Historically, shopping for a new car has always been a nightmare for me. The pressure, bait and switch tactics, lack of transparency and general distrust of auto sales personnel. My experience at Audi Rocklin has changed ALL of this! Here is my story: I had been looking to replace my 2004 BMW 5-series for close to 18 months. As a Hertz President's Circle member, I would rent a different car every week just so I could "test drive" new cars. Up until March 20, 2019, I had never driven or been in an Audi. I had pre-conceived bias against Audi from a bad 60 minutes show from the 80's. A friend of mine said, "Mike, you should look at Audi." I walked into Audi Rocklin and met with Jamie Dendrinos (Audi Brand Specialist) who immediately greeted me and offered me a bottle of water. I was extremely blunt (borderline rude) and told him that "I hated cars and was not going to buy anything tonight." I told him to listen carefully and don't play games with me. Within 2 minutes we were looking at the car that I bought, that night. The Sales Manager, Conrad Dodd was extremely professional and probably a little taken by my lack of filter. He and Jamie listened, trusted me and that I would buy the car I had selected if they would give me a few hours to think about it. As they say, the rest is history. My purchasing experience was flawless. No games. No pressure. Professionalism that few organizations display and an amazing car for the price I wanted to pay. My R8 ran into a bit of trouble away from home and Jet at Audi Rocklin went above and beyond to help. On a day trip from SF to Folsom, the car threw a low oil light. Normally that means adding a quart of oil, which I did. Long story short, a quart ended up being too much and I needed to drain the extra oil. Audi Rocklin was the nearest dealer, so I showed up at 3pm on Saturday without an appointment. After I explained the situation, Jet immediately took the car in, checked to confirm the excess oil level, and drained the extra amount. The whole thing took 30-40 mins, and best of all, was free of charge! The overall experience was not only considerably better than I have had locally (at Audi San Francisco and Audi Oakland), but hands down the best I have seen at any dealership (including BMW). read more

Horrible Service Department at Rocklin Audi. Rocklin Audi dealership cannot care any less for you or your car. I tried sending several notes and letters in hopes to get a response including many calls to this dealership's management and resolve the issue but after almost a month no response as of yet. Experiencing Front Break System issues with my Q7 in low miles. Rocklin Audi rep says since warranty was applied once, even though they admit it is wrong they would not do anything about it. So I am left with defective front brake system. Been dealing with this issue since my Q7 had only 8K Miles. Now only 24K miles on my Q7 still under warranty. I no longer enjoy driving my Audi. This is the 3rd Audi I have owned. read more

I have to update my experience: After dealing with an unresponsive service tech and, unfortunately, with a brand new, expensive vehicle with electrical issues, the service department stepped in. Cindy was great to work with. She worked hard to alleviate my issues and frustration. Also Luke, the general manager, got involved and worked hard to help wherever he could. I think, I had bad luck with a car that has stellar reviews but which no one could fix the issues. A typical "lemon." The service after my initial encounters went from bad, to good, to top notch. I don't believe so much updating reviewers as they get probably a good deal with the business to update their review. I waited for quite some time to update my review because I wanted to see if the service would go down. I can tell that everyone - from the service department to upper management in sales was genuinely concerned about my experience and well-being. They assisted me with my correspondence with the manufacturer - since my error messages and electrical issues were clearly a manufacturing issue - and not a service issue. They helped me get the result I wished for with the manufacturer. Additionally, at no time did I get the feeling that there was an added pressure to stay with the Audi family. Driving from Sac to Santa Cruz on a battery that wasn't charging was not an easy task. I had to get my battery recharged twice until I realized it was the battery that was already running out for good. I had my toddlers and my mom and had no other option but to ask if they would change my battery the same day. Josh Choy was excellent, he was empathetic, listened, and was able to get my battery changed and I was able to get home with my family safe. Audi Rocklin Offered a free 10 Pt inspection and free new windshield wipers. After Audi cancelling twice they picked my car up and spent 45 minutes filling forms out. I was toldI would receive my car back the same day before five pm. I just received a call telling me they would drop off my car on Tuesday and they would charge me tax of$5 for wipers. read more

My wife and I were shopping around for our first Audi. We weren't having the best experience with dealers close to where we live. They felt like the typical dealer experience I loathe so much (the feeling where they act like they hold the cure to cancer and you just have to take it). As a result, I started reaching out to other dealerships, even those a bit further away. Mind you, I wasn't looking for a bargain, just a car to check out, test drive, and get more information (and if we could save a little bit, that would be a bonus). I got connected with Conrad and Jeff. They are incredibly honest, and they really care about the customer experience. They were very straightforward with information about the car, pricing, availability, etc. In fact, they even mentioned the pros and cons of purchasing further away and would work with me to deliver the car if Rocklin was too far out of the way. We ended up finding a dealer much closer to home (my wife was more comfortable with this), but have no doubt, if this purchase doesn't work out, we've agreed to head straight to Rocklin. If you're in the market for an Audi and anywhere near Rocklin, do yourself a favor and check them out. They're also a new dealership hungry for your business in a what looks like a beautiful, new facility. We haven't even purchased a car from these guys, and I'm already blown away. Edwin was really professional, he had the cars to show me, he new all about the car, condition, safety ratings. When I was ready to buy the car, he wasn't pushy, and he took time and explained me all with details about the deal. At the end I was confused because I was treading two cars, and I asked to remove one car and no sale it to Audi. Even though, the paper was completed, Edwin and his team courteously re do the paper work again. Also, the dealership didn't try to sell hidden products or fees. Today was my second visit to Audi Rocklin. Sadly ,the second visit worse than the first. I was hopeful but sadly they cannot seem to pay attention to details. When you buy a luxury sedan you expect the service from the dealership to be top notch. The last time i was here, when i picked up my car it had ten miles over the test drive miles, when i inquired they had no explanation and they told me if they gave me a a full tank of gas and next time I came in would I not post a bad review so I agreed. Today I drop my car off and I had booked it in advance and requested a loaner when I got there they had no loaner and took me to Enterprise to pick up some other SUV that I could barely Drive. I was expecting to have something similar to my car because that's what a luxury car dealership usually provides. I wasn't happy with the loaner but I just decided to let it go and paid for the insurance and to fill it up with gas . I asked them to vacuum my car inside really well and the trunk. I asked when I got there did you vacuum everything really good, is it all filled up ? and they said yes everything's ready to go. After I left I got to a stoplight and lifted up my mat and it was completely filthy underneath. I just can't even believe it I'm going to post pictures so you can see. It just makes me wonder if they're not paying attention to these small details how well are they servicing my car? It's not like it's an inexpensive service. I would not recommend Audi Rocklin if you care about details and good service. They just don't seem to want to go the extra mile. read more

The way I was treated by Audi Rocklin absolutely disgusts me. Friendly staff but absolute theft. Took car in for steering noise and was given two diagnoses for the fix which we had done. They did not work and was told I needed new ignition coils from a misfire (guess who touched them last). I replaced/swapped the coil misfiring myself and found a faulty injector! Absolutely every diagnosis that they told me was incorrect and I was even able to find a TSB (technical service bulletin) myself from Audi posted in 2012 about my issue! read more

Maintenance for cars is not always the most liked subject, however it's one of those things it just has to be done in order to keep your car running nice and safe. I've come to this location for my Audi's maintenance more than one time and every time- I have experienced phenomenal service. I highly recommend this place! They have always taken great care of me and my family. As soon as you walk in you're greeted warmly and offered water. They communicate well and do not over charge. The biggest bonus is the rental car option. I have had work done a few times over 24 hour in labor- but this location assures no stress by offering a rental car while your car is being worked on. It's the best perk! I never need to worry about getting a ride or arranging for someone to drive me back. My last and biggest shout out goes to employee: LENNY, he is absolutely wonderful! I've worked with him many times and every time he expresses excellent customer service and I love working with him. The customer service was unmatched, and my Fiance and I never once felt like we were pressured into anything we didn't want to do. We were given advice and mentored throughout the entire process, in our first big purchase, never once feeling overwhelmed, taken advantage of, or unheard. Our salesman Bill Dameri was helpful through the entire process, he responded to my emails and texts, even before they officially were open. He went above and beyond for us, and made this a very positive experience. From our test drive all the way to driving home in our new Car (but first Inn in out burger), Bill provided Excellent service, and even insisted on providing further service after point of sale. We truly feel like valued costumers, and the idea of coming back for our yearly servicing is a positive feeling. Let me start by saying this is my second car from Audi. My experience with the service department has been subpar with both cars. You are assigned a 'service advisor' when you take your car in. The title sounds very important which would make you think you are important. However, being assigned to one person to take care of you and your car doesn't make any difference. You get the run around when trying to get information about the status of your car. My experience has been a total lack of focus with the customer. Very little communication leaving it up to the customer to call several times before getting any information. Audi Rocklin service department needs to do better in my opinion!! read more

I called, again being told my contact was not in for the day, but I could speak to another rep. My contact answered! Guess he wasn't out. I usually loathe car shopping, but had a smooth and -- dare I say it -- enjoyable experience at this Audi dealer thanks to Jarred Hopper, my sales consultant. The interaction started after I called to inquire about a couple of pre-owned vehicles I had seen on the web. Jarred was helpful and responsive answering my questions, he promptly followed up via text message with additional info, and was well prepared when I showed up for an appt to test-drive the vehicles (the vehicles were out front, and ready for me to jump into). After test-driving the vehicles I thought I was interested in, none had the exact combo of features and/or mileage I was interested in, so I decided to pass on them. However, Jarred really heard me and honed in on what options I needed, and which I really had no interest in paying for, and spontaneously made me an offer on a brand-new vehicle that ticked all the boxes, but wasn't loaded with options that I didn't really care about. In addition to giving me a screaming deal on the new car price, I was also *very* pleased with the generous trade-in offer on my old car. In addition to feeling like I was treated very fairly price-wise by Jarred, I was delighted that he followed up with me days later, to make sure I was happy with my new vehicle. Fun Review. My grandson is, at only 8 years old, a car freak whose favorite activity is to go look at new cars! My son-in-law taught him to be polite, respectful, and how to introduce himself. I was visiting so had never witnessed this before, when on a Sunday afternoon​ we went to this lot. I was impressed when he marched up to the salesman and explained he wanted to look around several $100K vehicles! More impressed when the salesman took the time to show him the models in the showroom, explained the differences, and then let an 8-year-old​ poke around by himself. Of course,​ I watch closely to make sure he was careful not to leave fingerprints or damage anything, but his "research" was quite through! This is to say that in my opinion, Audi Rocklin is friendly, not stuffy/callous​, or only looking for an immediate sale. It was a good experience all the way around. I want to update my review dated 4-30-2022 below that I can't seem to edit. Briana reached out to me yesterday and has been a tremendous help in navigating the Audi service department. Apparently, Saturday was a glitch as the service department was open but busy. The issue I believe is that there SHOULD be 1 central contact # for the service department which would have avoided my being transferred 3x to different voice mails to leave messages. The days and hours of the service department should be noted on the voice mail. Also, even on weekends a manager should be available when customers attempt to escalate an issue. This was NOT offered to me on Saturday. My husband did take our Q5 to the dealer yesterday Monday and left it for it to be looked at when the service department had time. Today, we learned that a hose is need and the hose has been ordered . Tonight , Brianna contacted me to give an update that our Q-5 should be ready Thursday. A disappointment was that no loaner was available but the dealer provided a lyft ride home for my husband . Again , having Brianna available to assist us was invaluable and a much needed resource. My previous review is below. So my 2018 Audi with just over 15, 000 miles has a check light come on that says there is a catalytic converter mal function and to drive slowly to the Audi dealer. I call Audi of Rocklin where I purchased my car and have it serviced and get transferred today Saturday 3x to people that aren't working today.Audi s are not cheap cars and now I can't drive my car I guess until Monday when I can talk to a service person.
