Called this evening after noticing that a voucher expires today, 4th. We were told that it has expired as of today since its "already the 4th" but it is good at face value. (That would be true tomorrow, 5th, onwards). This is new to us. Every coupon, every sale is valid until the expiry date up to closing or before midnight, whichever comes first. Still searching for a decent, non-chain pizza joint in California, and unfortunately, my search didn't come to an end here. Ordered a pepperoni, sausage, and garlic which was pretty tasty to start with. The sauce was good, the cheese was decent, and the pepperoni was on point, but the sausage was nothing spectacular, kind of bland in my opinion. At this point, I would have given it 4 stars easy, but about 6 hours later when I decided to go to sleep I realized why the call it Atomic Pizza...I had the worst heartburn ever. I literally felt like I was going to be sick with every toss and turn, like a mini-Hiroshima was going down in my stomach. Apparently I'm a glutton for punishment because when I ate the leftovers for lunch today, it had the same exact effect but in less time and with an even worse afterburn. Who's running this business??? It was my family's first time there and we dined in, we won't be going back. Pizza was decent but the place is GROSS! To start, there was no AC and it was hot in there. I ordered my pizza and then sat down, this is when I started to notice everything. The two tables were super wobbly, very annoying. I started noticing the floor was dirty, crumbs everywhere, built up grime in the corner of the tiles. This floor hadn't had a good mop in months. They have these nice backless high top stools facing the window. The base on the stools are chrome. There is so much crap an dust on these bases, this does not happen overnight, this is months of neglect. I cant deal with the wobbly table so I ask the heavy set guy if he can clean the black tiled counter, it's a long one for a bigger groups. Of course this counter is dirty so I ask him to clean it. He starts to wipe it down and I swear to God the towel he used looked like someone wiped their butt with it. The towel which should have been white was tie dye combination of brown, red and yellow. Sooooo we just stayed at the wobbly table. Oh when I went to fill my drink for the first time, soda squirts all over my fingers, whoever installed the nozzle for the soda had it backwards, it sprays everywhere. Last but not least, the nail in the coffin. We go to leave I can't even place all my trash in the bin. As I open the swinging door to the trash bin I put some trash in there and it won't close because it's overflowing with trash! It's 11 in the morning (estimated time)when we went!!! Tried Atomic Pizza for the first time today and it went above and beyond my expectations. I was so impressed by the flavor and quality of their ingredients. The bread that holds the pizza together is not too thin, so your pizza won't become totally soggy if it is sitting for a while. The crust also tastes amazing and doughy and perfect. I usually don't finish or eat the crust, but the crust is really good here. The price was not bad at all and they have some special deals if you are feeding a larger group. I only wish it was air conditioned inside because it was too hot to eat there when I went. read more

I wish we would have known about this place sooner. We've had the Pineapple Pizza, Margherita Pizza, and the Garlic Knots; each of them sooo good. Especially the garlic knots, oh my. The owner seems passionate about his business, they have been early on every delivery, and they are nice every. single. time. Refreshing difference from the people taking phone orders & delivery elsewhere. we went on opening day and i will most definitely be a repeat customer. WE ended up getting four pizzas, wings, salad, and cinnamon knots. The pizza was delicious, the buffalo chicken pizza was amazing, and the wings were perfect. When ordering the pizzas go for the parmesan crust, i highly recommend it! Atomic is hands down the best pizza I have had in northern OC. They almost have it 100% right. The toppings were delish and the sauce was outstanding. My husband usually has me ask for extra sauce because pizza in the area tends to be very dry. With Atomic, I forgot to ask and hubby assumed I had because it was sauced perfectly. My one and i mean one very small criticism is that I prefer my crust a little more cooked. We ordered thin crust and it exceeded my expectation as usually when I order thin, we get a regular crust.
