Their warranty on work done was another key factor. An electrician found a dead rat and droppings in the attic, so I needed clean up and rodent proofing. In the crawl space, a bunch of the ducts were unattached by wear and tear and plumbing work that had been done in the past (which I didn't know. No wonder my gas bill was so high over the winter!). Shannon and team cleaned everything up, sanitized, reattached the ducts and rodent proofed the whole house on the outside. Apparently the attic was vulnerable, as prior owners' foam had been chewed through in the eaves. After they were done they set traps which will be checked every few weeks. I will update if there are any further rodents but I am confident in the work by the company and team. I highly recommend this family owned company.

The guy who came out was on time, a bit eccentric and very passionate about rats. He was detail oriented and did a great job explaining the job and its breakdown. Unfortunately on the day of the job, we had 4 guys come to our home on time- but none of them spoke English. Now, I appreciate them coming out, but we just could not communicate and they did not have work trucks or shirts with their company name. An hour later, we had a younger guy show up and he spoke English. The crew worked really fast, did a nasty job of removing our rodent infested insulation and put in new insulation, they mixed concrete and patched up some holes as well and put out rat traps. They came back twice to check the traps and removed them. I think they did a good job, appreciate their punctuality. But management should always send someone who speaks some English and provide a company truck or at least shirts. I personally felt uncomfortable letting into my home a group of random men with no identification.

I received a flat rate price estimate shortly after starting a Yelp project on July 5th from this company. They were quick to respond and gave a price that was reasonable compared to others that responded and offered to come out next day. Dennis came the next day and communicated well prior to his arrival. Dennis explained what he would do well. Dennis made quick work of that wasp nest and knocked it off my roof eave before taking it away. All in all, I'd say he was here for no longer than 20 minutes. He recommended servicing our residence as well as the eaves to further prevent wasps from returning and to prevent other pests from visiting, but was not pushy about the service. I would recommend this company to others.

With kids and pets, we prefer the ad-hoc visit over a monthly service plan and Jaime does not pressure you into a plan and does a great job solving the problem in one visit and that lasts several years. During his most recent call out, we found an area where rats had chewed through the crawlspace vent. He did an inspection and provided a very reasonable quote (compared to what our neighbors had paid to other providers). It's rare to find a reliable, quality, one-man shop - Jaime at Pestfinders is that diamond in the rough that I can't recommend enough.

First of all, on the first visit, within ten minutes, the technician had spotted an entry point on our roof that was likely the cause of our isse. It wasn't obvious and the previous service we used (one of the larger services in our area) hadn't spotted this. Another thing that I noticed was the respect and care the technician showed at our house. It's a small thing, but when the technician entered our house he noticed that we had shoes by the door and went ahead and removed his shoes when making his way to our attic. Taken all together our technician was detail oriented, respectful, and thorough. And he solved our problem. On top of this the price point was comparable or even less than the larger company that we had used previously. I would highly recommend Pestfinders to others.

The day of the appointment, at the time of the appointment, I received a txt message from the technician mentioning that they would not be able to make the appointment as they were double booked. He proposed to re-schedule the appointment. I had already taken the morning off to meet the technician, with hours and income loss. But, I decided to re-schedule for the upcoming Tuesday. Tuesday comes around, and again I take time-off work and income loss to meet with the Technician, and they don't show up the appointment. This was the second time of missed work and income. I reached out to the Company to advice them and they prompted that they could reschedule me, but at this point my trust was already broken. The Company didn't take my time seriously. Company's should learn to appreciate that their customers are taking time out of their day to meet with these technicians, which translates to missed income or having to substitute the time-off with vacation time that can be used for the family.

Phil came out to the house this morning. He previously gave me some tips over the phone to take immediate actions. We have a bird and rat issue in the attic. I found a hole in one of the vents to the attic. Phil told me how to cover it up. He then said that he can do a FREE inspection to check the rest of the house. He then could give me an estimate for the cost of the repairs. He showed up in the time window he quoted me and proceeded to inspect the house. He gave some recommendations on how to secure some things better. He has a lot of experience in this business. He knew exactly where to look, places that I did not even consider. Sure enough he found a hole into the attic that was under the area were my higher roof meets the lower roof. He showed the dirt on the flashing and said that is from the animals climbing in. He then let me use his ladder and flashlight to look more closely. It was surprising. He told me what to do to fix it. He also recommended setting a couple of rat traps just in case there are any left up there. Here is where it gets interesting. I asked him about him doing a home inspection for bugs. He asked what the issue was. I told him that my wife was getting bit a lot in the bedroom. He then asked if the bedroom was by the hole in the roof and if the bites started to occur more after I closed up the original hole. I told him yes. He said that they were probably bird mites that feed off of birds and their nests. When I closed up the hole the mites had to find a new source of food and humans are it. He proceeded to tell me what else to do to clean the room down. There will be a lot of lysol in our future. Overall Phil was great. Very nice guy and took the time to talk me through everything even when he had already decided that he was not going to make money on the call. I recommend him to anyone and would call him again. read more

Phil really went out of his way to help us out with our flea problem. And our infestation problem couldn't have come at a worse time. We just came back from the hospital with our newborn baby. After the first day back we discovered we had fleas, and in a bad way. Luckily for what ever reason the fleas only attacked me at first. They ate my leg up. When I called Phil he was already booked for a few days. But I guess he heard the desperation in my voice considering the newborn and everything and made time for me to come out the same day. After it was safe to come back to the house after 6 hours I noticed all the fleas tried to escape the poison by jumping onto our bed. Most were already dead or already dying, but some were lively enough to worry me. I called Phil and even though he explained to me again that it would be a process and time was required for all the fleas to die out, he still came back the next day to spray our house free of charge. He scheduled us again the following week to come spray again free of charge, but assured us the problem should be resolved by then. As he assured, the flea problem went away. I called him to cancel our 3rd session and he told me that I could still call him back anytime if the problem came back. My experience with Amores Pest Services couldn't be any better. Phil is a man of his word and guaranteed his product and service. I would recommend Amores Pest Services to all my friends and family. read more

So impressed with this company! Santiago came in the day after my inquiry for a free quote. He gave us a few options for our [unexpectedly, many families of] roof rats, and we went with removing installation to completely get rid of our problem for a very fair price. The team came in the very next day and completely cleaned out the attic, the crawl space, and filled every hole and mouse sized gap around our old house with wire mesh. Santiago came two weeks later to follow up and confirmed we are still rat free. We got very welcomed advice about how to make our property less inviting to rodents and other creatures. Communication has been an effortless combination of friendly, helpful, and professional. Sebastian arrived on time and did a very thorough inspection of the attic and garage areas. He found and sealed several entry points that were previously hidden by the insulation, which gave us a lot of confidence that the problem was being properly addressed. He also checked all the traps and placed new traps in the garage where there were still signs of rodent activity, including fresh droppings. The technician vacuumed the droppings, sanitized the affected areas, and disinfected everything professionally. Additionally, he sealed several openings with concrete that were connecting the garage to the attic, helping prevent rodents from moving between those areas. Overall, the service was very professional and detailed. The technician will return in a few days to monitor and recheck the activity. They did a fine job sealing exit and entry points, but as for actually eliminating the rats there has been very little progress. Most of the rats that have been killed were done by my stepfather setting his own traps. There has been several missed holes we had to call them to come and patch up and one that wasn't properly sealed. When we asked about the smell of rat urine (which has left a repugnant smell) they downplayed it and said it was rubber. Now we are dealing with rat mites which they claimed we already had. They had the audacity to ASK me to leave a good review. To top it off it takes a while for them to come back and check up on their progress, only for them to sometimes not show up at all or be late despite our busy schedules. read more

As so many others have noted, this is an A+ service, embodied by Phil, who is owner but also the main technician. He is punctual, clear in his communication, polite, and I most importantly effective. I had a pretty good idea of what my rat/mouse problem entailed, but he noticed areas of rodent entry that I did not, and after setting traps in the attic and basement and sealing all of the points of entry (very professionally and cleanly done), our problems were resolved. I stand by what I said about the crew that sealed my house, but I'm incredibly disappointed in the after care. For the first follow up appointment, the technician was five hours late. No apologies were given. He also took my screwdriver that I left out for him to use to remove a panel to access the attic. For the second follow up appointment they kept canceling and rescheduling. When I told them to forget it, I get a text saying after making changes and efforts they can now show up for the scheduled appointment. I declined. Maybe I'm being petty, but I don't want to work with a company that treats me like that. Very disappointing. read more

Phil is the best! We always had pest control companies on monthly bases for the past decades. However, the problems are always there, and our rats problem is getting very serious in the past month. I wasn't happy with previous companies, so I found Phil. He showed up on time and spent hours inside and outside of my house and tried to find openings and where are the rats activities. Called Amores for a reported rodent problem in one of our rental houses. The renter had called one of the big three pest control companies and they presented what I felt was a real upsell proposal. Sebastian did a great job closing all the gaps in our crawlspace. There was a newly planted flowerbed close to one of the gaps and he was extra careful not to damage the saplings. They left this attic hatch open for two days. I just realized it today. Animals could've come into my home. They quoted us a very high quote. He also did not wear shoe covers and a body cover so when he went outside, he tracked in mud and poop dog poop into my home. I felt like that was very unprofessional for a very high quote. read more

There has been this persistent smell of rodent urine in one of our closets for literally decades, no matter what we have done. Not any more! I could not recommend Rywen Insulation more highly for rodent control work. We've had rodent control people here before, but never at the level that Rywen takes things to. They put in place genuine long-term preventative measures to keep rats and mice out, not just patching holes. And that has made all the difference. No more smell in our under-the-stairs closet! And, I'm not sure if it is always a part of their service, but they offered us a one-year warranty. Rats and mice did return --- probably due to a contractor leaving our crawlspace door open overnight with the lights on, several times (oops). But Rywen took care of the problem immediately, no questions asked and no additional money requested, for the entire year of the warranty. They aren't cheap. But they are soooo worth it.

Samim came out and did a very thorough evaluation, showing us dozens of photos of areas that needed attention. He also recommended new insulation, which we hadn't considered and told us our dryer vent needed repair. It took us a few weeks to schedule, during which time Samim followed up periodically, never pushy, always answering our questions and providing more info. His professionalism and knowledge was a huge reason why we chose to work with Attic Pros. On the day of the job, Osman and crew cleaned the attic and crawl space and installed new installation, while Douglas repaired the dryer vent and Kevin cleaned the ducts. They did an amazing job sealing off the work areas and keeping the house clean, despite it being very messy and grueling work! They spent about 3 hours vacuuming the attic and another half a day sweeping the crawl space by hand. Their attention to detail was above and beyond what we expected. We were sooo impressed! And Samim's recommendations were spot on - our dryer is much more efficient now and we noticed the house was cooler within hours of the new insulation being installed (it was the height of summer). We'd use and recommend them again and again!

The sales representative (Idan) presented a detailed plan to me for rat proofing my home's crawlspace, two garages and shed, plus cleaning up all droppings and contaminated debris and sanitizing the garages and shed. He assured me that they would use an eco friendly sanitation spray and not set any traps (my preference). Javier, on the first visit, did a great job sealing all the many openings. Roberto and his crew, on the second and last visit, did a phenomenal job cleaning and sanitizing the garages and shed. I am very happy with the results and the charges.
