The front desk workers are very unkind and unhelpful. Came to this location twice and left with a pit in my stomach because of the treatment by the office staff. Medical tests are anxiety inducing enough, don't need rude staff on top of it. I will not be retuning to this location. read more

The doctors and technicians are very good and very professional. The issue is the billing. I am now waiting for a resolutions to a duplicate payment for almost four months. If anyone can go to a different company for imaging, I suggest that you do. read more

I have been a patient of AMI for 20 years. I will not be returning. My last few visits have resulted in misread diagnoses. The lack of post procedure protocol which resulted in me becoming very sick. Way to go AMI. I need a Cardiac MRI/MRA and in true AMI fashionThey make it virtually impossible to schedule a test. They only do this test on the third thursday of the fourteenth month.When there's a full moon over Brazil. However, the reality of it is, they only do this test on certain mornings.And if you work and you can't get off because of your job or you've just started a new job.You cannot get this test done because they don't do them in the evening or on weekends. Thank you for being so accommodating AMI ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS IS A CARDIAC TEST, YOU WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE READILY AVAILABLE. Once you break through that never ending hold to make the appointment, you will find a wonderful, caring and compassionate staff. There was a question about my dads procedure and John and Anna Marie took the time and care to make sure he was getting what he needed. It actually required leaving and coming back another day but the amount of dedication was deeply appreciated. The check in staff was also very sweet and accommodating to my elderly dad. Thank you to all at the AMI in EHT, especially John and Anna Marie. When I made an appointment I was interviewed on my health condition, I was on the phone answering their questions for roughly 25 minutes I was told to fast 24 hours before the appointment along with other inconvenient instructions. When I arrived at my appointment time, I filled out their paperwork, later I was led back to a small wooden cubicle where I was questioned once more for approximately 5 to 8 minutes before I was told that they were unable to do my MRI, I asked why couldn't you turn me down before my appointment , no communication, very poor way of conducting their business, but I guess you can get away with this behavior if you're the only game in town read more

I walked into egg Harbor Township Atlantic medical imaging, when I made the appointment, I asked for a male technician what I saw was 20 female, full staff, no mail staff members. Talk about discrimination and double standards. This one takes the cake, I had to get my CT scan. I did not have to disrobe. However, there were three men sitting in the waiting room with patients that just arrived there were no women with gowns on waiting. This was my 2nd visit in 2 months. I was not pleased with the service. The test I needed to take required a bed with stirrups and they did not have one on the day I went. When I booked I specified that I was disabled and needed certain accommodations, not adhered too. When I was at EH Twp. in August I had to get an Ultrasound they gave me a male technician without asking me if I would be comfortable with Him. I asked for a female technician so I had to go back to wait again in the waiting room. It took so long I had to release the water and reschedule the test, since then it seems like they have an attitude with me when I go. So I won't be going to EH Twp. again. I'll choose another location. I just have to drive a little further for my comfort. My doctors always request that I go to AMI for testing. I will let them know of these mishaps. read more

when I made my CT appt. I was told I had to go to AMI to pick up an oral prep. so I found someone to drive me and when I got there was told I didn't need an oral prep. The explanation was you (AMI) have to see the Rx with your own eyes to make the proper appt.??? Since I was already there I was given the paperwork but I was given an MRI form even though I wasn't having an MRI. When I arrived for my appt. Every thing went well. Everyone was courteous. I was taken on time. Joe the CT tech was very nice and helpful. So the last impression was good. But the pre-appointment situation needs to be looked into read more

This was my 3rd visit for a prostate MRI at AMI @WALL..and my last. This is the 2nd time that the local staff screwed up my MRI and the most recent MRI took 3 additional visits to correct the MRI report.... and report the still wasn't right. Local staff doesn't return phone calls so I had appeared 3 times after my original MRI to have critical information added to my report for discussion with my prescribing doctor. I went there for a BPH (enlarged prostate) MRI but got a cancer screening test/report. Even left my name and tel # for the radiologists to call me about my concerns but he never called. AMI does not allow the radiologists to t/w patients. Very unprofessional at the front desk and experienced multiple attempts by the staff to bully me into accepting the mistaken report even though it was clearly wrong. Still question if it is even my MRI...I am also a patient at Sloan Kettering ....and it is quite clear that AMI is clearly a substandard medical facility as compared to Sloan and other testing facilities for its patient care, professional approach and quality and depth of its MRI reports. read more

They were very pleasant, my tech who I'm sorry I don't remember her name but she was very nice and caring, The only issue I had was that it's freezing cold in there and I know it needs to be cold for the sterilization of the room however if y'all could provide heated blankets that would be great. I also agree about not having a separate changing rooms for men and woman or an enclosed place with a door and a lock. Well I guess we could go in the bathroom and get changed. From the moment I walked in the front desk personnel were discourteous. I was greeted with a "Did you sign in?" introduction and after doing so and waiting at the window with ID, insurance card, and prescription in hand was ignored again for several minutes by the numerous employees. Finally, someone said "Sit down and wait for your name to be called." When I was called I was rather abruptly told that they did not accept my insurance. What? I filled out all the paperwork online days before and my insurance was most definitely listed in the dropdown menu. I also received several texts confirming my appointment. I was basically given the "someone screwed up" brush off and told I had to go to Hammonton or Manahawkin for my x-rays. If my insurance is accepted at some AMI locations shouldn't it be accepted at all? read more

This place is always very busy..... but charges more money than other centers. The staff never smiles and not very friendly. You have to wait weeks for an appointment and then wait over 30+ minutes in their waiting room. Place is very clean and equipment up to date. However, check with your insurance provider before having any ultrasounds done. They will tell you it's covered then send you a bill. MRI 's are costly here in comparison to other centers. SJR is ten times better! read more

I have had a MRI and X-ray done at this facility. Clean and the staff was professional and courteous. Only thing I disliked was that their was not separate changing areas for women and men and being a sexual assault survivor my anxiety was high and I was extremely uncomfortable with this. If they had separate areas it would have gotten 5 stars. read more

The front desk was polite and quick but my issue was with the radiologist. When I first walked in I was immediately put into position and zapped. There was no lead apron placed to protect my sensitive organs. Before I was put into the second position I asked about having a lead apron. Where I was met with a "oh I didn't know you wanted one, I'll get it for you." Correct me if I'm wrong but they are required. read more
