I always love the Rio bowl. It's very fresh. They have definitely decreased the portion size of the chicken, which is disappointing. I do appreciate the clean ingredients and always feeling good after eating here.

    SIDE OF GF MAC'N CHEESE

For being super-healthy food, this was good. The curry tasted great, and the cheese bread especially had no discernible difference from typical cheese bread. The nice cream and brownies do not taste like the real thing, but for someone who can't eat regular dessert, they're probably delicious. The atmosphere has a fancy eatery feeling, which makes it feel like a special place to dine. My main gripe is that I wiped the table with an antibacterial wipe when we sat down, and it came away absolutely brown. That was kinda gross.

Small portions on the garden delight and the dressing was very strong of the vinaigrette. Mainly just want to address their ice/water dispenser machine. Be very careful using it! It was very appalling on what I found. I probably won't ever at this location which is close to my home and now skeptical at their sanitation for the kitchen. Here's some pictures of what it looks like!

    Mango Salmon Bowl

First time here. Salmon mango bowl was super tasty! The sauce was great and the bowl was flavorful while still being healthy. The cheese bread was unlike anything I have tasted and was given a few more right before they closed. Staff was very friendly. I also liked how they decorated the place -'d hung out for a few hours visiting with family. I'd definitely go back.

6 to 7 mushroom slices. So sad.

No consistency in the different locations. I got a mushroom toast here and it is amazing down in Orem. I will go there in the next couple days and post a picture so you can see it side-by-side but at this location I literally got six mushroom slices. stay tuned, and I will post a picture of how warm does their mushroom toast and a different quality of it. I also wanted to add egg which was not a problem, but I asked them how they cook it and they didn't know the words to use. I think English is our second language so I asked him did they fry it? Do they poach it? Do they hard boil it they said to me, we pasteurized the egg we have to pasteurize the egg in the oven. That was the response I got. Really?

A great restaurant that serves healthy, GF food and decent prices. Love their salads and being able to switch out protein options on it. They cater to your needs and make sure you're satisfied with your order (this is referring to dining in). Their acái bowl seems yummy and company seemed to enjoy it! I love that they have "nice" cream that's lactose free!

Those that I like have to meet a few requirements that I have for eating. I have celiacs, so i avoid gluten at all cost, including any moderate chance of cross contamination, Corn also bothers me so another food that I avoid. beyond that I am picky with what goes into my food and how the food is prepared. Now to the review. the first thing I do at any restaurant is ask about their gluten free options and about cross contamination. This was the first day that the Provo location was open, so I expected there would be blank stares. believe it or not that happens a lot. Here they knew about some of the food but not all of it when it came to my questions. So they went back to ask, "I want to make sure so let me ask". the next thing i knew I was speaking to the owner, going over all of the items and the options I had and what to avoid. He made some suggestions and we went ahead with our order. I got. the tri tip steak and my wife got gnochi. Oh another thing about how i like my food. I like the ingredients, steak, potatoes, vegetables, etc, seasoned and not the other way around. I find a lot of places over season their food. Not here. the steak, veggies, and mashed potatoes were lightly seasoned, just enough to enhance the flavor but not overwhelm the core ingredient. the steak was tender, the vegetables perfectly cooked and seasoned. I didn't even try and figure our what seasonings they used, I just enjoyed the meal. Short of this part of the meal, fantastic. With the gnochi, we had a little bit of an issue. There was a problem with how they were cooked, they were a little stiffer than they should be, but the sauce they were in was fantastic. BTW, they are not gluten free, so this is my wife's perspective. When they asked how our meal was we mentioned that to them. They looked at the gnochi and agreed. they then didn't just correct the issue, but went above and beyond. They asked if we wanted something else, made a suggestion since we couldn't decide and prepared that for us. They also did something else while we were there. They tried to make more batches of the gnocchi, not for us but so that they could see what went wrong. Then came back and told us what they had done and the results. The service was some of the best I have ever had. They had a good selection of gluten free options, depending on your sensitivity your options might change, but there are plenty of options and a few that are not on the menu. The owner suggested a burger on mashed potatoes, even though they have a gluten free bun. My gluten sensitvity is pretty high, so he was providing as many options for me as possible. All in all, I really liked the food, the service, and the attention to my food sensitivities.

If you're planning to dine there, make sure you don't have any pressing commitments afterward. On both of our visits, we spent an extraordinary amount of time simply waiting to be acknowledged. During our most recent visit, our group sat at a table right in the middle of the restaurant and could have driven all the way to the Draper location in the time it took for a server to notice we were there. We initially assumed the experience was a one-time issue, so we gave the American Fork location a second chance a few months later. Unfortunately, it was almost identical to the first visit. The pace of service was painfully S...L...O...W... The time from when we sat down until we got the special priviledge of actually ordering: 25 minutes! In contrast, the Draper location has consistently been a much better experience and appears to be managed far more efficiently. I'm glad they've expanded into American Fork, and the food certainly makes the restaurant worth visiting. I just hope they can improve their service processes so customers can enjoy a great meal without needing to set aside half their day to do it.
