Okay, I'll admit I wasn't crazy about this place when I first tried it years ago. Maybe I got the wrong things, but my opinion of it has changed since then. It's a great option for healthy foods for me near work, and one that I don't have to drive to. I enjoy getting food here regularly now, but sometimes the wait is atrocious! You can order ahead, but sometimes even then the pickup time is later than I'd like. I did have an experience recently where there was a lot of miscommunication with my order, and ended up with only half of what I ordered (got a refund for what they didn't make) because I was tired of waiting (10-12 minute wait turned into 30 minutes). But, I won't let that leave a bad taste in my mouth, and I have learned to navigate the wait time and will keep ordering lunch there! read more

We decided to stop here for dinner on our way to shop at the outlet stores nearby. I read the reviews here on Yelp, and we were a little nervous because of the several mentions of the bad service. We were pleasantly surprised however! We arrived at 5:30 on a Friday evening and it was pretty empty and there were plenty of people behind the counter that were helpful and kind. The menu is pretty extensive, and it was nice to watch them make it right in front of us at the counter. We ordered the chicken tuscan pizza and the Thai bowl with tofu. My husband loved his pizza. He said the flavors were really good and he loved the thin, crispy crust. My bowl was really good! I loved the rice, veggies, tofu and the carrots and raisins for a touch of sweetness (or is it craisins they put in there?) as well as the crunch of the cashews. It had a little spice too which was nice but it wasn't overpowering. We also ordered the inspiration acai bowl. It was good, but it seemed overpriced, especially since we just came from Hawaii and they have acai bowls much larger than that with better flavor for the same price. I know it's not the same since we are in Utah, but unless I was dying for an acai bowl I probably wouldn't order it again. it was hard to love it since we've had great ones. We love Aubergine! It's a staple for my husband and I. We love the Rio Bowl, Mediterranean Bowl and the Coconut Curry Bowl. We always enjoy the cheese bread as well. When you dine in, it's very clean and the line typically moves quickly. There's plenty of seating, and we love the pebble ice. The only critique I have is that the meat is not always consistent. We typically just ask them which is looking the best today and go with their recommendation. We'll definitely be back! read more

Reliably good, every time. I would eat here 3x / day every day if I could!! The açaí bowls don't have added sugar or sweeteners, which I appreciate, and they're huge and filling. They make bowls, salad, wraps, sandwiches, pastas - all to order. Salads are dressed and tossed before being served on the plate. Every meal comes with a complimentary cheese bread - yay! This place is great for those with dietary restrictions. Lots of gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options. I finally made it to Aubergine Kitchen. Since moving farther south I live closer to one and popped in on the weekend to order takeout for lunch. I was craving falafel so I went with the Mediterranean bowl, which includes baked falafel, kale, choice of hummus or baba ganoush, the Aubergine salad (tomatoes, peppers, onion, raisins, eggplant, seasonings), a carrot salad (carrots, raisins, seasonings), red cabbage, tabouli (cucumber, tomatoes, onion, quinoa, seasonings), micro greens, and tahini dressing that I got on the side. I chose baba ganoush as my base. A word I've said many a time, but never really knew what it was. It's roasted eggplant blended with garlic and tahini. Delish. I felt very healthy eating this bowl and it is a hefty portion, so I had half for lunch and the rest for dinner with some added protein. The roll they serve with the bowl reminded me of those cheesy ones you get at a Brazilian steakhouse. SO GOOD. The ingredients and people working there were both quality. I like the quick serve places that take a little extra time to make things special to order, and Aubergine does just that. There is nothing that I have had here that I do not like! Anything they make with salmon is a slam dunk! They make great rice cauliflower, and the new rice cauliflower bowl is great! The sandwiches and pitas have great flavor, but they usually make them too full, and it is tough to eat them and they fall apart often. The coconut curry bowl is another favorite with a bang of flavor. The only real downside is that most of the time, most of the employees seem unhappy to be at work, and it shows in the way they interact with customers. read more

Lots of roasted veggies that were super flavorable. The steak was really moist, tender and generous. My daughters told me I'd really like the chicken. I'm certain they're right. The three meals were $42+ tip. We drank water. Really nice inside and out. Friendly staff. They have a location in Sugarhood. I'd like to marry into the family, just so I could look forward to when they host family events.
