2025 A5

In public, I keep my guard up like a knight ready to joust. Clad in armor, a shield to deflect attacks, and my mouth as pointed as a broadsword to put Karens in their place. Have you ever been disarmed by a smile and a genuine greeting? That is what happened when Tara walked up to me while I was waiting for service. I had a healthy amount of anxiety bringing my A6 in for service due to a previous experience before management switched; that's understandably normal. I joked about my service experience and its lackluster consequence of not wanting to return. That's when it happened: "Why don't you just get me into a new Audi" I said haphazardly, joking, and threw down a gauntlet. Without skipping a beat, Tara accepted my invitation without a single hint of hesitation. During my time with him, his charm was only overshadowed by his genuine enthusiasm to make the experience satisfying. I drove away in a new Audi A5 when I had only wanted to service my A6. If I were the owner of this dealership, I would count my blessings to have Tara and his staff working diligently to make each contact with a customer a potential for a sale.

I was there in their service department to buy motor oil and oil filter to do my own oil change. I was paying and fortunately mngr over heard us, came out to tell me to take advantage of a oil change special on their website which ended up being a few dollars less than the cost of oil and filter. Great! Saved me the labor. They also got me an uber home so I didn't have to be waiting there there. Very friendly & helpful staff. Definitely coming back!

If you're thinking about getting an Audi, do yourself a favor and go to Audi West Covina. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt completely different from any other Audi dealership I've been to. It was so chill, no pretentious vibes, no judgmental looks, just genuinely down-to-earth people who made you feel comfortable right away. That alone made the whole experience stand out. I had the pleasure of working with Malik, and he was seriously top-tier. No pressure, no stressful haggling, just honest, smooth communication. He really listened to what we needed and worked with us to get exactly to the price point that made sense for us to move forward that same day. You can tell he actually cares about making the experience a good one, not just making a sale. On top of that, he brings such a positive energy, he genuinely gets you excited about buying your dream car. It didn't feel like a transaction, it felt like a celebration. Honestly, every single person I interacted with there was amazing. The whole team creates an environment that makes you want to come back. I'll definitely be recommending Audi West Covina to all my friends and family!

Eugene was the best sales consultant I've ever worked with. From initial contact, he was honest, transparent, and not once did he try to push or upsell anything. The process was smooth and stress-free and he went above and beyond to secure an incredible deal on a new 2026 Audi S5. If you are in the market for an Audi, please ask for Eugene!

I had my Porsche Boxster S for sale on auto trader for 52k. Jackson who works in the office offered me 48k and we agreed on 49,750. Lie number 1. Because we agreed on that price I took my car to sell it to them driving 30 minutes each way to get there. They kept me there 2 hours and came back to offer me 47,500. So right off the bat I was LIED to again. Then they offered me 48k and I left. I hate liars. So two hours later I get a call from the manager Klaus, saying the reason they changed the offer was because the transmission had a leak. Funny there's NEVER been a puddle under my car. Then they said the two back tires were different, big deal, they're expensive speed rated tires, a chip on the windshield (another LIE), and "many costly repairs" All total garbage to get the offer low. Jackson wouldn't even come out to talk to me. I was told that the repairs will cost too much to do so they're just going to sell it AS IS. What a crock of shite. This is classic bait and switch. I brought my car back the next day and sold it to them because I didn't want a hefty repair on the transmission which is very suspect. They low ball and lie. NO ONE came out to talk to me, not even Klaus. I'd call that UNPROFESSIONAL... BAD customer relations. I brought an important document of MINE for them to COPY not KEEP, instead Sammy kept it. I need that back by the way. Will I get it? Probably NOT. Fits in with the rest of my experience here. I would say, BUYER BEWARE. I read other reviews before going and they're very bad, (good thing I wasn't buying anything). I can see why. The best customer service there was their free soda. They have nice cars and a LOT of vultures, sales people, on the lot. When I got home I had a text asking me to remove my bad reviews. So I changed them with brevity in mind. I am waiting for the check to clear the bank. I don't trust LIARS. I would NEVER recommend this store to anyone because I was lied to. Look at the other reviews to see how they treat buyers and decide for yourself. I feel sorry for the person who buys the Porsche because they said they're not going to fix anything they had issues with. AS IS BUYER BEWARE. Shame on you STG for your shady business practices. I would NEVER buy a car from you. This is based on my experience and their bad reviews. I've owned a lot of cars in my long life and STG ranks up in my top 3 WORST auto dealers. My suggestions: better customer service and less time on your computer, dress professionally, don't walk around VAPING, stay with your customer during the transaction and don't lie to customers. I'll never return. Now they're selling my car as is with all the issues. BEWARE OF THESE CROOKS. IT DOESN'T HAVE A SECOND KEY

A4 taken care of.

Our family's Ford Explorer required a water pump replacement…read more I visited several local auto shops to obtain quotes and was shocked, disappointed, and discouraged at the prices I was being quoted for the work my vehicle required ($5,000-$7,500) Shame on me for not reading Yelp reviews before wasting my time visiting other auto shops. I read the many positive reviews for Hye-Tech Auto Repair and decided to visit them. Upon entering, I was greeted by John (owner) with a friendly, "Welcome, how may I help you?" I explained that my Ford Explorer needed a new water pump and a few other items that other auto shops had advised me would require repair or replacement. While John looked up a few items on the computer to provide me with a quote, he introduced me to his son, Harry, who happened to be in the office. Thirty seconds later, John provided a quote that was $3,500-$4,000 less than the other shops. I could not believe it. John explained that he makes his living and succeeds in his business through repeat customers, and he does not believe in gouging customers for every last penny. He also shared that when he retires, his son Harry will take over the business, and he wants to leave Harry with a solid foundation of loyal repeat customers. It was then that I knew I could trust John and his son Harry. John went on to explain that replacing the water pump on a Ford Explorer was a 10-12 hour job, as it was an internal pump requiring numerous engine parts to be removed to reach it. This was the same thing all the other shops advised me. John suggested that I leave my vehicle, and he would perform a full inspection of the engine and contact me before doing anything to it. I agreed and left my vehicle. The following day, I was contacted by John, who advised me that the water pump did indeed need to be replaced, as it was the source of the constant leaks of the water coolant. I left my vehicle in John's shop for three days. During this time, John or his son, Harry, contacted me numerous times to keep me updated on the progress of my vehicle and also to point out that mechanics had discovered two or three very inexpensive items (under $50.00) which they recommended replacing, which I agreed to have done. All in all, I was and am extremely impressed and satisfied with everything about this shop. I spent much less money to have five different issues repaired on my vehicle at Hye-Tech than what I was quoted to replace my water pump alone by every single shop I visited prior to coming to Hye-Tech. John and Harry are very friendly, honest, and trustworthy. They are also very knowledgeable and experienced, and they offer GREAT customer service and communication. This is my new go-to shop for any issues involving our family vehicles. Thank you, Hye-Tech Auto Repair, for a very positive experience.

I opened a Yelp project to try to get my transmission serviced. The dealership wanted to charge me…read more$1300 for this service. Yelp projects are one of the best things I've ever experienced. It's nice to see you can get quotes at the touch of a button on your phone. This morning, I had time off, so I headed in to get my service done. I did not have an appointment and that did not seem to matter. I arrived first thing in the morning at 8 AM and ask if the service could be done. Harry was an exceptional young man, he took me in with no problems, no questions. He said they could do it this morning. I told him I would have to wait. He had no problem with that either. Prior to bring in the car in this morning, as I said, I used a yelp project and had several people reach out and give me quotes. After looking at all the yelp reviews I decided to give this place a try. I am super happy that I did. This place is a hidden gem, excellence, service, quality, and value for what you receive. There are not very many shops where you could feel comfortable and put your trust in them. As I spent time in the lobby, I was able to see customer service on the phone and customer service entering the facility. Every customer that walked in, seem satisfied and was treated with dignity and respect. I highly recommend this place if you have any automotive questions whatsoever.

Brought my car in, went over some paperwork and was told I'd be contacted once the inspection was complete. Sure enough Matt called me to let me know there were some items found during inspection and which ones needed to be addressed right away. After agreeing to the updated quote they got to work. I came back to the shop prior to being told my car was ready, and I think there may have been a delay in getting parts needed (dropped the car off at 9am, wasn't done until 4pm). Other than that, the quoted price is what I paid, there wasn't any pushing to buy a service that wasn't needed. I will definitely be bringing my car back for the additional work needed.

I requested a quote through Yelp and my request was sent to multiple auto shops. I chose this…read morecompany based on location and called ahead to confirm they could do more than just read basic codes. I had already done my own diagnostics and knew the car was running rich. I had ruled out the upstream O2 sensor, catalytic converter (both new), MAP sensor, and fuel injectors. I explained all of this to Matt before bringing the car in. He assured me they could perform deeper diagnostics with their equipment. After dropping off the car, Matt called and told me they had "confirmed" exactly what I had already told them, and that the next step would be pulling spark plugs--for an additional fee. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere. What I don't understand is why I was still charged the full $85 diagnostic fee, plus a $4 hazardous materials fee and $3 shop supply fee. Plugging a car into a diagnostic scanner does not generate any hazardous waste--no fluids are drained, no chemicals are used, and no parts are replaced. There's nothing about a basic scan that would justify a hazardous materials charge. That kind of fee typically applies when disposing of things like oil, coolant, or other regulated waste, none of which occurred here. In the end, I paid $92, wasted time and gas, and learned nothing new. The most concerning part was Matt admitting he didn't even know spark plugs would need to be checked as part of further diagnosis.

If its a clunker, they will give new life to it. Who needs a new car and all those monthly payments! Let me explain. This is the third time I have taken my cars here. The first two times (read my earlier reviews), repairs were made, they threw in some extras (FOR FREE!!), and the cars run great! Also, the price was so much lower than others I thought they made a mistake. Nope, the price was correct and much less than others. This latest repair on 6/26/2026, was for my 2003 Honda Accord EX. The photo of the invoice will show all the repairs they made (water pump, timing belt, etc.) They also noticed other items and addressed, and did a free oil change! Crazy huh! When did you ever get anything free from a car repair shop, except a free headache when you get the bill! No headache from them. Excellent service. Terrific price. HONEST MECHANICS! Afterward, I confirmed with CHATGPT (artificial intelligence) what was done: price, repairs, etc. The answer was all good and verified they did everything they were supposed to do, along with a excellent price for the area.
