They have parking instructions on their website. They offer a 2-hour validation for the retail parking garage at 3005 Peachtree, located at the SE corner of Peachtree and Pharr Road. You can access the garage from both Peachtree and Pharr Roads. There's a $25 fee + tax per person for a reservation no-show, but as long as you cancel 24 hours in advance, you'll be fine. It's best to make a reservation ahead of time. We went there for a birthday lunch. The staff are very friendly and professional. They were attentive to my friend's Mediterranean diet and suggested menu items accordingly. The decor and ambiance are well designed, with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. I also like that the place isn't drowned in loud music or people's conversations like many other restaurants. The high ceiling probably helps with the noise level as well. We had: - Oysters with shallot: This dish tasted very fresh and had great flavor. - Poached steelhead with sunchoke: The fish was very tender. It looks and tastes very similar to salmon. - Chocolate budino with pistachio (dessert): The portion was just right, and the budino was rich; it felt almost like a mousse. They have a 90-minute time frame for lunch (mentioned on their website), but no one rushed us out even though we stayed a little longer. Maybe it was because it was a birthday lunch and the restaurant wasn't very crowded. Overall, we had a really nice experience. Highly recommended.

I came here for a birthday dinner with my mom. My mom is new into wine & the bartender was extremely patient with her trying to find a wine she liked. Once we were seated, our waitress was great. We had a handful of dishes & they were all good. The fish I had for my meal was fantastic. My mom's duck was perfectly cooked. The ambiance is great. It's a very quaint and upscale restaurant. I love the bookshelf they have on the right side of the restaurant. As a girl who likes food, wine & books, this restaurant is wonderful!

This was my first visit with a friend and won't be my last. The overall feel of Lucian books and wine is very classy and elegant with a bit of a romantic ambiance. We decided to sit at the bar for a couple drinks and appetizers to start the night. The drinks were great and bartender was friendly. The service was speedy and everything that came out was fresh. We enjoyed the fries, a citrus salad, a carpaccio dish and a couple of desserts. I will definitely e back to try their other items because everything on the menu felt unique and presented very well. Expect pricing to reflect an upscale restaurant near Buckhead Village and dress code was business casual and for a more mature crowd.

Wonderful ambiance and cute idea. Quite pricey (the cheese plate with three small pieces of cheese is almost 30 dollars), but if this is something you are into, it's a cute concept.

Good food, great wine selection, mid service... We started off with some wines and the olives. Olives were good- not super briny or salty. They paired well with the wine. I ordered a glass of the gruner veltliner-- it was quite crisp and refreshing and paired nicley with the olives and the ricotta gnudi. The ricotta gnudi and the pappardelle were both very good. The wagyu was cooked well and I particularly liked the mashed potatoes. I usually don't like potatoes in general, however, these had truffle oil or some sort of truffle-like flavor incorporated into them. Delicious. The fish was also seared quite perfectly. The desserts were good, but nothing to write home about. I liked the addition of flaky sea salt on the chocolate bundino. I wish the panna cotta looked prettier... the cherries seemed to be carelessly thrown on. The ambiance is beautiful. I am in love with the books-- very aesthetically pleasing, I also love the pop of color they add! My dad has been in the restaurant business for 50+ years and had some critiques about the service... the manager was quite rude and we did not have the best experience. Because of this, I will not be returning. Food was good, books are a fun touch, but service is lacking.

Our server Ashley was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu! Every single thing tasted delicious and we truly enjoyed the ambiance. We even picked up a book on the way out :)

Finally an Atlanta restaurant that combines all the good stuff: wine, books and delicious food. I received a Lucian Books and Wine gift card for my birthday and made a Friday night reservation. Upon arriving, my party of 2 was seated immediately and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We started off the evening with a glass of bubbly, the oysters and bison tartare. I loved that the bison was served with potato chips and the Lelarge-Pugeot brut champagne was the perfect partner!! For our second course, we shared the Ricotta gnudi with oxtail ragu and the lobster cavatelli. I found the ricotta oxtail to be the best dish of the night and one that I will dream of from time to time. The oxtail was flavorful, tender and paired perfectly with the ricotta. The lobster pasta was good, but I found the pasta a little chewy for my taste. We paired both dishes with the Barta Pinot Noir from Patagonia. The light bodied but earthiness of the wine worked well with the oxtail. Finally, we ended the night sharing the Toffee pudding and the chocolate budino with pistachios. Hands down the toffee pudding is worth every.single.calorie. The chocolate mousse was good but couldn't compete with the toffee. We paired dessert with the Amaro Montenegro...one of the best ways to end the night. If you have a foodie in your life who loves wine and appreciates intimate spaces, bring them to Lucian Books & Wine and thank me later!

Lucian Books and Wine is on the corner of Peachtree and Pharr Rd, which makes it conveniently placed for a quick bite to eat or for happy hour after work. My good friend and I met after work here to catch up and the one word I'd use to describe this place is upscale. Very intimate and fancy atmosphere, I'm so happy I packed a cute change of clothes to wear after work. The service here is upper echelon and they make sure to answer all of your questions and keep your glass full, if you so choose. The bookcase/shelf on the wall is perfect decor for their intimate setting and gives you something to do if you're waiting for the rest of your party to arrive. Additionally, they also have an EXTENSIVE plethora of wine and spirits to choose from which was lovely. The Spanish white wine (Do Ferreiro - Albarino Rias Baixas) was delicious and I highly recommend. I also tried the "bikini" sandwich which was also very tasty and their fries are to die for! I really appreciate the soft jazzy music playing in the background as well. Definitely set the scene but wasn't too noisy or attention grabbing. I will definitely be back and will be bringing friends.

My experience was amazing! I visited for the first time for my birthday celebration. I loved the moody decor and the books on display. We had reservations so we were greeted upon entry and seated quickly. Everyone was so pleasant, from the waitress to our waiter everyone was so nice! The selection of bottled wine is great. They ave over 200+ bottles. We decided to try a glass of wine from there 15 glass options. I do like how they rotate these options every 2 months. I tried the Sangiovese wine and the Yuzu Sake & Tonic cocktail. The wine and flavorful cocktails were so amazing! This is a great restaurant and wine bar for a special occasion or even a night out after work. I can't wait to go back!

    Caviar Omlette

Had to try "the best omelette" in Atlanta. Coming in this feels like a snooty concept. In a brand new building, with 20 foot ceilings of books. We came for lunch on a Friday and had no problem getting a seat. Service was prompt and helpful on guiding through the menu. The omelette was fantastic, just not sure what the butter was for. I was surprised with how well caviar pairs with an omelette. The crispy salty pops to go with the gooey cheese and perfectly cooked scrambled egg was a dynamite. Never thought the combo would work so stinking well. We also got the paté and I was licking it off the bowl. The jam on top was so good. The portion sizes are a bit small, but perfect for lunch. Enough to satisfy that hunger. I don't have a problem paying $29 dollars for the omelette, bc of the quality of the caviar. Would I drive 25 min again to buckhead to get again, probably not. But if I was in the area heck yeah. It's a nice boujie spot. Wish that had some espresso, but now worries. Absolutely worth giving a try! Bottom line, worth trying the omelette.

From the decor to the bathroom candles, every aspect of Lucian has been crafted with intention and meticulous attention to detail. The lighting fixtures, tile work, and overall ambiance reflect an exquisite design sensibility that transforms a meal into an experience. The owners and FOH are perfection and make you feel at absolute ease. The BOH speaks for itself. In my opinion, Lucian ranks among the top 2-3 restaurants in Atlanta. It is an absolute crime that it did not receive at least a mention in the Michelin Guide 2024--a glaring omission that left me gutted. Having frequented Lucian 7-8 times, I was introduced to this remarkable spot by the lovely ladies at Jackson Fine Art. I look forward to sharing a detailed review after my next visit, but for now, it's safe to say that Lucian is a dining experience that should not be missed.

    French omelette

If there's one word that describes this place perfectly, it's classy. The interior is modern and chic, with a gorgeous bar up against one wall of windows and the opposite wall full of cookbooks and other foodie books. All of the books are available for purchase, and there's also a table up front with Cherry Bombe and some other magazines/small books for purchase. We bought a book on Italian wines, and it came with a paper wrap sealed with a sticker, which was a nice touch. The food menu is streamlined, but every thing on it is done so well. We started with an order of the oysters with strawberry, basil, and lime mignonette as well as an order of the fries with tarragon mayo. The fries were piping hot and crispy- it was clear they had just come out of the fryer- and the tarragon mayo was a nice unusual twist. One of our mains was the French omelette, which was perfectly cooked and came topped with caviar with some herbed crème fraîche on the side. The other was the salmon, which came over a pea purée with carrot ribbons- it was the perfect spring dish. We ended with the toffee pudding, which was pretty small, but we enjoyed it. The food was pretty pricey, but felt worth it because everything was so well-made. The wine list is extensive, including selections by the glass- there was a nice range of options available, including different varietals/countries at different price points. Our server was knowledgeable and able to recommend pairings that went well with our food. Every member of the staff was so friendly and attentive, which we really appreciated. This was a really nice place to spend an hour or two!

    Truffle risotto
    Christine D.

The food at Lucian Books and Wine is stellar. I will dream about their roasted cabbage, which has chili and honey with a tahini sauce - yum! The risotto was rich and soothing on a cold night, and the chocolate dessert with hazelnut brittle was decadent. They have a great wine selection, and I really liked the orange wine I had from Greece. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and always ready to give their recommendations. The interior is gorgeous - I sat at the bar and browsed the books, which is a lovely concept, although I wish they had some more variety in their books that weren't just "coffee table" books. The only reason I give this four stars is that the food felt overpriced - while delicious, the portions were relatively small. Still, I'd definitely come back.

The prices are a bit high - about $4-5 for a small pour (my guess for red is about 2 oz), ~$9 for a medium pour, and ~$18 for a glass. It's a great concept though where you can try what you want but it can get pricey quick. They have different food options as well, including salads, sandwiches, and charcuterie boards. This restaurant features Mediterranean-Spanish fusion tapas and a few large plates; some are also American inspired. I could not remember clearly what we ordered during my first visit. We definitely ordered the chicken and it was too salty. Service was a bit slow even if the restaurant was nearly empty that night. For the brunch, my friend got the Cinnamon Roll and Prawns & Polenta on the $25 set menu, while I tried their labneh and Local Roots Salad. The Cinnamon Roll was too soggy. The other dish my friend had was similar to "shrimp and grits". It came with seven large, fresh prawns; full of umami. However, the polenta was disappointing as it was too salty, not hot enough and contained chunks of cornmeal. My labneh was very interesting; there were lots of different herbs and spices, and it tasted rich and spicy. It was served with lots of vegetable crudités (radish, sweet peppers, cucumber slices). Finally, the Local Roots Salad actually had not root vegetables; it had better be called Local Greens Salad lol. The olive crumbs were interesting though. Besides, the restaurant charges $3 for two tiny pieces of bread:(
