I have had multiple exceptional experiences here! I found it when looking for a simple lunch with my mom, and we were so enamored of the food, particularly the baba ghanoush, that I reached out when I needed catering for a 20 person event. I spoke with Susie who created the perfect menu and our group ended up with a fantastic feast. I just use them again for a meal for 10 people last night and once again the spread was impeccable and everyone was impressed. I'm going to keep coming back here every time I either want a delicious casual lunch or need to impress a large group!
I'm generally pretty indifferent about mediterranean food, but this place really impressed me! Every dish I tried had amazing flavors, and everything was prepared perfectly. We started off with the hummus and the moussaka (eggplant and tomato sauce). The hummus was pretty standard, but still great, and the moussaka was SO delicious. This was definitely the standout dish to me, and I'd hiiiighly recommend it. For mains, I was doing Meatless Monday, so I got the super falafel wrap. This wrap was also sooo delicious and massive! The falafel was really flavorful, and all the toppings and tahini sauce were just perfect additions. The restaurant itself is really pleasant and bright, great for pretty much any occasion. Service was also good (you order via QR code, but they bring the food out to you) and prices are reasonable given the quality and portion size. Definitely a new fav spot in SF!
Run don't walk. This place is amazing- the service is kind and attentive. The chicken schwarma is the best I've ever had. I didn't prefer the spinach fatayer/ next time I'll ask for it without the balsamic vinegar drizzle (too sweet for me). Love this place!
Solid food and warm atmosphere. We ordered the Kafta, Shawarma Combo Plate, and finished with a tasty dessert Knafeh. Once you sit, you can take photo of the QR code to order. Nice and efficient. The shawarma combo plate was my favorite and the vibes of the restaurant was very welcoming.
Came back for a second time and got the lamb and beef shawarma plate, areyas and the chicken artichoke pita. The areyas and chicken artichoke pita were new to me and were great. The chicken artichoke pita had a ton of flavor and I'll be coming back for that again.
Found this place on Yelp today looking for Shawarma. As usual reviews are spot on. I had a chicken shawarma wrap and fries for lunch. Both were fantastic. I love the restaurant; it's casual but still nice with tablecloths, silverware and real plates for the food. It's a cozy little place and the food is bomb. I'll definitely be going back to try other things. No complaints whatsoever about my food.
Food is VERY good! Beautiful floor tile and convenient location. You can order with a QR code at the table or at the counter. Only downside is there's only one bathroom stall, which could definitely benefit from an expansion and update. Will definitely be back. Loved the food.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the owner, Nabil, whose million-dollar smile sets the tone for this charming corner café. We were pleasantly surprised by the prices -- especially in a time when lunch fare has climbed everywhere else. The interior is bright and welcoming, with beautiful tiled floors and plenty of windows that fill the space with natural light. When we heard the mint lemonade was made in-house, we had to try it -- and it did not disappoint. I ordered the falafel platter, which was generous enough for two meals. The falafel were crisp on the outside, perfectly green and flavorful inside. As a self-proclaimed hummus snob, I can say theirs was outstanding -- smooth, rich, and creamy. My friend ordered the lamb shawarma wrap and raved about how delicious it was. We finished with a piece of baklava, which was just the right amount of sweet and flaky. We'll definitely be back -- this spot is a true gem!

It came beautifully layered: fluffy yellow rice on the bottom, tender pieces of chicken, a generous drizzle of tangy garlic or yogurt sauce, and a hearty topping of toasted pine nuts. The fried pita chips were the highlight for me--crispy, warm, and perfect for adding crunch to every bite. The seasoning was spot-on, with just enough paprika and herbs to keep things interesting without overwhelming the dish. It's rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. The portion size was huge, easily enough for two people or one very hungry one. If I had to nitpick, lol I would love more sauce. Overall, delicious, filling, and exactly the kind of Middle Eastern comfort food I'd happily order again. Highly recommend
We came here on a Sunday for lunch. The menu has an awesome variety of hot/cold mezze, plates and wraps. Everything was incredibly delicious, filling, and flavorful. The value for the food you get is also on point, especially for SF. Our friends had gotten the wraps and they were HUGE! My BF and I split a Chicken Kabob Plate ($17) and Dolmas ($11 for 8). The chicken was tender and delish, and the dolmas were also wonderful. We got a side basket of pita ($2) and some hummus ($9) to dip it in. The Turkish coffee ($5) is STRONG. It's a casual cafe-like ambience. The staff are attentive - you can order with them, or by QR code. Good amount of seating inside too - they were able to accomodate the toddler we had with us :)
It's cute that I asked the very handsome workers at the counter to recommend dishes. He ordered us those and we loved evert single one of them. My favorite was surprisingly beef with steak fries. I just really enjoyed a different cuisine for a change. It offers a taste of their culture and offerings.

The name sounds like one of those cheesy law firms that advertise on all the streaming channels over old footage of fiery car crashes. The "lawyers" shout some catchy tagline at the end of the commercial, something like... DON'T YOU BELIEVE LESS IS MORE! YOU NEED TO CONTACT MEZZE & MOOORE! Well, I don't think the owners are lawyers, but they're enterprising enough to have two locations in the city. I can see why as I finally tried their original Guerrero Street location one evening where I noticed it was quite empty for a Thursday. The Lebanese menu here looked quite appetizing if you're in a particularly Middle Eastern mood. I went for the $19 Kabab Lamb which was a hearty amount of food starting with two skewers of large lamb chunks. Slightly overcooked but not enough to put me off, and the green tahini sauce helped. A huge mound of seasoned hummus was accompanied by roasted tomatoes, a side arugula salad, rice, and paper-thin pita (Photo 7). It satisfied and no lawsuits had to be filed. The best middle eastern food I've had in SF! (Been here 4yrs & have tried a lot!) The staff is always incredibly kind! My mom was visiting & they stayed open later in time for a last min order! Wonderful calming open ambiance. Fav dishes: - fattet hummus (legit the best thing here) - chicken shawarma wrap - combination meat plate - best baklava I've ever tried!! Love this place!! read more
This is my second time coming into this establishment and for some reason I am not the biggest fan of it though my partner does tend to like it so that's why we've returned back a couple of times. The tables in this establishment are pretty small if you come as a party of two, and that's the part that I've been struggling with because there's nowhere for me to hang my purse usually whenever we're sitting there, and the chairs are metal, so the straps tend to slide off and I just have to end up holding my bag. I've tried their plate and wraps but I'm not blown away by the flavor profiles. The service is okay. You are seated upon entering, but you order through a QR code yourself and then that they just bring out the meal to you. read more

So yum! Arrived at 11:30am (opening) for a table of 3. No wait walk-in. We got the Mezze platter ($36), kafta wrap ($13), and chich taouik ($17, aka chicken skewers). Portions are a good size, this was way more than enough for us 3. I loved the platter as a sampler, which was also very filling. The kafta was yummy and slightly fragrant, maybe cinnamon? The chicken was tender and juicy. Service was friendly and pleasant to talk to. The ambiance is simple, clean, and modern. There's plenty of space between tables. Our specific table did have holes (by design of the table) that food fell through sometimes, though that's on us for being messy. But if you're a messy eater too, try getting one of the solid tables. Noise levels were good even when it did get busy, like it was easy to talk with others at the table. It was quiet in the beginning around opening, though it did start getting busy 30 minutes in. read more

4.5 stars Everything was good. My husband liked his kefta plate and my haloumi eggplant dish was delish but the salad was insanely salty. Service was fast and friendly. They gave us a lot of pita which we took home. Great lunch. Wish they were in my neighborhood! read more

Their food is delicious, affordable (despite pricing changes in the last 2 years) and the staff is kind! I've been coming here since 2024 and I always get the same thing: chicken shawarma plate. I took my friend here for the first time and she loved it as well. read more

I got catering from Mezze and Moore for a dinner with 12 people. The service was great, super easy to communicate with the owner. The falafel, hummus, and baba ganoush were all solid. The chicken skewers were a bit dry by the time I served them, but that's probably just because they use chicken breast. Honestly, I don't think the value was there. It might've been better to just order specific items instead of doing catering, probably would've cost the same or less. I got two huge trays of arugula salad that no one touched. One tabbouleh salad would've been better since it's a Mediterranean restaurant. Some things were a little oily and there was just way too much rice, especially with the dolma. The food was decent overall, but next time I'd just eat there or do a more custom order. read more

Years later and I'm still so very happy with my lunch from Mezze and Moore! They don't have the halloumi plate on their menu anymore but when I inquired about it - the gentleman at the counter happily put in the order for me anyway because I had been missing this particular lunch item. Took my auntie here for a birthday lunch and she inhaled her beef and lamb shwarma plate and told me how yummy it was and satisfying it was for her. I forgot to photograph the baklava but that too was very tasty! Still enjoyed the restaurant cozy vibe and meal - they have QR codes at each table now - so you don't have to stand in line to buy your meal! Overall my experience here continues to be great and satiating as well as the service and quality of food. I rally hard for businesses that taste good, provide quality and great service on top of it all and the price point is within reason of what most lunch spots cost in the vicinity! read more
Mezze and Moore is a relatively newer spot I wanted to check out in the Mission; the interior is lovely and you can call to make a reservation or just walk in. I got a Kafta plate, and while the food wasn't bad at all, nothing really wowed me. I felt like the plate could've had more flavor and been served hotter instead of lukewarm. My friends said their chicken shawarma was quite dry. read more
Amazing food. Cute setting and reasonably priced. I met a girlfriend here for lunch and we had lentil soup, which was delicious. The chicken Shawarma plate. I cannot believe it's only $15 for this plate and the falafel wrap. We sat by the window. The only thing it was a little stuffy as San Francisco was experiencing unusually hot weather of 74° in August. Otherwise amazing experience and highly recommend. read more

This is my go-to restaurant for Mediterranean, especially lamb and rice! I've tried the falafel and other plates here, but the lamb is phenomenal. It's never gamey, it's so tender, and the plate comes with fresh vegetables and some hummus & pita. If you have a sweet tooth, don't sleep on their desserts. I'm not usually a baklava girl, but this place has converted me. Chefs kiss good! Restaurant is casual, but has a sitting restaurant feel. Clean, cute interior with wooden tables and lots of natural sunlight. You order and pay at the front and then they bring it out to you. A good amount of tables, but just a few for bigger groups, so I highly recommend making a reservation on a weekend. read more
Came here on a Friday night and it was so busy! Hard to find a table and many to-go orders, but it's great to see such a wonderful business doing well. My friends and I came here for a casual dinner and loved the food. We tried almost all the appetizers, our favorite being the eggplant and cauliflower dishes. The food was healthy and flavorful. Fantastic food offerings in a casual setting. I suggest ordering different plates for the table and sharing. Highly recommend the hummus and chicken plate. The falafels are uniquely yummy. My partner said they're the best she's ever had, and had a big smile while saying it. You order at the table via bar code or at the counter and then they deliver the food to your table. Definitely recommend the Turkish coffee if you like strong coffee. Nice server too. read more
Daughter and I had a fantastic lunch yesterday at this wonderful restaurant! We both wanted Mediterranean food, and found this gem via a Yelp review for this neighborhood. Both of our lunches were outstanding and the service was great. My daughter had Shish kebab and I had a falafel wrap. She said hers was as good as her grandma's, and that's saying a lot! Mine was excellent too. Very large portions, also! We also had a very refreshing mint lemonade. I highly recommend this new restaurant if you're ever in this part of San Francisco. Mezze and Moore seemed to have what I was looking for -- halloumi cheese & garlic sauce -- menu items I search for at Mediterranean spots, but don't often find. However, these were the things with which I was most unsatisfied; I love me a squeaky-in-the-mouth cheese, but the texture of the grilled halloumi was a bit tough & rubbery, & the garlic sauce was so devoid of garlic, I thought I was eating plain hummus. The chicken shawarma was enough for two people to share. Packed with chicken breast though not much else, quickly giving me flavor fatigue. Although similar to my order, I tried a bite of my companion's chicken skewer to see if I'd consider it in the future; juicy & a generous portion of two skewers, but given that the handful of Mediterranean eateries I frequent specifically for grilled halloumi & garlic sauce make them infinitely better than Mezze and Moore, my patronage here is probably limited to this one experience. read more
Mezze and Mooore is a hidden gem for Mediterranean food in San Francisco. Would highly, highly recommend you come check this out. If I could give 6 stars I would. :) FOOD [5/5] ========= + Lamb Kebab Plate [4.5/5] The plate itself comes with the most delicious pita, hummus, rice, and salad. Oh my gosh I cannot emphasize how well made their food is. The lamb kebab was a little tough on the day I ordered it and I have not ordered it again since. + Beef Kofte Plate [6/5] - WOULD RECOMMEND AMAZING. I will order this every time! The beef koftes (best way of describing it would be large, flat meatballs) were so delicious, so good, so juicy. SERVICE [5/5] ========= Super friendly workers! So so so good. This is a convenient location for my husband and I as we get our tattoos around this area. It's located on the corner, with lots of options for indoor seating, bar area to sit for to-go order and nice glass displays for their baklava Menu is fairly large, but you can isolate based on if you want a plate, wrap, or even vegetarian options. We prefer the plates, and prefer to eat in house they give you a huge basket of pita when you eat here. Service can be fast, but the food sometimes takes a bit longer because they are busy but also the food isn't "fast food." So be prepared and not annoyed to have a slight wait. Enjoy it! The lentil soup is not to be slept on. It's also piping hot read more
I'm a big halloumi person so I was very excited to try the wrap for lunch. It totally hit the spot and was the perfect size for a lunch portion. I got it to go and it held up well for a few hours till I got home. Excited to come in and try something else next time. read more
