We've been using Pacific Coast Termite for a few years now for annual termite inspections and rodent (rats!) control. No issues on the termite side--they're responsive, thorough, and quick to come out if we think we're seeing activity between annual visits. We also hired them to deal with rats in the attic. They inspected the house, sealed the entry points, set traps, and came back several times to check on things. But after our handyman found a fourth dead rat--after Pacific Coast had already declared us rat-free--I used our warranty and asked for a reinspection. They came out right away. Turns out the previous inspector hadn't done the job correctly, so the supervisor stepped in, handled everything, and reinspected the entire property. Since then, we've been rat-free. Pacific Coast's pricing is fair, and they do make things right when something slips through. One thing I'd love for them to update: the payment process. They're still mailing paper invoices where you write down your credit card number or send a check--or you call and read your card number over the phone. It's 2025. Please give customers an online payment option. Overall, we'll continue using them. They're solid--and they stand behind their work. read more

Not happy AT ALL with PACIFIC COAST. NOT long after they treated my home, my house was INFESTED with termites. I first started noticing the way the termites were eating away at my beautiful hard wood floors! Today was the first day of a roofing project and when I returned home after the roofers tore off my old roof, the termite droppings were piled up in my son's room and all over my house, especially the garage. It was completely disgusting and extremely surprising. I am not happy about the fact that the termites returned and were worse than they were years ago before I hired this company. It's been several years so now I am writing my real review. I was afraid of some of the workers, who obviously knew where I live, and who had crude tattoos and referenced jail time. Someone had correctly measured and ordered the wood to replace all of our large beam exterior wood trim. Then one of the workers decided that was not correct and changed the order. When they realized they messed up, they bought new wood and instead of the well-treated, well-primed, and well-painted wood that was to be delivered, they give it a quick coat of each on the job site (our yard). That is not what we were promised. As I was afraid of getting them in trouble (potential retaliation) I didn't say anything, At the end of the job the guy who had quoted originally asked about the job, and I mentioned about the wood. He basically chastised me for not reporting it. I didn't know I was the job supervisor! Our neighbors hired Tanler and a supervisor came every day to review the work and progress. Also, our job took longer than they predicted (which I had told my husband there was no way they could do it in a week, but somehow THEY did not know it??) so they had to come back on Saturdays for 2 months until it was finished. We paid a huge amount of money. The inside people who sprayed the exposed wood in the attic, garage, and crawl space were excellent. The exterior wood people were scary and sneaky and ripped us off, although that wasn't their intention, that's what happened. read more

He answered all my questions and gave me the best route to go through regarding the termites and us (my wife and I) being new homeowners on a budget. He went into the attic and underneath the house since ours is elevated to properly inspect everything. This company doesn't believe in fumigation so to inspect the house they use a long steel prod to jam against the house to locate weak spots in the wood. This technique leaves holes where ever there weakness from termites eating away at the wood. Well this guy was slamming the prod so hard against the house that holes would have been made regardless of weakened area or not. They should have told me upfront about damaging the wood. I told him to stop and now I have holes where there were none and they went on there way without patching them back up. I never heard of a company causing damage a not fixing it. I will not do business with a company that causes destruction to my home and then just leave. read more

I had another company come to my house because I noticed what looked like sand in my window cil , a representative came and saw the sand like substance and said my house was infested and that I needed to rent the house $15,000.00. I believed him!! Fortunately or unfortunately my mother became ill and I had to move her in with me and had to cancel the tenting as my mom couldn't be moved . I was nervous though because I thought my house was infested so I looked into a company that could do it safely without having to move my mom. Pacific Coast Termite So.... Eddie came to my house and did a FULL inspection, he was amazing!! It took him an hour, he went in the attic, under the house, he walked the perimeter with a long stick poking all of the wood, and guess what?!? My house was not infested!!! He was very knowledgeable and thorough and identified significantly more areas that needed treatment compared to inspectors from other companies. TERMITE TREATMENT: Earlier this month, we paid pacific coast termite $$$$$ to do all our termite work. It isn't the end of the month yet and our snack table foods started getting termite droppings. Covered table with paper towels to see what was going on. After all we paid PCT for wood replacement and termite treatment ($xx,xxx). Sadly, we still have termites. Called them; they can be out in a week to look at it, but offered that "I" could spray windex on termites and/or fill the hole in the wood. Updating to 3 stars on the review, original was 1 star. The rodent team was amazing, very good and professional. I had a poor experience with the insulation removal and replacement. The original team came out and missed two rooms completely their first time, and folded over the rulers to misrepresent the amount of insulation the rest of the house had. I only found out after calling a separate HVAC company to solve the odd problem of half my house being too warm during summer. My HVAC notified me of the issue, picture attached. The second time Pacific Coast came out I was provided a sub-standard job. I should have demanded the photos then and there, but they left quickly. I thought my insulation issue was resolved, but I still had a very hot half of a house. I called my HVAC guys again, they informed me of the poor insulation job again, patchy, uneven, and low. The third time Pacific Coast sent a different team out and provided pictures and video, they fixed the issue quickly and professionally, but costed me time, money, and comfort for the last 7 months. read more
