After looking at a couple options I settled on trying out Blind Dog's cleaning service. They offer an ultrasonic cleaning for records so thought I'd give them a shot. Mark was very helpful and quick to take care of my vinyl, and the price was fair for a double LP. The cleaning has increased the clarity for this record by a wide margin. Some crackling still remains, but probably have to accept that's from damage. Overall very happy with the service provided; glad my record could be restored to the point of enjoyable listening. Also an awesome shop to browse around. Clean, spacious and well organized. Will definitely come by again to pick up some records down the road.

I called the Geek Squad to have it installed. I spoke with a really good guy on the phone who set up the parameters of the job. I waited till I was ready and then called to schedule the install. Two guys came out but to their credit they knew they were in over their heads as this was gonna be a component system with all separate components. So I called back the GS and asked for customer service. The lady I spoke with called Magnolia Design Center. A store within a store at Best Buy in Costs Mesa. The CS rep got hold of Eric Armstrong who invited me down. I met him in the store and he took me on a tour of some fantastic gear which I could not be tempted with as I was on a mission to get my stuff installed. He not only calmed me down from the GS issue, he took care of the scope of work, did not make me spend more money than I had already, and told me Chris, the project manager would schedule the install. Chris called and scheduled me with David and Joseph who knew what they were doing, placed the equipment, ran the cables etc. there were still a few points that needed help that I discovered after they had left so I called Chris back and he sent Napoleon and Anthony. I thought Dave and Joseph were good but these guys were the very best. Highly technical, understood the remote programming etc. Napoleon suggested a couple of fans to dissipate the heat generated by my monster amps and said when the fans came it he would come back and move the shelving and install the fans. So fast forward a few days, Chris had them come back today and they did what they said, a very professional job, they programmed the remote properly so that everything worked perfectly. Cleaned up after themselves. Stayed with me to ensure all functions were straight. I am delighted. First of all the CS lady delighted me, Eric, actually won a customer for life by his treatment of me and my situation, Chris was great and followed up treated me with respect and kindness. And Dave and Joseph also were kind and helped but the rubber hit the road with Napoleon and Anthony. First of all they really knew their stuff- all their stuff and configured the remote, situated the gear so that it all turned on and off In the proper sequence and made sure that the Apple TV worked with the remote, as well as every other thing I had thrown at them. I am so delighted with their work that as soon as they left I sat down to write this review. However ... don't rely on their warranties, which are serviced by Geek Squad, and the two simply don't communicate. Our TV died while under Magnolia warranty. Geek Squad approved a replacement. Problem: Sony no longer makes that model. Replacement model would be OK, but Magnolia claims Geek Squad didn't inform them and now ... two weeks later ... Magnolia can still not tell me how much our credit will be (it'll take another week!). Unacceptable. Beware of the guarantees ... and how they'll be serviced (note: Magnolia service number connects you only to Geek Squad).

I scheduled the appointment to have a 12.3 Android Car Play unit in my Mercedes-Benz. I showed up this morning and met with Arian, a true professional at his trade as well as a kind, honest and knowledgeable individual. The shop is meticulously maintained and has a vast array of tools, work bench areas, awesome LED ceiling lighting, a waiting area, front office and conference/training room. This shop and team of professionals are a class act. Arian explained the installation process and timeline and I was quite impressed. The Rolls Royce in the shop that was getting customized with lighting and sound was a testament to the quality of work that Arian, Sam and the other team members provide when you bring your car into the shop. Arian called me when the car was completed and when I arrived gave me a very thorough orientation on the features, modes and operational functionality of the new unit.
