I've been to Atlas twice. One was B.Y. (before Yelp), but lucky for you, I did review it on Google Maps, so my original review is below. I had rated it 5 stars, but now changing to 4 stars. Updated (4/2021): We had reservations for 2 at 7:30 pm on a Saturday night. Waiters were wearing masks and gloves. Masks are required when not at your table. It's dark inside, definitely sets the mood. Some people were wearing suit jackets, but there were others in jeans. Basically, you can make it as fancy as you want. Service: Both times, service has been on point. They're so attentive. There is literally a person who just brings you fancy knives. Drinks: Holy Smokes (x2), Toasted Sidecar, The Elephant and the Dove (I recommend asking for a straw because of the nugget ice), and The Nighthawk (all $16). We liked all of them. It's fun that before the appetizers and after dessert, they bring you little bites from the chef. I couldn't understand all the fancy things they were saying, but they were good. Get all the types of bread they bring to try all of them! The bread is super good. Food changes seasonally, so it's very likely they won't be offering this same menu when you go. But anyway, food: - Oyster ($19): Medium-sized; nothing out of this world - Hamachi Crudo Avocado ($28): Very good - White Asparagus ($35): Apparently, the white asparagus is overnighted from France; the sauce was really delicious, but it could have also been over normal asparagus and would've been just as good - Calotte Steak ($85): Super good; the sauce was fantastic - Milk Fed Lamb Rack ($55): Once again, the sauce made the dish - Hazelnut Chocolate Sphere ($18): Cool presentation, but it was just eh - Peanut Butter Composition ($18): The peanut butter ice cream was heaven Overall, it just wasn't as good as last time. It's still a fun experience and a nice outing to get dressed up for. Original (4/2018): Best meal I've ever had. Even the bread was outstanding--sourdough, soft pretzel, and cheddar, with locally made butter. Drinks: Cocktail a la Louisiane, Bees & Berries, Totleigh Towers. Appetizers: Truffle Potato Pierogi Dumplings, Black Truffle & Mushroom Agnolotti. Entrees: Atlas Steak (Black Angus Filet), Hazelnut Sweet Potato Ravioli with Brussels Sprouts. I really enjoyed my sole entree as I don't normally order seafood but wanted something lighter than meat or pasta. And to top it off, they surprised us with two dessert courses! Dropped by NYE with some friends while we were early for a dinner reservation. The hostess let us sit at the bar and get some drinks. A few of us ordered the Jardin des Rosa which was SO good. A very sweet syrupy flavor with a rose petal on top. Probably one of the most delicious cocktails I've had. The inside decor was also so warm and cozy like a luxurious library. Why did this place only get one star? As someone who has been to quite a few establishments, it feels like Atlas was denied that second star, it's truly that good. Every box was checked here, a thoughtful drink menu. Excellent service. All the bread you can handle (not that you'll need it, I was absolutely stuffed). A gratis birthday cake and of course, the food, which was excellent. We did their 10 course tasting menu and were treated to an amazing amuse bouche... course? I can't describe it any other way as it had 4 items on it! Playful takes on British cookies, and three other little snacks that were the perfect opening and set the tone of Earthiness for the evening. Shout out to the mushroom consume served in a small glass (it was like... clear mushroom soup?) it was there to be the pallet cleanser and honestly it was so much better than the typical "here's something mega fruity" offering. Many courses had either truffle or another form of mushroom infused pour over. The big proteins (Turbot, Squab) were both impeccable and were paired with an assortment of classy root vegetables and included a, some might say, elaborate/slightly off putting head to tail presentation! Our deserts had both a citrus and chocolate offering, which to me always caps off an evening. Service was impeccable, with never an empty glass and always a question if a course wasn't complete. Only complaint, and it's minor, was that the seating was against the wall, so there was a lot of reach overs, this isn't really all that problematic, and they had a very clever way of place setting that allowed them to get cutlery in place in a reasonable order. I'm a relatively frequent cocktail consumer at the bar - finally decided to arrange for a proper meal after witnessing gorgeous plates sitting on nearby tables during every visit. The staff is a massive differentiator from other fine dining. Every interaction you have from your first step inside will demonstrate that management has invested a great deal of effort into assembling a lovely, professional and exceedingly knowledgable team that is eager to create a memorable experience. Our server (I believe his name was Chris) detailed every menu selection we were interested in with ease. Our only regret was that we failed to arrive hungrier! The miniature starters were a treat, and nearly too beautiful to eat. Foie gras between thin crackers, a bite of gazpacho, and a crunchy octopus shaped puff with a dipping sauce that leaves you awe struck. The seafood tower was one of, if not the best, I've ever had. I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars. To start, the decor is beautiful and feels very luxurious. The bar is warm and inviting and the cocktails were really well done. The old fashioned (not even the smoked variety on the menu) was one of the best we have had in recent memory. The seafood tower was plentiful and delicious. The crab was my personal favorite. We did four courses, starting with the beef tartare, then the ravioli, I had the fish and my husband had the wagyu, and then we got the rocher and the crème brûlée. The tartare was tasty but not outstanding, though it was the single largest dish of the evening. The ravioli was probably my favorite savory dish. The fish was solid and I really enjoyed the shellfish sauce but I wasn't knocked out. The wagyu was delicious and perfectly done, but was an exceptionally small portion. The desserts were both excellent. The service started out incredible but the level fell off a bit as dinner went on. Overall it was an enjoyable experience but not what I would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. It's probably not worth the price tag to most. read more

It's outrageously snobbish, with enough attitude to turn your stomach even before you sit at the bar. The sniffy maître d borders on the obnoxious. But this jives with everything about the St. Regis Hotel, where the service is beyond abysmal in beautiful surroundings - although the Atlas restaurant is a separate venture. Once seated, things pick up a little. My first time here got off to a bad start when the bartender served me a $39 glass of French wine without first telling me how much it cost. I eventually got it taken off the bill, but wow! This time, I made sure how much everything cost and spent a fortune, but at least I knew what I was spending my money on. Again, I commenced with a slightly less expensive Chablis, which hit the spot. The two gentlemen behind the bar, all in black, are more welcoming than those at the door and knowledgeable about food and wine. I started with a delicious salad, which could have been a meal. It was so tasty and inventive that I was hugging myself with satisfaction. Satiated, I should have stopped there, but I ordered the $90 turbot fish, which was barely present and just OK. The coffee was good. What can I say? Like many high-end restaurants, this place leaves a lot to be desired. When it delivers, it delivers. But it fails to deliver in so many ways. I will return for one last try before returning to LA in July. My advice is that if you are in this area, go to Lucian's across the street. It's very expensive but has better food and service. Me and my girlfriend popped here in, after a very disappointing 5 minutes at Garden Room. We had just finished dinner at Umi, so we wanted to go somewhere after for post-dinner drinks. We tried to get a spot at Garden Room, but it was packed. So we opted to check out Atlas, and it's a good thing we did. We had a great time. The two of us sat at the bar for the duration of our time there, we stayed for about 2 hours. We were greeted by the bartender, Alana. She did an excellent job at taking care of me and my girlfriend. She even did so much as to creating a drink for me (that wasn't on the menu), based on flavor profiles that I liked. The drink was so good. We ordered some drinks off the menu as well. My girlfriend got the Jardin Des Rosa and I can't remember which one I got. Alana also gave us 2 complimentary glasses of champagne, which was such a nice touch. I would definitely recommend going when she's working. She's friendly and knowledgeable. Atlas is a great place to visit for a more upscale/classy feel. It can be good for small groups, but I recommend going with your significant other, as it's a much more intimate setting. They do have a full food menu as well, but we just came for drinks. Also, it is quite dark in there, not that it's a bad thing, but definitely just keep that in mind. Also this place is pretty expensive, so definitely keep that in mind as well before you come. I give Atlas three stars. I think it's A-OK. This restaurant is not bad by any means - it's good - but among high-dollar, fine dining establishments in Atlanta, I think your hard-earned money is better spent elsewhere. We did thoroughly enjoy our experience here though. Atlas opened January 26, 2015 inside the St. Regis hotel in Buckhead. You can self-park in the nearby deck or use the St. Regis valet. If you valet, the restaurant can validate (stamp) your parking. However, we still had to pay $12 plus tip for valet even after validation. If you valet and enter the hotel through the main entrance, Atlas is located on the second floor to the left. The restaurant space is beautiful. Elegant, sophisticated, high class, white tablecloth. It's got an old school, old money vibe but with a modern flair. Books line the shelves and strange artwork, which you can purchase, adorn the walls. Open for dinner only, during our visit, there was live music and a formal, candlelit ambiance. They do have a dress code, but I'm not sure how strictly it's enforced. Shorts, sandals, sleeveless shirts, and hats aren't allowed. Jeans are, but not if they have rips. Service was excellent. Staff are dressed formally. There's a sommelier, bread server, and more. Everyone worked well together. Typical of fancy restaurants, courses were served in unison to our table of eight. Our primary server was Maxwell and our sommelier was Brett. Everyone was polite and professional. When we were seated, the hostess asked my wife if she'd prefer dark linens instead of the default light linens because she was wearing dark clothing; observant and considerate. The restaurant serves New American, seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine. The abbreviated food menu changes daily. During our visit, they sold caviar from Uruguay and Russia for $150-175 per 28 grams and a caviar tasting flight for $165. Black truffle ($50 for 5 grams) and drink pairings optional. There were six starters priced at $16-38 each and six main courses priced at $28-58 each with sides for the table at $12 each. Five desserts were priced at $9-20 each. The drink menu was extensive. A couple big ticket items included a $400 cocktail (Legendary Sidecar) and some bottles of Northern Rhone Jean-Louis Chave red wine for $5,000 or $6,000 each. Don't worry, they have affordable drinks too like the $25 glass of Von Strasser Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon that my wife got. Each was served in a tiny glass bowl with intricate detail. They looked like little terrariums, definitely requiring a precise and delicate touch. The potato dumpling was OK. All the breads with butter were delicious. Each type was fresh, warm, and soft. My favorite was the flavorful and airy Gruyere roll. The beet salad looked like a little fantasy world, full of different flavors and textures. The agnolotti and scallops were fantastic and I highly recommend both if they're on the menu during your visit. The quality of the scallops was pretty much perfect. As for the mains, the filet was the best of the bunch. Thick, lean, tender, hearty, great quality. The striped bass was a bit too heavy on the beets while the venison could have been tastier and less chewy. The venison accoutrements could've been better too (portions, variety). Sizable portions on the meat. The venison came with a savory, foamy venison stew which was fantastic. I actually preferred it to the chops. Citrus from the Farm tasted like an Orange Dreamsicle. Came here on a Tuesday night with a group of 5 for the tasting menu right after their Michelin win. I had been here shortly after they opened and loved it. This time, I had high expectations, and they just weren't met. I just moved from Chicago and have been to most of the Michelin restaurants there, and Atlas only had a few elements that even came close. The snacks before dinner were creative and tasty. The caviar course was divine. Everything else was pretty standard steakhouse food. The Ferrero Rocher dessert, while delicious, was not creative at all and is frankly a gimmick. The service was friendly and insightful, but this was the longest dinner of my life, prob close to 4h. At other Michelin restaurants I've been to, they watch for everyone at the table to finish the course and immediately bring out the next one. We had long gaps between courses that if I had been there with less entertaining people, would have been painful. I'm giving Atlas 4 stars bc the food was really tasty and the restaurant is beautiful. I think I may have made a mistake in getting the tasting menu so I will be back for the regular menu at some point. read more

Atlas is located in the St. Regis hotel and offers a moody, swanky ambiance perfect for date night. We came in for post-dinner drinks and the hostess seated us at a table in the bar area. The decor and bookshelves makes one feel like they are in a high-end library. The waitress greeted us with waters and we ordered off an iPad that had 40 pages of wine and cocktails (mostly wine). The cocktail selection was merely half a page and not as vast. I decided on the South of Sweden which was tasty but not particularly strong. My friend had the Letters to Monica and enjoyed it. Overall, great spot for cocktails or date night drinks. read more

I took a friend who's a world traveler and has dined at several Michelin Star restaurants and he was super impressed by everything. The staff was so wonderful that they were able to hold us two bar seats at the Garden Room so my friend could enjoy another one of the best spots in Atlanta. I will definitely be back to Atlas again...very soon. We did the ala carte menu and everything was absolutely perfect. 1, Recently ate at two Parisian, Paris, 1-Star Michelin restaurants this year. Ducasse and Joel Rubochon. Atlas is also 1-Star. 2. Service Comparison. Requested romantic, quiet, table. Never offered, nor mentioned. Our table was neither. Waiter was nonchalant, disinterested, but started attentive. 3. Service started very good, not quite a Parisian - Ducasse/Robuchon level, but better than 95% of ATL places. We had an earlier Resv. time. 4. Ambience was odd. "Bang-A-Gong, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, played loudly, "Huh? here? That's so out of place." 5. Place stated to fill up and the Waiter disappeared. Water, Bread, etc was never attended too. At the very end of the meal, another server asked if we wanted more bread (as he cleaned off the table). Huh? I said 30 minutes ago and it would have been great. I hate to leave great sauce behind. 6. The food. most of the offerings were 1-Star Ducasse/Robuchon level. 7. Presentation was weird. Sole for two, was brought out in a copper sauce pan. But no spatula type device to move it to your plate. Only our forks. Weird! 8. Presentation would be made with some fast utterings at to what it was. "What did he say?" 9/ Got the Bill and it listed: "Special event cake" at $0.00. Ok, but what cake is that? Waved down somebody who wasn't our waiter, he had disappeared but was pretty worthless anyhow,. "I showed it to the "waiter" and asked what is this? " "Do you have a special occasion?" "Yes, we do, but never saw this cake." 5 minutes later, and our worthless waiter, sets it on the table. Ok, now we know! So, Atlas can be one of the best in ATL, but it needs a strict disciplinarian in charge. A Hire/Fire if you don't cut it type person. 1-Star Michelin? No, not there. The moment you walk into the St. Regis, you're greeted with a towering chandelier and sweeping staircase leading you to a dimly lit library with a sprawling illuminated bar and intimate tables filled with couples and friends smiling over delicious dishes. At Atlas, there are three words to describe it: impeccable, perfection, opulent. This does not only describe the ambiance, but some of the best food in all of Atlanta. The night we went was during the Four Hands collaboration 7-course tasting menu that married the genius of Chef Money and Chef Paul Liebrandt, the guest chef, in one miraculous meal. It's a culinary masterpiece with the beautiful plating, scrumptious tastes, wonderful wine pairings, and the best white-glove service. This is definitely one to remember and we want to share the details with you. When you arrive and sit down at your table, they immediately send over treats before you get your meal, like the Foie Gras Bon Bon, the "Cloud", Puff Pastry, and Liquid Olive. Being about one bite each, the perfect little tastes are packed with flavors like the foie gras is rich and meaty, the cloud is earthy and literally melts in your mouth, while the puff pastry is dill forward and crispy, and the liquid olive was smooth with a little bit of olive on the end. We think the cloud was the best with the balance of cheese and beet flavor and were very impressed with the liquid olive, not too strong. The first course is the Golden Caviar. Starting out, they place the caviar from their exclusive collection on the trout and accompany it with a tuna belly and a fantastic aioli. The caviar itself is a wonderful mix of saltiness and slight fish that accompanies that perfect pop. Underneath is the light, silky trout and juxtaposes the earthy micro greens. On the side, the crispy lightly fried tuna belly is perfection with a tasty creamy and earthy aioli for dipping. This course (and the next two) was paired with a delicate Rose champagne that is light and crisp to go with the lightness of the fish and caviar. On to the second course, we got the Beets, which were paired with preserved plums and soft goat cheese. On top, the earthy and tangy beets are frozen in a ball then below is a moat of cheese, plums, and roasted beets that you can mix up together to get an amazing earthy, creamy, tangy bite. This one was so much fun to eat, a real treat. Just behind this course, was the Scallops, but we opted for the Hamachi Crudo instead since we don't eat shellfish. The presentation on this one was the absolute best of the entire meal. Served on a hand plate, it felt "hand delivered" to you! The fish is served raw but is so tender, it literally melts in your mouth and goes flawlessly with the creamy avocado, bright citrus vinaigrette, and amazing cold cilantro jalapeno sauce. In love with all the flavors creamy, earthy, spicy, bright, and add the crunchy beet flakes for one of the best bites of the night. Moving on the fourth course where we got to pair a perfect poached cod and a bright Chablis. One of the best poached cods we've ever had, it was fall-apart tender. It's light and mellow and pairs so well with the multiple forms of grapes that accompany this dish. The sweet and tart of the grape gives this little number an earthy and tart with a slightly salty end. The Chablis on the other hand was acidic that juxtaposed the sweet and salty of the dish. Just perfect. When you didn't think it couldn't get any better, course five knocked it out of the park with the Westholme Wagyu. Buttery, slightly charred, and melt-in-your mouth wagyu that was too tender and delicious to even use the Italian knife they let us pick out. Topped with a candied fig that gives the meat a sweet, brown sugar, earthy, and tart bite on top of the already perfectly cooked wagyu. On the opposite end of the plate is a too beautiful to eat flower and gelatin concoction. It adds the right amount of creaminess. Overall, when you mix all the flavors together you get a creamy, rich, sweet, salty and a myriad of other flavors that let's you know this IS the dish to remember. Paired with a heavy Cabernet is just right. On to the dessert portion, they brought out course six, the Green Apple palate cleanser. They pour a citrus green apple sauce over this frozen, green apple treat for a boost of brightness. The entire dish is earthy and crisp with a complex mix of tartness and nuttiness from the pistachios, granola, diced apples, and mandarin. Then, for the finale, the Vol Au Vent is a decadent, crispy, bold bite. With layers of flaky pastry and bold caramel and apple flavor all around. Then, on the side, a rare dessert wine ice cream is boozy and sweet that goes well with the bold apple and caramel flavors. What an incredible culinary experience. The service was excellent, and the food was even better. We sat in a corner booth, which was perfect for privacy. My husband had an incredible time for his birthday. The decor is very cigar lounge, old American, mid century feel. Everyone who works here is so kind. I think every single person we encountered said hello. The flavors were divine. Everything is well thought of... flavors blending with each other. My husband and I have been dining at Atlas for 5 years and have always had a wonderful experience. We did the chef's tasting menu and every course was delicious. Amuse/Snacks- These included tomato meringues that tasted like pizza. Foie Gras sandwich cookies, a bon bon with sturgeon, a veggie cracker with chive butter, and a mushroom consume. All delicious but the tomato meringues were the highlight. First course- Caviar and Otoro. One of my favorite courses. Buttery and salty, a perfect start. Second course- Waldorf salad. This was very interesting. I wish it had more apple and grape but overall very cool. Was served with liquid nitrogen which was a cool touch. Third course- Lobster and Squash. Probably my least favorite course although still good. The lobster was cooked well and the squash was still crunchy (how I like it). It needed acid and more salt. Fourth course- Hen's Egg. The combination of the egg and bread was divine. The egg was coated in parsley gel that didn't taste like much and I wish the egg was more runny. Fifth course- Halibut and Beets. Very good. Halibut was cooked perfectly and the beets a few ways were very nice. Again could have used more acid. Sixth course- Wagyu. Incredible. Probably my favorite course. The beef was the perfect balance of flavor and fat. The condiments were also perfect and a fun way to combine different tastes. Cheese course- optional- we had 6 different cheese with a couple of jams and some amazing crackers. Seventh course- Apple. First dessert course meant to be a palate cleanser. Very refreshing. FM Rocher- Like a dessert version of Ferrero Rocher. Delish. Sweet treats- At the end we received a pumpkin and caramel mini ice cream cone, a gummy bear and chocolate orange truffle. The service and ambiance was incredible as always. My only problem was that the meal took over 4 hours. For a couple courses, it took 20 minutes to get the next one. I have done multi course meals before and it never took that long. Our waiter did apologize for the wait so they might have just been backed up that night. Quite possibly my favorite restaurant as of yet in Atlanta. The ambiance coupled with the Christmas decorations were nothing short of spectacular. My wife mentioned the wine was delicious but I thought it was prosaic. My "holy smokes, cocktail was also mundane. The lobster was quite tasty. The Atlas restaurant is located on the second level of the St. Regis hotel in Buckhead. They have a proper dining area as well as a bar in the library space. This restaurant focuses on Italian and American fare, and it will never disappoint. I've been for dinner, for drinks, for a night cap, and for New Years and it never disappoints. The crowd is always interesting(from questionable characters to the young old and celebrities and celebrity wannabes). Most recently I stopped by for drinks for a birthday and we were seated at a long table in the restaurant before heading to the bar to end our night. Crowd favorites were the vodka cocktails, old fashioned, and Pinot noir. I may or may not have had 2 of each. Drinks will set you back $16-20 so if you're looking for an experience to savor best to come early. You're guaranteed to have a good time here and have impeccable service. read more

Reviews are subjective - so with that as my intro.. the food doesn't live up to the hype. The hyper focus on a beautiful presentation/ aesthetic seemed to overshadow the actual flavor of the foods being presented. I was disappointed. The amuse bouche consisted of several little bites. The transparent "chip" was gorgeous but meh- little tuna tartare bits were balanced and lovely- the avocado cigars were just ok, the octupus "chips" and romesco didn't work- the flavors were battling each other which seemed to be a theme throughout the night. The romesco was too acidic as well. The mushroom consumme served in a stemmed glass was a bit bland but nice, just not a wow- The first course of caviar, smoked eel and a cauliflower panna cotta is a flop- talk about flavor fighting! The caviar was pointless as the smoked eel and cauliflower panna cotta totally overwhelmed each other and the weird flavorless gelee confused the entire thing. Instead of saying "wow", we both kind of said "ummm.. what the hell..?" when we had a bite. It just didn't taste good.. The basic wine pairing included the Adam sparking rosé which was great on its own but totally soured with the cauliflower and smoked flavor. Yuck. Then came the Borscht. YES - that was actually awesome and worthy of a nod. Beautiful beet sorbet with a warm buttermilk broth. Spectacular! Then the scallop course. Terrible. Scallop should have some level of flavor but tasted like firm tofu- weird crust on it was badly sour and gummed up, sticking to my teeth. The white asparagus was mushy- totally overcooked with a beet type chip and "dashi" which wasn't a dashi-like you are thinking if you are a foodie- it was a sauce that was awful. After that was green eggs and ham- poached egg in a green sauce w/ham. I have an allergy to egg so was given a mushroom/truffle ravioli dish. It too was awful- it tasted like mushrooms soaked in vinegar and the pasta was as gummy-and too al dente in other parts--- I could not eat it . (At this point I should add the breads and butter that were offered were absolutely delish)! Then came fish course. So disappointed as it was just dry and again had a terrible flavor despite this gorgeous presentation. It was like your eyes take in something so awesome and your palate gets so excited only to be sorely disappointed. The squab course wasn't great- it was quite salty, which is weird as other dishes really needed a bit of salt! The greek wine pairing with the squab was also not great- too cab heavy for the dish, should have considered a pinot noir or even petite verdot to balance it... We were offered cheeses- we picked 3, a blue, a sheeps mill soft cheese and a cows milk harder cheese - all medicore except the sheeps milk cheese . But nothing was paired paired with the cheese which was a missed opportunity, the pre dessert was quite bitter and tart (palate cleanser type?) and I could only manage a bite- seriouslu just was too bitter to be pleasant - The gold ball liquidy chocolate dessert was so sweet- def a bit of salty caramel taste but really mainly sugar...should not have been paired with such a sweet dessert wine - absolutely gross. It needed a Cab or something to balance it. Really poor pairing choice. The "post desserts" were random overkill. Red wine gummy bear tasted like nothing.. so all in all, I would NOT reccomend Atlas. There were lags and long delays and server apologies throughout the meal- that just simply should not happen at this price or caliber of dining. We had a great time, just being together, our servers were all lovely. Cocktails at the bar were awesome... just bummed that it didn't live up to what we are used to. For example, we had Matsuisha Omakase in Beverly Hills, where we literally paused at looked at each other as every single course was the most amazing thing we had experienced.. or L'Auberge de I'lll in Alsace...everything blows you away,, and even casual places - like Tangaroa in Culver City consistently cook things like fish so perfectly and the flavors are amazing.. it just tastes great, which sadly wasn't consistently "on the menu" here read more

Loved! Being a total foodie from New York City, I was naturally looking for great restaurants in Atlanta while I'm in town. Came for dinner on a weekday for a 7pm reservation. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, but more guests started coming in later. We were one of the younger couples at the restaurant. Not really trendy, but not a stuffy restaurant either. Our waiter, Jordan (I think!) was phenomenal. He was courteous, attentive, and made excellent suggestions from the menu. Per his recommendation, we started with the scallops and agnolotti (I could've eaten 3 more servings of this for dinner!) For the main course, I opted for the Lobster en Croute and my husband, the trout. We ordered the sweet potato as a side dish, and everything was perfect. Quite possibly the most delicious sweet potatoes I've ever had. We finished with coffee and the pumpkin donuts. All of the food was delicious from start to finish. I will definitely be returning. We had reservations at Umi and somehow they lost the reservation so we walked next door to see if Atlas could take us. They seated us right away. We had an amazing and delicious dinner; our waiter (Derek, I think) was conversational and knowledgeable. A highlight besides the incredible food was that Derek told us all about the art on the walls around us, including information about the artist, Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita, and his collaboration with Picasso. We were seated underneath two Foujita works and it was very special. From the bread service to the dessert to the extra drink that Derek brought me unprompted, we had a fabulous and special night at a slower and more luxurious pace than we are used to. We felt very well taken care of. The Chilean sea bass was fabulous as was the chicken main course. We will absolutely be back. read more

Atlas is a nice upscale restaurant located in St. Regis Hotel. Atlas food is delicious and their wait staff is phenomenal. Antoinette, offers amazing service while seated at the bar. Antoinette, always remembers what cocktail, I like when I arrive and greets me by name. My go to dish, Oyster on ice paired with one of their signature white wines. Everything on Atlas menu is scrumptious. A fine dining restaurant that gives you your money worth. While waiting for your dinner to be serve, you get amazing bread to chose from, and a IPad for table internet browsing, while waiting. They pick the IPad once dinner is completed. Nice touch. The waiter did his job but he seemed really unpleasant like he really dislikes his job. He seemed annoyed when we were full and didn't want to order desserts. Came here for my sisters birthday dinner. It was a group of 8 of us. We had a reservation and a couple of us arrived later than the reservation time and we were still able to get seated. The restaurant is attached to the hotel and it located on the second level. You can get to it either from the hotel entrance or the entrance where the other restaurants are. I've been to this area for a few of the different restaurants on different occasions so it was easier for me to navigate my way around. There's valet parking available, street parking on the Main Street and also after the hotel there is a parking lot not sure what that parking area is for exactly but I have parked using all three options on the different times I have been to this area. The experience here was great. It's definitely not a restaurant that you should dress casually to. I'd recommend to dress up a little. The ambiance is very classy and also cool. I liked all the random art they had on the wall. They have a bar area where lots of people were and they also had some live music. We could see part of the kitchen or area that the food was being cooked. The people working there were really nice and service was excellent. Not to mention too the food was great. Through someone answering my question on Yelp, I was able to find out that they have a separate vegetarian menu. They brought us out a nice variety of rolls with butter and also a very savory potato treat prior to our meals being brought out. After our meals they brought us out a variety of chocolates. The overall experience was great and I would definitely go back again. The prices are not cheap but the overall experience, service, and food make it all worthwhile. read more

Opulence, decadence...I loved it lol the presentation of all the food is beautiful, everything tasted delicious. Plates are very small but that was to be expected. The brioche and sourdough bread that they pass out is amazing. We ordered hamachi crudo, pumpkin risotto, black truffle pillows, and the duck breast. The fish was fresh and melts in your mouth. The risotto was done perfectly. They didn't overdo it with the pumpkin and the duck was reallly good. We went with the berries and cream for dessert and were not disappointed.
