Ordered the spicy chicken shawarma bowl with extra chicken and veggies ($16.74). It was pretty good, 3.5 stars. Definitely no NYC Halal Cart, but perfectly fine. What I found annoying was that the only option to order is on the Revi tablet in front of the van, and they charge a $1.19 service fee to use the app. It says "This fee offers you rewards and supports local businesses by boosting their online presence and reducing reliance on expensive third-party services." And yet I ordered in person at a food truck. It would have been cheaper to order on DoorDash for pickup. I'm just so sick of San Francisco and all the hidden service charges. read more

I got the chicken shawarma wrap from the Atlas Bites food truck at Spark Social. I also got a water and the atlas salad on the side. The wrap on its own was filling so I regretted getting the salad! The wrap was pretty good, I selected extra spicy and it ended up not being very spicy. I thought overall the flavor was a little lacking as well. I didn't finish the salad but I didn't love what I had of it, I kept getting bites with some sort of really bitter flavor in it. If I returned I would recommend the wrap but not the salad. read more

this food truck is located within spark social. the overall vibe and layout of spark social is awesome. the area is also a great place to be, especially when it's warm and sunny outside. my friend and i went to this specific food truck on a sunday evening. spark social in general was pretty quiet, no lines. atlas bites's service was quick and you order on a tablet. the food itself was pretty good. the falafel was really good and had a nice crunch to it. the chicken shawarma bowl was a bit dry and there wasn't necessarily anything to it that made it special. the toppings are also not really mixed throughout so by the latter half, it's mainly just rice. overall though, i would come to this place again read more

Had high hopes for this place since so many people had glowing reviews, but I found the food here to be utterly disappointing. I got the chicken plate since it seemed to give me the most options to sample what they've got. For $23 I got spicy chicken over rice covered in tahini, pita, hummus, and Moroccan lentils. Chicken was cut into large tender pieces, but what really stood out was how bland everything was, especially the lentils. Lentils could've just been fished straight out of unseasoned water and it would probably taste the same. I think the only seasoning I could detect was the sumac powder, but honestly, that never really tastes like anything to me. The best thing was the hummus, tahini, and pita. I'm so disappointed. I was looking for a flavorful and spiced lunch, but this is not it. I'd suggest "Halal Cart" if you want flavor for a more reasonable price. read more

I ordered from here yesterday but was pretty disappointed. First of all the kiosk didn't work so people were looking at me like what was wrong with me. Eventually I got someone to come out and he restarted it like it happens all the time. I got texted that my order was ready and went back and they gave me my bowl. It wasn't until after I converged with my friends that I opened to see that they gave me a beef shawarma instead of chicken! We were all hungry and had already been waiting around so I didn't much choice but to go ahead and eat it. On top of that the food was just ok. The beef was a little tough and had some big chunks of joints and tendons that I had to spit out. I wish there were some veggies, it was just a bowl of beef and rice basically. And on top of this I tried to contact them and couldn't. No contact info on their website. Messaging on Instagram was turned off. All I can do is write this review and and hope other people are aware it might not be as good as the reviews suggest. read more

My wife and I got catering from Atlas Bites for our baby shower, hosted at spark social, on 12/14. Prior to the event, we worked with Hosni to customize the perfect order for our party (~25 people) and received a bunch of delicious and very affordable food. My personal favourites were the zaalouk and the falafel, but it was all super tasty. Would definitely recommend, particularly for people who want catering for events. Special shoutout to Hosni for accommodating our last minute changes to the order, and for generally being a super kind and professional point of contact. read more

Full halal menu, which is great for those with dietary restrictions. I tried their beef/lamb shawarma wrap and it was delicious! It had a ton of flavor and I asked for it to be made spicy. I didn't get to try any of their other items, but it was so good that I would go back and try something else. The service was very quick and the folks working were really courteous. My go to spot when going to spark social! The food is so fresh and so flavorful it never disappoints. My favorite thing to get is the beef shawarma wrap - the sauce and the grilled meat is perfection with cold Diet Coke. He was so kind, helpful, and transparent during the entire process. Our gathering was a huge success and everyone loved the food! We hired Atlas Bites to provide dinner for an outdoor wedding reception in San Francisco . Hosni was amazing, working with us beforehand to decide what menu items would work with our crowd. His SCHWARMA BOWLS (chicken and beef) are DELICIOUS, as his Zaalouk (eggplant sidedish) and Taktouka (roasted pepper sidedish). AND his FALAFEL is OUTSTANDING. I have tried many different falafel places in the Bay Area and have to say Hosni's is at the top, with the yummy falafel balls and different additions he stuffs in the pita. We received many, many compliments from our guests, all telling us how much they loved his offerings and his warm and hospitable personality. He deftly handled the guests, getting their orders to them as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend Atlas Bites either on site at Spark Social near Chase Center or for delivery. And, if you want to hire his truck for an event, we can highly recommend Hosni and Atlas Bites. read more

There's just something primal and perfect about smoke hitting a juicy piece of pork... honestly any meat... or even fish like the branzino. The flavor gets deeper, richer, more alive. You can taste the fire in the best way possible. The pork chop was the standout for me -- smoky outside, incredibly juicy inside. The branzino was clean and delicate but still carried that subtle char from the grill. Even the fried smelt disappeared fast. Kokkari just understands how to cook over fire without overcomplicating things. Simple, rustic, confident food.

The portion is also appropriate for the price. Ambiance here is nice, a lot of seating in the restaurant and also outside. People here are also very friendly and nice. I will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu when i'm in the area.

We ordered the combo plate which came with a lot of Pita bread, definitely enough to share among 4 people. Dishes came with a big helping of hummus too. I personally got the Kofte Kebab which filled me up. I had enough to bring home for lunch the next day. Getting a frozen yogurt at Easy Breezy is a must afterwards!!

Everything on the…read moremenu looked interesting and, after getting a few recommendations from our server, we decided to share the Jerusalem Breakfast and the chicken wrap. The breakfast comes with several small dishes and dips served with pita bread, while the wraps are large and generously filled. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, especially the hummus and the flavorful chicken inside the wrap. The restaurant is close to the Mission District and, from the outside, it might not immediately catch your attention, but it is definitely worth trying. The service was also excellent, and the ambience made the experience even better.
