I have had this problem of rats in my crawl space and called Eric. He was super friendly and came on time, explained everything clear and put my fell-off insulation back in place, checked all the space for dead bodies and make sure all electric lines are fine. I had a rat caught in a trap. Called several companies for disposal(since it was a humane trap and the animal was alive). Most of them were not available or did not respond. It was raining heavily. I sent a message to Attic Brothers and Eric responded in 5 mins. He called and scheduled a time in the next 2 hrs. Arrived on time. Infact he called 20 mins before arrival to say that he is on the way. Took the rat away and returned the cage. I had checked price for rodent removal a few weeks back with several companies. I just had a recent whole house renovation, but yet the rats were still able to get into my attic despite the brand new roof. Carroll came over today and did a thorough walkthrough with me around the house. He not only found several small cracks that needed patching, but also found the insulation foam on the side of the wall where the rat was able to chew up and get into my attic. Eric and crew provided top notch service, at a very reasonable price! where they really stood out, and where I find great businesses separate from the rest, was when things didn't go exactly to plan. One of Eric's workers accidentally disconnected an HVAC duct. When we noticed it a few days later, Eric was very quick to respond. He never argued (like many would) that this is not his company's fault, and he sent a crew in to fix that day. Today, we discovered a squirrel found a way in through our range hood vent. Again Eric provided prompt response and is sending a crew to resolve the same day. My original blown-in insulation becomes insufficient after re-roofing company tear down the original roof where it has one insulation between the wood-shake and cal-pak roof. After contacted their office and setup appointments, I was given a 2 hour window that is not that convenient if they arrive in the latter half. Their sales Nir comes right on the time I requested, even their scheduler gave a 2 hour window. He explained all the detail with pictures, and provided a competitive quote for attic clean up and insulation. Their office contacted well in advance for an appointment they need to make changes, and even reschedule it on Weekend to make it up. This is even better, since I don't need to take a day off now. Installation crew showed up within the time window their office provided, and explained how they are going to do the clean up, and new insulation. During the process, they covered all work area and cleaned up after they finish. They even have their own inspector coming to check on the installation. read more

We needed new insulation in our attic, what was there was thin and out of date, not to mention it was covering live knob and tube wiring (eek!). We were able to schedule Attic Bros around our electricians (thanks again for accommodating Attic Bros!!), so they could replace the wiring. Everyone that I engaged with was very professional, and their entire team was well protected with PPE (from what I could see... not sure how often their respirator filters get replaced, I didn't ask or investigate. also not sure of the actual grade of equipment, also didn't ask or investigate). I always like a company that is willing to pay the cost of good equipment to protect their employees. We were also going to have them clean our HVAC ducts as well. The team that was here noticed that we had some asbestos around some of the vents, and our old ducts were starting to leak, and the insulation was falling off (not the asbestos, the insulation covering the ducts themselves, and just not in good shape overall). I was provided the option of having them cleaned (the old ducts would have still been extremely inefficient), but opted to have them replaced (the ducts were old, leaking, not efficient, etc.) instead. These guys also encapsulated the asbestos so that we don't have to worry about it becoming airborne. This new insulation in the attic keeps our house SO much cooler! I would like to pass my long overdue review for Attic-Bros, esp Eric and his team. I renovated my place extensively last year, during the stressful time, I needed to replace my ceiling insulation. Scheduling with Eric has always been prompt, informative and friendly. He gave reasonable quote and recommended to change the duct as it's more important than the insulation itself. Am quite impressed by the honesty. Finally I decided to change both duct and insulation in the attics. During the progress, I found out the edging insulation has not been completely replaced, and when I spoke the issues to Eric and his brother, they quickly fixed the issue without much arguments. We also found issue with neighbor on the noise cleaning up the remaining ceiling insulations on weekend, he handled it professionally and came back soon after within regular weekday to finish the job. In addition, he took away all the garbages that his team has and always informed me on the progress and result. Wow. They came out and removed all the old insulation, disinfected, sealed up all the entrances and put down much better insulation. All day process but they made it seamless. They even draped plastic over all the area around to keep everything clean. Then, 24 hours later I heard a 'commotion' in the attic where apparently a rat had hidden and then got caught in a trap. So Carroll Carter came and retrieved the dead rat from the trap. It feels great to have this done and taken care of. I would give 0 stars if I could. This company has been ridiculous. They attempted to do a crawl space job 3 times and keep sending incompetent workers. I even have video footage of one of the workers just walking around on his phone the entire time. They actually don't even know how to do the work (per the manager). We recently had new insulation installed in our attic along with a radiant barrier. The entire team of Michael Berry, Vic , Umberto and Cruz did a great job and worked very hard. Michael was our estimator and was very thorough looking both in our attic as well as our crawlspace for rodent as well as insulation issues. We very much appreciated his input and efforts. Vic was the project manager and coordinated the diligent efforts of the installers mentioned above. They all worked very hard throughout the day to make sure we achieved a successful outcome. They made sure to place plastic covering throughout the house to protect clothing and our flooring from any airborne particles that may have been released. They checked diligently for rodent issues and sealed up areas which may have allowed for any infestation in the past. Yes, Erie came to do a inspection for our rodent problem in our garage today. Because the garage is not attached to the home and we were able to see some holes that the rats chewed from the roof, so Erie was nice enough to put the foam to the holes for us and set up couple traps for the rat for a reasonable price. I never write reviews and created a Yelp account specifically to review Attic Brothers. I had a rat infestation- was hearing noises in my walls and floors all night. I could not sleep and one day after reading all the good reviews here, I decided to call Attic Brothers. They came over the same day -that was good. They wanted my business. Arie or Eric ( his English name) inspected my property and said he is sure the rats are living in my heating air ducts. They said after replacing all the ducts with "rodent proof" ducts, my rat problem will go away. They charged me close to 5K and gave me this plan of how they were going to seal my house and lays traps for catching rats. Arie( Eric) also promised that they will send their guys over to remove dead rats once trapped. They gave me warranty of 3 years for the contract. But other people on this site all got 5 years for the same money. 1. First problem was when the first mouse was caught (it smelled) and I did not know where.. I called them and they did not come for several weeks and said the smell will go away on its own. 2. I had a warranty of 3 years, which was less than 5 others were given. But after 2-3 Visits, Eric said that he had already spent more money on my problem then I had paid them. He said that the problem was how my house was built and he could not keeping sending guys over as it was costing him a lot of money. 3. After the first visit, he kept hounding me to write a yelp review. 4. They do not know the first thing about catching or getting rid of rats and 3 years later, I am still dealing with the rats. 5. Every time you make an appointment, a new guy comes over and you have to start over explaining your problem from the start-so frustrating. 6. There were also missed appointments and people showing up outside their time windows. I have lost countless hours of work waiting for these guys. 7. I also found out that they are not licensed for Structural Pest control and should not be telling people that they can get rid of rats. I had to hire Attic Bros to get rid of rodents and their feces in the attic and crawl space. They did a great job in sealing openings where rodents (rats) can get in as well as removing all the contaminated old insulation and installing new ones. Their 5-year warranty was great because I had to call for services when rodents were found in the garage. My regular Attic Bros technician, Carroll, supported me during the warranty period. He always arrived promptly for each scheduled maintenance and texts me before coming. During the most recent service, I asked if he could fog the attic and crawl space again because the rodent smell was still present. He did an outstanding service. I do recommend Attic Bros to get rid of rodents, their preventive measures, and for their prompt warranty services. They are much better than pest control companies. read more

Luckly, Carroll Cater, a very nice gentleman spent near two and half hours to carefully seal the entirely crawl space. And he even helped to seal a few other gaps in my house. I contracted with Attic Bros. to clean and remove old insulation in my attic and install new batting on 11/3/2019. They came in and did a good job of cleaning, seal holes, encapsulate asbestos boots on ducts, and replacing the insulation; however, they blocked most of my Soffit vents so there was no circulation in the attic. This is very important to protect your roofing material, it determines how long your roof will last. They also stripped old insulation from metal Y duct joints and did not replace it with new material. I had to call them back to correct these things. My moto is do it right the first time. They had to make a second trip out to open up the attic ventilation and insulate the metal Y ducts. I now wonder if those workers think that no one is going to go up in the attic and inspect their work? I did, when paying more than $5,400. The field Manager came out and indicated that he would be discussing this type of work with their employees. Beware, I am a stickler for detail, so I try to make sure you get what you contracted for. It appears I am running into more and more of these types of situations. If you don't pay attention to detail, they will try to take advantage of you. "Let the buyer be ware". read more

I had a rodent problem in my attic for a while (about a year or so). Attic Bros came and gave me a quote. I thought about it for a week, and did what I could to research the cost. I'd never had anything like this done before. After learning it was very likely to be a reasonable quote, I moved forward. They arrived at about 930 and were done at around 2pm. This was Ruben's team that I had read positive things about in other Yelps. They were very professional. I would go so far as to say a very synchronized 'team'. They completed each step quicker than I expected. They were texting me photos of the work as they went along. They said they found quite a few holes Ratatouille could be getting in. I was thinking there was no way they'd get all the holes if they found that many. They sent me picks of the fixed holes. This is not easy work- they were very professional and worked with a smile on their face. A couple of weeks later I set an appointment to come and recheck the traps. The appt was for between 10-12..I worked from home and waited. I didn't hear anything at 11 or so..So, I called the office.. They said the man who was coming was delayed til near noon. I was fine with that. At 11:30 he texted and said it was going to be more like 12:30. I was OK with 30min later, as well. 2min went by and someone showed up. I was like 'you said 30min?' He explained he was the owner of the company, he was in the office and they knew I was waiting to go back to work- so he came to do the inspection. That was very impressive that they wanted to get there on time. He did the inspection and showed me the traps- no Ratatouille! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that it appears they have solved the problem. I talked to him for about 20min after. A very nice, hard-working person. We were chatting about cost for the job and what goes into it. He told me the costs we might not see...He explained that some of these attic operations don't have insurance for their workers- and if someone gets hurt on your property, you, the owner of where the workman was injured-- are the responsible party. He was very down-to-earth and wasn't bs-ing. That, obviously, is a very big deal for the owner. I highly recommend this company. read more
