We finally went to eat at this spot and got a plate of their tenders- OMG FRESH- not greasy- crispy and it was the bomb!! The food came out pretty fast. We went back a few days later and ordered to go- we asked for no spices on fries but instead they added xtra spice on the fries and xtra spice on the chicken which made the food extremely spicy- they forgot our cole slaw- I didn't call to complain but I hope it was just a misunderstanding. My first time here and I was rather happy with the experience. The staff are friendly. I have seen many other people mention it but the staff in general seem to have a friendly attitude. I got a chibab bowl and some fried mochi cheese balls. The cheese balls were a sweet/savory thing. The dough was a sweet fried mochi dough just like a mochi donut however it had a semisoft cheese filling that was creamy and savory. They are good overall, and at least a fun one and done. The Chibab was a Korean style fried chicken (thigh) pieces with what they called a spicy powder seasoning. It was served on rice with small sides of corn and coleslaw. The flavor was wonderful and the texture of the dish was great. The coleslaw and corn added a nice extra flavor to chicken and rice. The sauce was a little under used and I'd have liked a bit more. Probably the same for the coleslaw and the corn but overall it was a really satisfying bowl. Price was they are fair prices and I think its a great value for the food. The restaurant is a small diner with very few tables. Its fine for small groups but it isn't set up for parties. Overall for yelp I am happy giving it 5 stars. read more

I was waiting for the right time to enjoy some good chicken, so I brought my entire family here for dinner. Once again, the owner welcomed us with her warm smile, which always makes the experience even better. We ordered the half-and-half (sweet & spicy), waffle fries, the deluxe chicken sandwich, and tteokbokki. The fried chicken consistency is unbelievable -- just as perfect as the first time I came. Super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. This time, though, my eyes were on the sandwich. It comes with two large tenders, coleslaw, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and sauce -- and honestly, it's one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. The bun is soft (I believe it's a potato bun), which makes it even better. The tenders are extremely crispy -- not soggy like some other places -- and the portion size is generous. You can literally hear the crunch when you bite into it. The sauce is very similar to Cane's sauce -- the one everyone loves -- and it pairs perfectly with the crispy chicken. The tteokbokki tasted just like the street vendors in Korea. My mom loves tteokbokki and really knows authentic flavor, and she said this one is even better than many local spots. That says a lot. Tried the 20 pc lemon pepper wings ($32.99) and half soy garlic chicken ($15.99). The lemon pepper is slightly different than a normal lemon pepper like at a Wingstop with a more asian-infused twist. The fingerlings are the sauced, boneless option and the portion was generous. I ordered a medium and it definitely seemed more like a large at other places. Kspicy sauce was delicious, gochujang forward. Not very spicy but definitely bold. It was my favorite thing. The mu, or pickled radish, was great, it cut through the heavy sauce of the chicken. The bomb fries were good but I wish they were in the box vs the bowl. It was slightly difficult to eat a bite with chicken and fries. The taste was great, though I wish they put more of their house sauce on it. The fries hold up well to the sauce. I love the addition of corn and green onions. The chibab bowl was probably the least exciting. The plus was they had a generous portion of chicken to rice ratio. I think I need a different sauce because the soy garlic is very light compared to some I've had on the past. If you prefer like flavor, this will hit. In all of this dishes, the fry on the chicken was perfect. It was crispy, juicy, not greasy, and just plain delicious. You can tell they season their batter, the bite was great. Instead of a single chicken piece, the sandwiches are made with chicken tenders (breast) which are lightly battered and fried. They were crispy but not oily at all. My deluxe had cole slaw. lettuce, pickles and tomato which I needed to balance the heat of the chibab sauce. This was the first time I have seen lettuce/tomato on a sandwich with cole slaw but it works. The chibab sauce is like a spicy comeback sauce. I was full by the last bite of my sandwich so I don't regret neglecting to order sides. I got full for ten bucks of quality made-to-order ingredients so I am happy. I arrived around 6:15pm on a friday and didn't get my food until 7:20, almost an entire hour wait for a chicken sandwich and a bulgogi bowl. After 6:50 they started letting people know its going to be a wait then switched to sold out. If it seems busy ask wait time and don't expect a quick bite.
