Johnny and Issac listened to what we wanted, explained what they could do, and made a sample. The difference was huge. Because we were so nervous from all the prior missteps (and being told we had unrealistic expectations), one of us sat and watched the entire process. Johnny is the one with high expectations, starting with 100 grit and ending with 1500 grit and he was facetious with removing all dust before a hardener and seal were applied. Natural Polishing concrete did a great job - when they were finished the countertop looked great! We had a barbecue kitchen island put in about a month and a half ago and were told we needed to wait about 30 days. I reached out to a few companies and Johnny @ natural polishing concrete was quick to respond and reasonably priced. We had some tiles on the top that were blue but after polishing the color was gone. They had tested on some extra tiles to see what would happen but when they got to some tiles it took almost all the color. It still is a great finished product but if you have accent tiles on top you may have to have a certain type of tile where the color can be grinded and polished. Just as an FYI. read more

We've been looking to grind and polish our concrete slab in our 1950s home for over a year. We got a few quotes and Johnny's was the best one. I was glad he was willing to do the job too because many companies avoid residential jobs. We chose to demo the existing flooring and baseboards ourselves to save some money. Johnny was quick to respond on Yelp every time I had a question. We did have to push back the start date by a day because he was finishing up another job but that is expected with contractors. He communicated the change at least a week in advance so it was no big deal. When he arrived on the first day Johnny showed me a few samples which helped me narrow down my choice. He had super cool professional machinery which took the old glue off easily. The vacuum attachment was my favorite part because it kept dust down significantly. The floors turned out beautifully! I appreciate that my wife asked him to go back and hand sand the corners (old glue was left in the corners because their machines are rounded) and Johnny and his colleague did so willingly. I'm extremely happy with the work- I would however encourage them to slow down a bit around cabinetry. Luckily we are refinishing our old cabinets anyways. AMAZING RESULT! Johnny did a great job grinding and polishing my cement slab to give me beautiful concrete floors in my house. I live in Lake Havasu and I thought no way will he drive all this way. As you can see from the before and after pictures, they had quite a job in front of them. My garage floor was a mess - an ancient layer of red stained concrete overlaid the old concrete floor underneath. As you can see from the obvious "before" picture, the garage floor was gruesome, lots of pitting, oil stains, and rough spots from years of water intrusion as well. Johnny quoted me a super fair price, and stuck to it. I have gotten other quotes & so I know this is by far phenomenal pricing for superior work. Because the job was a little more complicated, it did take an extra day. But as I said, Johnny stuck with the price he originally quoted. And the results are phenomenal! The floor is beautiful! We opted to go with a satin finish vs. the option of a high gloss polish (design aesthetic preference). I also want to complement Jonny for having excellent communication. He always texted me back immediately to answer my many questions. He and his crew showed up on time as promised every day - in fact, they were often a few minutes early! And the work crew he brings to help with the job were fantastic. Extremely respectful, good communication & ultra tidy and clean. The entire work crew was extremely knowledgeable with resurfacing and polishing my old concrete garage floor. In addition to Johnny's professionalism, I also had many courteous, respectful & professional interactions with Eric, who was his lead technician on this project. It's been about two months since Johnny's team polished our bare residential floors, and having lived with it for a bit now, they look great! We did it in 2 phases, and another company based in the OC completed the front half of the house. We did not ask them back due to poor workmanship and overbilling us by 20%. I'm so glad I called Johnny and his team to finish our back half. They arrived promptly everyday, and at the end, cleaned up any trash left behind. They even helped us fix the hallway and bathroom that the old company crudely polished. After the quoted 2 days, Johnny himself came to inspect the work (the other company never came to check on quality). We pointed out some problem areas and places that were missed, and Johnny, without hesitation, scheduled his crew to come back and fix it. His willingness to make us happy customers and his honest pricing is the reason we would recommend NPC. FYI do not put painters tape on your polished floors as there will be a residue you cannot fix. We found that out when we reinstalled the baseboards. If we ever decide to repolish the front half and fix the painters tape mistake, I'll be calling NPC. Shout out to his team member Eric. NPC did a fantastic job, was reasonably priced and detail oriented. I received four quotes to polish 950 sq ft of my concrete floors in my home. Of the four quotes, NPC was the 2nd lowest. The job entailed stripping the existing stain, grinding to 400 grit and polishing. Every room which would be exposed to dust from grinding was sealed with plastic wrap. What I really appreciated was Johnny and his associate (didn't catch his names) took their time to grind the edges close to the baseboards and into the corners. Unprofessional and poor communication. I contacted Johnny to help us in removing tiling and replace with polished concrete at our restaurant. It was a very small project and I was upfront about that during my request since other companies had informed me I would at least need to pay their minimum. I was thrilled when Natural Polishing Concrete said they would take on our project. They do not offer to do baseboard installation, which I thought was odd for a flooring company, but I was fine with and found another contractor willing to do that portion. I asked how long it would take the concrete to set since I needed to coordinate with the baseboard installer and our night crew and Johnny said "Right Away" which I was confused by but figured I would clarify an exact time when we met for installation. We set a day and time to start after we closed for the day and no longer had customers inside. Then Johnny cancelled the day of because he was running behind on another project. I understand this happens with contractors, so okay, it's a pain to have to reschedule with my staff and the other contractor, but okay, we rescheduled for a couple days later. On our rescheduled installation date, Natural Polishing Concrete arrived 10 minutes early. Usually great, but we still had some customers finishing dining. My manager told them to please return after we had closed as they would not be able to start construction until after the customers had left. I arrived 8 minutes after we closed and informed Natural Polishing that I was on site but there were still some customers inside. My manager told me they had said they would be right back so I waited for them to return. 20 minutes after we closed, I told Natural Polishing that all our customers had left and we were ready to start work. Johnny told me he already sent all his workers home. They weren't coming back. Johnny said he really doesn't do small projects anyway. I don't know how I could have made myself more clear that this was a small project that would have to be done after hours, but regardless they seemed unwilling to help at that point. I'll find another company to do this job. read more

We called many places and Johnny came promptly, had a great price, and wasn't afraid to remove the overlay like other companies were. His two guys came promptly at 7am everyday and were respectful, polite, and knew exactly how to do the job right. It took 10 days to remove the bad job and a few days to redo it into the exceptional floors they are today. I beg anyone looking at this business to think long and hard after reading this. I have written a Yelp review maybe twice in ten years, and seemed out legal council once.... and for this scenario. My wife and I hired Johnny to level our floors. He agreed to the scope and price, did half the work, and then acted as if be was done. It was his tactic to get more money out of us. After countless conversations in which he brought my wife to tears (another perk to dealing with this guy... making women cry) we agreed to a higher cost and he finished. The flooring guy who we hired to do the floors questioned his work and showed us how truly uneven they were. Johnny had to come back to repour and re level. Finally, We then Proceeded to lay down our vinyl floors. Not 2 weeks after we were done with the floors did they start yo sink. They ended up using too much water to save cost and we are now facing a situation where we have to redo multiple rooms. Our last quote to remove and redo was $10k. I reached back out to Johnny with no response because he knows what he did. We are finalizing our plan with our lawyer and hopefully he can show up to court. Also in contact with better business and a local news organization to run our story. read more
