I met with Dr. Jonathan Kriebel, who by the way is excellent. He was very knowledgeable, personable, professional and encouraging. Dr. Kriebel didn't make me feel bad about not being able to do all the exercises right away. I was given some to "practice" at home. I'm so relieved that my back is feeling much better and I can't thank this office enough! The space is very modern and clean! Elo, the receptionist is very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this office if you are in need of PT services!

As a klutz, I fell and broke and tore ligaments in my foot and sprained my ankle a few months back…read more Someone had told me "if you can walk on it it's not broken" so I walked on it for five weeks before going to the doctor and I learned that no, you absolutely can walk on a broken foot. Pro tip. Anyway. After two months in a boot my foot was worse than it was before (from my perspective) in that parts that didn't hurt before the boot did and of course I'd lost ALL strength and range in it. How much was from the boot and how much from the original injury hard to say. Anyway, it was at this point that my doctor recommended PT and sent me to Optimal. Hadassa took my case and she is great; over the past three months or so she's gotten the strength and range of motion in my ankle back to what it needed to be. I still have some issues with the foot that I think are deeper (pun intended) than what PT alone can resolve so I'm off to get a second opinion on that. But, I highly recommend Optimal if you need PT. I've worked mostly with Hadassa but also with Paula and Nicole, and all are excellent therapists as well as kind and caring people. What really makes Optimal stand out though is the people and the environment. I've been to probably half a dozen PT facilities over the years and as far as I can tell they've all been good at what they do, but not going to lie, it's usually boring as heck doing PT. But you won't be bored at Optimal. There is just something far more *social* about Optimal than any of the other PT places I've been, that's totally separate from the quality of the therapy (which of course is there, and is the most important thing) - but I can honestly say I never *looked forward* to going to PT before. But I've gotten to know the therapists and their assistants and even several of the other "regulars", and now that I've been released I'm going to miss hearing about everyone's adventures. I've learned it's absolutely possible to be both professional in medicine and have fun doing it, so Optimal is going to be my PT of choice next time I break myself. Which, who are we kidding, probably won't be that long since I'm a klutz.

The chiropractors are skilled practicioners who care about their patients…read more BUT: their hours are Monday - Thursday for chiropractic adjustments. Closed for chiro Friday, Sat. and Sunday. By my experience, this means often there's little provision to help me if my pain starts on Wednesday. By then it's often too late to get an appointment for Thursday. So I've had to endure the pain for 5 days til the following Monday. It's so hard! Even beyond that, often patients need treatments spaced regularly thoughout the week. Every other day is essentially a non option, and twice a week is difficult. If there are no available appointments on Monday and Thursday or if a patient can't make it those days, the patient has to get Mon-Wed or Tues-Thur treatments and then wait 5 days for their next treatment. Ouch. Before the pandemic their hours were great (5 days a week + Sat AMs). The pandemic has likely trimmed their patient base. So I understand if they can only give chiropractic treatments for 4 days a week. But why don't they at least open their practice Mon, Tues, Wed, and then Fri? Then a patient doesn't have to suffer for as long. They must be keenly aware how much pain they can take away with regularly spaced treatments. It troubles me that the docs are okay with noodling around for regular 3 day weekends while a number of patients struggle to manage their pain. I may have to look for a new practice. I've been loyal to this practice for 13 years, but i want to be in less pain than they're willing to help me with anymore.

I'm not just doing my homework in front of them and/or their tech--they are asking lots of questions and thinking creatively and having me try new things and doing pain-relieving pressure and dry needling and evaluating ten pairs of my shoes for me and on and on. My life is better for it. I recommend everyone with any physical discomfort or problems at all to see her once and just see what happens. I came here and was surprised by the "average" review because Agnes is definitely the best PT I've ever seen. She's a manual PT, meaning she will put your alignment back in place and get the knots out. I started seeing her through word of mouth, so I never found her online. She fixes your shit and has a real knack for figuring things out. If you don't have poor habits your problem can be fixed in one session. The habits can take longer to correct, but she identified what I needed to do to fix my discomfort and pain throughout my body. It takes genuine work and effort sometimes, but her methods are more concrete and make more sense than other PTs I've gone to. Other PTs have come close, but never fixed my alignment in the session and did not give me a vision. I was regularly discouraged. I'm 27 and other practitioners were surprised how much discomfort I was in, considering I'm so young, but Agnes knew immediately that I was doing certain things to create the muscle weaknesses I had and was able to tell me about them. I went to chiropractic care for years with minimal to 0 change. I know it's a personal journey figuring out what you and your body needs to feel it's best, but I think everyone should try Agnes first.

I would feel confident if I ever had to return to the hands of Mike, Agnes, or Doug. I was only ever in as much pain as needed for progress, and my endless well of healing questions was fielded with deftness. I sincerely doubt my range of motion would have improved further elsewhere. Neurosurgeon recommended PT instead of surgery and I'm grateful he did. I worked with PT Sammie Nguyen. Sammie was great at communicating with me and helping me understand what I needed to do to heal. He was patient and knowledgeable and also very nice. My initial evaluation with Dominic was very thorough and he definitely found the root cause of my pain after months of being sent to dr after dr. My sessions after that eval have been with Anya who is incredibly kind and really encouraged me to not rush my healing process. She really helped me understand how to do my exercises the correct way and help me notice what i need to engage with each one. It's been very helpful to learn that my initial abdomen pain turned out to surprisingly be all related to lower back and hip flexor tightness and that it all correlates. I had thought for many months that it could've been appendicitis and have been extremely relieved its turned out to be not that serious.
