I wish I could give zero. They set off the sprinklers flooding my condo and the one below while installing a new unit (or trying to). Their insurance company refused to deal with me meaningfully: eventually I had to turn it over to my own insurance company. They are still trying to get *me* to pay them for the clean up. It's been 9 months and I still have no floors, and haven't been able to use my condo since before Memorial Day 2021. Under DE law, the contractor is obligated to put me back in the situation I was in before their negligence, regardless of what their (lousy) insurance pays; their VP admitted they never read the emails I sent them. Oh, and the guy who eventually installed a new unit said the wiring set up they had done was wrong. Stay away!! read more

I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you how impressed I was with your technician, Travis. I admit last month that I was highly peeved that the original technician dispatched to our home to fix our air conditioning seemed a bit wet behind the ears. It alarmed me that after four hours in our home, he didn't even realize that our home contained TWO geothermal units (one for downstairs where he was working and one in the attic for the second floor). He seemed to be constantly going outside to his truck to talk to someone on the telephone for guidance. When I called your receptionist to express my concerns, Travis was sent out within a half hour to help assess the situation. Though the diagnosis was not the most pleasant to hear, at least we had a cause and a route to remedy the situation. Travis even took the time to call me that night after the original technician had failed to restart our geo pump and we did not have any air conditioning inside the house. He patiently instructed me on how to perform a workaround to get the air conditioning working again (it amounted to turning off both the breakers to the pump and the second floor unit, then slowly restarting the pump then the upstairs unit). Bingo! We had cool air flowing for the upstairs, which in turn would temporarily assist with the downstairs - and keeping our houseguests comfortable. Travis followed up twice that evening with me AND also the following morning. What fantastic customer service. When the upstairs unit went out the following week, Travis came by the house to remedy the situation and followed up the following morning with us. He even checked on the status of the part for our downstairs unit. When our part for the downstairs unit finally arrived, Travis was placed on the team to fix the unit. It was a time consuming project, but in a few hours, we were up and running. Again, Travis followed upthe following morning with me. You simply cannot put a price on that service. Travis is definately an asset to your team. He works around the clock to assure that his customers are satisfied and comfortable. In this day and age, service like that is virtually unheard of. So often we only hear of the bad things that happen when a company works on your home. I wanted to bring it to your attention that one of your employees is going above and beyond! Thank you! Because of this wonderful customer service, I will be contacting Connor at the end of the season to get an estimate for replacement of our HVAC system at an investment property we own in Rehoboth Beach. It is currently under a maintenance contract with the original company that installed it, but after the excellent customer service from Travis, I want to start switching all our properties over to Atlantic Refrigeration as they need to be upgraded. read more

I came up to my house in Rehobeth to play golf and found out that my heating furnace was not working it was like 49° I called a couple companies they said they could not come out because they are serving their main customers and would not come to my house for a couple days. I tried about five companies then I called Atlantic not only did they come Out that same day they came within an hour with no contract I was very fortunate. A woman called Mia Mitchell responded to my phone call she went beyond the work that I expected and wouldn't quit until she found out what was going on and she did Atlantic is a great company they save my house from the cold rice pipes bursting and whatever could've happened I think Alantic for the quick response and the great work I signed a contract right away with them not that I needed to because they seem to come out whether I had a contract or not I am indebted to them and will always be with them as long as their company thank you Atlantic read more

I wanted to reserve judgement on this company who installed a new AC/heat unit for us. The tech came out first thing the next day to fix the new unit that did not turn off all night the first night. There were a couple of other service calls both done in a timely manner. We took a service contract and a tech came out to service the unit for the heating season. Now we are trying to sell our home and to our surprise the inspection turned up a major defect with the wiring on the condensation pump which is considered a fire hazard. ??. We contacted Atlantic and after calling them again on the following day I was told they would send "someone" out to look at it. "NO ONE" showed up and no phone call. Under normal circumstances we could be patient. This means the sale of this home and the purchase of another home out of state. I explained our dilemma fully to Atlantic. Not showing up and not calling is NOT good business. Very disappointed. read more
