We got to the address and it was a hotel, which apparently has the nail salon in it; but the nail salon was completely torn apart. When I called the business a lady answered just saying hello, not stating the business name at all. And told me that it was under renovation and there was another location, Nail lounge. The prices were much higher than advertised and they weren't able to do either design that my daughter and I asked for, hers was checker print and mind was white marble. I've been going there for a few months. Everything was really great. Until today they always ask you do you like what you're getting. I explained that I did not like what they were doing today. She became irate. She stood up and began to condemn me for telling her what I thought was wrong. I then explained once again what I told her throughout the process that I did not like. She argued with me out loud in front of all of her customers. I told her I was done she offered to completely redo. However, after spending an hour and a half there waiting for my nails to be done, I was done. She continued to argue with me. And I decided at that point time I was just gonna walk out. She offered to pay for it. I told her no I would pay for it she would not accept my money. Told me to give it to the church. So after that, I decided to just leave. It is filthy and disgusting there. I put up with that because my nails didn't lift, and they were reasonable.I will never go back there and I hope that you have a better experience if you go there. read more

Not a large overpriced non-English speaking place. Staff is lovely and they stride for client satisfaction--- ahhh I can't say that for all area salons. Again trust me I have tried many!!! Found my way in to this salon on the back ok Yelp reviews and was glad for it. I chose the citrus scrub pedi and a full set mani. The pedi concludes with a hot stone massage, which was a treat. The end result is always what makes it good or nah with a full set nails and mine looked excellent in the end - so I was pleased. It took about 2 hours for both services and, for me, that seemed a little long. With tip, both services totalled $70 which is a bit more than I was expecting. Let's start by two misleading pieces of advertisement from the manager herself on the Yelp page: Come enjoy the ocean view and a complimentary beverage. Neither one of these statements are true. NEITHER. ONE. Your "view" is actually quite blocked, dim and suffocating. Their is barely a window/door to the outside which only has a partial view of a small, not very elegant pool. Also, they definitely do not have complimentary beverage. What they DO have is a tiny, dark, cramped space with ZERO ventilation, one TV, and dirty floors. I almost felt like running away when I saw this place but really had no other place to go at the time I chose so I decided to stay. Now, I will say that the woman who did my nails did an excellent job....In spite of the fact that I requested a gel manicure and ended up with a regular manicure and the wrong color twice instead. But the nails actually do look and feel great and she got done super quickly. Almost a week later they still look good. But based on the look and feel of the place plus the difficulty in communicating with the technician, I would not return. read more

Let me start out by telling you how particular I am. I usually am always unhappy when I go get my nails done while on vacation and unable to go to my normal place. This is a different situation. I made an appointment letting the manager know how picky I am and I need the best person to do so. She said this is good cause I'm picky too! So I made an appointment. I was also very specific on the phone that I wanted a pedicure and gel builder done at the same time. She didn't tell me they were unable to do that until I got there. (Which made me a little upset) we didn't really have time to be there for 2 hours. Also when we got there they were a little behind. Like 30 min behind. It's ok, it happens but just be prepared to wait a little. The manager did my nails and she did an excellent excellent job!!!! She did exactly how I wanted them. Not thick and everything was good! Went for mother/daughter pedi, my lady was very good and sweet, however the older lady my 8 year old daughter had was irritated when she wanted to change colors because it was see through and pushed her hand away when she was trying to explain what she wanted done. The first thing my daughter said when she left was, why was she so rude? We get our nails done a lot and this was her first bad experience unfortunately. The lady shouldn't be working with kids if she doesn't have the compassion and patience. Do not recommend for children!! Just called about a gift certificate I received from Comedy Cabanas silent auction the other night. I received a spa mani and pedi, but since I just had my nails done before coming down here (for my wedding!) I didn't need it for this trip. I spoke with Tina, told her I have a condo here and try to make it a couple of times a year...but the certificate expires in April, we probably won't be her until June. She said, "no problem no problem" and when I offered to come down to get the certificate adjusted for the date she said she is always there and no need, they will honor it. Boy-that is great customer service in my book! I will not only use this gift certificate when I come back, but you have yourself a repeat customer...not to mention me recommending your services to my family, friends and those who we rent out our condo to!
