I couldn't be happier with the results!! Efrain and his crew brought our 10" Travertine tile back to life. We had stains, scratches, paint splatter, and pockmarks. Efrain is one of a kind in construction industry. He is honest, likable to work with and a good communicator. He cares about result of his work, has a process for stone cleaning and is through. I watched him doing the job, he identified areas needed more scrubbing and used multiple heads from coarse to fine polish and finally sealer was applied. He and his help are both professional. I am very happy with the results and saved me from replacing my floors. His price is very reasonable and results amazing. Some advise and warnings. Be patient, he is busy and you may have to plan ahead. They did helped me with big items to move. I suggest you have as much as stuff you can get out before they arrive. They do cover your fixtures and cabinets but you can get a better protection if you cover them ahead with plastic and masking tapes. I already planned changing my baseboards, you may need to do some touch up if you wish to keep them after cleaning. See the kitchen floor after cleaning, it had a lot of stains before the process. read more

I have contacted this company on two different occasions for an estimate to do my floors...too no avail they failed to show up on both set times and also failed to even contact me of their no show. If you are going to go as far as advertise in a mailer for your business and than give out crappy customer service from the gate...I suggest you save your advertising money for the day you need to shut your doors! Love, love my floors, they look brand new!! I expressed to Efrain that I wanted my floors to sparkle like diamonds, and the grout to be white as can be, super clean and gorgeous. The tricky part, I needed my floors done within a couple of days.......With Atlantis being booked out a couple of weeks, Efrain and Jose came out on their day off, and did an amazing job!! My floors are gorgeous, not the easiest floors to work with, they are a pillow top limestone, that requires more time and patience to really polish them well. Efrain and Jose worked their magic, and the results are spectacular! When I first called for an estimate, Efrain came out the very next day, just as he said he would! After working all across town, Efrain and Jose made it out to my house in rush hour traffic to meet with me and give me an estimate. Very professional, and an incredibly kind man! During the initial bid, Efrain quoted a fair price for the amount of work to be done. Today they completed the work. Efrain and Jose showed up on time and ready to go. They cleaned, sealed, and polished the travertine in the entryway, 2 bathrooms, and the kitchen. They spent about 20 minutes longer than the timing estimate, but that was putting extra time into some nasty spots. The floors went from a dull finish with lots of spots and dirt, to a gloss finish so beautiful you can see your reflection in it. The travertine looks more beautiful than it did the day it was installed 12 years ago. I would gladly recommend Atlantis to anyone -- and I've already suggested that our condo building use them to clean and polish the building's main entrance and recreation room. read more

I contacted this company because of an ad I saw in one of the Neighborhood fliers. We made an appointment for him (Efrain) to come out to look at a couple of slate showers and some other floor slate. He never showed, he never called. I tried to contact him, and eventually, after threatening a bad review, he said he and his worker had been in a car accident and he had hurt his back. I felt awful, and said I'd hang in with him until he could work again. He knew we were selling our house and trying to get everything done on schedule. After weeks, he finally said he could come out. He came out with another worker, and looked at the showers, etc., and we agreed on a price and made an appointment. The day he came out, with one worker, and after a conversation to confirm the price, I left to get cash, and when I returned, he was gone. He gave some strange explanation to my husband, which made no sense, and he just left, job undone, no telephone call. Tried to reach him several times because cryptically, he told my husband he would return the next day, and nothing. There was no apology, no explanation, no response whatsoever. I have never been treated so unprofessionally. He created an incredible problem for us, when the photographer was coming to take pictures for the listing, he was unethical and has no character. To this day, two weeks later, still has not reached out or explained in any way. STAY AWAY!!! read more

I asked Atlantis Stone Care to come to my home and tell me what they thought could be done to help correct a terrible job that was done to my limestone floors by another company about a week earlier. Efrain came over the next day, took one look at what the previous company did and told me exactly what they did incorrectly and how he and his company could resolve my problem. Being I had just paid another professional company to almost permanently destroy the limestone floors that ran through the entire downstairs of my home and are also the steps going upstairs, I was very diligent in the questions I asked and required a through explanation of what they felt they could accomplish especially because limestone is a very porous natural stone. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Efrain and Atlantis Stone Care. Efrain and his team were professional, on time and corrected what could have been a terrible outcome for my home. This review is a few months overdue. I had gotten 4 other estimates to clean the grout in our kitchen and downstairs bathroom floors and clean and recolor/seal the master bath floor along with cleaning the travertine in our master shower and some areas in the 2 tubs. Estimates varied up to $400 different! Efrain came on time for his estimate, wore his contractors license on his neck and gave me a written estimate. I appreciated his upfront and honesty with these 2 factors esp since a few of the other companies gave me nothing in writing nor offered their license info. Efrain pointed out and I verified that his license is for stone and tile while the one other company that had a valid license was just a "general contractor". We felt reassured that we would be in experienced knowledgeable hands with Atlantis and went with him. The pricing was fair, service was very timely, and the work was done very very well. My stone looks like new and the grout has never been so clean. They showed up on time, were very friendly, and even left us with special cleaning fluid and a brush to maintain the work they had done. I am so happy with my stone floors. My installer who installed the floor used a sealer that made the floor shiny and dirty. It continued to get dirty and yellow. I hated the floor and was sick that I spent so much $$ on this floor. Efrain came in and made my floors brand new. It looks like they were just installed. I wanted the dull look. I love, love my floors. Efrain was very personable and business savvy. Sent me a written bid and another on how to maintain stone. He was on time and very courteous. Price was good too. Efrain knows his flooring stuff! He was able to look at our floors and tell us what the last owner was doing, right and wrong, knew what product they were using and how to match it. We have tons of slate tile that had seriously grimy dark grout and needed some TLC. Efrain and his crew came out on time and worked hard the entire time. He is enthusiastic about his job and aimed to please. I had a ton of questions throughout the job and he answered every one and made sure I understood in layman's terms. The floors look amazing and he even applied a wet coat on top with no extra charge. He even applied silicon around some windows that were just installed at floor level to seal them in. Yes, he sealed the kitchen counters as a bonus. Oh, and he sanded down a tile that wasn't flat and we kept tripping on!
