Only taking a star away because we have one daughter who doesn't like cheese on her pizza and they say they're not able to make a pizza with half no cheese, it's either all or nothing. The owners mother makes all the cookies homemade - delicious! There is no seating area so it's pick up only. When I tried to order online all the pizza options weren't listed so I just called and placed my order. There's a little waiting area you can stay in until your pizza is ready. Erratic pizza and mostly poor service. Sometimes the pizza is decent, so we go back since it's close to our home. Next time the pizza is typically burnt and many times the pizza is cut into an odd number of pieces with some huge and others tiny. Today we paid $26+ for a large Meat Lover's pizza that is supposed to include meatball. Instead of meatball our pizza contained black burnt bits of ground beef. When picking it up there were 3 employees in the front spinning around doing nothing, at least 2 in the back standing and talking and the guy who acted as a cashier just mumbled something that was incomprehensible. The dough had a nice rise that offered a nice balance between chewiness and softness. The mozzarella cheese was standard, similar to most pizzerias. My only slight critique would be the sauce. I couldn't quite decide if it needed a touch more or if it was simply lacking a bit in the flavor. We also tried the wings. Which were cooked great and generously coated in either their BBQ or buffalo sauce (they did not skimp here). While I would have preferred them a bit crispier, they were still very enjoyable and flavorful. Overall this place is a solid choice, and I can see myself ordering from here again. Hoping this reaches ownership... blackjack has been our household favorite for years and we've always happily recommended it. Going on 3 orders within the past month now we've noticed a BIG drop off in the blackjack quality we're used to. The pizza is noticeably thinner in how deep or thick it is (which is what we loved), it's also VERY oily now. I'm assuming prices for their ingredients have gone up, but I would much rather spend a few extra dollars for the previous quality vs whatever is happening now. At first we thought it was just a one off thing because we ordered so close to closing and perhaps the young kids working were eager to get to their weekend plans (I get it). But after giving it 2 more tries it's been the same, thin and oily quality.
