Found this place on Yelp today looking for Shawarma. As usual reviews are spot on. I had a chicken shawarma wrap and fries for lunch. Both were fantastic. I love the restaurant; it's casual but still nice with tablecloths, silverware and real plates for the food. It's a cozy little place and the food is bomb. I went there as with a good friend who chose the place. I'm full Lebanese and when I walked in I felt at home. They guy started speaking Arabic to me and I was like, "I don't know what you're saying but I feel right at home." I'm American born so I don't speak Arabic fluently AT ALL. But I kinda understand it. Anyway, me and my friend had a blast there. We ate really well and they have an option at the table to use a QR code to pay for your meal. She had kafta and I had Lamb and hummus with pine nuts. The pita was excellent. I loved my meal. we shared knefe and it was delicious. I also got a Turkish Coffee and it was excellent. It felt like my Dad had made it, it was that good. After we finished our food we hung out outside at the outdoor tables for quite some time and they were totally cool with it. I bookmarked this spot a year ago, so after a nearby walk, we finally jumped at the chance to have lunch at Mezze and Mooore! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the owner, Nabil, whose million-dollar smile sets the tone for this charming corner café. We were pleasantly surprised by the prices -- especially in a time when lunch fare has climbed everywhere else. The interior is bright and welcoming, with beautiful tiled floors and plenty of windows that fill the space with natural light. When we heard the mint lemonade was made in-house, we had to try it -- and it did not disappoint. I ordered the falafel platter, which was generous enough for two meals. The falafel were crisp on the outside, perfectly green and flavorful inside. As a self-proclaimed hummus snob, I can say theirs was outstanding -- smooth, rich, and creamy. The value for the food you get is also on point, especially for SF. Our friends had gotten the wraps and they were HUGE! My BF and I split a Chicken Kabob Plate ($17) and Dolmas ($11 for 8). The name sounds like one of those cheesy law firms that advertise on all the streaming channels over old footage of fiery car crashes. The "lawyers" shout some catchy tagline at the end of the commercial, something like... DON'T YOU BELIEVE LESS IS MORE! YOU NEED TO CONTACT MEZZE & MOOORE! Well, I don't think the owners are lawyers, but they're enterprising enough to have two locations in the city. I can see why as I finally tried their original Guerrero Street location one evening where I noticed it was quite empty for a Thursday. The Lebanese menu here looked quite appetizing if you're in a particularly Middle Eastern mood. I went for the $19 Kabab Lamb which was a hearty amount of food starting with two skewers of large lamb chunks. Slightly overcooked but not enough to put me off, and the green tahini sauce helped. A huge mound of seasoned hummus was accompanied by roasted tomatoes, a side arugula salad, rice, and paper-thin pita (Photo 7). It satisfied and no lawsuits had to be filed. So yum! Arrived at 11:30am (opening) for a table of 3. No wait walk-in. We got the Mezze platter ($36), kafta wrap ($13), and chich taouik ($17, aka chicken skewers). Portions are a good size, this was way more than enough for us 3. I loved the platter as a sampler, which was also very filling. The kafta was yummy and slightly fragrant, maybe cinnamon? The chicken was tender and juicy. Service was friendly and pleasant to talk to. The ambiance is simple, clean, and modern. There's plenty of space between tables. Our specific table did have holes (by design of the table) that food fell through sometimes, though that's on us for being messy. But if you're a messy eater too, try getting one of the solid tables. Noise levels were good even when it did get busy, like it was easy to talk with others at the table. Years later and I'm still so very happy with my lunch from Mezze and Moore! They don't have the halloumi plate on their menu anymore but when I inquired about it - the gentleman at the counter happily put in the order for me anyway because I had been missing this particular lunch item. Took my auntie here for a birthday lunch and she inhaled her beef and lamb shwarma plate and told me how yummy it was and satisfying it was for her. I forgot to photograph the baklava but that too was very tasty! Still enjoyed the restaurant cozy vibe and meal - they have QR codes at each table now - so you don't have to stand in line to buy your meal! Overall my experience here continues to be great and satiating as well as the service and quality of food. The chicken skewers were a bit dry by the time I served them, but that's probably just because they use chicken breast. Honestly, I don't think the value was there. It might've been better to just order specific items instead of doing catering, probably would've cost the same or less. I got two huge trays of arugula salad that no one touched. One tabbouleh salad would've been better since it's a Mediterranean restaurant. Some things were a little oily and there was just way too much rice, especially with the dolma. I got the chicken shawarma plate -- it's chicken served over rice, with a side salad, hummus, toum (garlic & olive oil -- think aioli), and pita bread. It's never gamey, it's so tender, and the plate comes with fresh vegetables and some hummus & pita. If you have a sweet tooth, don't sleep on their desserts. I'm not usually a baklava girl, but this place has converted me. Chefs kiss good! Restaurant is casual, but has a sitting restaurant feel. Clean, cute interior with wooden tables and lots of natural sunlight. You order and pay at the front and then they bring it out to you. Mezze and Moore seemed to have what I was looking for -- halloumi cheese & garlic sauce -- menu items I search for at Mediterranean spots, but don't often find. However, these were the things with which I was most unsatisfied; I love me a squeaky-in-the-mouth cheese, but the texture of the grilled halloumi was a bit tough & rubbery, & the garlic sauce was so devoid of garlic, I thought I was eating plain hummus. The chicken shawarma was enough for two people to share. Packed with chicken breast though not much else, quickly giving me flavor fatigue. Although similar to my order, I tried a bite of my companion's chicken skewer to see if I'd consider it in the future; juicy & a generous portion of two skewers, but given that the handful of Mediterranean eateries I frequent specifically for grilled halloumi & garlic sauce make them infinitely better than Mezze and Moore, my patronage here is probably limited to this one experience. read more

It's located on the corner, with lots of options for indoor seating, bar area to sit for to-go order and nice glass displays for their baklava Menu is fairly large, but you can isolate based on if you want a plate, wrap, or even vegetarian options. We prefer the plates, and prefer to eat in house they give you a huge basket of pita when you eat here. Service can be fast, but the food sometimes takes a bit longer because they are busy but also the food isn't "fast food." So be prepared and not annoyed to have a slight wait. Enjoy it! This place was highly recommended to me by a friend and I can attest to why: the food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions, too. It became one of my go-to meal places while I was stuck at home for several months last year, and since then is still one of my go-to lunch places to get something during my weekly office day, or to order in while hanging with friends at home. I don't think that I have ever eaten at the restaurant for some reason, so in giving it five stars I am reviewing only the food that my friends and I have had delivered, but I have interacted personally with staff and found them to be polite and pleasant and friendly and helpful, so I am giving the staff and space the benefit of the doubt in rating it so highly -- the deliveries have almost always been smooth as well, so that's a plus! read more

That means trying some new spots like Mezze Mooore that another reviewer says reminds her of what she had in Lebanon. Fattet Batinjah of fried eggplant, garlic, yogurt sauce, pita, and croutons was my favorite that I couldn't stop eating it and would've been happy just eating this. Crunch pita croutons, creamy yogurt sauce, and soft eggplant is just the perfect combination. Had to try Lebanese House pita topped with tomatoes, onions, feta cheese, and zaatar which was another great combo. Schwarma plate was served with rice, hummus, and salad but I kept wishing it came with pita bread too as a vehicle to hold the perfect bite as the some of the meat was kind of dry and could've used the creamy hummus and soft pita to offset that. read more

We were greeted by a big smile and a warm welcome, off to a great start. The menu offered a lot of choice so I asked our server for some suggestions. He immediately recommended the arnabeet hot mezze (lightly fried cauliflower with garlic and fresh lemon juice and parsley), outstanding! We quickly chose our mains: Lamb/beef shawarma wrap ($13) and the Kafta plate ($15). Both were deliciously garlicky and generous portions. I can't resist babaghanouge ($9). The garlic and lemon were perfectly balanced and while I dipped the pita triangles, my son put dollops of it on his shawarma wrap. Even with The Incinerator (10 hours of high intensity swimming a week, yo) we took home leftovers including the lovely baklava the owners gifted us. They add a little garlic sauce on top but you have to pay extra for some on the side- that's my only reason for not giving 5 starts. The space is beautiful. It seems more of place where you get table service but you just order at the front and they bring you your food. The service has always been nice and kind. I have limited interaction with the service tho, I usually order at the self ordering kiosk. I would just this place is worth trying out.
