for 2 hours wasn't working properly so I parked on the street, but that wasn't the fault of the restaurant that was something with the garage I suppose.‍ So I definitely recommend this place. It's good for date night, hangout, drinks or a light bite. You won't be disappointed.

Intimate, warmly lit, and thoughtfully designed, it invites you to settle in. The presence of books, the scale of the room, the soft energy all creates an atmosphere that feels cultivated. What stands out most is the curation. The wine list is exceptional without being overwhelming, and the option for half pours makes it especially enjoyable for a slower, more exploratory evening. It's clear that every selection has been chosen with care and a point of view. The food follows suit--refined, seasonal, and quietly confident. Nothing is overdone, yet everything feels considered and well-executed. It complements the experience rather than competing for attention. Service is knowledgeable, passionate and attentive. My waiter was incredibly knowledgebale and offered the perfect suggestions. Then, when I was ready to try a drink, the bartender noticed, came over, and suggested a half pour of champagne with the omelette I ordered. Lucian doesn't try to be everything. It knows exactly what it is and executes it at a very high level. It's a place to linger, to read, to have a glass of wine that turns into two. An experience that feels both personal and elevated.

We started with the polenta appetizer, silky and warming, the kind of simple dish that becomes memorable when it's done with real finesse. The black grouper followed as the star -- perfectly cooked, delicate, and rich without ever feeling heavy. Paired with the seasonal salad, bright and crisp, it created a beautiful balance of depth and freshness. The 2021 Tempranillo from Rioja, Spain was a standout. Smooth, structured, and aromatic, it elevated every dish without overpowering them -- one of those bottles you immediately want to remember. Dessert was the lemon tart, light, fragrant, and absolutely divine. A perfect finish. And because it's Lucian, we didn't leave without wandering the shelves -- and ended up purchasing The Silk Roads by Anna Ansari, the perfect companion to an already thoughtful evening. A refined, welcoming space that feeds you in every sense. We'd return without hesitation.
