Of course, my luck struck and the convertible top stopped working today, which made accessing the rear window extremely difficult since it couldn't be put halfway down. To make matters harder, there are two tabs on each side that make getting into the corners almost impossible (see picture). Lino was super upfront and explained that without the top opening, it would be a tough job and he couldn't guarantee a 100% bubble-free installation. But after about three hours, it came out perfect! He pointed out a few tiny imperfections that will dry up and disappear as it cures, but reassured me that if anything is still there after a week, I can just bring it back and he'll fix it. What impressed me most is that even though the original quote assumed the top would come down to make the labor easier, he didn't charge me a dime extra for the additional effort. I highly recommend Top Tint Shop! They are super honest, friendly, and skilled at what they do. Plus, the waiting room is really comfortable, featuring a big puffy leather couch and complimentary snacks. I'll definitely be back to bring my wife's car to get the side windows tinted as well.

The price was fair and they were very professional. They give you a physical warranty card, listing out the percentages on each window and product information so that if there are any issues you just take it back and they file a warranty claim. There were no issues with the tint. I did a walk in and I was willing to wait, but once other employees saw me waiting they all went to my car to make sure I got out of there quickly which was really considerate (although I truly did not mind waiting!). Despite moving fast, the results were perfect. The tint job was great, and the heat reduction was immediately noticed with my car. My ac sucked and the tint help it not have to work so hard to keep the car cool. I ended up trading in the car, but I attached photos I took before I had it sold. The only reason I did not go back for my new car was due to the distance from where I live but I regret it! I really wish I brought my current car to them. Trust me, they will take care of you like you are one of their own. They have nothing to hide, they are proud of their work and for good reasons.

Make no mistake, this is not your clean, professional looking car stereo store like Best Buy, Circuit City or Fry's. Think of this more like a mom and pop shop. Store looks messy, installation area looks disorganized, there is no waiting area, installers run around between cars. You aren't even sure if the tech is working on your car or the next. It feels like a factory and in case you didn't know, this is a primarily hispanic operated shop. HOWEVER... this is the BEST place for cheap installation/troubleshooting service around the area. I can't speak for product pricing because I bought my new stereo on Amazon.com. I have a 1998 Lexus ES300 and I installed a JVC KW-HDR81BT in my car by myself (first car stereo install job ever). However, I had an issue of noise popping every time I turned off the unit. During my own installation, I used a Metra 99-8155 harness to integrate the factory Pioneer amp. I'm not a car / audio kind of guy. I'm more of a computer guy so I was looking for a place to diagnose my issue and fix it for me at a reasonable price, especially when considering that I did a good portion of the installation already (I'm OK taking out/putting in equipment from my car but I didn't know anything about advanced amp wiring). I went around town and most places wanted to charge me $45 and up just to look at the car with no guarantee of a solution. I called in Force Electronics and Adolfo told me to just come in and they'd take a look at the car. Once there, Odalpo helped me. I told him the issue and he said: "Let me see what I can do." To my surprise, he tested everything before even mentioning anything about pricing. He tried grounding the RCA connectors. That didn't work. He tried putting a resistor on the amp on/off line as suggested by other car stereo shops. That didn't work. He tested various resistor strength. That didn't work either. He tried isolating the problem by turning my stereo on/off with no RCA connections hooked up and using some kind of ground loop isolator/noise filter. The issue was still there. Finally, he suggested by-passing the amp like some other car stereo shops did. However, I was hesitant to do that b/c I heard I'd lose the use of the factory subwoofer and most other places wanted a lot of money for that kind of job. He explained to me that I could still use the subwoofer if I was to only by-pass the amp for the speaker wires but leave the RCA connectors go through the Metra harness to keep the amp working. And that definitely did it. It worked like magic! I let Odalpo do the work and Adolfo only charged me $30 for it. Before I got to the shop, I had the stereo plugged in but not fitted into my console. For that price, I only expected Odalpo to do the wiring but he actually did everything. He by-passed the amp for the speaker wires, reconnected everything, tested the sound and power of the subwoofer and put everything back into the console. I leave a very happy happy customer. Odalpo was very friendly, showed me everything he was doing, explained everything as he was doing it and boy did he work fast. Thank you again Odalpo and Adolfo for a great job and great pricing! For people in Long Beach, I'd recommend checking out Shelby's Car Stereo and Sound Tech for great service as well. read more

Don't come to this place the owner is a crook!!! I came in a couple months ago to get a system in my car. They set it put and it started making engine noise when I drive and I told them that it didn't use to do that before. Instead of fixing it he blames it on my amp and says that its too old. So I dropped it. I didn't have money to buy a new amp right away. So a couple months later I buy a brand new amp and I was excited to actually be able to listen to my system without that squeaking. I put the new amp on and to my surprise its still doing the noise. So I I go back to let them know that it was not my old amp and they never put it right the first time. And the owner tries to tell me that it is still my amp which I bought brand new in the box. So he starts trying to convince me to buy another amp because mine sucks so I kinda started believing him and I had him put in a new amp to test it out before I buy it. And its still making the noise.. so he says "this amp doesnt work either" so he tries another one and its still doing it??? How does it make sense that every single amp doesn't work? But to him it couldn't possibly be his instalation it was the 4 different amps that don't work. At the end I left mad and he was still trying to charge me for cheking it that day just because I didn't want to buy a new amp from him. If they had put it right the first time I wouldn't have had to come back the second time obviously. Long story short... DO NOT COME TO FORCE ELECTRONICS. THEY ARE CROOKS AND WILL NOT DO A GOOD JOB AND THEN THEY WILL TRY TO CHARGE YOU FOR FIXING THEYRE MISTAKE!!! read more

The owner Adolfo, is a real con artist. I have gone to him for many services for my various cars over the years. Initially he will charge you a very reasonable amount, and ask you to write a good review for his store. After he gains your confidence, that's when he will strike and hit you with a staggering number. Even the items that he has in stock are overpriced and are always the older model. I went to have the gas charged in my car. He told me that it would cost $60. Then he told me that this was a special gas and would cost $300. Then he told me that there were all sorts of issues with the wiring of the air conditioning and that I would have to leave the car with him for a day. The next day when I went to collect my car, he charged me another $250. He charged me a total of $550 plus TAX. He charged me TAX for labor. Total cost was about $575. Stay away from this place. They will not only Rip You Off, but they will also rip all the wiring in you expensive car when ever you upgrade to an after market product. If you have given this place a good review, then you still have not been "HIT." read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! They installed a alarm on my truck and a kill switch and often and random the truck won't start I spend over a hour messing with truck trying everything to get it to start. I finally took it to Best Buy found out the used crappy connectors and that is why it wouldn't start after calling force several time asking for help only to get bullshit answers like it is my battery I have a brand new battery. They also installed a alarm switch in my tailgate which was put in sideways so when I close tailgate it bends it they did it twice. I am sitting here writing this review because my truck won't start again it has been almost 2 hours Best Buy says they have to rip out entire alarm and do it all over again to have this not happen another whole day wasted redoing what force should have done in first place as well as the time I have lost trying to start my truck urggggggggg read more

Price: I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome of my visit. I got a full-tint on my car, 2 Kicker 12" Subs (Including the box/cabinet), & 2 amps for an amazing price that would NOT have matched other places I visited. Time: After looking through the reviews I was a little skeptic of how long it would take to get the job done, but it was done under 2 hours which was good enough for me considering the amount of cars that were being worked on! He will try taking every dollar out of your pocket to put junk in your car. When you call his shop he is VERY RUDE. The only thing that separates businesses is customer service and this place just plain stinks! HORRIBLE BUSINESS! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! LOCATION IS A NIGHTMARE! STAY AWAY PEOPLE!!! Spend the extra $ and deal with a real business not a money hungry joke of a place. Took 3 weeks for our car dvd player to not work, no call, no sorry for the inconvenience, Nothing! DO NOT COME TO FORCE ELCTRONICS. They are not a good business and they do not care about you once you have paid them and are out the door. They will jack up whatever they are trying to set up for you and then if you go back they will ignore you until you offer to pay more. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THAT? I wish I could give 0 stars. I had taken my Toyota Camry to Adolfo at Force Electronics. He is a super nice guy...I had ordered all my parts online. Adolfo offered a good price for the installation and I had him do the job. He installed navigation, camera, sensors, seat covers etc. I must say that he did a very good job and the price was excellent. I recommend this place. read more

I was extremely disappointed with the result of work they did! I went in for some tint and a stereo install and they tore my headliner from the back plus broke my rear brake light while installing the tint and the stereo was wired wrong making my dashboard and center console no longer light up. Very bad service! Would not recommend to anyone. read more

I suggest everyone not to give them any payments electronically, I believe they employ hackers and use the company as a conduit to extract ,money from people who don't even do business with them read more

I am writing this to warn other consumers about my experience with Stereo Blvd. I paid $2,800 on 10/25/2025 for work that was never completed. As of March 2026, the owner (Hank) still refuses to refund my $1,800 balance and has tried to delay and postpone to complete the work on my vehicle for 5 months. According to the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA), this business is operating on a CANCELLED license (see attached screenshot from DCA archives showing it was cancelled in 2009). Additionally, they are performing tire and rim installations without the required Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) registration. A formal state investigation is currently active with the Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS Case #252602346). BAR (The Bureau of Automotive Repair) complaint confirmation reference number 65CF-MQX7MX for performing Wheel/Rim without license. Please verify any business license at search.dca.ca.gov before handing over your money. Do NOT make same mistake like mine and DO NOT believe in the owner's sweet talk but DO your thorough research and shopping ahead. ***UPDATE: In his response, the owner blames my Tesla's "16V lithium battery" for his failure. This is a massive red flag for any EV owner. The 16V system has been the standard in Teslas since 2022. By blaming the battery now, he is admitting he lacked the basic technical knowledge to work on my car, despite luring me into a $2,800 "parts deposit" by claiming he had done many of these before. A true professional would know that specialized EV audio components (like Alpine's Tesla-specific kits) are designed for this exact voltage. He took the money for a job he wasn't qualified to perform, stalled for weeks, and still hasn't provided a refund. Stay away if you own a modern EV. ***Now since I have filed complaint with California Bureau of Household Goods and Services and Bureau of Automotive Repair, the owner Hank response with "wait and see" attitude rather than issuing me the refund!
