I really had a lot of fun on this tour. It is a smaller boat without the glass bottom, slide or bbq lunch but if you want all that then your going to pay another 40 bucks per person. I paid 86 per person which included the tour of turtle town/reef, molokini, tax, doc fee, deli sandwich lunch, unlimited sodas, snorkel gear, and cookies for desert. If you want alcohol then gotta pay extra. They also have wetsuits to rent for 10 bucks but really don't need them, jump in, the water is beautiful. The crew was made of 3 local boys including the captain. They were very informative of the rules and had some humor to lighten the hour ride out to the first stop. We went to turtle reef first but they sometimes go to molokini first depending on weather and crowds. I was quite happy my snorkel fit well, usually they don't fit my face and have to just swim without it so the quality of their gear was 5 stars alone. Overall I had a great time and would definitely do it again. Make sure to reapply that sunscreen between stops! read more

Great customer service with Noodle this past week! We booked our snorkel through a 3rd party and all they told us was to go to slip #87. We briskly walked up and down both sides of the harbor looking for the slip#. Since we booked online we didn't even know the boats name. Finally someone told us to go to Frog Boss. But it was too late, Noodle showed us the boat leaving the harbor. We explained our situation and he so kindly called his GM (sorry for the early call Mr. GM). They re-booked us for the next day. So kind! We appreciate the GREAT customer service so much! Mahalo. The snorkel we took on "Mahalo" was awesome. The crew was very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend the snorkel. Great service, good quality and the crew is professional and friendly! One thing to note is that they continually tell you to avoid putting on sun block as it will wash off in the salt water, even if it is waterproof. However, you should always apply it because the sun is deceptively hot even in the wind and water. Had a great time, otherwise! read more

I have to post a most positive review of my experience today on this most excellent snorkeling tour. The tour ran like a well oiled machine, leaving as scheduled and having everyone safely in the water to enjoy the beauty of Molikini and various reefs. The crew was most helpful in getting everyone prepared for a fun snorkeling adventure. People of all ages were accommodated. Even saw three year olds snorkeling. Safety vests and flotation devices were provided for people not fully comfortable in the water. We were able to see variety of fish off the island and came face to face with a huge green turtle on the reef. Staff were able direct passengers to the best sites to see the maximum amount sea life. The food served on board for breakfast and lunch was clean and delicious. Everyone had their hunger from a full morning of swimming satisfied. Final touch passengers shoes were all neatly arranged on land so that we could easily slip them on as we lest the boat. read more

Me & my buddy took a snorkeling cruise with these guys last Sunday using the half-price deal. Nevertheless, we got the full service. The crew was young, but very professional and super friendly. We were served both breakfast (muffins, pastries, and yummy fresh pineapple and melons, plus coffee) and lunch (DIY turkey & ham sandwiches), plus the best 3 dollar Mai Tai's we've tasted. It was a bit unfortunate that the weather didn't play the part, the waves at Molokini were pretty choppy that day, so we had to go to Turtle Town instead. We still had a good hour and a half in the water, saw some cool reefs, plenty of fish, starfish, and a giant turtle. The boat and the gear were both in great condition, and the wetsuits they rent for 5 bucks a pop were totally worth it -the water does get a bit cold if you stay out that long. My experience on on the Frogman II was great! They were easy to find on the dock in Maalea Harbor. I checked in very quickly and signed all of the typical waivers required for any activity that may result in injury. I purposely reserved the half day snorkel to Molokini and Turtle Town in case I got sick and started puking everywhere, but that didn't happen to anyone on our boat, whoo! I forget our captain's name (I think it was Alan?), but he was great! He did all of the safety briefings himself and came over the PA to give us information about the different islands and landmarks we were seeing along the way. I'm a little disappointed in the variety of fish at Molokini, but I can't blame this tour group for that. All of the boats go to the same snorkel sites, so it is what it is. I did see a turtle in turtle town! He was so cute and came right up to the surface to get some air and float with us for a while. The food was good! I'm not sure what everyone is complaining about! When you book your ticket, they clearly state continental breakfast and deli lunch. The coffee was delicious and the spread of muffins and cake was all good. They left the muffins out after our first snorkel stop for us to snack on before turtle town. On the way back from the turtles, they layed out bread, thick sliced turkey and roast beef, american cheese, a variety of condiments, macaroni salad, and some yummy chocolate chip cookies! That is exactly what I expect from "deli lunch". I know everything was fresh because I watched them throw out any scraps left over after we ate it! I highly recommend this boat and this tour! Took the morning snorkel tour today out to molokini and turtle town, AWESOME trip! We were a little wary because it was a good deal, $59/person (all gear included) and all the travel activity people kept pushing the quicksilver tours for $90 saying how much nicer it would be and that the frog man boat was old and had black smog coming out... Totally wasn't the case. We really had a great experience! The crew, as others have said, were great, professional, friendly, and got us out on time. When we arrived, nice fruit platters were out with cut breads and muffins, coffee. They also set out a nice sandwich bar for lunch with mac salad. The crew always offered to serve and refill our soft drinks (which were free), pick up our trash, and gave us great tips for snorkeling and nice background on the places we were visiting to make it meaningful. The boat was clean and had separate men and women bathrooms, trampoline bays in the bow to lay on and sun, floaty noodles and boards for fun and plenty of seating. It was a full boat, at least 30 people, but I never felt crowded in the water when snorkeling, we could always find space. Waters were calm, visibility good, and we saw plenty of everything unique including trumpet fish, parrot fish, snowflake eels, humuhumu, and 3 sea turtles, though I'm not sure that everyone had as much luck with the turtles. Plenty of time in the water at both sites and thought it was a nice touch at the end to have a crew member walk around passing out really good chocolate chip cookies to everyone as we headed back to the harbor! The Fiance and I wanted to do some snorkling while on our Maui Vacation. We knew we wanted to go to Molokini because we heard some wonder things about it. I did a search on the internet and came up with Frogman Charters. I'll admit it, I chose Frogman Charters because it was the cheapest. At about $45 per person for the morning snorkle and that includes Breakfast & Lunch and Soda and Juice, it was too good of a deal to pass up. We booked our spot and made our way to Maalaea Harbor Slip 87 by 6:30AM. One Tip, since there are several other snorkling trips that leave about this time, try to get here a little early so that you can get parking. We got here and they had all my information and just needed to sign the waiver. The staff was cheerful and they take a picture of you (I believe it was $20 if you want to keep it) before you get on board. The boat is an old sailing catamaran outfitted with engines. It's kind of old and cramped but kept up nice. The morning breakfast was a simple breakfast of Muffins, Bagels, Fruit, Juice, and Coffee. Kind of like a Costco run spread. We got sailing to Turtle Town first. As we were going towards Turtle Town we got snorkle gear. The equipment is in good condition. Not too bad and worked well for the trip. They went over the basics and about 30 minutes later we arrived at Turtle Town. We got about an hour swim there. Both the Fiance and I had a good time. Even got to see about 5 turtles and had a close encounter with one as it was swimming towards me. It's illegal to touch them and with my bad knee I was just barely able to get out of the way. Water was pretty visable and a bit on the cold side (it was overcast all day) but not enought to want a wet suit. Next off to Molokini. It took about another 30 minutes to get there. Molokini is an old volcano that sunk and is considered one of the best snorkling spots in the world. The section we went to had about 10 - 12 boats there. So it was pretty crowded already. The water here is also a bit cold, but you should be fine without the wetsuit. There was several fish and the viewing was pretty good. Overall not that bad of snorkling experience. When we got back they already had burgers, chicken, and veggie burgers ready for lunch. If you wnted either Mia Tais or Beer it cost $1. Not to bad considering where we were. It took about another 30 minutes to get back. We were definately one of the slower boats, but that's ok because we were enjoying our lunch and the views. Overall I give Frogman Charters 4 Stars. If you're looking for something more like going through the tunnels of Molokini this might not be the trip for you. If you're a budget shopper like I am, this is definately worth consideration. It gives you a good taste of the area. The Captain and his crew are very helpful and knowledgable about the area. They can give you some of the locals point of view on several things. Just recently came back from a trip to Maui for my cousin's wedding. A group of us decided to do a snorkel trip to Molokini to check out the area. I've been to Molokini before and knew what to expect. We booked an afternoon trip on Frogman II to Molokini. The boat was a catamaran with one deck and two bathrooms down below (one for men and another for women). The staff was nice and friendly, they definitely knew what they were doing. They offered free drinks (self-serve from a soda fountain) and had an option to purchase hot dogs. They did have a hosted bar but was only open for the ride back to the dock. Just like any snorkel excursion, they provided you with fins and snorkel gear if you didn't have any, as well as float belts and noodles. Once in the water, they had a lifeguard on duty to ensure everyone was safe. They had anchored up on the inside of the crater. There were some fish and coral reefs to look at but not very impressive. Since I've been there before, it was not as great as I remembered. I was actually quite bored on the snorkel portion of the trip. It seemed like I was seeing the same single type of fish (black with a white stripe) and not much else in the particular area we were anchored at. What did make the trip worth it was seeing a 2ft small shark swimming along about 10-15ft below the surface along the crater. We had about 45 minutes in the water once we were there. Since it was an afternoon trip, there were less snorkel boats around so we had a rather large area to explore. Frogman Charters would have easily gotten a 4-5 star review from me based on their service and staff but had to give them a 3 due to the lack of things to look at while snorkeling at molokini on our particular excursion. It was about an hour boat ride out to the crater and about an hour and a half on the way back. As far as snorkeling, I would recommend renting some snorkel gear and fins yourself and head out to the makena/wailea area and swim out from the shore to the reefs or swim out from the shore along mile marker 15-16 on hwy 30 and you'd get a better snorkel experience. At both of those locations, we saw numerous large sea turtles which definitely made our day! Overall, Frogman charters was a good company with a good boat and stellar staff but just was disappointed with the snorkeling at Molokini. read more

Took the Frogman 2 tour on Thursday, October 13th - so if you're reading this review for a trip at any other time in the year take that with a grain of salt. Our crew was Captain Ed with crew members Ollie and Ian. We paid about $50 each for two of us after purchasing the trip in a Boss Frog's store, not the listed price of $80 that's on the brochures. We rented snorkel gear from BF's, and they said the discounted rate was because we rented gear, but to be honest you may be able to get the rate without renting gear if you just ask. The trip we took went to two places - Molokini and "Turtle Town." Crew - the crew was awesome. Personable, knowledgeable, funny, nice, etc etc. Gave tips on where to snorkel on other days, warned us about big waves coming in, and just in general added to the overall experience. Molokini - Here's what I'd suggest about Molokini - go in with an open mind. No doubt you've heard stories or seen pictures of thousands of fish and rainbow coral, etc. Unless you're here on a perfect day, you may not get that. What we got was crystal clear water, about a dozen or so varieties of fish, ample opportunities for underwater pictures, and a fun time. "Turtle Town" - I put this in quotes because the location of Turtle Town varies depending on which charter company you ask. All I can say is we anchored, they let us in, and within about 2 minutes I had a turtle swimming about 3 feet from me. Overall after about 30 minutes in the water my wife and I saw 4 turtles, each of them swam very close to us, and then on the way out we saw one more. Sure, you aren't surrounded by turtles (at least we weren't on this day), but they're there. I will also say that this can be hit and miss - the couple we were sitting next to on the boat said they didn't see any turtles that day, but they were snorkeling in a different spot that us. Food - This is the main reason they get 4 stars instead of 5. They put the lunch out on the way to Turtle Town, and by the time we ate (after snorkeling at TT) the cold cuts weren't so cold anymore and everything had been picked over quite a bit. A small point of contention, sure, but enough to knock it down a star. Gear - They provide snorkels and fins, pretty much the same gear as they rent in their stores. If you are an expert and want your own gear, definitely bring it. They will try to sell you a wetsuit rental for $10 - in October, we didn't need it. The water was chilly for about a second, then super warm. They do say they offer a refund if you don't need the wetsuit, but unless you're super sensitive to the water, you probably won't in October. They also offer a rental of an underwater digital camera for $30 for the trip. Trip itself - Captain Ed said we picked one of the best days of the year to take the trip - I'm not sure if he says that to everyone, but it sure seemed like it was one of the best days. Very little motion to the boat, visibility of over 50 miles (we could see the outline of the Big Island on the way to TT), and only for the last 20 minutes of the trip did we get any choppy seas. Overall - lots of fun, saw some awesome things, great crew, and a great value. Highly recommended! read more

Went on this tour with the hubby a couple of weeks ago. We got the hook through boss frog. Not only did we get an awesome deal through boss frog to rent our snorkel gear (2 for 1 so only $9 for the whole week of pure awesomeness), we just had to pay $18 for the both of us to go on this snorkel tour. The ride was awesome and comfy. Ryan and the staff were all very awesome, funny, and helpful. They also make awesome drinks at the end..be sure to get a mai tai and that 7up rum drink thingy. read more

I have to say, worst experience of the vacation. Booked online (that was easy) for 5 passengers. Then had to drive to one of the Boss Frog stores to pick up the tickets. The day of the trip I drove 45 minutes to get to the dock only to be told that they only had reservations for 3. Despite the fact I had made the reservations for 5, and had the receipt showing I PAID for 5, they could care less, the guy at the dock kept saying "that's your problem" over and over. Best word to describe him would be a**hole. Since I had 3 children, I couldn't leave anyone on the dock and the boat was filled to capacity, so we left to go back to the store where we picked up the ticket to try and get a refund. While the manager in the store was sympathetic, it took a half hour for him to approve a refund since they have a "no refund" policy. Again, despite the fact I paid for 5 and it was their mistake to only book 3. Finally I was told I would get a credit but it would take 5 - 7 days. I asked if there was anything else they could get us on that afternoon since we were leaving the next day, but it was too late in the day. Worst part is we waited ALL week to see the whales and this happened. I guess my thoughts are to make sure you confirm despite what your receipt says.. and if I ever met up with the guy that turned us away at the dock.. well let's just say it wouldn't be pretty. UPDATE: I was contacted by Kelly from Boss Frogs almost immediately after I posted this review. While there was nothing she could really do for me since vacation is over, I'm home and no foreseeable plans to return to the islands, she did assure me that they would look into what happened with the reservation snafu, and told me that they would take actions on the employee who I dealt with at the dock. While my experience deserves the 1 star, I would give Kelly 5 stars for her prompt contact and concern. read more

I was pretty unhappy with this tour soon after arriving at the harbor. Frogman II is a very large boat and they pack it to the gills for their tours. First there is the lovely and impersonal process of signing away your life and then standing in line to check in. The crew was not all that friendly and did not really make any effort throughout the trip to engage any of us on the trip. I would highly recommend that you do a little bit more research and find a smaller boat to get better and more interesting guides who actually guide you (AKA actually talk to you during the 5 hour trip or maybe tell you something about the ref or fish). If you just want a cheap ride out to Molokini, then I guess this trip is for you, but if you are looking for some actual entertainment and/or engagement, I would look elsewhere. There was nothing special about this "tour" and I would not ever recommend this trip to a single person. I felt like herded cattle packed onto a boat with not a single extra seat and no social atmosphere. The only positive is that they used a tip jar instead of hand to hand tipping, so I didn't have to feel bad at all when I did not tip a dime. They deserved nothing because there was not an ounce of service on this trip. Total fail. read more

I am basing this review on the Frogman Charters WHALE WATCHING TOUR ONLY. My family and I have been on the Frogman Charters twice. Both trips were for whale watching tours. Growing up on the island, we're fortunate to be able to see whales quite often from the shore. However, we wanted to try something different and decided to go whale watching on a boat. We weren't looking to be pampered so we decided to go with the cheapest boat we could find. After some searching, we found the Frogman. They depart out of Ma'alaea Harbor which is about 20 minutes from Kihei, 30 minutes from Wailea, and about 45 minutes from Lahaina. There's a tiny parking in the area but you may have to do some walking if you're not there early. The staff on the Frogman is great. Everyone is very helpful and ready to tend to the guests. However, other than the staff, I don't think there's any other positive aspect about the boat. The worst thing about this tour in my opinion is the boat's seating configuration. First of all, they cram the boat to its capacity, if not over. There doesn't seem to be enough seats as well. If you're traveling with a family, and you don't get there early, odds are you won't be sitting together. The seating at the front of the boat is horrendous. There are 2 benches, one on each side of the boat that seats 6-8 passengers. Because these benches face the middle of the boat, you'll have to rubberneck it the whole time if not turn around and put your knees on the benches. It can be a bit difficult when you're bumping legs with the person next to you. There are also 2 small benches, again one on each side that faces the front of the boat. This is where we chose to sit. You can also sit on the ground if you choose to. These aren't seats per se but it's still comfortable. The downside though is that if you want to sit at the very front of the boat on the ground, you'll have to wait until the boat gets out of dock. Because a lot of people want to sit there (especially kids), getting that spot can be a bit of a dogfight. The seating at the back of the boat I think is no different. It doesn't have the same type of configuration but the seats there are still scarce. When it came down to the whale watching part of the trip, I really believe both trips could have been a whole lot better. When we first chose our seats, we thought they'd be good because we'd see over everyone sitting on the ground and we didn't have to battle other passengers to get a picture. We were so far from being correct. First of all, anytime there was a whale, the passengers would see it before the boat captain. Finally, when the boat captain would go on their PA system and announce it, the volume is turned down so low that you don't hear anything he's saying. And to top it off the annoyance continues because when there were whales, the boat always seemed to turn right so the passengers on the left got the best photo ops. Even if the whales were on the right side of the boat, the captain would cater more to the passengers on the left. The first few times, were questionable, but after having that happen EVERY SINGLE TIME, I thought it was straight ridiculous. There still is, however, one portion of the Frogman Charter that I found to be even more annoying. There's also an upper deck to the boat that would make for great view and more room for passengers. With the boat being as crammed as it is, the Frogman for whatever reason doesn't allow anyone to be up there. I asked on our second trip if we could go up thee and they said only their photographer is allowed. They didn't say much more than that but you could see the let down on everyone's faces. It was really disappointing. Though the Frogman Charters is one of the "cheaper" boats, you can still find boats for similar prices that offer a lot more. At the hotel that I work at, when people ask me for my opinion, I always tell them to steer clear of this boat. I advise the same to you as well. read more

Boss frogs is the only place we went to rent snorkel gear for our trip on Maui. All of the employees were extremely helpful and knowledgable. We booked our snorkeling trip out to molokoni and turtle town with them as well. I shopped around and I believe this is the cheapest boat to molokoni and turtle town out of all the other boats. This is about $80 a person where's the other are $115-$130 and higher. Boss frogs also doesn't carry as many people as the other big boats so it's not as crowded. 6:15am check in at dock leave around 7am and get to molokoni at 8am, snorkel till 9 then head to turtle town for another hour of snorkeling. After turtle town they serve deli sandwich lunch and open the bar with $3 beers and mix drinks which isn't bad at all. Good snorkel trip! read more

I took my side of the family on the Molokini/Turtle Town trip as a last hoorah two days before I got married. I think it's a solid three stars. Here's what I've got: The good: Friendly, knowledgeable staff, plentiful food, nice boat with myriad seating options. The bad: While the boat didn't seem to be over capacity, I would have paid more money to have been on a tour with less people. When we were out snorkeling, we were running into each other like crazy. I kicked someone in the throat Liam Neeson style. Sorry, guy! The ugly: Unfortunately for everyone, the weather wasn't working with us. We snorkeled for maybe 20 minutes to a half hour at Molokini, and had to get out of the water. We couldn't get in again and had to skip Turtle Town. I think the staff did everything they could to make up for this by offering us a free drink and telling us about the area. Unfortunately, it became more of a TMZ booze cruise. At least half of the members of my family were sea sick (even after dramamine and copious amounts of free ginger ale). Ultimately, I think this company did everything it could given the circumstances. I do think, however, that some tweaking could be done surrounding the number of people booked on trips and what happens if the weather isn't great. It seems like in bad weather, they just default to driving you around until your time is up (without telling you that that's what they're doing). Being completely fair, I'm not sure what I'm expecting here. I would have been fine going back without a refund after getting out of the water at Molokini, but maybe that wasn't the case for everyone. read more

AWESOME trip to Molokini and Turtle Town! We went into the local Boss Frogs to rent snorkel equipment for our week long stay on Maui. SCOTT was a huge help in pulling out the map and showing us some great local places to snorkel right off the beach. We saw an in store ad for the Molokini trip, asked about it and Scott told us about their Frogman charter out to the spot and the discount he could offer since we just rented our stuff for the week there. We had an absolute blast! ADAM and ADRIANA were our crew members, ALAN was our humorous good natured captain and we had an outstanding morning out on the water. Pasteries, fruit and coffee on the way out; sandwiches, macaroni salad and cookies for lunch on the way back, BUT COME ON! You aren't going out on a snorkel trip for the food! I had one of the best days of my life snorkeling on The Malolo with Captain Jordan, Ryan and Branden. The captain was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Jordan and Ryan were awesome and fun. They even caught two mahi mahi off the back of the boat -- so much fun to watch! We got lucky with the weather -- Molokini was pretty calm, and I saw plenty of fish and a couple of small sharks. Turtle Town was fun, too. Saw a huge turtle there, surgeon fish, and a ton of others. I can't recommend this tour highly enough. The crew was awesome! read more

Took this charter with the wife to try something new. As stated by other reviews, they do try and upgrade you against your will at times, but that is understandable by a sales perspective. We originally went into Boss Frogs to rent some snorkel gear for the week based on a coupon we found in one of the many brochures you can get. The coupon was for a buy one get one free snorkel set for $9. When you get there, they try and sell you a more professional set for $25. I told them we wanted the basic $9 set and she still rung me up for the $25 set. Then they try and sell you underwater cameras and misc. accessories.. I just want the snorkel gear for crying out loud. Anyway, so we ended up getting the half day charter to Molokini and turtle bay, which was ok because we wanted to experience different snorkeling outside of just going to the beach... The boat was clean and the crew was very nice and easy going. It also included a small breakfast which consisted of some fruit, muffins and all the soda/water/juice you wanted. The boat ride to Molokini was about an hour and being that we were there during humpback season, we got the extra experience of seeing whales on the way there. The snorkeling itself was pretty basic. We dove in and swam around. They constantly told us not to touch anything as it is a wildlife sanctuary protected by the government. We didnt really see anything that was awe-inspiring. So we got back on the boat and headed to our second stop which was turtle bay. There we saw 2 large sea turtles and could even hear the humpback whales communicating with eachother. When we got done with Turtle Bay, they served us a deli style lunch consisting of sandwiches and macaroni salad. All in all, it was a good experience. read more

After reading about Molokini I had to see it. Booked this tour and was incredibly impressed with everything it offered for the price we paid. The staff was awesome! Friendly, knowledgeable, and great with everyone on board. The captain kept the trip entertaining and the staff kept us laughing from start to finish. This size boat is perfect. Leaves the harbor before most of the other tours so you have an opportunity to get in the water before all the other boats. Small enough that you don't have to wait for several others and can interact personally with the staff and big enough you feel safe on the boat. Food was fresh and delicious! Breakfast is simple. Fruit and muffins and lunch is cold cut sandwiches, homemade macaroni salad and fresh cookies. Perfect for a day on the water. We made it to turtle town also! About an hour in the water at each stop. On the way back we caught site of whales and the captain stopped so we could watch them. What an amazing day. Book a trip on Frogman in Maui. It's a must do!! read more

Crew was not on point to take safe care of the passengers on this boat, now called Malalo. I'm still recovering from the really bad experience of a rough trip. Went to emergency room after our ride. Really not worth it and only posting so others don't make the same mistake. Would not recommend. Please do not bring kids or anyone you care about on this boat. Great trip, waves were pretty choppy but crew was helpful and food was good.

The boat was nice and crew was knowledgable. Some crew members more friendly than others. We were talked into this trip by the lady at boss frogs. She said it was basically "free" because we were booking so many excursions and did get roped into the time share nonsense. The "free" trip ended up costing us $80.00 because we added on the $5 lunch. The microwaved hotdog on a stale roll was not what I was hoping for. I would skip this trip and stay on land and snorkel at Ulua in Wailea. read more

We did the Molokini and turtle town snorkel trip on the frogman II in the morning. I thought it was terrible, Boss Frogs packs as many people as they can on a tight boat. It was the last boat to leave the harbour so it was the last boat to get to Molokini meaning we got the worst snorkel spot. The boat isn't friendly to rougher weather. We spent more time in the boat than we did in the water. After a hour trip to Molokini and 45 min of snorkeling they took us to Turtle town were they couldn't get the ancor to stay at one site and then tried somewhere else and we hardly saw a fish let alone a turtle and were only there for 20 mins. read more

We had an outstanding snorkel tour in Jan 2012. We went to the Turtle area first, then Molokini which allowed us to miss some serious crowds. Then we got surrounded by humpback whales on the way back so it turned into quite the whalewatching cruise by accident! It was fantastic, food was pretty good, captain and crew were super nice and fun. Loved it! read more

Please be very careful if you decide to take a trip on Frogman. This was a total con. We rented snorkel equipment from Boss Frogs which was a bait and switch. They advertise one price like $14 per week, then when you go in, the price almost doubles. Of course you want the dry snorkel. Then they pressure you into buying their tour boat Frogman II. Of course it is almost sold out so you have to do it now. This was a total bait and switch as well. We paid $59 each, even for our child. It was supposed to be a 2 stop snorkel trip to Molokini and Turtle town starting at 7:30Am and Returning at 12:45. Well, then they tell us its One Stop Sunday. The breakfast isn't breakfast at all its just mini muffins and limited fruit. They took us out to Molokini, which was amazing. I would highly recommend going there. You can see tons of beautiful coral and fish, that swim with you. You get about an hour of snorkeling. Then they call you in for lunch which is bread, cold cuts and macaroni salad. They also pass out cookies after. I like the crew we had. They were pleasant and fun to be with. Then the worst part. To use up the extra time that they took away, not going to turtle town - which by the way doesn't exhist. They drive you up the coast for 2 hours in waves, splashing and bumping. I couldn't wait to get back to the harbor. Take my advice and buy the book Maui Revealed, and take advise given by Andrew Doughty. I have found it to be very accurate. read more

We booked the Molokini snorkel adventure last minute but sadly, wifey got sick and couldn't make the trip. So can't tell you how the trip was BUT what I can say is the staff is absolutely amazing! Completely understanding of my situation and went above and beyond my expectations to ensure that I felt the true meaning of aloha! We had came to choose the Frogman because if their excellent value $80 per person and includes both Molokini AND Turtle Bay with breakfast and lunch! Takes off and returns about an hour earlier than most other charters leaving half the day to take in more of Maui heaven! After dealing with Noi, Tara, and the manager Kether I can only assume the actual trip would be a truly breathtaking experience. I can't wait until next year when we return so the first thing we do is call Frogman to book with this awesome staff! I have been been coming to the islands of Hawaii since I was a child and have to say never have I felt more cared about and appreciated until now after dealing with Kether! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! read more
