Pizza with a side of chaotic punk rock music. Come in and out for a quick slice. The pizza was pretty good, hot, crisped and nice and thin. I got the pizza week special which had a nice sweet and savory situation going on. Regular prices at $4-$5 aren't all that bad considering I've seen $6-7 slices around town that haven't been as good. Ummm the lady that had tattoos and black hair who's short and wears glasses is rude af. There's plenty of other pizza joints to go to with no attitude, so I'd advise to go there. It wasn't even busy she had a friend at the bar that she was too busy trying to conversate with. Also I asked for $3 worth of change cause their machine was broken and she attempted to drop them in my hand but most of them landed on the counter and didn't bother to help pick them up. Honestly she was nice to all the other customers letting them know about their coin machine dispenser but not me and my boyfriend so I just think she's racist. We were right here and hungry so let's give er a go.... First of all... warning to those of you who have sound triggers... do not plan to sit inside. I have never been in a space before where the sound affected me so poorly. There was a speaker in the center of the ceiling just assaulting us with their awful playlist. I was trying hard to block it out but it was like they were trying to start a rave. It is not a bar or a nightclub, calm down. I am into just about any type of music but this was just awful (and I grew up in mosh pits). I wished I grabbed a paper menu on the way to the seat because the website is not that friendly for an order in the restaurant. The person at the counter was not 'rude' but a touch abrupt and seemed like they expected I was a regular and knew all the things. I just did a standard 'trying a pizza spot out' order for me and grabbed a slice of cheese, slice of pepperoni and a small spinach salad with no blue cheese... What is it with RC and Portland? They have Dr Pepper thankfully but warning... apparently way before actually closing they turn off their fountain without a warning on it. So it sprays fizzy water out everywhere. I was not expecting a shower. When it happened and I was standing there dripping and shook, I get the "you should have known better" tone that they are closing in ten minutes so they turn that off. Then offered to allow me to get more soda which I was intending to do in a to go container as we were trying to exit. Now I needed to clean up in the bathroom. My friend ordered A LOT and was not expecting that a large pizza comes in a large box. I did really appreciate the fella working the line boxing everything up for her so she would be able to carry her stuff back to the car. They have those awful to go containers where the top just does not stay closed so you might want to ask for some tape. The slices of pizza I got were pretty good. Not the best I have had but a solid choice with good cheese, flavorful sauce and not greasy. The crust gives you that pretty spot on mouth feel with the crisp outside and good chew also. The pepperoni slice I brought home - pro tip...I plop it on foil, preheat the oven to 450...put it in immediately and it is perfect temp when the oven tells you it is heated... you are welcome. The whole salad came home and that was delicious. Spinach, red onion, sunflower seeds and craisins - I added some feta I had and their raspberry vinaigrette. My friend I came with is vegan and she was really excited about all the vegan options though disappointed they do not have a creamy dressing option that is vegan since that seems like a staple for vegan friendly restaurants. I saw her pizza and she asked them to add vegan pepperoni and DID THEY EVER...like ALL OF IT. So they are generous with toppings apparently. I would say that this is not a bad choice for food to go. Trying them during Portland Pizza week, they featured a bbq pork pizza with pickles, mustard, and onions, which were not foods I would choose to pair with on a pizza. However, it kinda worked! It was good! They were insanely busy when we came, and the line was out the door. The slices came out fresh and hot about 15 minutes after ordering. The dough/crust impressed me the most - not too thick, tangy, chewy, and held together well. The toppings also balanced each other and nothing was too overpowering. The pickles and mustard actually worked with the bbq pork. Overall, I am a fan! There are pinball machines inside - adding to the retro/70s vibe Atlas pizza brings. Customer service issue...Ordered a slice of pineapple and ham pizza. Instead, cashier served a pineapple and jalapeño slice. After we discussed the error she clarified they only have ham and pineapple knots; not slices. I asked if she could replace my slice because I can't eat the jalapeños and she insisted I'd have to pay for a different slice, rather than just exchange the slice of pizza. As if it would've bankrupted the business to make a customer happy over ONE slice of pizza... The garlic knots were really delicious. Too bad, though. I've come here multiple times and would give this place a solid a-okay. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The crust is generally crisp and thin as I like it. I find the flavors of the sauce and toppings to be a bit less too my liking. The sauce is a bit acidic for my preferences. Otherwise, a decent slice and super chill! read more

The bright yellow building on SE Division is in a great area, and with lots of indoor seating this is a nice place to stop in for a bite. The staff is friendly and goofy and sounds like they're having a fun time even when they're busy. Order at the counter and wait for your name to be called. I thought the pizza week specials flavors were good but unusual, and I would've liked more flavor in the garlic knots. Atlas used to be my number 1 pizza place for YEARS until they started hiring folks who were legit mean and useless. Not even at just one location! Division has a previously mentioned short woman with dark hair and glasses that just uses it as a hang out spot for her friends by the bar, and Foster had some loser boy in the back that was legit mad when we mentioned our basil that we paid for was missing. His excuse was "I wanted to get it out faster!" By eliminating a topping we paid for? Sir I'd prefer if you'd just slow down and do it correctly. I will wait. Our friend group has since had orders canceled hours after ordering, pizzas showing up incorrectly, and just other irresponsible nonsense. I really enjoy the casual vibe, but casual doesn't mean sloppy and disrespectful. WOW I just the cutest most friendliest experience at Atlas pizza on Division! And the pizza was perfection!! I'm a big garlic lover and the sauce was perfectly garlicky and the dough was soooooo good! I know it's a small thing to get big feelings about but it was really this employee that made me feel safe and taken care of since I was alone at night and just wanted to chill for a sec, eat and relax. I told her I didn't have the money, which I didn't at the time, and after the transaction the guy behind the counter asked me if he could give my daughter a quarter! Then I went to sit outside to be with our dog who was tied up. Pizza Week Review: 2 of 10 consecutive pizza slices I just love atlas, always such a nice environment, nice staff, and just great options, they must have a half dozen or more pies at each given moment. I have been to atlas a handful of times over they years as location permits, and I do love they're attitude most of all, sometimes, it is just what make a place that much better. Now this was one of my top (3) slices... I just loved it as a whole, and I could have eaten a whole pizza... The bacon, was amazing and very very heavy handed, the peppers were my favorite... I love those things, always!! Now add the honey, and you had me... I felt like I was wrapped up in its loving arms, it was whispering sweet nothings into my ear, and making me the happiest man on earth. I will say this, if this isn't a menu item... make it one, because it if f'kin amazing y'all. Even the greens were still vibrant and fresh... easily a top competitor. Amazing pizza. Wonderful staff. I definitely recommend ordering from them! They offer vegan options! A good gluten free crust too! The owner seems kind hearted and community oriented which makes me also feel so good about ordering from them. I called in to ask about their hours and he left a message to the community at the end of the recording encouraging everyone to hang in there during these times of pandemic and also the BLM movement. Atlas on N. Killingsworth is turning it out! I've ordered a few different pizzas... each has been so so good. Cheese and toppings are fresh, nicely proportioned. The tasty sauce is a little sassy spice. Their dough is fragrant, it's got excellent stretch/texture/chew... They box a mean Caesar with crisp romaine, lemon wedges and a house made dressing (OMG) that's a garlic/parm (paste) masterpiece. The regular (not stuffed) knots are buttery+seasoned bites of yum... and those knots with that Caesar can sideline the pizza. Which is fine, because the slices reheat on a cast iron plate perfectly later on. But the best part about the Killingsworth location; the super-sweet folks behind the counter... always with a warm, friendly welcoming and taking care to make it nice and make it and tasty every time :) read more

Arcade games and pinball for the kids (and adults), a good selection of beer, and the pizza and knots were decent, enough for two stops! First visit I went with a slice of pepperoni and an Occidental blonde for $7.75. I also got a "small" salad and stuffed knot of the day (cream cheese, jalapeño, bacon), then went with a slice of cheese because I was starving. The slices are large, big enough to fulfill an appetite. I'd say it's a little on the thin and greasy side, but the sauce to cheese ratio was good. The small salad was HUGE, with greens, tomatoes, shredded carrots and onion. The second visit, I went with a slice of the chicken, bacon, onion. A little dry with no sauce, but still a large, filling slice. Coming from NY, it's not the best pizza I've had, but the place is a cool hangout (the Division St. location has The Simpsons arcade game which I HAD to play!), service is friendly, and the food is good. All that makes it a five-star kind of place to me. For seven bucks, the daily special gets you a big slice of pizza, a huge "small salad," and all the soda you can drink. There were six varieties of pizza slices: pepperoni and cheese, of course, but also vegan, veggie, meat and gluten-free options. And the slices were big and the crust is just how I like it: thin. The salad choices were garden, spinach, and Caesar (complete with lots of shaved Parmesan and real anchovies in the dressing). The three of us eating here each had a different kind of pizza and a different salad; we also had an order of the garlic knots. All very good, all very tasty, all very ample portions.
