Complimentary bread with blue cheese and butter on the side
    Anna A.

Went with a few of girlfriends for a girls night out dinner. Great comfortable ambience and the service were awesome. We ordered 3 entrees and some appetizers to share We tried the spicy lobster spaghetti, Josper smoked chicken breast and beef tenderloin My personal favorite of the night was definitely the smoked chicken breast. I did expect the chicken breast to be slightly dry cos of the lower fat content and the cooking procesd. But it was not. the pomme puree added so much flavor to the dish. But the downside was the glazed carrots were a bit to the raw side. will benefit from cooking a bit longer. I am not usually a potato fan but i have the say the mashed potatoes was very well done. Smooth and buttery with a slightly sweet kick to it I love the roasted wild mushroom with truffle fondue appetizer. I personally love mushroom and the sauce added so much flavor to the roasted mushroom. The inhouse made bread with blue cheese/butter on the side was definitely a bonus Would love to go back to try their seafood entrees

Celebrated my dad's birthday at Atlas Steak + Fish in Burnaby We shared the 55 oz Tomahawk Steak ($170) along with Truffle Parmesan Fries, Whipped Brie Mashed Potatoes, and Josper Roasted Veggies ($14 each). Everything was rich, flavourful, and cooked beautifully. They even surprised us with a Chocolate peanut butter marquis bar for dessert. It was the perfect way to end the night. Great food, great service, and great value for the quality and portions. Open Sunday to Thursday 3-11 PM, and Friday to Saturday till midnight. Food 5/5 Parking 5/5 (underground and street parking available) Ambiance 5/5 Service 5/5

It was our 21st Anniversary, and we celebrated here. At first, we ordered their famous cocktails, PASSIONISTA HIGHLANDER MARGARITA and their famous THE ATLAS OLD FASHIONED. As a starter, we had SEASONAL OYSTERS. For the main course, we ordered Cowboy Rib Steak, Seafood Mixed Grill. And for dessert, we had CRÈME BRÛLÉE. Service and ambience were perfect. Their friendly staff surprised us with a Chocolate peanut butter for our Anniversary.

Busy night but service is still excellent... consistency is the name of the game: Good food with chic...somewhat classic and somewhat modern vibes. Market value is "Pay what you get" kinda thing... For me its worth dining in here.:clean with huge parking courtesy of casino.. Alcohol beverages is available..good for large group, idk with kods tho... Im keep coming back in here.. Will be back soon: Kudos!

Wedge salad. It's huge. Good to share. Yummy too.

I have been here a few times and the place is great for dates, special occasions and even work functions. I like the soft warm lighting and ambience and depending on where you are seated, can create an intimate dinner at night. The service is consistently good and the servers do remember you, despite dining here 1-2x a year. They use Josper grill which I love as the meat tends to be tender without losing the flavor. Almost everything I've tried here are good. The wedge salad is huge and so fresh. Best to share if you're also getting a main. The cioppino is delicious. There is also baked Alaska which is like a dying dessert now as not many places serve it. Happy hour menu is small and simple. The highlight will be the 1/2 priced oysters ($2 each in Dec 2024, used to be $1+) and lobster roll (tiny but yummy). I like how this place has a good selection of both meat and seafood, making it easy to accommodate everyone's preference of entree. Best of all, free parking here as it is attached to the casino.

Great food & great service. Ambiance is modern & casual, it's inside a casino. For certain items on the menu you'll get a table side show like the dessert Baked Alaska. Highly recommend steak house if you're in Burnaby area.

    Happy Hour Menu

Dropped by for their Happy Hour with my sister. Located inside the building with the Casino. Parking lot for the casino or other paid parking outside. Nice large space with lots of tables. Their Happy hour does get busy sometimes so making a reservation is always recommended. Service was attentive & friendly during their Happy Hour. There are only a few items on their Happy Hour selection which was a bit disappointing. Both for food & drink. I would like to return to try their regular menu though. Half Priced Oysters - these were tasty but there are better & cheaper places for oysters in my opinion. I mean $11 for half dozen small oysters is steep, I think. Warm Prime Rib Bun - Cute mini slider size brioche bun with some juicy pieces of rib rib in between. On the mini side so you probably need about 2 or 3 to really get the idea of eating a full meal. Hand Rolled Meatballs Marinara - 2 large meatballs sitting in Marinara with a slice of garlic toast. This is probably the most filling and offers a nice protein kick. Even for a happy meal, still left with a steeper than expected bill. However, taste was great and no real complaints about the experience. It would be great to expand the Happy Hour menu to more than 4 food items though.

My girlfriend had her bday dinner here. We were super late for our reservation but we were seated thankfully! I had the lamb chop which was delish. Next time I'll try the steak. My friends pork tomahawk was a bit fatty. They were so nice to give a bday dessert. They also have happy hour which is a good deal for wine. It's right next to the casino which is great entertainment after dinner

The atmosphere here is really nice, with dimmed lights and live piano music although it's a bit loud from other tables. Their service was decent, but when we asked for help the other waiter ignored us and I guess we could only ask our own server? ‍ The crabcake was very rich and flavourful with pieces of crab meat, and I even bit into a shell. The porterhouse on the other hand, wasn't tender at all and it was really hard to chew. The quality of the meat just isn't there compared to many other steakhouse. the potatoes sides were good though. The star of the dishes were these mushrooms with truffle. It was super flavourful and delicious. Overall it was just ok, but I wouldn't drive all the way back here to eat again.

I've been to Atlas multiple times for happy hour it's always solid. Prices are well priced and they have a small drink selection for happy hour. The sliders are my favorite. Juicy and flavorful. The lobster rolls are always popular. For the main, the last visit I had the lamb. I felt like eating it rare this time and it was perfectly seared. It needed a tiny bit flavor but otherwise good.

    Josper Smoked Potato Chowder
    Jeff J.

Was here for a work event ~ The meal set was very delicious and well presented ~ unfortunately, due to my larger than norm appetite , this was not able to fill me up , I was hungry again by the time I got home ~ The Chowder was creamy and melts away in your mouth ~ The beef was cooked to perfection , but personally lacked flavor - aside from the stand alone taste of beef in general - there was so no additional flavors or anything that enhanced the experience - would go again for an event ~

Server was able to accommodate us as a walk-in party of 2 on a Saturday night around 5:30PM. Lots of meat and seafood dishes to choose from. Large complimentary bread offered as a starter. Entrees portions were very generous.

This was a surprising experience. The Marriott partnered restaurants have let me down recently, but Atlas did not disappoint. They have a special oven, which I believe is 1 in 5 within the word (or something like that.). Anyway, we were seated next to the pianist and he was playing all 2000 songs. Being the Millennials we are this was a treat! The Caesar salad was made table side. The complimentary bread wasn't great, but the blu cheese butter was full of flavor. My NY strip was cooked perfectly and because of the unique oven it had a nice char on the outside. We shared a crème brûlée for dessert and again, chefs kiss.

The steak was tender and cooked well, and it came with condiments like jus and steak sauce, which added to the experience. The two ladies were just talking off on the side and texting on their phone all in plain sight. I understand there may be downtime in any shift but it lowers the vibe of the dining experience and also our soft drinks took forever to come to our table. just a Coke and just a sprite - also no offer for refills or asking if we wanted other drinks. the food itself took a LONG time to come out - only two entrees, no appetizers or fancy platters. once the food did come out I was surprised that everything was SO salty. also weird it's auto served with ketchup and bbq sauce. My steak had a lot of gristle on it and typically when the waitress would check in how things were I'd either mention it or they would apologize for the cut - but neither of the servers came by. I also didn't want to risk waiting another half hour for mediocre food and service. a family came in and they were seated right near us even though the restaurant was empty so that was also weird seating. when our meals were over and plates taken away eventually, we waited again for 10 minutes for someone to come by so we could get our bill. it's a weird layout because it's like the restaurant wants to be boujie but the service and food just don't meet the criteria. Needless to say it was not a good birthday dinner and I wouldn't recommend it.

Included is a Summer Corn salad, choice of entree, and daily dessert. I made a reservation for my Mom and I for Wednesday evening at 7pm and the restaurant was quite empty though golf course was buzzing. Pro tip: There is free parking in front of the restaurant but it's also for the golf course and is pretty busy even on a Wednesday after 7pm so plan accordingly as street parking is a bit far away. We ordered the mussels as an additional appetizer in white wine broth and also each ordered the $45 menu. We both selected the Oven Roasted Beef Striploin and for dessert there was a choice of cheesecake with caramel sauce, cinnamon cheesecake, and black forest cake. My Mom chose the black forest cake and I ordered the cinnamon cheesecake. The mussels appetizer dish was quite generous in quantity for $23 and mussels were a good size. Served with 2 slices of toast, the white wine sauce was more watery than other places but still decent. For the $45 course, the Summer Corn salad comes with artisan greens, feta, carrot, radish, tomato, red onion, orange vinaigrette. This was a refreshing light start to the meal and we both really enjoyed it. For the slow roasted beef striploin, it was served with asparagus and bell peppers, mash potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and a red wine demi. The beef striploin was lean but not tough and was super trendy and juicy. Yorkshire pudding, which I'm usually not a fan of, was really warm and soft. Overall, a really solid dish that was generous in portion. Dessert was also solid for both the cinnamon cheesecake and black forest cake. We barely finished the dessert and both of us had leftovers of our entree to take home as we couldn't finish our food. Great value for a 3 course $45 meal for today's economy and the service was really friendly and warm.

Stepping into BMC is like taking a time-machine back to the 1960's. Decor looks straight out of an era when Polaroid cameras ruled the photography world. The restaurant itself is moderately sized, but they were able to accommodate our party of 12. Restaurant was very dimly lit; most of the light was coming from the setting sun. The menu had as many choices as a typical White Spot. Prices were reasonable, but entrees could be upgraded which could cause prices to escalate if you weren't prudent. For example, I ordered the steak but got the lobster upgrade which raised the price by 30%. And, it was the lower-grade Caribbean lobster instead of the much juicier Atlantic lobster. It took a long time for the food to begin arriving. But, we did have a larger party that night. But, after a long wait, all our food arrived almost all at once. Presentation was good, and portion size was adequate. My steak was medium rare even though I had requested rare. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals, and a few were unable to finish their food. Service was only okay. If they weren't taking your order or delivering your food, you didn't see much of the staff. And, the restaurant wasn't exactly busy either. We did ask a server to take a group photo of our table, and they happily obliged. I'd skip the round of golf and go straight to the restaurant.

Food: 1/3 Service: 1/1…read moreAmbience: 1/1 For me, Time & Place is 3/5 - the waitress was attentive and the ambience was deifnitely what you would expect from a hotel restaurant - kinda quiet and cozy, with tv showing sports if you're dining alone and need entertainment - however let's talk about the food and drinks. For drinks we ordered Sangria, and it had the saddest amount of fruit in it I've ever seen. Other restaurants I've ordered Sangria in have a pitcher or container with lots of fruit to give it flavour. At Time & Place there were 3 super small pieces of strawberry floating around in the drink, and it didn't even taste like Sangria, just wine. For a place that is more upscale (read: more expensive) that is extremely shameful that they are skimping on fruit for their Sangrias like this. As for food - personally I found it to be super bland. Good thing the table came with salt and pepper so I could season my own food, which I will say that after seasoning it myself (a lot) it was actually quite delicious. I had the Miso & Spiced Honey Glazed Black Cod and the fish and vegetables were cooked well. Overall I enjoyed my dish BUT only after seasining it a ton myself, which in a relatively upscale restaursnt such as this I really shouldn't have to. So overall, 3/5. It wasn't terrible, but to be honest I think there are better options in the area for food that I don't need to season myself to enjoy.

Since it was happy hour, we also decided to try their truffle fries and let me tell you..... I don't even like fries, and I LOVED these fries! I don't know if its the batter or how they did it, but they were super crispy, not soggy, flavourful, and the truffle dip was delicious as well. 12/10 for the fries alone! For my 3 course menu, I chose the mussels (excellent, 5/5) beef short rib (tender, 5/5) and key lime pie (crust was a bit soggy, 4/5). Overall the portion sizes were very generous and the food was served at a reasonable pace. I would return for the fries alone! Presentation was beautiful. The restaurant looks clean, comfortable, which made me feel relaxed as soon as I walked in. The food was very good and easy to enjoy, even we are not familiar with Italian food. The dishes were well presented and looked fresh. The pasta was cooked nicely, not too soft, and the sauce had a rich and comforting taste. The flavors were balanced and not too heavy, which made the meal enjoyable from start to finish. The service was friendly and attentive. The staff were polite, patient, and helpful when explaining the menu. They made sure everything was okay and did not rush us, which made the dining experience even better. Overall, Claudio's is a great place for a casual meal or a nice dinner with friends or family. It is a good choice if you want to try Italian food in a comfortable and welcoming environment. I would be happy to come back again.
