    $100 champagne during brunch
    Deirdre T.

Brunch and culture mixed into one. The inside is a content creators dream. Beautifully and thoughtfully curated with vibrant urban art and decor. Even the restroom area allows for great photos and selfies. Our food was delicious. We ordered the French toast to share as an appetizer, the catfish and grits, and the lamb chops and grits. Both were done very well with a nice crunch to the fish and perfectly cooked chops that were tender and well seasoned. The sauce that accompanied both dishes were also phenomenal. The service was great as well. We enjoyed $20 hookah, $100 Moet/Chandon champagne as apart of the brunch specials. They offered a $5 French 75 but it lacked any flavor and tasted like a lemon drop than a French 75. Expect to pay the auto 20% as most of "our" restaurants charge no matter the party size. I will definitely return for dinner one day.

Ambiance was great! Very neat and clean setting. Customer service was amazing. We came in on Mother's Day and We sat at the bar, we were still served immediately and the food came out in a very timely manner. Can't wait to return! Also, the prices are very reasonable.

I had heard about Atlas for some time now, but finally got around to trying it for Valentine's Day brunch. Our server was super nice, providing some recommendations for what we should try and also being very honest about some menu items such as the red velvet waffles that had been sent back. The catfish and grits were so good flavorful and the texture of the grits were super creamy. The watermelon carafe mimosa (for only $15!) had the perfect amount of champagne to juice ratio. My friend ordered the cinnamon toast, waffles, and wings. I will say that the presentation of the cinnamon toast waffles looked a bit bland. It didn't look much different from regular waffles, but the lemon pepper chicken was seasoned pretty good. The place itself was decorated very nicely. The bathroom area looked like a Valentine's Day spread from Beyoncé's Renaissance album photo book with the huge horse coming from the grass wall. This place clearly does themes very well. After living in Houston for sometime now it's still surprising to me that places like this charge valet for a huge parking lot where I could easily access a parking spot myself. I guess at least this valet parking was only $10.

The food was great, and although the service was a bit slow, it was Galentine's Day and the restaurant was pretty packed, so it was completely understandable. The vibes were perfect. The Galentine's Day menu was perfect not overpriced and full of great food and drink options.

I went to Atlas for their Christmas grinch brunch that took place every Saturday in December. The decor of the place was super cute it really put you into the Christmas spirit, children were even allowed to attend. The food was tasty the pizza was fresh and tree shaped .and wings were smaller which I prefer. My waitress was very attentive and assisted us with placing our orders before last call in the kitchen. There is music playing but not so loudly that you can't hear your company.

Came here on a Saturday night with my girls. The inside is actually very small, I was shocked. Just like the rest of Houston it's a section only kind of vibe but they do have some seating at the bar maybe if you come early. The DJ they had that Saturday was pretty good with his mix of Afrobeats and hip hop The bathrooms are gender neutral so both men and women stand in the same line to use the bathrooms, just a heads up if you're not comfortable with that. Valet is also $40 and then $20 to self park which is so insane to me lol

A vibe, good music, staff and food! We had Tee as our waitress she was so sweet and helpful. Drinks were a tad slow to come out but it was pretty busy. Heads up: be prepared to valet Food: definitely want to eat here you can't go wrong

The ambience, food, drinks and location are all nice . It's located right behind where Nomad used to be. That area has so much for a night out you can't go wrong. They're open till 2am. We came in during happy hr 5-10pm and it did not disappoint $0.75 wings $10 pizza $6 lemon drops $9 fench 75 $3 shots They have a decent size patio and a good dj. Irs loud inside but outside you can hear the music and those at your table. The drinks are strong and the food is flavorful. We ordered lemon pepper and honey bbq wings and bbq chicken pizza. The food came out quickly and was cooked well. The pizza was ok in flavor the wings were better. We ordered a few different flavors of lemon drops. Our waitress Mya was so sweet and attentive. I highly encourage making reservations early. After a certain time it's $100 for a table. They parking is a bit of a hassle. As they share the parking lot with a few other businesses. It was chaotic. There was valet for $20 the stand is by Juliet so I wasn't sure if that was for the entire lot. The bathroom has good light and decor for a cute photo opportunity. I do wish they had more heaters on the patio. Overall a cool new spot with good drinks, food and prices. Just wish parking and patio heating was better.

Sunday brunch was very good. Do make reservations. We did an early reservation because we had our kids with us. Party of 8 at 11am, we were 1 of 3 parties at the time. The pancakes were made table side. Good brunch specials. Catfish and grits is a must try!

During my spring break in Houston, Texas, my friends and I were looking for a quick hangout spot for the evening. Atlas ultra lounge was highly recommended, so we decided to try them. Even though we didn't have a reservation, which is highly recommended, we were able to be seated in no less than 10 minutes. As soon as we were seated, we received service immediately, which we always appreciate. Atlas has such a chill, relaxed vibe, with great music and multiple sporting events displayed on the multiple TVs. We ordered their sliders plus truffle fries and chicken wings, which were a 10 out of 10. The wings were fried so crispy and were packed with a lot of moist flavor as well. If you're looking for a fun hangout spot for a random Friday evening or a nice turn up for you and your friends, definitely check out Atlas ultra lounge.

OH. MY. GAWD. Where do I even begin?! This place was an absolute VIBE from the moment we walked in and were greeted by Rayonna and Trinity to the moment we floated out on a mimosa cloud. IMMACULATE doesn't even do it justice. The hosts welcomed us like royalty, and the whole place? Chef's kiss. It's the exact brunch aesthetic I live for -- fun, modern, upscale, with just the right dash of classy party energy. Think "brunch turned bougie day party," and you're halfway there. Now let's talk about our ICONIC waitress, Lina the baddie. She was everything. From fire menu recs to keeping us in the know on all the specials, to just being an absolute joy to talk to -- she truly understood the assignment. Vibes were HIGH. Oh, and the DJ? Had us dancing in our seats the whole time. Not even exaggerating. Now for the main event: the food. Whew. The shrimp and grits? Gone in two seconds flat. The mimosas? Sparkling, tingling magic. The hookah? That girl. And the best part? You don't need to sell a kidney to afford it. In this economy, that's a blessing. Long story short: when I'm back in Houston, I'm running here again. And y'all? You need to go. Like... now.

I ate at Norigami Tuesday night and it was great as were the cocktails served up at the nextdoor bar called Hidden Bar. On Tuesday, I tried the Thai Chili Ginger Margarita ($13) and it was great, complete with a hunk of candied ginger which I "gingerly" consumed throughout my drink experience...see what I did there? Next, I had the Three Dots and a Daiquiri ($13) with Rum, Lime, Velvet Falernum, All Spice and Pineapple and it was very similar to one of my favorite tiki drinks, the Three Dots and a Dash, complete with 3 luxardo cherries. To finish, I had the absolutely incredible Golden Laurel ($16) with Gin, Italicus Bergamot, House Greek Botanical Bitters and Sea Salt. It is equally beautiful served with a clear bay leaf and delicious. Last night, I was guided by the friendly bartender to try the Et Tu Banana" ($15) with Banana Bourbon, Spiced Pear, Creme de Banane, Campari and Citric Acid. I was a little worried about the cocktail being overly banana-y but it wasn't at all. It was a fantastic drink. For my last call, he recommended the Left Hand ($13) with Bourbon, Campari, Sweet Vermouth and Chocolate Bitters. Again, fantastic. Both nights, the bartenders and drinks were fantastic. Ambiance is nice with moody lighting. They even have a bidet toilet seat in the bathroom! Hidden Bar is a "hidden" gem, for sure. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

As you walk in, you'll be greeted by the 70's/80's/90's bar music of rock/disco and chessboard floor pattern. Then you get your drink order from one of the many pleasant bartenders (or Louie) and sit either inside or outside and think to yourself you're the luckiest person in the world. So they specialize in three things: cocktails/liquors, cigars, and patio seating. When you combine all three of those, it's the perfect bar. Cocktails such as ol fashions and cape cods are plentiful here. I also appreciate they do a new york sour here which is an underrated cocktail. Cigars are sold here too and they have cutters and plenty of torch lighters to spark them up. Outside on their patio deck has plenty of seating with some of those heaters in case you houstonians can't handle the cold. Only gripe is I wish they had a larger wine selection as they only have bordeuax or a red blend. Not sure if they serve white wines either. But there's wine bars for that. You're here for the hard stuff or a quick beer, maybe a cigar, and definitely a peace of mind. That's what keeps me coming back!

For the past 2 years (Oct '24 and '25), I've visited Cursed Cauldron pop-up at Botonica for their Bewitched Burlesque performance. The ticket price is approachable, and the space is adorably decorated. The performers are all fun and really get into the themes - no 2 performances are the same, either, because they feature different artists each week. There is a special drink menu for the pop-up... they are quite expensive at $16 per cocktail, but they are tasty & they do offer a happy hour until 6pm on weekdays. There are some snacks you can buy at the bar, but I wouldn't recommend having dinner there. I wish they had more witchcraft classes, because the Yule Log class I attended in 2023 was the besssst but I'll continue visiting their pop-ups, regardless. Very festive and lots of fun - especially for the witchy girlies out there!
