This is the third time I have used Omega. Today Rylante came to do the service. He was so nice, polite, interested in doing a great job. I picked Omega because they seemed experienced in ant control. We have a lot of ants in and around our building. The treatment they provide makes the problem go away! It is effective. I spoke with Cynthia, a very polite woman, and told her I had a wasp problem she was very helpful and let me know that her office could help. William Henderson came out and educated me that I was seeing capenter bees. After that he treated the areas around the perimeter. Communication with Omega was good, and we were able to get an appointment with them reasonably quickly after our issue began. We had a problem with ants that kept showing up in various parts of our house. The exterminator showed up right on time, on the morning of Christmas Eve no less. He offered us two options: a spray that would require us to evacuate ourselves and our cat for a few hours, and a gel that he could apply around various gaps in the house. This gel did not require us to evacuate the house, and he said the ants would be attracted to it, eat it, and die. Despite our misgivings about the efficacy of the gel, we opted for it so we did not have to evacuate on Christmas Eve. He was pretty good at finding little gaps where the ants were walking in. And in the end the gel did in fact work - just a few days later there was nary an ant to be seen. Hallelujah for that. read more

This review is long overdue. William came out at the end of last year to treat our ant problem. He sprayed outside the perimeter of the home and then instead of bringing strong chemicals inside; he recommended baits. We have kids and a pet rabbit inside so that was great. The worker ants took the bait back home to where ever the colony was. It took a few days, but they have been gone and stayed gone since. William is experienced, full of knowledge, a good communicator, and is an honorable Veteran. There can be none better in my book. If in a few years the ants come back, I know which family run business I'll be calling. read more

I've been using Omega for a few years now with regularly scheduled service. I love that it is consistent with Will treating our property every time. I always get an automated message about upcoming service and then Will also gives me a heads up with estimated timing via text. Will's great for a quick chat and also very attentive to our property and concerns. Today after spraying for ants and spiders, he pinged me and asked me to come back outside in order to show me a new sewer issue at the side of the house that I wasn't aware of. Really appreciate that added touch! Others from Omega have provided excellent service too with bathroom sub floor repair and removal of cellulose debris from crawl space in the past. Sloppy, unprofessional, and poorly run. They sent a man named Gershen, their handyman or whatever, who did a hack job and left a mess which I did not see until I came out to check on the work. Then Gershen took the payment from my husband which apparently was not supposed to happen as the office called to collect payment. My review is not for the termite treatment I thought I needed, but for the assessment they provided that determined I needn't need it. The inspector could easily have suggested an expensive treatment and I wouldn't have know the difference. Seems like an honest, trustworthy company. read more

We called Omega to address a suspected bed bug infestation. We could not find the bugs or their eggs, but were getting bites, especially on our ankles and feet. The very pleasant Rylante came out and did a thorough inspection of the bedroom, closet, and part of our living room. He told us a lot about what to look for, and how, and he gave us advice on what to do about what may in fact be causing the bites, but it is not bedbugs. It took awhile to get Omega here, as they didn't have availability in SF for about ten days. I didn't look for other pricing from other exterminators, so I don't know how that compares. But for the $205 we paid, we never felt any attempts to bamboozle us into spending more than what they had quoted over the phone, and we are happy to know we don't have bedbugs and don't need to get sprayed. read more

Shout out to Will! While our other regular technician has been out, he has been thoughtfully taking care of our 2 acre property for all of the pest needs. We recently had a rat infestation in some of our outdoor furniture and Will took the time to not only clear away all of rodent droppings and feastings left in and around the furniture, but he checked each cushion to ease my mind that there wasn't a rodent living inside one! He also made an extra trip to grab the tools he needed to spare myself from having to do any extra work myself. Will is clearly a dedicated worker and prides himself in going the extra mile to help someone out. read more

First off, as I called several companies recommended on the Yelp page, it became clear some had merged together over time. Second, I had only a flea problem, but the larger companies were trying to push me into an expensive bedbug treatment. Finally I got to Omega, and I liked them right away. There was no pushiness. In fact, Rhonda was calm and compassionate, which is always the best attitude for customer service. The exterminator, Rylante, came over and helped me move some heavy boxes, then offered some good solutions so that the fleas did not come back. Unlike the other companies, neither he nor the office tried to sell me on a follow-up treatment, but said they would come back within 30 days if I wasn't satisfied. These are good folks. They sent someone out. He took pictures set about four rat traps. I was told that I would get an email with an estimate on some repairs and I basically did not hear from them again. He even called us the following week to follow up on some insect samples he collected.
