Went in to fix my passenger side speaker which was not working at all. Asked if they could also install an under the seat subwoofer I bought online. They priced matched my Amazon subwoofer and installed a more trusted brand and took care of some issues that would've costed way more elsewhere. I got a boss audio player for my car (upon research, I know, bad choice). When I first got it installed it kept turning off, consistently wasn't working. I brought it in and after attempting to test it, staff said it didn't work. To start, this guy price gouges like crazy and makes up prices on the spot. Tried to sell us a radio for $170 that was easily found elsewhere for $100. purchased the radio elsewhere and came back to get it installed. We pick up the car and notice a MASSIVE HIDEOUSLY GLUED crack in the radio bezel/head unit. We immediately call and the son says my installer didnt do it he would have told me but to return to discuss it. We come back and the owner tries to say the crack was already there, and that the installer showed him ahead of time, 100% NOT TRUE which we have a recent pic to prove. Here's my question, even if that was true WHY NOT CALL US AND SAY HEY THIS CRACK MIGHT GET WORSE IF WE GO AHEAD. But no they let us pay and walk away knowing it was so messed up. So horrible customer service regardless. Then he tries to act like the guy did us a favor by glueing it. Reluctantly agrees to give back $60 (paid $160). After driving away we notice several more cracks in the head unit. and here's the real kicker, he also dropped a nickle-sized drop of glue onto the brand new floor mat which I unknowingly set my purse down onto. Then when I went to pick it up it ripped the material of my purse onto the floor mat :))) ***so now THREE of our belongings have sustained damage from their HORRIBLE JOB*** the head unit looks so bad now and they didn't even put everything back together correctly and there are gaps everywhere. My husband called back today to see how they could help and despite the person he spoke to sounding like he wanted to help of course the owner chimes in extremely rude and refuses to make it right or do anything. I REGRET recommending this place and just know that if things don't go right they do NOT CARE. I came in with two blown speakers and a $800 budget in mind. Ash helps me the second I walk in and says let's check my car out. I refer that I have two blown speakers so I need replacements regardless. He then walks me through packages and explains each price point and what you are receiving. He even went out of his way so I didn't pay for a knob and got me a Memphis amp that included one saved me over $50 already. And included a deal for a pair of alpine speakers. My first time coming here after decades of seeing it. I have to say the customer service was great had nice conversation with everyone. The one complaint I have is the installation. I bought a stereo and it works great but the microphone wire was hanging so I had to clean it up also my previous stereo had a usb and it would of been nice if they could of just used the same one instead they just threw (literally it was thrown in there) the connection in my glove compartment without letting me know it was there, I found out and coiled it up nicer than just throwing it in there. All and all I will go back but I would ask for the installer to do a little better job and hiding wires, oh and cleaning. DON'T COME HERE!!! Go to ACA AUTOMOTIVE. This review is 3-months overdue; allowing me to cool down before rating these jerks, w/out using extreme foul language. Crooked. Unprofessional. Inattentive. Shysters. Waste of time & money! These incompetent fools!!! Where do I begin?! We brought our Cayenne here (mistake #1) thinking this was the place we dealt with for years while we resided in Bellflower. We find out, after-the-fact, it's not. The name changed from Pacific Stereo to Pacific Audio with a new staff of no-good-for-nothing rip-offs who are untrained in basic customer service or installation or clean-up during and after the shitty job! We brought our vehicle in for a new sound system (again, thinking this was the original place we used to support years ago), we paid for a back-up camera and an alarm system. MAN!!! We really screwed our log-droppers going to these fools! It was a few minutes after 9am, Tony, scammer #1, was just as dull as the Styrofoam strewn about the counter. He promised installation and top-of-the-line crap, blah, blah, blah. After he quoted us a ridiculous price of $1600- and telling us how awesome the deal was, hubby and I said, "What the heck? Go ahead, do it". There were zero cars being worked on and Tony claimed he could have it to us in about 6 hours. No worries, I thought, we'll wait in their uncomfortable waiting area, I could work on writing out my Christmas cards and then we'll stroll across the way to The Heritage Family diner and get lunch then our car 'SHOULD' be ready. Wrong again! It was 6pm, our stereo install wasn't done yet! WTF??? A simple JVC KW-V850BT system, what's the hold up? The excuse: back-up camera difficult, that's why stereo delayed. We thought, that could be reasonable- give 'em benefit of the doubt. Tony asked us to come back tomorrow, December 6, 2019, and he'll make sure everything is installed properly. We returned early a.m. on Friday, December 6th. Tony said in a few hours we could have our vehicle. We decided to wait, thinking it couldn't take that much longer to do what they had to do. By noon, we again strolled across the street to Heritage for lunch, and Hector recognized us from the day before and gave a few free brownies to take with us after lunch. So thoughtful. We returned and Tony was sitting motionless behind the counter, I offered him one of our brownies and he gladly accepted- also claiming our car would be done soon. It was 3 pm on Friday, December 6th, hubby was already impatient & agitated by the long delay without explanation. I was curious, so I walked to the back where the installer folks were, and there our car sat, unattended- no one working on it. The hatch was up, doors were open and when I looked inside, there lay cut pieces of wire, and plastic parts that went to my car, just sitting on the mats. I yelled out, asking who was working on my car, or was it finished??? No response- just blank stares. I asked again, "Who is working on this car, or has it been finished??" Nothing. Nada. Deer in the headlights! I ask Tony why is our car unattended- we've been sitting for two days and still our car isn't finished with the installation. Tony pointed to an old dude who had been standing at the counter talking with another guy- and Tony said, "He's the owner". I asked to owner, Abe, and his excuse to me, "It's going to take some time, these cars (meaning my Cayenne) are difficult". WHAT DO YOU MEAN DIFFICULT? Either you know how to install or you don't! Boiling brain juices!!! Some terse words!!! And their assurance all will be well. We left the car over the weekend, by Monday, December 9th, we still hadn't heard from Tony or Abe or anyone- hubby called Tony, who said by Tuesday, he'll call with an update. We didn't hear from him until Wednesday, and when we got there, our rear hatch wouldn't lock, the sounds inside the vehicle were awful, we couldn't hear all the speakers and one excuse after another led us to higher irritation!!! Hubby had some strong words for Tony and Abe and they both said they did a good job and if anyone could diagnose that they did something wrong, they would pay to correct it. We drove to the dealer and they said they wouldn't touch our vehicle after someone installed aftermarket shit in it, then we went to ACA Automotive and Victor and crew did a superb job in undoing the shit Abe and crew ruined and messed up. It took a few days, but they did it!!! BBB and Bureau of Automotive Repair will hear about this mess. It's been 3 months and still the shitty sounds coming from the radio are disappointing, the alarm is wired to go off at random and those idiots still need training, starting with ethics, then customer service and most importantly, installation! Steer clear from those crooked, opportunistic, imbeciles. YouTube could have shown me how to install it better than them!!! Go to ACA Automotive, see Victor or Mr. Kalb in Long Beach!!! read more

We called the shop to see if they might be able to fix an issue we were having with our driver side door on our Mazda 3. It wasn't recognizing that the door was closed and thus was draining our battery. John was helpful and told us to bring it in for his techs to take a look at it to see if they can diagnose and fix the issue. Brought it in, they looked at it for an hour. Charged us an hour for labor, but said it would be applied to cost to do the repair if we moved forward. Fair enough. They quickly diagnosed the issue (broken door lock actuator). They gave us a quote for parts and labor. We called around... the price they gave us was decent... and our local Mazda dealership actually had the original part in stock for pick up same day! Called Pacific Audio back and they were happy to work with us and just charge us for the labor to install the part, if we brought the part same day. They honored the deal and fixed the problem. They could easily have been dicks about the pricing/service since we were bringing our own part in, but they were great about it and got it done. Respect! We may bring the car back to fix a broken amp and install new speakers/head unit soon. They earned the business. read more
