Breakfast at the A.G.! This is such a fun spot and definitely one to check out. They do a fantastic job with all of their meals and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. While there aren't technically Breakfast Nachos on their menu, it was an easy yes to adding scrambled eggs onto Will's Philly Nachos. They came out awesome! Tri-colored tortilla chips topped with shaved steak, grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, cheddar jack, salsa, sour cream and scrambled eggs! Now that's a good morning My friend had the Lobster Benny which looked amazing. I tried a bite and the hollandaise was perfect. This place is a must go for breakfast. We went on a Friday morning and we were able to get a table right away. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak omelet, breakfast bowl (egg, potatoes, sausage, bacon, tomato with gravy) and a side of corned beef hash. The two entrees were of high quality and very tasty. A lovely restaurant that I must have passed by hundreds of times over the years. It's conveniently located a few blocks away from Easton beach. it has a small community lot on the property, but you have tons of inexpensive paid lots all within the 3 blocks that surround the restaurant. The staff were pleasant and we had a minimal wait time to be seated. they had a decent menu with affordable prices for the area, and a full bar. so if your a mimosa or Bloody Mary to go with your brunch this is the place to do that. Service good, most food is good but be careful of the Pepperoni Pizza, it has always been loaded with meat until this past weekend....must be a new "pizza chef" and had only two pieces we could identify. We should have sent it back, but we were so hungry.... We told the server lady and the lady who serves the food, but they were not sympathetic or helpful. She chose wisely. I was craving seafood naturally and yelp lead me here. Google map's route taking me here is gorgeous. All those big houses and manicure lawns dominate the landscape. I almost drove right by the place it it wasn't for the sign and the "destination is on your left" alert. The outside of the building isn't much too look at but inside it has that nautical theme. Reminded me of a scale down version of the Weathervane Seafood Restaurant in Portsmouth. I know you read that review. Seating is park your butt anywhere we'll get to you. You don't have to worry about not getting seen because there's plenty of servers attending patrons or busting tables. My server properly greeted me with a menu. I decided to try something different so I got the stuffed qualhog appetizer because I had no clue what it was and my server picked my entree. The qualhog was interesting. First, I would have used a smaller plate to serve it on. I feel I got cheated with all that left over space and to cover it up with ketchup just embarrassing. Second, it looked like a big ball of dough and that's what I mostly tasted. I'm sure the clam was in there somewhere just not enough to dominate for taste. Third, I had to drown it with lemon to get any taste. Now that I've experienced it, I know I don't want it again. My server presented me with fish and chips. I guess she wanted to play it safe and I can appreciate that. Now this meal I would get again and again. The plate looked delicious with its one big piece of fish. Usually fish isn't always cooked because the chef wants the color but he/she did a great job. The fries were nice and crispy but that fish was A1. I mean it was max taste buds time. When I stabbed it with a fork, you can hear the crunch and watch it crumble into the fish. It was flaky and moist with every bite. This was a good choice. Overall four stars. Ok y'all, this place is a must try!. I started with a stuffed Quahog and it was awesome, it had to weigh in at nearly 1/2 of delicious seafood mixed with just enough spiced bread filling . Then, I finally tried a local lobster roll that was filled with a 1/2 of fresh lobster and it was delicious! It tasted like it had just come from the coast here, simple without too much condiments mixed in. I highly recommend y'all try both, but maybe not at the same time because I was super full and beyond satisfied. my wife really enjoyed the fish n chips, and I have to say I did try it! And it was some of the best I've ever tried. The only thing here is that it is very loud and crowded, but that's a good thing here because the food is A+ in my book. Where to start with this place? First off there was a huge wait and service was pretty slow. At least the butter was arranged in a very fancy pattern! There were lots of jelly choices (if you want the mixed berry jelly you have to ask for it because otherwise it goes too fast)- I had a coffee (not pictured) it wasn't very good so I was almost glad they didn't ask if I wanted a refill! When the food finally came I got pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream which was very good- but then again it's very difficult to mess up pancakes. It was quite loud in there. I would recommend if you're looking for a breakfast to make you feel like you're at your hometown diner, but I would not recommend if you're looking for something Newport fancy. read more

I was hoping to like this place. But it was average at best. I ordered a cup of clam chowder and a fish wrap with a side slaw, NO fries. My wife ordered the tuna melt and fries. The wait for the chowder took about 25 min. The waitress put the orders in but another person was bringing out the food. There was no checking in from the waitress to see if it had arrived - we had to flag her down. There was some team work missing or lack of communication. Or did they run out of chowder and have to cook a fresh batch? No explanation given. The chowder was pretty decent. However the fish wrap was a soggy mess and very salty. It came WITH fries and no slaw, at first. But the server did come back quickly with the slaw. Disappointing. The other reviews here with one or two stars because of poor service are spot on. Social distancing is enforced & masks are required upon entry until seated. Disposable mats and paper straws are provided. There is a full bar available if need be. Atlantic Grille is a poppin place and for good reason! The food here is amazing. They have a simple menu that wasn't overwhelming. The seafood here is exceptional! I started off with clam chowder for myself of course and had mussels for the rest of the table. Clam chowder was good! Wouldn't say the best I've had but it's definitely not just an average chowder. Quite delicious actually with a lot of favor and something to warm you up on this winter day. The mussels were amazing! My friends and I destroyed this dish! The juices and broth that it marinated it was absolutely tasty! Had the zesty creamy lemony taste with a hint of spice for just enough kick to excite your taste buds. Would recommend this appetizer all the way! Now finally the baked lobster which was a special in their little additional menu. Very good but nothing that really had a wow factor. Me and my family had come here in the past and had a good experience. however, it has seriously gone downhill. We ordered Cod, a lobster roll, and chicken Alfredo pasta. It took a very long time to prepare and the cod was very dry and tasted like it had been a few days old. It was a very small portion for 25 dollars. We are not the type of people to send food back but it was a large amount of money for something of terrible quality and ended up getting a grilled sandwich that was very difficult to eat. the Alfredo was very garlicky and buttery. Even when it was first brought out, it wasn't creamy whatsoever. The lobster roll was not of good quality either. The place was clean and temperature felt very nice. My wife and I visited the Atlantic Grill for breakfast on June 12. We were promptly seated at a bar table by the hostess. Then, nothing. No one acknowledged our existence for over 15 minutes. I spoke to the bar tender and he informed me he would let our server know we were there. Again, nothing. We waited for another 15 minutes. The restaurant was not busy. The staff plainly just did not care for our business. My wife called and spoke to Patrice, who claimed to be the manager and was very hesitant to give her name. She only stated should would investigate our claim of lack of service. She also obviously does not care for patrons or the business. People stay away from this place. If the staff treat their patrons like this I would hate to think what the kitchen is like. Stay away. Have breakfast at Tickets instead. read more

The batter to fish ratio was 4:1. Coleslaw was missing something. Fries were okay. Regular. My meal... the shrimp and scallop fajita was cute. The onions and peppers cooked to perfection. Seafood was good. Portioned properly for the 3 tortillas that came out. BUT... the set up with the sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and salsa was a little sus. It was clear to me that they used bottled salsa. Something like Tostitos mild salsa. Sour cream was super cold and a little one the solid side. Lettuce and tomato seemed as if it came right from a salad that they serve. Tomatoes were pretty BIG to be put in a tortilla. I would've gave this place 3 1/2 stars but don't know how to!!! We made it in here a few minutes after they stopped serving breakfast. We were so disappointed because we wanted a few breakfast items. Our waitress was so kind enough to ask the kitchen if they could still take our order, which they did. We ordered the Atlantic Grille stuffed Quahog, which was soooooo good. It comes with hot peppers on the side, as well as sriracha sauce drizzled on the plate. It was spicy and so delicious. My boyfriend got the surfer's end, which came with 2 eggs, home fries, bacon and a Belgium waffle. This came with a huge portion of bacon. We'd pay extra for that as a side here in the city. I ordered the lobster roll, that came warm with a side of fries and coleslaw. The lobster roll was just okay and the coleslaw had a funky taste/smell to me but that's okay because everything else was exceptional.
