I wanted to give a huge shoutout to Las Delicias for providing the catering for our 2026 CSU grad…read moreparty! The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was delivered right on time, and they went above and beyond by setting up the trays with heaters, serving utensils, plates, and packets of silverware, making everything so easy and stress-free. We ordered food for 100 people, and there was more than enough for everyone -- we even had plenty of leftovers! The guacamole was fresh, the chips and salsa were delicious, and the meat selections were a huge hit. We chose carnitas, steak, and shredded chicken, and the shredded chicken was definitely a crowd favorite. Everything was top-notch from start to finish -- the delivery, setup, customer service, and especially the food itself. Highly recommend for anyone looking for catering for a large event!

Five-Star Review for Las Delicias…read more We're originally from Southern California, so we're picky about authentic, high-quality Mexican food. Our bar is high, and after trying several Mexican restaurants in Fort Collins -- including a few that brag about having the "best green chile" -- nothing came close. Las Delicias is the real deal. It's a Mexican market and a restaurant, with pan dulce, tamales, meats, candies, drinks, and all the staples. The dining area is simple -- not a full-service sit-down restaurant -- but the food is unmatched. Their carnitas are exceptional. The refried beans taste exactly like my Grandma Rita's. The carne asada is perfection. The tamales are our go-to for true, authentic tamales. The guacamole and salsas are fantastic. Soft tacos, chile rellenos -- everything is consistently delicious. And they're wonderfully accommodating with special requests, which we really appreciate. If you want authentic, flavorful Mexican food in Fort Collins, you won't find better than Las Delicias.

We stopped in on a Sunday to pick up lunch to have as a picnic…read more My daughter had not done this before so I showed her the salad bar, the cold pre-made salads and the hot bar. She headed for the hot bar while I made salads for myself and my husband. This is a nice option now and again if we want to just go to a park. I fixed my husband up with all his favorites and then did my own. My daughter was thrilled to find chicken tikka as well as roasted butternut and brussels sprouts. The store is well maintained and busy. The staff is pleasant. The parking lot always seems to be full. All the bins of food were fresh and well cared for.

Also, I am consistently flabbergasted by the fact that people don't know where anything is in their store or what certain items of produce are. Back in the day any decent grocery staff person was required to walk the store know it was on sale and know what the produce items were and if they didn't know they were charged with actually asking questions. I can't believe the lack of I don't know I don't care attitude. And honestly, that woman eating yogurt at the pizza bar just was over the top. Don't you give your people breaks? Disgusting. The cake case was barren of anything interesting. The cookie bar was void of most the usuals. Made it look like the place is on the decline and ready to go out of business. It's just sad. I remember when natural foods used to be a big deal and how things were done mattered.

They have many items I can't find anywhere else or something fun I didn't even know I was looking for. Friendly , helpful staff, knowledgeable people on the sales floor, it's clean, small in just the right way. I really like Haye's Market & wish Loveland had one. They seem to be able to source outside the box - unlike other corp. groceries stores. I hope Berthoud understands just how lucky they are to have a small, local grocery store - Loveland didn't & they lost Crunchy and now all we have is greedy corporate out of state ownership, crappy part-time jobs, & faux health food which got a huge unfair boost from our tax dollars. One day a corporate chain will come knocking at Berthoud's door, promising more jobs & tax revenue..but they will demand tax subsidies 1st- I hope the people of Berthoud know better than we did here in Loveland.

I've used Reliable for one elk and two deer. I've never been that impressed with their hospitality…read moreor treatment of customers. Several times I've had to knock on the door to their home, or have been seen but ignored. I recently used another processor closer to my elk hunt, and was amazed by the difference. Reliable doesn't have any real website for their wild game processing, or any forms to print out with what you want to order so you can have it ready when you get there. I was given the option to add fat back in, never told what kind of fat or how much it will be. I also wasn't given any option to have the meat hung prior to processing. All the meat was wrapped in butcher paper, no plastic and no chub wraps or vacuum sealing. They don't have any professional labeling. We had snack sticks made from a deer, so they were frozen when we picked them up. When we thawed them out, they were still soggy and never hardened like a snack stick should. I've never had this problem before. And by no means is their processing cheap, so maybe the lack of packaging would be okay. All the steaks we've ever had have been small and hacked off so each package has 3 or 4 tiny misshapen steaks, kind of a waste of an animal we worked so hard to harvest. One of the roasts had the bone left in (also never seen this before), so when we cooked it all the ligaments, fat and bone ruined the meat around it. I used reliable because it's the only processor in Fort Collins, the other one is farther away out of town. But from now on, I'll just make the drive out of town to Denver or somewhere else to get better service. Hunting is growing all over the country, and it's not just tough ranchers that hunt anymore. It's young women, people who live in the city and new hunters that aren't familiar with the processing world. Customer service and professionalism can go a long way.
