Rating: 3.5 The view upstairs is great-- though it is first come first serve so don't plan on it. Reservations were easy to make through Resy and we were even able to adjust the time same-day. I had the bolognese which was good, but not $26 good if that makes sense. My fiancé got the chicken sandwich which was "fine" but nothing special. Tickets has a fun atmosphere and very comfortable restaurant with seating on two floors. The server that we had was incredible as well. I wish that I could report that the food was equally as amazing, but it was just okay at best. I started with the chowder, which had decent flavor, but was very runny for a cream chowder, more like a clear chowder with lots of cream rather than a thick creamy chowder. The fried seafood platter looked and smelled amazing, but was surprisingly bland. I think a lot of it came down to the tartar sauce, as the leftovers tasted better with what we had at home. Took a day trip to Newport, and headed here hoping to find a TV to watch our favorite basketball team play. We lucked out, there were plenty of TVs and we didn't have to sit at the bar to see them. The host was able to switch the channel so we could watch the game. This restaurant has fairly standard sports bar food, prices on the higher end. I will say, the food was great and the portions were big! I took half of my Hawaiian chicken sandwich home. The atmosphere was open with lots of seating choices - bar, high top, low top. There are big windows and views of the ocean. It was winter when we stopped in, I imagine this place is amazing in summer, right across from the beach. No reason not to give this place 5 stars, and the fact that our basketball team won the game made the experience even sweeter! read more

They were not able to accept the yelp check-in discount - that was the only negative thing I have to say. I sat outside with stunning views: ocean, landscaping, and even a bunny running by. If you want a sports bar by the beach in Middletown this is probably a your choice. They have several TV's and good seating. It's two floors. They have a large u shaped bar, tables and games. The food is inconsistent and pricy. Their fish and chips is good. I like the batter. Sometimes is greasy though. The New York sirloin is good but it's 30 dollars. If you add scallops it's another 15 dollars. I had send it back because it was overcooked. The staff have always been great. They are very nice and attentive. read more

We had a reservation and when we arrived they didn't know if there was a table for us. We ended up being seated upstairs which worked out fine. The food was okay but nothing special. The lobster roll was super heavy on the mayo. We don't get pizza but it did look good. The chowder was excellent. The fries were good. The drinks were good but they had their summer drink menu on the website but they actually had the fall drink menu when we visited. The fall drinks were delicious though. read more

The food is great, lots of choices and very allergy friendly. I was staying close by for 3-days for a work conference and ended up eating here on three separate occasions. I had the same server on both evening meals and he was super friendly. The issues I had were with the app and subsequent loyalty points. Since I was going to be here a few days I decided to download the app and join the rewards program. The app advertised a $10 instant reward when signing up, after many different attempts to join I finally got registered but only received a $5 instant reward. The server explained that they hadn't updated the website with current info. Ok, no problem, I used my $5 and went on my way. The second night our whole group, 11 people, came for dinner, we had a reservation. Food was good again, great server, but one member of our group didn't get their meal with the rest of us. The kitchen messed up and gave their meal to another customer. The group was completely done eating when that meal finally arrived. I did speak with the manager and they didn't charge us for the meal and one drink, but I had to request that, it wasn't a given. I paid for the group meal, well over $300, but the loyalty points never went into my account. No one seemed knowledgeable about the loyalty program but assured me that I would get those points in my account. I left them my info and it's been 2 days and still no points. On my final morning, I decided to have breakfast here, the app said I had a $10 breakfast coupon. Again, food and service were great, but they hadn't updated no clue on how to apply my coupon. They ended up just adjusting the bill to give me a $10 credit. If you don't plan to use the loyalty program then I highly recommend this place, but don't bank on any loyalty points. read more

Omg great last minute decision. Every other place seemed to have no availability. We drove by and saw a few open tables outside so we turned around and came back and gave it a chance. I'm so glad we did. The atmosphere was great, there was some music outside but it wasn't too loud, but it helped you forget that you're situated on a busy road. Everything we ordered was amazing. My five-year-old son opted for the chicken quesadilla, and we all had a bite and decided it was hands-down one of the best quesadillas we've had. We got the quahog as an appetizer, also phenomenal. I wanted to experience the foods that I don't often get (or not as good as) from at home. The lobster cocktail was my first time ever and did not disappoint. I've had good shrimp cocktail before, but these were yummy and HUGE! My friend enjoyed her French onion soup ~ which was different with the fried onions on top. Killer early apps! Portuguese steamed little necks--normally $19...half price. Rich broth, fresh clams and chourico...a full meal by themselves! Decent clam cakes with a remoulade dipping sauce--normally $9--half price. Ordered stuffies too--way too bready--sent back. Veggie pizza was supermarket quality-small--overpriced. $17 ugh. I had a Ranch Water which was good, and we got our oysters and shrimp cocktail in a timely manner. The turkey club tasted as if the white bread was stale and all together it was very dry- barely any mayo on it. The truffle fries we had to order as a side were the best part about our stop in. So crispy and hot. All in all not a bad place to stop in quick for a few cocktails, has a nice little view of the ocean, but probably other places around that would be better IMO. Also, side note, a server was taking what appeared to be a break in the dining area behind the bar area and she was puffing on her vape- which hey whatever, but its just a bad look in a restaurant. Great New England sports atmosphere with decent food. Fried Mozzarella was outstanding ... cheesy and crispy! I was disappointed wit my burger as I asked for medium and it was charred and well done. The soft bun saved the burger. But the real treat and the reason I went from 3 to 4 stars was the bread pudding. Absolutely mouthwatering and not too sweet! However, I'm extremely disappointed with the portion size. I ordered the salmon, expecting a decent sized piece and received a sliver. (See photo). Maybe that's normal for here...could be why they only have 3.5 stars. It also took really long for our food to come out. The chicken wings were good though! Kelce was our waitress. We had not gone here before. We were surprised that such a terrific restaurant was open in the middle of winter. Kelce suggested French Onion soup. It was delicious!!! The best we've had in a long time. Kelce also recommended Shrimp Tacos! Delicious. I haven't had such great tacos since living in San Diego California. A great surprise and a real treat.
