The supervisor came to our home and gave us a bid. Reasonable prices and we could choose and pick what we wanted done. Young people showed up to do the work, screening crawlspace vents to the outside and should gave removed old insulation. Told us we needed to remove one long heat vent but we decided to just have them cleaned. Sprayed an anti fungus supposedly safe for kids and animals! Very strong oder but it did help. We had 40 years worth of rodent feces and nests and other disgusting things in the Attic and under the house from never having been dealt with and after much research and estimates, we hired attic pros to come in, clean, sanitize, and seal everything up. It was such a large project because of the size of the house and quite expensive, ($6700), but after two days of work we are quite happy with the results. Just like they promised, everything is cleaned up, the old loose insulation has been replaced by new thick removable flat insulation, and they used cement to plug any and all holes that could be found. We were given a 3 hour window and when they never arrived I called they told me they needed to talk about servicing our HVAC before coming out since service was over due. Waited around for 3 hours that first time, they did arrive the second time and cleaned the HVAC but said someone else needed to come out to review the rodent issue, which is why they were called the first time. Made the follow up appointment while they were here waited all day in a Saturday, only for them to no show. Called to find out what happened and they have no record of an appointment. Seems like they have an offshore call center managing their appointments and/or are highly unorganized. Spent $800 and still haven't had anyone here to address the issue we are having. Our home is about 40 years old, and still had the original insulation. I noticed our AC and heat seem run for a long time into the evening, so it seemed like a good time to get it checked out. Jeremy inspected the attic and found what insulation was there had settled, and the skylights had no insulation of any sort either. He also recommended a radiant barrier to keep conditioned air from escaping. Osman and his crew did a great job. They removed all of the old insulation as well as some random junk in the attic space from previous owners, blew in new insulation and added a radiant barrier under the roof. I requested an appointment for an estimate on having some work done in my attic. I was given a time on Monday 1-3 and was told I'd receive a text or phone call 30 mins prior to the person coming to my home. At 3:15 I sent an email response from the confirmation email I sent letting them know no one showed up and that it was rude to not even call to cancel as that would have been expected of me and I was no longer interested in doing business with them. About 10-15 mins later I received a phone call with someone yelling at me on the other end saying something about "we're providing a free service" to which I hung up on that person. Getting rid of roof rats is not an easy task. I found some roof rats in my attic in Nov 2022 and got in touch with AtticPros. Someone (I think it was Najim) showed up the next day and was able to do the assessment of what needs to be done. Long story short, they recommended, that I remove all the old insulation, do rodent proofing and install fresh new insulation. I was fine with this plan. Their team showed up a few days later to clean up the attic and suck up all the old insulation. They also did an extensive rodent proofing work. However, rats quickly showed up a few days later and that went on for weeks. I kept seeing rats and AtticPro diligently kept coming to do more proofing. There was some back and forth between us and finally after the rat exclusion was completed, we decided to install the new insulation in April. Typically it's best practice to wait out 2 weeks after rat exclusion before installing new insulation. Today Gary and his crew showed up to install the new insulation. They vacuumed my whole attic one more time and started the installation work. Gary was very detail oriented and extremely friendly to work with. He covered all the work surfaces and worked diligently to make sure that all corners are covered. It was about 2000 sq ft installation and he was able to get it done in less than a day. Stellar crew!
