We stayed at the MGM Tower and absolutely loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the room was spotless with a beautiful view. We parked at the Bogota garage, which was only about a 5-minute walk, and paid $10 when we exited--very convenient. We also used the pool, and it was way better than we expected--so clean and relaxing. Overall, such a nice and well-kept hotel. We'd love to come back! read more

Love the stay at MGM Tower... after the last 2 stays at Stay Well Resort room, I am spoiled and will honestly book that room going forward. Guaranteed non-smoking and purified air (aromatherapy). In addition, the shower has 2 different settings from top and regular shower. Relaxation! Spacious shower with a bench as well. Renovated rooms are nice and comfortable. The carpeting on each floor was re-done in 2024 so much nicer than the squid game look LOL... Parking - Pay 1 time for hotel guests vs each in an out of the hotel... make sure you save the 1st receipt and exchange it as you go in and out. Remember your parking spot, take a picture or tag it. Don't leave any valuables in cars... There are many places to eat at the Borgota while staying there...along with casino and shops. Can also dine at other restaurants in AC but make sure you tell them at the parking when you leave so that you can get a parking voucher... the rates have gone wayyyy up! Earn MGM rewards for every stay and play...sign up if you're not a member. Points expire if no activity within 6 months. Looking forward to going back! read more

Luxury by the bay! MGM has nice rooms, is clean and has a beautiful pool! The rooms have a good view. The beds are comfy. I like to sit and have a cocktail and a small bite to eat in the Sunroom by the pool before going out. It's also a good place for breakfast. The pool area is a beautiful place to hang out! There is an indoor and outdoor pools. The indoor pool feels like an island with the palm trees and plants. The pool is about 4 ft. It is a nice temperature l. The pool area has air conditioning in summer but it is not too cold. The outdoor area is also nice with plants and some trees. There are 2 pools. Both are about 4 ft. The pools are good to swim, walk in the water or just sit and relax. Lounge chairs are available but can fill up quick in summer. Umbrellas are available also. You can get food and cocktails outside. MGM has lots of restaurants and is connected to Borgata so there is lots to do. There is a parking garage by Borgata and a surface lot by MGM. Just in case e you need it, a heliport is also located in the surface lot ;) read more

Wasn't too happy about the semi dirty bed sheets and the mold in the bathroom so I ended up staying only one night. It felt so separated from the main hotel so maybe next time I will just stay at the actual Borgata. I appreciate the size of the room however the lack of attention to cleanliness really took away from the overall experience for me. Great view though! I will give them that hands down. read more

We came here for a last minute AC trip and were very impressed. It has the most "Vegas" look and feel of any of the AC hotel/casinos. The only downsides are that you're not on the Boardwalk side of AC so you're really walking distance to Harrah's and the path along the water. Take an Uber to get to the main part of AC. Also, $10 for self parking is annoying but seems to be common these days. The casino is large with just about any game you can imagine at all different prices, though drink service was lacking. The sports book has very comfortable chairs for watching a game but the bar is only open certain hours. They have several restaurants, and bars though some seem to only be open on certain days. Don't miss the food hall for a wine bar with the best Italian food I've had in quite a while as well as a coffee stand with reasonably priced fresh hot tasty coffee and good baked goods. They also have a 24 hour grab and go convenience store type section. The MGM tower has an indoor pool so I'll have to check that out next time I come here. It looked relaxing though and had a poolside bar. There's also a fitness center with a few treadmills, etc. The room in the MGM tower was bright and clean with a comfortable bed and a good view of the river. This is THE place to stay in AC and I'll stay here again if I head back to AC sometime. read more

I recently stayed at the MGM tower at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. The parking was plentiful and right beside the main entrance, so we didn't need to walk a lot. It is my understanding that this tower was recently renovated and it was previously the water club, so it's a little more lux than the other towers. I could tell they did a make over , everything was very clean and looked great. The staff was very welcoming and the tower in itself was very quiet unlike many other places I've stayed at in AC. You couldn't hear a thing, just peacefulness, which made for a good nights rest. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfy. They have two indoor pools and a jacuzzi on the main level (the pools are heated ) & a gym. I did also see the outdoor pools (must be fun in the summer). I also did see they have a nice spa but I didn't get to try it out. I did do room service and ordered their steak and eggs and pancakes and everything was delicious. The room was clean, cool, and the view was pleasant. Depending on what you might be looking for, the hotel has shopping, food, and entertainment all located within 10 to 50 feet of the lobby. The Borgata is typically my first choice to stay in the Atlantic City Marina area. The hotel was at capacity, so I was directed to stay at The Water Club. After my first visit, I would say it was good and I would visit again. TWC has its own parking and valet. You can still park in the Borgata garage if that's what you're used to, but it is quite a walk to TWC check in from there. The front desk agent was great, and I was in the room quickly. The room has everything you need, similar in layout to Borgata's room, but noticeably dated furniture. The walk back and forth to Borgata is through a retail walkway; it was actually closer than I expected and you're in the heart of the casino in a few minutes. Other than room service, all of the food/beverages are in Borgata. When entering the room elevator lobby, there is a similar security key check as Borgata; security certainly seemed adequate. TWC has outdoor pools for the summer and an indoor pool that I did not visit. The outdoor pool feature, however, has been duplicated by an even bigger outdoor pool at Borgata, so it is a matter of personal preference. Overall, TWC doesn't have the energy and crowd of the Borgata hotel tower, but I'm sure there are guests that prefer a quieter hotel experience and maybe TWC is better for that. I still think I prefer Borgata overall, but TWC worked for me as well. read more

It's been years since I've stayed in the Water Club at Borgata and after hearing the news that the Water Club was getting renovated I've been anxiously awaiting a comped room offer. My girlfriend and I had plans to stay over to celebrate her birthday in a comped Classic King. A few days prior to our reservation I called Borgata and was offered a Water Club king at no additional charge and gladly accepted the offer. We checked in right at 4pm. The long walkway from the casino floor to the Water Club lobby is nice as it's away from the vast majority of other casino guests and foot traffic (it's very hectic and clustered near the doors of the regular classic lobby). Check in was easy and the staff members we dealt with were very professional. We were given a newly renovated room on the 28th floor (renovations will all supposedly be completed by Memorial Day). There are hotel room key scanners at the doorway leading into the elevators along with a guard making sure you scan in your key. There are also room key scanners on the elevators to ensure you have an active key prior to taking the elevator upstairs. The rooms were clean, bright, and elegant. Our view was amazing overlooking the Golden Nugget marina, inlet, ocean, and other casinos. The bed was comfy. The shower had good water pressure. Lots of usable outlets around the room. The lighting in the bathroom could've been better but that's the least of my worries. Checkout was 11am but we were out of the room by 9. Express checkout was easy as we just had to sign our room key booklet and drop the keys into the check out box. The rooms were very much nicer than the classic rooms and it's much more peaceful in the Water Club lobby. If you have the opportunity to stay in the Water Club as opposed to the classic hotel, do it. I have reservations in the Water Club again for May and cannot wait. read more

I'm too used to being in Atlantic City casinos and smelling cigarette smoke everywhere, in the hallways and in the nonsmoking rooms. Water Club rooms are clean, and did not smell like smoke! The view from the room was fabulous. Be sure to check out all the pools, but especially the pool on the top floor. The view from the top floor (spa and pool) was breathtaking, and you are surrounded by floor to ceiling windows. Several pools to choose from, indoor and outdoor. Steps away from Borgata for gaming and dining. - comfortable beds - clean - nice shower with good water pressure Down sides... pools close really early - most close at 6pm; we asked for a plastic bag for our wet bathing suits, they don't have any (I suppose it's the ban on bags)? I visited the MGM Tower pool after discovering it on the hotel room TV. The staff was professional, and capturing a picture here is better during off-peak times. It's the finest hotel pool I've encountered, and the parking rates are reasonable. What's even better is that you don't have to stay at the MGM Tower hotel in Bogota to access this specific pool, which offers both indoor and outdoor options. The old water club is now The MGM Tower. The rooms have been renovated so everything is fresh and new. Great new technology to check in, you don't even have to talk to anyone, everything is through the MGM app. Keyless entry, whatever you need is on the app. My only complaint, is they close the small little store where you can buy snacks and water, so you have to walk all the way to the other side of the hotel if you want anything after 8:00 p.m. and while they redid all the rooms, the pillows in the beds are not the best. I expect more plushness when you're talking about an MGM resort. The beds are kind of hard, and the pillows are just pillows. Staff that I talk to and ran into were very nice. read more

The smell of smoke even in the non-smoking area is very strong. Even in the non-smoking room, it was overwhelming and I couldn't sleep. Otherwise, the clientele and casino experience was excellent. Food choices are abundant and the breakfast buffet is exceptional. read more

I had a nice time here over this past summer, I like the pools at the mgm tower. The rooms are nice, I was given 3190 my last trip and it had a fantastic view service was great, check in and out is a mixed bag of nuts depending on who you get at the front desk. Overall better than in the past, especially once you get over the very bright and wild remodel of this tower, at least it was clean and smelled new and clean. read more

Very mediocre rooms. Could have been the Fairfield Inn, wish it was the Fairfield In . Nothing special at all. Services were a nightmare. Room service breakfast never delivered. Valet is a debacle. It takes a lot for me to post anything, but this was a JOKE. One guy working the valet. Nobody around in the middle of the day and it took 20 mins to get my car. This place is a dump. My past two stays here have been horrible. Dirty, run down. Housekeeping gave me a problem with a robe, I was in a suite, no robes or slippers ? Woman on phone took pleasure in saying no. Bed looked like it belonged to a homeless person. Jackhammer going off on Monday morning, pool was closed on Saturday due to private party, had to go to borgata pool where there was only 1 hot tub working and 20 people in it, really gross. Oh, and did I tell you about the bed ? Take a look at the nice pictures. I'm glad that I'm not staying or playing here anymore. Good luck with the remodel. It's only 10 years too late. read more

We really enjoyed our first experience at The Water Club, however, we're not completely sold that's its worth the heftier price tag than that of which they charge at Borgata, which has been my AC go-to for the past 17 years. We didn't mind too much because our visit was comped either way, but I feel some may feel a little let down when making the extra splurge if you/they too are accustomed to the accommodations at Borgata.... Sure, The Water Club is much more exclusive, a lot quieter and the gorgeous pool has been highlighted by The Real Housewives Of NJ, but the rooms themselves are pretty much the same. In fact, we feel the Borgata's are actually nicer. Crazy. They have the same INCREDIBLE beds and pillows, the same high end toiletries and the bench in the very spacious showers, which I LOVE! Really, the difference in the two comes down to the amenities and the quite frankly, the status. The Water Club has a truly beautiful lounge/bar complete with lush tropical plants, water features and a sweet fireplace perfect for cozying up in the cooler months. This was a highlight of our stay here! So nice!!! Very romantic! The Water Club is a bit farther from our usual haunts at this casino (Gypsy Bar, Buffet and The Music Box) but it's closer to the jitney to Brigantine, the outdoor adults only pool and Wolfgang Puck's restaurant, so depending on what you're hitting up while here, that may help make your decision about where to stay. I was happy to see the gorgeous floral arrangements and Chihuly pieces I love at Borgata here, too. Oh, I forgot, The Water Club has its own parking lot and although it's the same $5 price tag as Borgata, the lot is outside and not a garage which we found a bit odd for a place with a bigger price tag. Perhaps it's not completely fair for me to compare to Borgata, but when they charge a significant amount more than their attached counterpart, I feel a little comparison is justified and well, natural. It's not that The Water Club isn't elegant and pretty outstanding in general, it's just the Borgata is pretty amazing too, and a lot cheaper aaaaand maybe just my favorite ever, so perhaps I'm a bit biased. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was exactly what we were looking for in a mini escape. We were happy to have finally try the elusive Water Club, but will most likely stick to our old favorite, Borgata, unless that's sold out, we have a comp, and then we will gladly enjoy the quietness and jungle-like vibes found at The Water Club. *sign up for M Life card to earn points here and in Vegas!! Even though it's a separate building you never have to go outside since everything is connected to the Borgata, the casino and all the mall and restaurants. Ended up in the Water Club after being upgraded from Borgata. It was a weekend getaway for my wife and I as I had gotten her tickets to a show in the Borgata event center. Wonderful amenities here! If you have the opportunity to stay at Borgata, I highly, I highly recommend paying the up charge for The Water Club. Borgata itself is very nice but Water Club just has that edge. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are great. The rooms are newer than most Borgata rooms. They have that glass shower. We were able to get two joining rooms which was nice because we were a big group. The Water Club pool is 21+ but if you need a family friendly pool, you and the kiddos can still use the Borgata amenities including the Borgata Family Pool. Borgata Beer Garden/Pool strictly 21+. Pro tip: you can get an M Life card when you check in, so you don't have to wait in two lines. read more

This used to be my favorite place in Atlantic City. When owned by Boyd's, everything was super nice. Since MGM took over the service has gone down. I had a comp room stay during a convention. The front desk argued with me about my room booking. The room itself just seemed outdated and not nearly as clean as I remembered. In addition to the general frustration, I received a call at 7am the next morning informing me their was an issue with my credit card (there was not). Also the room and meals were all paid for by my mgm resort credits and casino comps. At no point should I be woken up at 7am to be harassed by the front desk. One final run of salt on the wound, after clearing all this up they still charged my Amex which I had to call Alex, it wasn't until I had my credit card company step in did things get resolved. This hotel is a dumpster fire. Absolute trash all around. Buffet was closed Vallet closed Food was awful at the old homestead. Call the front desk and its an hour wait. They are doing maintenance and the noise keeps you up all night. Been here 15 times and never was bad until MGM bought them. This is an absolute shame. Queenie the manager was awesome and that was the best part of my trip talking to her as we checked out. The pool is filthy and theres garbage in the pools! On a rapid decline The Water Club at Borgata was, at one time, the the finest accommodations in Atlantic City That time has come and gone Let's start with the lobby, the threadbare seating area that never was adequate to accommodate persons waiting to meet friends, is not something I would want to sit on. The Water Club rooms are woefully out of date. On a recent trip our room looked like it was from a NYC S.R.O. Furniture looked like it was ready for the dumpster. The bed had a mattress that was the consistency of rice pudding and and bocce balls The sink backed up. I attempted to use the ironing board and it collapsed. A quick look at the bottom revealed one end was broken off. If there was a hot iron on it, it could have caused a considerable injury. The windows were so dirty it looked like it was foggy outside despite it being a sunny day. BORGATA is making tons of money, between the pandemic cash give away infusion from the Federal Government, the swindling of the City with "in lieu of taxes" deal, the internet gambling cash bonanza and the nickel and diming on the casino floor, there is plenty of money to totally upgrade the hotel, top to bottom. Perhaps the board is more concerned about the huge bonus that they will vote for themselves. read more

The Water Club is as good as it gets in Atlantic City, and as close to Las Vegas style Resort and Casino as possible. I was fortunate enough to have family members who gave a friend and I, a comped room from Monday to Friday in mid-July. So unfortunately, I cannot say how much it cost, but from talking with other people, I know it was extremely expensive for a stay there. We had a room on the 14th floor overlooking basically all of Atlantic City, which was a beautiful view. Room was a good size, and by far the best part was the bathroom. The shower had a detachable head with then another rainforest style head above. One of the most relaxing showers I've ever taken. If you are an environmentalist, you may not like this because it felt like so much water was being used, but it was just too good to resist. We parked in the surface lot, and every single time we went to go inside the hotel, one of the valets opened the door for us, even if they had to go out of their way. Since the Water Club is connected to The Borgata, it's very easy access to everything else in the area. In fact, as soon as you walk from the Borgata to the Water Club, they pump in air that makes you seem like you're in a spa. The indoor pool area is also fantastic as it is only open to Water Club members, and much better than the outdoor pool. The indoor pool is surrounded by bamboo trees and makes for a highly relaxing environment. I'd recommend going early, as this area does get crowded later on in the day. The main reason that The Water Club doesn't get to five stars is a lot of little things that just add up really quickly. If you want internet in your room, that is a fee. If you want to go to the lap pool, unless you go at 6am, that is a fee. If you want to use the gym, that is an additional fee. Even if you are a guest at the hotel, you have to pay for parking. Considering how much you are already spending on a hotel like The Water Club, you'd think those amenities would be included, but they see them as just another way to make a quick buck off the customer. While the room was excellent, the shower was amazing, and the view was spectacular, it just didn't have that x-factor that made it the best ever. Bottom line is that The Water Club is really the best Atlantic City has to offer. If you're looking for luxury and a relaxing vacation, The Water Club is your best bet. read more

I haven't been AC for almost 3years and This place is new building. When we checked in time, they're very welcome and friendly. Pretty nice and our room was clean and Morden interior with nice view. Bed was very comfortable and bath room was nice. I like separate shower and bath room. We were so tired and didn't enjoy there pool but it looks like nice. We went to casino but it was long way to walked from our room. I would like to stay at this hotel again. I thought stay at the water club better than borgata. read more

Honestly so disappointed. We came to celebrate our anniversary and I booked the Water Club based on advertised amenities. We literally couldn't get anyone to answer the phone for anything, not room service, not the front desk, nothing. We came back to the room around 11:30pm and there was not one staff member at the front desk or anywhere in site. I understand it may be difficult to get employees right now, but charging hundreds of dollars per night when you can't hold up your end of the deal is just not fair. We stayed at the Hard Rock for our last visit and had a significantly better experience. Giving an extra star because the property is really beautiful and check in was easy, but unfortunately, I don't think we will be back. read more

We stayed here at the Water Club Friday evening for a comedy show at the Borgata. The Water Club is much quieter than the Borgata and in my opinion much better all around. They allowed us to check in at noon, we were put on the 8th floor. Upon arrival to the room there was an issue with our bed. We were immediately moved to an even better room. Our new room was located on the 29th floor. What a view! The room was nice, clean and well taken care of. My only issue was with the bed. The beds seem to slant down towards the headboard. The showers are great! Very roomy and they have a rain shower head. The hallways, elevators and staff were all in tip top shape. The pool area was crowded and it took a while to find a seat. Overall we had a great experience at the Water Club and we would go back. The prices are a bit higher than other hotels but you get what you pay for. read more

Stayed here while attending a work conference and was astonished that I got paid to stay here! This was definitely not the dingy A.C. hotel I was dreading. The style is very soft and feminine, but not in a girlie/hen-party way. As the other reviewers mentioned, the bath products are from L'Occitane, the minibar is outrageous (still $8 for M&Ms!), the map on the back of the door is wrong and there is no vending machine next to the ice machine. But it was seriously luxurious room (alas I didn't get to try the spa stuff). The meeting rooms has good wifi connection (cost $10 for 24-hrs), plenty of outlets along the walls for laptops/phone chargers, the catering was delicious. Not only was there lunch but the coffee breaks all had snacks -- even setup a candy bar! read more

Had 2 nights stay - 12/30 & 12/31. Nice place to stay. Clean with modern amenities. Loved the double head shower. One was a overhead rainfall shower and the other your regular showerhead. I liked that the toilet had its own door so someone else can use the sink or shower. But there were no locks. The indoor pool was beautiful but was closed by the time we checked in. For a pool that was only 3 ft, they should have it open late or 24 hours. Just put a swim at your own risk sign. This is my go to Atlantic City hotel. Its modern, lively and clean (as clean as AC could be)! We always stay here for the pool. There is never a crowd and the jacuzzis always have the perfect temperature. Order your drinks and food from the sunroom and bring it poolside. I recommend the very berry mojito and the Mediterranean Platter. And don't forget to wear the comfy spa robes you get in the room! read more
