AWESOME! If you see this, GO GO GO! This place is legit, and it is very educational and the team is great. The adventure was so exciting and seeing another world and seeing sharks and fish hunting fish was awesome. JJ made the trip funny and the captains were awesome and I really want to go a second time to see what happens next. Don't be scared, the vessel is sound and the way they get you to it is by boat, and when you are boarding the crew is all around you ensuring you are safe. It is a experience unlike any other.

SUPER fun, saw lots of beautiful fish, rays, a shark and many kinds of coral. The captains were really knowledgeable and funny, they played cool music and overall an awesome experience! Highly recommend!!

    Love this tour!

This is a MUST do when visiting Maui Hawaii. This well organized submarine tour is sooo much fun. Yes and well worth the cost. Kids will be amazed. A beautiful boat ride to the loading area is more like a Lahaina site seeing viewing. Staff/Crew are super professional and marine safety knowledgeable. Underwater is just another experience if you love the ocean, beaches and marine life. Side Note: Boarding and off boarding might be a little difficult for seniors and little children. Something to consider but staff crew can advise.

Had a great experience in Atlantis Submarines! A unique way to touch the floor of the ocean at 130 Ft below sea level without scuba diving. While you will definitely see a lot more variety of fish while snorkeling instead, this is still a good experience to see the ship wreck and get to the ocean floor. Reduced a star cause of the price point & number of people in the submarine, you are quite squashed together, but everyone has a window or half a window to themselves for a good view.

The entire experience at Atlantis Submarines was out of this world. Cat, who checked us in, was clear with instructions and full of energy. Randy, our narrator, was funny and a delight. His stories and clever puns made the bottom of the ocean exciting and something to remember. The submarine has extra large portholes that make it extremely easy to see and photograph the scenery. We didn't go during "whale season" but we did see sharks and plenty of colorful fish. We will be back again to see the whales.

What a fun experience!!! We booked our tickets via the adventure & experiences concierge at our resort- the Hyatt. The tour starts off in a boat which ferries you from the pier to the submarine. I thought it was really cool how they gave us an opportunity to watch the submarine surface and we waited a very short time for the previous batch of folks to get off the submarine. The submarine trip was a very interesting 45min, filled with amazing things to see underwater, fun narration of exciting facts and jokes. I thought it was great how every seat in the sub had a cool window to look out from...the kids thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was one of the highlights of their Maui trip. I was a little concerned about seasickness , but I was absolutely fine and did not need any medication. Definitely recommend it as a family friendly adventure!

This was a great experience! To get in a submarine recreationally and checkout the bottom of the ocean without having to train for scuba diving is a great opportunity. The crew had a great sense of humor, and the playlist was spot on! I highly recommend this experience! It's very cool, you get to take so many pictures, and you never know what you'll see down there! We ended up seeing a shark at the bottom of the ocean!

Wonderfully magical experience. Way better than the Finding Nemo ride at Disneyland. Friendly staff and informative guides. You take a 10 minute boat ride from the wharf to the submarine, which gives a beautiful view of the island. The submarine wasn't overly crowded first ride of the day, and we were able to spread out a bit. The sub captain turns it around to make sure both sides can see points of interest, nobody misses out. We saw several resting sharks 10/10

How freaking cool was this experience?! I highly recommend taking this tour on the submarine. The guide was really nice and told dad jokes the entire experience. They're really knowledgeable and the price is well worth the experience! We saw tons of fish, about 8 blacktip reefsharks, several spotted eagle rays, and a really cool sunken ship. The views of Maui were incredible and when else can you go to the bottom of the ocean, 130 ft down?

What a great activity in Maui! First time on a working submarine and it was so fun! Saw a ray, a shark, all kinds of fishes, oh and a sunken ship!!! The staff were all great and friendly and very responsive on emails. Great day!

This was such a fun experience! Our guide Brandon and Captain Ken were so knowledgeable and very funny. We saw a ton of wildlife including a shark, an Eagle Ray, starfish, and a bunch of different species of fish. Brandon told us about each species we saw and was just as excited as we all were. I can't wait to do this again!

You can purchase $100.00 gift cards for about $80.00 each at the Costco in Maui. This will save you some money as these tickets are expensive. We went on a shuttle boat for about 10 minutes from the harbor, then transferred to the submarine for a 45 minute dive. It was fun as we got to see sharks, octopus, coral reefs, and artifacts that the company intentionally placed down there (anchors and a ship wreckage). This was a fun excursion for all ages.

This is right on the cruise terminal port and quite easy to walk to. The check in area is in a hotel called Courtyard King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. I would recommend to check in early as 15 minutes before your tour departs, they guide you to the water shuttle. Once you get on the water shuttle, it takes you to the submarine. You need to be able to climb a ladder to get into the submarine. The space is a little on the tight side and there are no backs to the seats so work on your abs before the trip! The air inside was cool and constantly recirculating so it did not feel stuffy. Everyone gets their own porthole to look into the ocean and there are fish identification cards in front of you. The submarine can get to 100 ft pretty quickly and I was surprised that my ears did not get plugged up. We saw lots of fish that day. Some get really close to the submarine. We even saw a school of fish! My only disappointment is color. At those depths, everything has a blue tinge so sometimes it was hard to identify the fish. She didn't mention tips, but at the end, she got a lot of cash from all of us because she absolutely crushed the tour. My only nits were 1) finding the meeting place was not obvious because it's inside the neighboring hotel-- not sure if we missed those instructions somewhere. And 2) we donked our heads twice when looking out the viewports when we were looking at some fish-- not because the submarine was moving too fast, we just got excited looking at fish hah. The zipline course was closed for the first hour of our visit. The train table had zero trains. The princess play area was nearly empty, with no costumes and very few toys. The play kitchen was missing most of its accessories, with only a couple drawers containing play food, and the SMEG play refrigerator was broken. The overall maintenance was disappointing. Several play areas felt neglected, and some equipment appeared to have been out of service for quite some time rather than temporarily unavailable. The facility simply did not reflect what is advertised online. What frustrated me most was the lack of staff engagement. My child became stuck inside the jungle gym, and when I asked a staff member for help, she looked at me and walked away. Whether it was a language barrier, lack of training, or simply not caring, there was no attempt to assist. There were also strange setup choices that made the experience worse. A speaker for the projector was mounted directly above the play kitchen area, blasting audio into children's ears while they were trying to play there. For nearly $100, I expect a clean, well-maintained facility with functioning attractions, stocked play areas, and staff who are willing to help families. Instead, we found broken equipment, closed attractions, empty play stations, and indifferent customer service. I don't mind paying premium prices for a great experience. I do mind paying premium prices for an experience that feels neglected and significantly different from what is advertised. The biggest disappointment wasn't that one or two things were broken. It was that broken attractions, empty play areas, disengaged staff, and obvious maintenance issues all existed at the same time.

Don't make the mistake we ALMOST made!…read more We arrived at the little shop, got our little free sample, looked through the window at the chocolate making machine, and were about to make our purchases and depart. Then something caught our eye about tastings upstairs. So up we went. Fabulous breezy little open air bar with plenty of seating and a view! A full menu of drinks and nibbles, and a gazillion ways to pair chocolate and alcohol. Our server Carrie was fun and friendly and knowledgable, and took great care of us. Mr. M and I each had a glass of red with our chocolate pairings, and our companions tried the port and liquor pairings. So much fun and so delicious. What a lovely way to spend some time.

We didn't partake in the tour…read moreas we had littles with us under 3 and figured we could at least do the "build your own brownie" for the crew. Well, it would've been fine had our entire table received their order. The brownie was not good. The build your own brownie "experience" was lacking. Only brownie and ice cream was included. At least give a topping included, then up-charge for more. On top of that, the $1.50 for sprinkles was a disgrace when the kid didn't get even $.10 worth. There was a tad confusion around the alcohol as well. Understand there's permit restrictions but it would've been nice to know when placing the order instead of when the drink was delivered. Signage isn't clear either. The "only 21 and over past this point" should have a blurb about no alcohol in the main seating. Oh well, we worked with it. Oh, and the sweat that dripped into the ladies plate who was doing the tasting experience was gross - even she said something and got attitude back from the upstairs hosts. Again, three stars awarded as we didn't really partake in anything outside of the cafe top level. Giving the benefit of the doubt the rest of the experience would've probably been good.
