Nice and spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath villas with a golf course on premises. Looks of recreational areas and indoor and outdoor pools. Everything is pretty modern in the rooms, downfall, you can hear all the noises from the other apartments. I was on a floor with kids above me and day and night could hear them running, playing and screaming like if they were in my room. The staff was just ok, didn't feel welcoming when checking in but glad that besides check in I didn't have to interact with them. Housekeeping staff are very personable and helpful. Centrally located with access to many things to do around. Will aim for a higher floor next time. read more

We went back to Marriott Fairway Villas after couple of years. This time we got enjoy all their summer perks. Magnificent kids friendly pool, fire bon s'more night, spacious 2 BR villas. Only 15 minutes from AC, great location for doing activities in and outside of AC. As much as we enjoyed our stay, the villa had few issues. They are deteriorating, as doors in our rooms would open with a push, even though they are locked, so no privacy. Bathroom door at the entrance wouldn't even close. There were spider in the curtains and some doors with broken knobs. I hope the hotel manages to keep up the quality of these villas as the years pass by. read more

Came here for a quick weekend and what a pleasant surprise. Drove up to check in around 10pm and the front desk person greeted me as it was 12pm. Very courteous, happy, and showed they took pride in there job. I don't own a timeshare here, this was just a booking I did right on the Marriott application. Everything was explained to me, I was given local restaurants to explore and left feeling good. We booked here because we are attending a concert in Atlantic City but didn't want to be in Atlantic City. This place is awesome because it gives you the away feel yet only 15-20 minutes away from the strip. The 2 bedroom we had was fully furnished with a big kitchen, with everything you need if you cook. Dining room table for 8, nice living room area, 2 bathrooms and a outdoor deck area. Will definitely be back for a longer stay. read more

This place is a solid choice for families who want a resort that has plenty of fun options for kids. The swimming pool and splash pad were both big hits for the family and the proximity of lots of activities such as golfing, basketball and tennis courts along with other amenities (such as an indoor pool as well etc) were all big wins for this place. The villas are also very comfortable. They are spacious, clean and the staff does a great job of keeping the general public areas very well organized. The rooms are very big and they include a full kitchen, a patio as well as a dining area and 2 large bedrooms with 2 separate bathrooms. You can easily have multiple people sleep here comfortably. The rooms also include laundry machines which is a nice perk. The location is great as it's tucked away from the chaos of Atlantic City but still close enough to the area if you want to stop by. My only drawback about this place is that while they are some dining options that aren't far away, I wish there were some more decent places to eat on the property itself. However, this place is still great for people who are looking to stay close to key parts of the Jersey Shore while also having access to lots of nice amenities on the property itself! read more

Absolutely love this property! The villas are huge, two bedroom, two bathroom, full kitchen, lots of amenities. Everything is clean and in order. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. We were here in August and used the pool and hot tub which were very nice. They have an adults only pool which is very nice as well as they're catering to families and adults. From reading the reviews, it seems like the restaurant / grill has closed. Unfortunately I've never tried, but there is a ton of good food in the area. The grounds, activities, staff, and villas have gotten nicer over the years! The villas are modern, clean, and spacious. There are daily activities for all ages on site. Atlantic City and shore attractions are only a 20-30 minute drive away! Make sure to request a villa on the third floor and hope you get one. Otherwise your sleep and wake schedule will be determined by those staying above you, as you can hear the footsteps from the floor above, and your walls shake as they walk! This 2 bedroom villa... I want to move in!! So much room, so much space so comfy and so warm and toasty. Found a room available in November to celebrate my anniversary with my family. Daughter had her own room tv with youtube. Wife took over the living room tv and I ran from room to room enjoying all the space with the baby. Covid-19 precautions taken throughout the room. Everything was clean and individually wrapped, gotta be safe... Took a dip in the pool. It was a short walk from the room. Enough space for 2 other families to be there and we still were able to socially distanced ourselves. And then we warmed up the grill and put a few steaks on for dinner They have a food pantry complete with the essentials for smores at their firepit. This is a great resort that my family has been staying at for over a decade. After our first visit, we bought a time share and never looked back. The rooms are like mini condos. They can sleep up to 8 people- two king beds, two pull out couches. The master bedroom is a single king bed with a private bathroom (including a jacuzzi tub) and a single entrance. The other bedroom offers a shared bathroom with a dual entrance from the kitchen and bedroom, and has a pull out couch in it as well. The other pull out couch is in the living room. You can definitely fit more than 8 people here especially if you have little kids/ pack-n-plays, but 8 will fit most comfortably. There is a large booth dining table that fits at least 8, full kitchen fixed with utensils, pots, pans, a full fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer in suite, fireplace, and a screened in porch. The place was recently remodeled with modern amenities and every year we return there are always updates. There are three flat screen TVs in your villa with Netflix and other smart features. There are three pools on site- a family, indoor, and adult only pool. The adult only pool is a mineral pool and a must try for those 16+ which is fairly strictly enforced. It's an infinity pool with a waterfall and two hot tubs. All pools are also handicap accessible. The kids pool also has an accompanying mini splash park. There's a golf course and driving range on site as well. Your first bucket of balls for the driving range is free, the rest can be rented for a cheap price. Well worth it and fun for the kids and adults. It closes at 7pm during the summer months. There are also basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts and rentals for equipment at the main lobby. The lobby has a small "marketplace" with commonly forgotten small food items can be purchased. Due to COVID the gym, two pool and snack bars were closed, as well as the normal kids activities they usually have going all day. The location is great too. There are several restaurants, grocery stores, liquor, gas and entertainment options nearby. The staff equips you with a list of options of nearby happenings too. Down the road from the historic Smithville shopping too. Overall, I would recommend this place to others. It is a great place for large or shared families and big groups of friends. It is good for those looking to be nearby to Atlantic City or anywhere on the Jersey Shore coast while being far enough from the bustle. read more

Simply the Best!!! Better than all the Rest! You get where we are going right .... I stay here all the time and it's a wonderful place within minutes of Atlantic City! I wouldn't stay in those flee bitten casinos if you paid me!!! The Villas are your best option if you have meetings or an event in Atlantic City! I stayed about 3 times last year and once the year before. They have a great spa called the red door spa. They also have a great front desk. I had packages delivered throughout the week from Amazon and several other vendors and they were always happy to hold them for me. They offer several evening activities for families and snacks for adults. The main building has a pool table, a movie room, and a game room. There are several pools and a gym. I used the indoor pool to swim laps and went to the gym because my trainer was with me and that workout was really good for an out of town workout. There's a driving range and I believe a golf course adjacent to the resort. Next time I stay I will bring my clubs. The rooms are very spacious and sleep anywhere from 2-10 easily! Every suite has two pullout couches, 2 king size beds, one jacuzzi, 2 showers, a tub, and a full kitchen. It's basically the size of an executive 2 bedroom apartment. It also comes with a washer and dryer. That always comes in handy! The fireplace and outdoor eating area are also great. It's well worth the price! read more

I really enjoyed my stay here. I love all the amenities such as the golf course, hot pool (fav) volleyball, basketball, tennis courts, the large indoor pool, the water park, the human chess game, the arcade room, and the park. There was never really a reason to leave at all. Shop rite was conveniently placed nearby. The villas were clean and modest. I particularly appreciated the screened patio to avoid bugs but enjoy nature. The two-bedroom villas were large and all couches pulled out to a bed to sleep more people. The bathrooms were nice and large no fighting for mirror space. The kitchen was well equipped and in a nice large open space. Pots and dishes included. My favorite was the fire pits that lit up at night where they gave us free sticks to toast smores. It was a beautiful relaxing getaway where all the amenities came together in a lovely way. I really enjoyed my day most when I just stayed in the vacation club and relaxed in the hot pool and toasted smores at night. It was the peace I needed to balance the chaos of work and home. The rooms are beautiful and nicely maintained. However, with the closing of Mulligan's Grill, the property has lost a lot of its festiveness and vibrancy. Five days prior to check-in, I was contacted by a Marriott marketing exec to attend a sales presentation and upon the completion of the meeting, I was to receive an incentive gift card. I attended the meeting at Fairway Villas as agreed, but never received the incentive as promised. That was very disappointing because I had intended to use the gift card to splurge while vacationing in the area. To date, now a week after my vacationing there, the matter is still not rectified and no one in the Marriott organization seems to know what the other is doing. Beware of agreeing to any sales presentations or Owners Meetings here because you may not receive the incentive they offer you. read more

It is lovely. We stayed at the end of April.. the off season. It was a nice getaway in the middle of all this covid crap. We were at the far end of the resort.. it was nice. Did not hear anyone. Very peaceful. The apartments are huge and fully updated. I know people complained about them removing the whirlpool baths and fire places, but they have fire pits open to all and the pool area has a hot tub. Personally I rather stay in an updated and clean unit than have a fake fireplace and a tub that other people soak in naked...yuck! For the covid stuff they are on it...remote controls individually wrapped, only one person aloud in the lobby. You can use the pool but there are people constantly cleaning and monitoring it to make sure there's not too many people. Some things are closed.. the arcade.. the adult pool.. but it's covid! I think if you keep your expectations in check, you'll find they deliver. There is no onsite food in the off season but there is a supermarket nearby and some local places that do take out or even dine in now. Short drive to Atlantic City and Ocean City... an hour to Great Adventure.. if you have kids!! read more

We revisited the property for a quick getaway from the city. This time around the game room, outdoor pool and splash pad was open. Given that is was October, it happened to be an off and on chilly and rainy weekend. However, we still made the best of the time. This time around we were able to warm up near the fire pits. It was very cozy and the front desk had sticks, marshmallows, Hershey chocolate bars, and graham crackers available for purchase at the marketplace. The rooms were clean. My only quam was the check in. They gave me the impression that I would be able to check in early and the earliest they had a room available was at 1:30pm all the way at the back of the property. My parents stayed here for the entire week and had such a nice time. I came down on Thursday evening with my boyfriend, aunt, and grandmother. The rooms were clean and spacious, while also being cozy for 6 people to converse and hangout. The two beds in the bedroom were very comfortable - more on the harder side. The two pull out couch beds were also very comfortable - more on the softer side. We loved having a full kitchen. My mom cooked so many wonderful meals; eating was truly a pleasure! There was a little outdoor patio which was nice when having tea/coffee in the morning. There was a fireplace too which I could see being lovely in the winter. There are multiple pools to take advantage of which was nice: a family friendly pool, an over 16 pool, and an indoor pool. We spent most of our sun soaking time at the over 16 pool which also had 2 hot tubs. The pool has this nice spilling effect where one part waterfalled into another. Great memories were made there. We also enjoyed the nature walk and the horseshoes. We saw outdoor BBQs and picnic areas, a salon and spa, and some courts. There was also a list of activities - great for kids! The only downside is the walls/floors are a little thin. Having a large family with lots of children directly above us was sometimes a bother - but they were having fun, we were having fun, can't complain! read more

My family and i just stayed here over the labor day weekend. We selected this place instead of our typical AC location because it was more geared towards family and kids. Took my 3 yrs old daughter and she enjoyed the trip. The villas are very spacious and well decorated. I also like having a full kitchen and the outdoor grill (ended up cooking each night). The place has a large pool and splash pad for kids to have all of the water fun they want. There is also a golf course (i do not golf) that looks quite fun. There are also lots of fun kids activities in the area such as storybook land (spent a good 4 hrs there) I was however not impressed with the food choices in the "resort", i feel like something better should be there. In addition, the welcome experience was meh (i know that the vacation property do not care much for marriott elite status or points) because i did not meet staff that made the experience memorable and as part of the welcome package, i filled out the questionnaire about what we needed and none of which were present in the room (they had to bring it up).... Overall i would recommend this place for a staycation and if you are trying to stay away from the ac boardwalk all together read more

The rooms are nice, but have not received significant updates over the last five years or so. The kitchen is well-stocked with appliances and tools, however. Guest who love to cook need to bring very little, perhaps a good set of knives. The televisions are horrible; they need updating ASAP. They are low resolution and the TV guide interface is about 30 years old. For example, you must wait for each channel to scroll by; even then I am unsure how to simply select from the guide menu. We are unable to access apps like Netflix or HBO to view on the TV. Nowadays, many lesser hotel brands have simple sign-in through smart TVs standard. I will need to bring and attach my AppleTV box if we return. If you have an Amazon dongle or Chromecast, be sure it will work and bring it. Also, the fireplaces now are disabled during summer. It had been nice to have a warm room after returning cold and wet from the pool. Guests seem less nice than before and front desk staff seem to do the bare minimum. As a person-of-color, the resort seems very "Jersey shore" insofar as lack of diversity goes. This feels more like a three-star, not four-star, resort. Overall, we have stayed here for the last six years and I see less and less value for the high prices. read more

Gorgeous! We stayed at the Fairway Villas for a bachelorette party, and my group was impressed from the moment we pulled up. We were greeted at the main building with a choice of sangria or Shirley Temples. There was a beautiful outdoor area with a pool, a lounge area, and a splash play area for children. We didn't get to enjoy this as we had to prepare for our night out, but everything looked fun. The rooms themselves were spacious, and the kitchens were modern and stocked with silverware, knives, etc. There was plenty of room for six of us to hang out and get ready. I did take off a star because our check in was delayed by almost an hour, and this was inconvenient as we needed to get in and get ready for the night to make our reservations. However, the staff was extremely apologetic and offered a complimentary bottle of wine. Overall a great stay! read more

I've been here two years in a row and loved both times. The staff is great. My party had someone who needed a wheelchair at times and they arranged everything to ensure it was easy for them to get around, and provided shuttle service. The rooms are very nicely designed and feel more cozy than a typical hotel room. The private balconies are quite and serene and great for morning tea. There are plenty of free and paid activities doing on around the clock so you always have something to do. The spa is absolutely my favorite part. The locker rooms are spacious and have anything you may have forgotten. Love that there is a special pool for adults that's very tranquil and relaxing. Great place to stay. read more

I always like to start my reviews of hotels by stating that I work in hospitality and I have very high standards as I know what is expect. Having said that, I have been coming here since I was about 3 years old since my dad was a Marriott owner at this resort. Have always loved it and never had a bad experience. Came here for Christmas with my dad and had a fantastic time but I have two small complaints. First of all the girl at check in while very sweet told us she had put us on the third floor as we requested, got our keys went to the unit and guess what it was on the second floor. Went back and spoke to her and she apologized but said she did not have any units on the third floor available. A little hard to believe as they have over 8 different villa buildings but not a big deal. Thankfully no one was stomping on our heads during out 8 night stay. Second complaint was several people on our floor would leave several garbage bags outside their unit. News flash you need to take out your own trash! There is no daily housekeeping at this or most timeshares. Several times my father and I informed the front desk of this issue and not once was it ever taken care of. Not sure if it is the front desks fault as I can understand it can be awkward to call a guest and tell them to take out their own trash but something that should have and may have been done. Either way our neighbors still left their trash outside their unit every day. The resort used to give a welcome letter when you check in and it used to explain you take out your own trash but they no longer do that. Not sure why but not up to me. Like I said I absolutely love coming here as it has been a tradition growing up and I have many fond memories here. Will definately be coming back again soon! read more

Stayed here over the weekend and found the overall experience to be comfortable and easy. The 2br/2bath with jacuzzi, fireplace, and large kitchen area was clean and perfect for our needs. The kitchen had almost all the items needed, minus tin foil. The sofas pulled out to sleep more. The service was super accommodating. They had low key informal events like HH, wine and cheese, and smores. They even brought us more coffee but called us when they arrived instead of knocking because we had the do not disturb sign! It's in the middle of no where but they have amenities like an indoor and outdoor pool, a gym with tvs, gas grills, a spa, and store with DVDs to keep you occupied. The only complaint is that the walls are thin. We were on the 1st floor and could here pounding of the feet above us all day and night :( read more

We stayed here for one night to celebrate my cousin's husband's birthday. It's only about 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Atlantic City in a quiet neighborhood. This is a perfect getaway for 2 couples. 2 bedrooms, full sized kitchen, dining area, patio, fireplace, even a washer and dryer! Master bedroom was beautiful with a jacuzzi tub that my cousin loved. Our bedroom was nice and spacious with a seating area. I loved our shower head that had multiple features! The whole villa was beautifully decorated. The only complaint I have was that my bathtub was not cleaned properly. It had hair from the previous folks. But I always bring a bottle of bleach bathroom cleaner with me to clean bathrooms before I use any hotel bathrooms so that was an easy fix for me. We are already planning another trip with more friends so I hope the bathrooms will be cleaner next time. read more

Beautiful area and great front staff. As always we were very pleased with the room as they are spacious two bedrooms with two bathrooms one of which has a jacuzzi tub. The living room has a fireplace and you have a view of the beautiful trees in our case being the view of the leaves changing color during fall as well as the gorgeous golf course I which I could have taken advantage of. As usual the room was full equipped with the kitchen which was great for not eating unhealthy every day and making some of our own meals. There are great daily activities here and nice pools around the property as well as the playground for little ones. Just down the road is beautiful Smithville which has some great little shops and place to get coffee and hot chocolate. Whether you are looking for a getaway with your wife and or friends or taking the family for a fun filled week this resort is a beautiful place to go with relatively easy driving to New York City, Philadelphia, Princeton, or a stop in Delaware. read more

Lets start off Like this . This is my second visit here . The last time we came here it was winter . We couldn't do much . It was quiet , peaceful . Indior pool was great in the middle of winter. The summer here is a different world . Let me tell you why . First off I am a girl that likes to travel out of the country. I came here for the simple fact I just wanted to leave the Bronx for a couple of days, and this is a nice resort, I figure why not but.... the horse flies . I am not the type Of girl to be scared of rats , roaches , animals , dead bodies,stray bullets, I have seen it all living in the Bronx most of my life. These flies though . I felt Like I was in a cheap horror flick . We came Out to enjoy the pool,Not alot of people , everyone is somewhat social Distancing, except these damn flies. They are out of control. They chase you down lol. Nothing repels them and when they bite you it hurts like a MF Would I come back ? The resort is not bad , the staff is decent, the property is clean. Most definitely After these horseflies are dead and gone. I won't come back to Jersey for a minute after almost being eaten alive by these flies. My last complaint is the the room was a bit dated. Lastly there was not many places to order decent food from. Thank god there is a shop tire down thw road and I was able to cook . The only problem of course was getting from my room to the car with the horse fly invasion outside. read more

We were visiting in Atlantic City and I didn't care to stay in the Heart of the AC area. Marriott Fairway Villas came up as an alternative and what an awesome experience it was. The drive alone to get there was beautiful. You drive through a two lane road through pretty scenery before you get to the hotel. Google Maps took us in the backway, so that was a bit confusing, especially at night. The grounds were beautiful. Big fire pits with outdoor games etc in the front. We visited in October and the leaves on the hundreds of trees on the grounds were in full color. I loved my morning and evening walks along the tree lined roads. The rooms AMAXING. Huge fully stocked kitchen, Washer dryer. Fire place on a timer, full kitchen, huge outdoor screened in balcony with table to enjoy a morning coffee and enjoy the scenery. Loved the color scheme which fit it perfect with the area. Two King size beds in the two bedroom Villa. Just perfect for a long weekend getaway. The staff was super friendly ( not the spa area, they were not) but the front desk was awesome. We will be returning to this area. I cant tell you enough how much we enjoyed it. read more

The suite is large and the location of the property is convenient to access various venues and destinations in the southern Jersey shore region. Beautiful resort. My mother is disabled and they were very accommodating to her, including giving us a room that wasn't too far from the elevator. I asked for extra towels and it was there when I arrived to the room as well. While talking to someone at the front desk, I found out that all the rooms are the same, two bedrooms & fully loaded. I think this place is great for extended stays and families. Very quiet and EXTREMELY secluded, a great getaway. A bit expensive but I'd definitely return. read more

The rooms were beautiful. The parking was horrible. Sup to be 2 cars allowed per room yet most only had one car and all 3 lots even around our building were full. If 2 per room should be plenty of places to park if they were keeping others out who didn't stay there. People in the parking lot were drunk and yelling. If they did a better job patrolling the units for loud people who shouldnt be here the place would be 5 stars. At 400plus a night should be able to relax in peace without carryibg my 50lb child from 3 lots away when he fell asleep. read more

Not a place to stay! My family requested a first level room because we had small children and got a 2nd floor level instead. Any noise after 10pm and you'll have someone from the front knocking on your door. We requested another room and instead they moved the people below us. On top of that, they only give you two towels for the pool and they don't have any extra in the front. Management is never available and transitioning. read more

What a great find!! We were looking for a place that was close, with a hot tub and a game room. This was perfect. We were able to get a two bedroom suite for the same cost of many dingy hotels. This place is super super clean and is really more of a resort. It has everything we needed and more. There room was way above average with big beds (a little too firm , but that's ok), two showers, a jet pool, a fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer. There are activities, outdoor fire pits, music playing. We played ping pong, pool, and giant chess.The front desk staff was very nice especially Matthew, who was so very welcoming and helpful. The only bummer was that the restaurant/bar was closed. We could have made our way into town, but settled for the microwavable stuff in the store. We easily could have stayed here for days. and hopefully will in the future! read more

Screened in porch in unit. 2 bedroom unit could sleep 8, with 2 king, 2 sofa beds. Laundry in unit is a big plus. Only drawback is the resort is not close to anything, be it entertainment or services. Flog course onsite.
