I judge a ice cream place but simply how their vanilla ice cream taste. This place gets it right. The vanilla is delicious and does not have an artificial taste to it like other places. Big scoops is always nice. The staff is also very friendly, it is a small shop so there are only a few customers allowed inside at a time. The sandwich was good. The service was in need of some better training. French fries were cold and had obviously been sitting out for a long time before we got them. Seriously! The best burger I've ever had! I ordered the double burger and fries. I couldn't believe how big and delicious it was. Tops any burger I've ever had and only $7.50 loaded. Fries are fab, a touch salty but delish and seasoned. I've also had the Dole Whip, add a little vanilla ice cream then perfection! Staff is excellent, quick, they have it down. We came here on a warm June day to try the ice cream. We decided to get chocolate malts. We had to wait about 15 minutes but they were well worth the wait. My husband likes his malt made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. I got mine with chocolate ice cream and chocolate syrup and we both got a double helping of malt. Meh. Only game in town for deli type sandos. Pastrami sando large but might as well have heated up some grocery store pastrami and slapped a couple of pickles on huge roll. Sweet! Enough said - it's a creamery! I personally find ice cream in the snow delightful and this shop has a nice assortment of flavors as well as food offering me from grilled cheese to hotdogs (fun). We were so excited to try this place based on the great reviews. We waited outside with our electronic pager for about 15 minutes. As other people were getting their orders faster, we went back in to check. We were told that the pager would go off when our order was ready. We waited another 20 minutes and then checked in. We were told that they misplaced our order. I understand that mistakes happen, of course. And yet there was nothing done to make it right. read more

Club sub (they forgot the bacon) Ordered the "Club Sub" with Avacado on the side. Upon trying the first half, realized there wasn't bacon. I called and asked to be reassured my sandwich was supposed to have bacon; they said yes , I said I just placed an order (bacon grilled cheese, club sub, and two tomato soups) (about 30+ min total wait (had time to get a coffee at higher grounds in a huge line while waiting on our food) ) after I got the order at atomic cow; I had walked back to our place and (Upon discovering my sandwich was missing bacon) when I asked over the phone about the bacon and to have my sandwich remade possibly; they stated they wouldn't remake my sandwich but I could come get the bacon if I wanted to. I asked if I could just get my money back for my sandwich and they said I'd have to have the entire order brought back and refunded. (My bf was already eating his Grilled Cheese and soup) so that wasn't an option. They did give me my bacon (at this point I've already eaten my soup and half my sandwich without the bacon) . I think they should have remade my sandwich , or given me the money back for the sandwich they messed up ($11) , just wish they would have handled this better or offered a free scoop of ice cream for them messing up or something. Not good customer service etiquette . Only reason why I'm giving three stars is because we frequent this spot and usually their food and service is better. read more

This family run business has terrific homemade ice cream but their hours of operation are terrible. It's as if they don't really care about drawing business. They are open only a few hours right in the middle of the day. During the summer, when locals and visitors roam the streets in the evenings, they are simply unavailable.
