Audi Plano was an epic fail today. My husband and I went here so I could figure out what my next vehicle will be as my lease is ending soon. We were there for about 20 minutes and absolutely no one came to even ask if we needed assistance. Also as hot as it is the vehicles inside the showroom were all locked so we could only see the inside of the ones outside in the 100 degree heat. We had several sales folks walk past us and say absolutely nothing. Not even a greeting. If I ever consider an Audi, I won't get it there. read more

We were interested in a particular vehicle but wondered if certain things could be repaired/replaced as part of the deal. Couldn't get a straight answer from him - He kept running back and forth to someone (service department?) and wouldn't ever return with a clearer answer. This is game-playing. You won't win business this way. From the get-go, he had a very fake/phony sort of vibe that did nothing in the way of earning my trust. He was also a little brusque at times, telling me to step aside or move back, instead of being polite and asking in a nice way (remember the word, 'please?'). Went to buy a car for my daughter. Salesperson kept leaving us at his desk. Took our keys to check our trade in then did not return them. It was a way to keep us from leaving when he left for 30 minutes. We test drove two cars. The second time he said to go a different way because police were out and would get them for not having a dealer plate on car. He quickly shoved a paper with amounts on in front of my daughter and told her to sign without giving her time to look it over and think. Did not print out info about car. have a sleazy used car sales guy high pressure feel. we had been at another dealership before and after he saw water bottle in trade in he questioned us about it. i wish that dealer had car we wanted because they were nice. avoid this place if you can. read more

Bought a beautiful pre-owned BMW X5, 2021. Service and transaction was great that night. But they still owe us a level 2 charger and a fob for the car that as of 6 weeks...WE STILL DONT HAVE. Excuse after excuse so far. The lack of customer service as been appalling for a high end dealer. I have left messages for the salesman and manager. I have never heard from the manager and occasionally I will get a couple of words texted to me by the salesman. Worst communicators ever and cannot seem to do anything after you purchase a car. BEWARE TO PROSPECTIVE BUYERS. Unfortunately NOT giving any stars isn't an option. What don't I recommend about Audi Plano? I don't recommend buying a vehicle from them. Flew down there from Nashville on a Thursday night, landed in time to look at the vehicle. Was allowed to take it for a short text drive through town but was NOT given the opportunity to get on the highway. Other than the test drive, the vehicle was parked at the dealership and also was never let to idle for any amount of time. The next day, I made the decision to drive home with the S7, and signed all the paperwork provided by the dealership staff, Cassandra. Before making my 700+ mile trip back home, I asked the salesman to fill the tires and the salesman assured me they check all of that before any car leaves the lot...turns out tires did need air, and they filled 2 of them. Trip home was fine as far as engine performance only stopping to cut engine off while I filled up for fuel. I did notice and had mentioned several times to people over the phone including the salesperson that the tires felt like they were out of balance. I take very good care of my vehicles I already own so I had already planned on getting new tires installed and balanced when I arrived home. The SECOND I pulled into my driveway, the dash lit up like a Christmas tree and could feel the engine start to miss. This same issue continued into the next day. Check engine light came on as well as the EPC light. When hooked up to the computer, the codes the car gave were "Ignition Coil G Primary/Secondary circuit" "Random multiple cylinder misfire detected" and "Cylinder 7 misfire detected". I contacted my salesman and let him know what was going on and advised him I would be taking it to the closest dealership to me in Nashville. I had to take the day off from work and drive an hour south to Nashville. Nashville dealership advised they found a "loose wire" and that was the issue that was causing the engine to misfire. After paying the $251 service fee, I continued to my appointment to get new tires put on. After paying $2453.00 to get new tires mounted, the technicians made me aware that ALL 4 RIMS on the car were bent and two of the 4 could not be balanced AT ALL because of the conditions of the rims. Let Audi Plano know and they advised they would not be taking care of the rims because their techs at the dealership signed off on the vehicle and said they were ok to drive on...unacceptable. I left the care lot with the assumption that I was being sold a sound and most importantly, SAFE vehicle. Sadly I was wrong and Audi Plano will not hold themselves accountable. The cheery on top of this nightmare of a "purchase"....Cassandra failed to have me sign my purchase agreement. I handed over a down payment and check for my loan, trusting Audi Plano was competent enough to handle a fairly normal transaction...sadly I was wrong there as well. Throughout this whole ordeal, while my salesman was as helpful as he could be, friendly and professional, the financial girl Cassandra and the manager Shawn were extremely rude and very demanding upon learning of their own mistakes. They realized that they have made a mistake and have tried to strong-arm and threaten me into a contract with a lemon. This review may have been different if the dealership had owned up to their own mistakes and putting a lemon out in the lot. But instead, like others have stated in their previous reviews, management chose to act beligerante and disregard the well being of their consumer. Now they are holding my down payment and threatening me. I just want to walk away with my down payment + tire money and my dignity, and they refuse. I even told them that I would eat the diagnostic, day off work and engine fix. Complete nightmare of a situation that I've saved for over a year for. read more

This will be my first review for anything ever and unfortunately it couldn't get worse. I started talks to purchase a car here last Saturday. Had submitted a loan application Sunday and was attempting to work out the numbers. I expressed to the salesman I would like to leave a deposit and expressed my intent to purchase while we work on the numbers. He let me know the dealership does not take deposits. I let him know I was uncomfortable with that but to hopefully have everything finalized the next morning as we were nearing the end of the day. In the morning I was told I would be receiving a call from the business manager to which I never received anything. I contacted the salesman in the morning trying to get an update so we can lock things up, to which he said,"another associate set up an appointment for the car that same morning, and it would be available if we did not have a signed commitment" I told him the previous night I was looking to put down a deposit..and if they needed something signed I would be happy to do that immediately. To which they said that he had spoken to his manager and that they have to provide "fair opportunity" to the client with the appointment in the morning. I said that doesn't make any sense as I have, and am expressing intent and will do whatever is required to secure the car. They literally did not allow me to do so. So I was at the mercy of some guys appointment that morning to see if they wanted the car or not, even though I had been working on it for a couple days and have already expressed intent to purchase. Also keep in mind I was calling the dealership all morning to speak with management about this absurd situation and see if I could bypass the salesman and put a commitment to move forward in writing or do whatever I needed to, to which a manager said he'd call me right back after he investigates, which he did not. Sure enough that appointment bought the car. So even though I was the first inquiry about the car and had been working on a deal, expressed intent to do whatever I needed to do to buy it, they choose to sell the car to some person who came after myself. I don't know if this was because I'm an out of state buyer or what but this was the the most absurd, illogical, and foolish decision and another testament to why no one likes buying cars or working with any slimey dealerships. Who in their right mind says to a customer"no you can't buy this car because another customer is coming to see it and they may like it too so they get first pick"? Car was STOLEN... no response from management. Our Mazda CX-5 was stolen six weeks after purchasing it from Audi Plano. Their team mailed us our license plates and a spare key with no signature requirement and did not provide us with a tracking number. Someone stole the package and subsequently stole the car. Car was recovered by the police, but was totally trashed and damaged. The general manager never returned any of our calls or emails to confirm he was aware of what happened, looking into their procedure/policy for mailing keys, or to ensure us his team had nothing to do with the theft. Their team expressed zero empathy or concern when we called to let them know what happened and get more details for the police report. This was an upsetting experience made that much worse by the team and general manager at Audi Plano. read more

When I took it in to get fixed they told me it would cost me $1,200 to get fixed. I have not made 1 payment, and already I have to pay over $1,000 to have it fixed After going back and forth with my sales person about me purchasing a car with faulty brakes that are considered to be passing per inspection, but are in a yellow area according to another one of their dealership service person, this was her response: "They are not on the "yellow" 3mm would be yellow. Anything above is green and passes. The brakes are fine. Like i said the car was priced accordingly, and we provide the inspection report when we sell. The car would have been more if it had new brakes. Not bad business practices at all. The car is great. My service advisor, James Merriman, was very professional and helpful. Even after inflating the tires, my Audi A5's tire pressure light remained on continuously. James identified my two front tires as safety hazards due to their incremental air loss and assisted me in replacing them the same day. I would not buy a car from this dealership. They will lie to you and sell you brand new junk!!! I bought a 2022 Mercedes and I have had nothing but issues. But let's start with the fact that when I was in financing, they sold me a warranty and told me that I would bring my car to Audi because they're all German Cars and they would be able to work on my vehicle. Needless to say two weeks later my AC started to stink. Never EVER stopping again in this place, two interactions here are enough: - Stopped by to buy one quart of coolant before a trip, they offered to just do a courtesy top fill for free same day. 30mins later I drive the car out and before even LEAVING their parking lot the engine light comes up. Waste of time scheduling with service department - don't bother coming here. I made an appointment a week out to have a couple warranty items looked at on my vehicle. I drove to the dealership on a Saturday at 7:00 AM to hear that they run 30-40 cars in rotation so if I was willing to leave the vehicle there they would be able to look at it in a week. What is the point of making appointments? I don't plan on having my service work done here now. I will find a dealership to work with, as I also didn't have a great experience with the finance department. When I was buying my vehicle, I had my credit run to look at interest rates. The first rate they brought was high so I told the contact that I know I can do better and was thinking of financing elsewhere. I said that I also might pay cash. Apparently that wasn't what she wanted to hear, so she actually threatened me that they might sell the vehicle I was closing on to someone else. I ended up completing the purchase shortly afterwards when the finance department was miraculously able to match the interest rate from a bank I applied with online. I've bought several vehicles before and I've never been as annoyed with someone in the process. I really don't know if I need a 3rd strike. read more

He was not my sales person but I called with an issue on my associate's day off. Not only did he handle it despite not being part of my sale, he ordered a part and stayed on it until the end contacting me regularly. Their incompetent finance people overpaid the bank for my trade in by $263 and when I asked for the money they told me to contact the other finance company. They only show receiving the correct amount. So they apparently Audi Plano pocketed the difference. I have called Audi Plano to try to resolve the issue. After explaining the issue to the receptionist and asking to speak to a manager, I was promptly transferred to a voicemail account with no reply. Obviously no one is interested in helping me. I will never purchase from this dealership again. Followup: Toyota Financial Services came through and sent me a check for the overpayment. I purchased a car the day before my birthday and I had an amazing experience with my salesman, Israel. I'd visited all of the Audi dealerships in the DFW area and Audi Plano was by the far the nicest. I thought the finance manager, Joanne, was rude, but I chalked it up to me being tired from being there for hours. Because my experience went well, a month later, I was back to purchase a car for my son. This experience was TERRIBLE! Somehow I was stuck working with the same finance manager, Joanne. I noticed she was rude again, but was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt because I was "hangry." It wasn't until she rushed my 85 year old father out of her office that I knew for a fact it wasn't me it was her. I didn't say anything because the deal was closed. When I went back to pick up the car, I was informed I had to talk to her again because she trashed my paperwork. That's when she showed her true colors. She started telling me what I couldn't do and was very aggressive. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me she was the manager. I replied, "...of Audi Plano?!" She told me she would get the manager but that he would back her. She came back with my salesperson. I was confused. He got a manager for me and resolved the issue in the 5 minutes I allotted him. Her behavior was completely off-putting and I'd never purchase another car from them if I have to work with her. My car -- I purchased a used car but it only had 10K miles on it. Even though I was told they were preparing the car to sale they didn't. The oil wasn't changed and it needed washer fluid. That required 2 additional trips back to the dealership. I live a hour away. My sons car -- there was a recall on the car that wasn't mentioned to me. I had to mention it to them from my own CarFax report. It could have been an oversight but it felt dishonest to me. My son realized that none of the charging ports work in his car. I called to ask if they could fix it and they told me no. The car was less than a week old. Why wasn't this checked before hand, or did they sell it knowing they didn't work?! It felt dishonest. Purchasing a car can be long process but it doesn't have to be. I think the dealership needs to work on being more efficient in their process, provide training for their staff in being kind, and throughly checking their vehicles . I'm uncertain if I'll purchase another vehicle from them again as the details matter to me and they missed the mark. We have purchased 4 cars from this dealership as everything has always ran smoothly. Well, that's in the sales part. DO NOT get your car serviced there though. Our Q5 never charged from day 1. Then we got a recall notice regarding the charging cord. We brought it in and was told it would only take about an hour. Well, that turned into 6 days! The service department was very unorganized and it took pulling teeth to get updates on what was going on. Not sure if employees have changed or the management, but this was a terrible experience! After finally getting our car back, while driving off the lot, I saw that the battery charge said 0%. I turned around and inquired about this and was told they do not automatically charge cars. "customers must request it to be charged". SERIOUSLY!!!??? "Descent" customer service would have them call me to ask if I would like my car charged. OF COURSE I WOULD!! Duh! Unbelievable. This is one of the worst service departments for a dealership I've ever have been to. I've visited here for 6 separate occasions with two vehicles, and have never had a good experience. I was told it would take 2 hours for them to replace a tire. After waiting for 2.5 hours, I was not notified of any progress. I went to check on their progress myself, and they hadn't even looked at my vehicle. The lack of loaner vehicles, poor communication, the inability to get in contact with the warranty department over the phone, and the nickel and diming practices have me baffled as to how they remain in business. I visited here for scheduled maintenance, and received an outrageous bill. I called later and asked for an itemized receipt, and they magically knocked off $500 from my bill. Compared to Audi Dallas, and even a couple of Mercedes service departments, I do not feel like a valued customer. read more

The worse dealership experience I've ever had. We took our car in, expecting to wait for service. They apologized and said it's be at least 3-4 days before they could even look at the car. We were understanding but knew that this would mean we'd be without our car an extended amount of time and we would need a loaner. They were three weeks out on any loaners so we agreed to come back when they had one available. We took the loaner expecting follow up in 4-5 days. Over a week later they call to tell us they couldn't diagnose the main problem we took it in for and that they wanted to run it through the wash and we'd get a text when it was ready. Three days later after calling they say it will be ready in a few hours, after again saying they wanted to run it through the wash. We pick up the car and the exact same issue we took it in for occurs in less than an hour after pickup, it's clear they didn't even try and just wanted the $500 "diagnostic" fee. I've left four voicemails since with our "rep" whom we've never seen on any of our visits and haven't gotten any response...going on day 6. Save yourself and go somewhere else. read more

Honestly walked in with high hopes but was the worst experience I've had at an Audi dealership. I had an appointment for 10:30am to service my car. I came in for an oil change and we agreed to replace my back windshield wiper. I didn't end up leaving till 4pm. I sat around this place 5hours waiting for an oil change. And I will say that they do offer to order you a Lyft but when he said it would be a few hours, I was expecting two or three. There was not any communication about how much longer the wait would be until I had already waited 4 hours telling me I had another hour to go. Stopped by Audi Plano on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by a wonderful sales woman -Kassandra Moran. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and quite patient, especially since the purchase was completely on impulse! The Audi showroom (and restroom) are clean and refreshments are available. The entire process only took a couple of hours before I was on the way home with a new whip with a full tank of gas. No pressure at Audi Plano- just amazing service :) read more

We bought a demo Q7 from them under warranty and have had continuous warranty issues with the vehicle (software / electrical items) with poor responsiveness from our advisory with major delays in getting our vehicle properly fixed and an inability to provide a loaner car. Major mistake in doing business with a corporate owned dealership with high turnover with their staff. Now looking to trade in vehicle and do business with Sewell. Lesson learned! read more
