Matt was the project manager for my job (rats got into the basement), and he called the evening that I requested an inspection. He was there the next morning, even offering me options for when he could arrive (I took the earliest one). He showed up exactly when he promised, and finished the inspection quickly. After a brief discussion with me, and another discussion with the company, he returned with a bid for sealing the basement, cleaning, and rat proofing, which ended up being far cheaper than I had feared. The next morning, his crew, Cody and Ulisses, showed up at exactly the time that was promised, no sitting around and waiting. They got right to work, and despite the challenges of working on a 100 year old house, they were able to rat proof my basement, clean up all of the problem areas, and set traps, in under two hours. Cody and Ulisses were fantastic! They took photos of all of the problems, before and after, and let me know how to deal with the problems in the future. I got to see the photos before they left, and they also sent the images to me vial email. The only "complaint" I have is not really a complaint at all. It would be great if Attic Projects could set up an online payment option (PayPal, Google Wallet, whatever), so that I didn't have to pay by check. The service was outstanding. While I hope I never need to eliminate rats again, I know that if I do, I will call Attic Projects. Spoke to Eben and he came out to our house to do the inspection and provided us with a quote. He was very professional and the price he provided was very reasonable so we decided to move forward with Attic Project. George and Adrian was the tech that was working on our house, they were on time and very professional. They provided me step by step on what they will be doing on my house. Everytime they enter my house they put on shoe covers, they cover all the areas they will be working at and when they finish the job they made sure to clean up all the mess. Writing reviews is not part of my nature unless the service is so remarkably good others need to know about it. Such is the case with Attic Projects from my perspective. We had a long-time battle with roof rats in our attic for 30 years that came and went depending upon how aggressive I got. Finally, my wife found Attic Projects on line to see how they might help us. They offered a free inspection so we felt we had nothing to lose, but were suspicious because no one really does anything "for free," or so I thought. We set up an appointment with Michael Kurutz who came to our house at the promised time and immediately went to work in our attic and around our house. He discovered what we already knew but showed us dozens and dozens of pictures to allow us to see just how much damage had been done by these rats over the years. The evidence was both shocking and maddening. Then he sat down with me at our kitchen table and made a very professional presentation of what our problem was and the steps Attic Projects goes through to make certain we would not have a problem for the next 10 years. He had a professionally prepared folder full of pictures of what the work would look like from start to end, and when he had finished, I had no questions at all since he had covered everything (including the cost) that may have come to mind. We then got a second inspection and bid from our regular, nationally known, pest exterminator because we felt comfortable with them. The difference between the two inspections, action- steps and suggestions did not compare. I found myself asking the regular exterminator questions based on my presentation with Michael, and in some cases, they didn't have a solid answer. The thing that stood out most was that our regular company did not have their own team to remove the old insulation and to clean and sanitize the attic. They subbed that job out to another company. Michael had told us, without me asking, that everyone who touched our attic would be Attic Projects, W-2 employees. They would be in complete control of everything from beginning to end. Additionally, Attic Projects' very thorough process was less expensive. I realized that Michael's company specialized in attics whereas the other company pretty much specialized in bugs in our yard. After reading on-line reviews written by other customers, we agreed that Attic Projects was the best alternative. Within a week the "clean up" team arrived bright and early. They spent an entire day with us, much of which was spent covering every square inch of our home (and driveway) that would be affected to protect it from contamination and damage. The team was headed up by Steve Kim and included partners George and Mario. They were extremely polite and efficient like servers in a 5-diamond restaurant (obviously the result of excellent training). Before they left Steve showed us another round of pictures he had taken to show how they not only cleaned and sanitized, but also how they had sealed off every potential entry point a rodent could make into our attic. (We have owned our house since it was brand new, and I wondered why these steps had not been taken by the builder). Finally, Steve left several baited traps in the attic to catch any rodents that may have been lurking behind. As he told me, "There is no way out or in for them now." Sure enough, on the first evening we heard a trap go off at night. After two days an inspection team headed up by Luis arrived to make sure Steve and his team had "covered all the bases." They confirmed that one rat had been trapped and also took a few more steps to ensure no rodent could possibly gain access to our attic again. They spent half a day with us as it was more than an inspection, but rather a second look from fresh eyes. Luis and his partner were also extremely polite and efficient. On the third day, Steve and his assistant, Romel, arrived to do the installation of the new insulation product. They first went through another initial process of placing covering on the floors, etc. to protect them and then installed the insulation. The process took only half a day and they were, once again, very polite and efficient. I could not be more satisfied. Attic Projects is, above all else, a very professional organization. They take time to understand the scope of work that needs to be done, thoroughly explain and show through pictures what they will do, tell you exactly how much it will cost and then execute perfectly. They guarantee their work. Every one of their employees demonstrates good training that results in effective and polite communication with their customer and nothing less than the highest level of professionalism. I was quoted was quoted $6200 to install an attic ladder (ladder included in the price). I had my attic ladder installed by Installations Pro for $400! Alex did great job! I provided the ladder, one can get a ladder for $251 to $850 depending on what quality one wants. So $6200 is wildly overpriced! So widely overpriced it makes me wonder if they can be trusted on other quotes, Don't get ripped off, always get multiple bids!!!!!! Saved myself over 400%!!!!! During Covid-19 our building became infested with rats who left the neighborhood restaurants and made a home on our property. We wanted a humane resolution to get the rats out of the building and prevent them from getting back in. The Attic Projects team came out, were professional and were able to resolve our issues. One and a half years later I called back to see if they could now remove the excluders and permanently seal the open entry points now that we no longer had rats in the building. I was hoping this was covered under the warranty, and the company honored the work with no charge. Overpriced for the quality of work unfortunately. I believe bcs there is a salesman in between the sale to collect his commission. I went into my attic after they "cleaned and sanitized" right before they blew in insulation. There was rodent droppings still all over and in crevices... didn't look clean to me, at least not the craftsmanship they claim. They came back & supposedly cleaned all the areas I took pictures of 1hr before they blew in Insulation so which didn't allow me time to go back up & check so I can only hope they got all the areas. The other day my electrician was putting some recess lighting & told me there was no insulation at all in the area he was putting the lighting... I haven't gone bk up to check their finished work... actually scared to do so, would hate to be disappointed after paying $8k not including crawlspace rodent proofing which I could hv gotten paying half of this. I shouldn't hv to go in there anyway since I'm the contract it states they would send pictures through the project til the end product. Never saw pictures of corrected clean up or of finished work. To top it off, they're suppose to seal around recess lighting to avoid insulation to pour in, we'll they didn't. My house looked like Christmas with snow falling through the recess lighting. All my clothes in my closet were full of insulation and I had to all the time through my house. I brought this to the attention of Jeff along with a nail that came through my ceiling from them stepping on it, told him to fix.... Nothing was corrected. Actually now writing this I'm thinking of doing something about this bcs it is unfair I paid all this money and still hv to hire ppl to clean up after them and items outlines in contract were not met. read more

During inspection they found rat droppings, old insulation, and mold under the crawl space. From the beginning with getting a free quote from Matthew to the actual installation of new insulation with Geovanny, David and David, Attic Projects has been a great company to work with when we needed new attic insulation. Some highlights: - they were quick to respond to a quote request and flexible when circumstances required us to reschedule the initial appointment - Matthew spent nearly 3 hours at the quote estimate outlining in detail exactly what we would need, not trying to upsell us on anything we didn't need but just what we actually wanted and needed. All of our questions were answered in full detail and we felt like we knew exactly what we were paying for with the blown in insulation. - Once we agreed to the project the turnaround to schedule the installation was quick and professional. Our attic looks practically brand new and everything was done exactly as Adam originally said. I was so impressed by this company that I needed to spread the word. My son had a rat jump on him while he was taking the trash out. After making sure none were living in my yard; I wanted to find out if any could get into my home. This company fit me in their schedule and said the inspection is free. AJ was on time and did a thorough inspection. He walked the whole outside perimeter of my house. Looked all around the garage and attic. He is a honest person and said there was no current activity. He showed me a prior area that a rat made a home in my attic and what to do if I suspect one has come back. If the tenting, new roof and filling in gaps I did doesnt detour rats in the future; how to set a trap. Call them and they will come back to seal areas we can't see and fix the situation. He told me keep checking every 3-6 months and what to look for. He showed me where my new heater duct work in garage had a opening into the ducts. It just been a year since I got them; so the company came back and fixed the issue for free. As a woman running a house hold; I've been ripped off and lied too by many contractors.
