I'm leaving personal names of people out but they know who they are. Approximately 3.5 years ago, I purchased a vehicle from this dealership that was explicitly represented and sold to me as Certified Pre-Owned (CPO). I relied on that representation when making the purchase. Today, that same vehicle requires a full transmission replacement, and my warranty claim has been denied -- not because I'm ineligible, but because Covina Kia failed to properly register the vehicle as CPO with Kia and their warranty administrator. This is not a gray area. This is either a failure to execute required CPO procedures, or a misrepresentation of the vehicle at the time of sale. Either way, the result is the same: I paid for a CPO vehicle and did not receive the protections that were part of that purchase. How this dealership has "handled" this issue has been the icing on the cake and frankly appalling: - Weeks of repeated calls, often multiple per day, with little to no answer - When calls were answered, I was told the issue would be reviewed -- with zero follow-through - I ultimately had to drive over an hour to the dealership and spend 5+ hours onsite just to get someone to engage. [[HIGHLIGHT]]During that visit, I spoke with the General Sales Manager -- the only individual who made a genuine effort to help. He reviewed documentation, contacted Kia, and committed to resolving the issue. Shortly after, I was informed that he no longer works there, and since then, I have received no ownership, no continuity, and no resolution from anyone else at the dealership.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At this point, I am left with: A non-drivable vehicle, a denied warranty claim caused by dealership error, no meaningful support or accountability from the dealership that created the issue. Sarah Zhu signed off on this deal and later lied about giving us a Sales Contract. Mark Amri added to that by saying "We'll take care of it." After months of calls from KIA Finance, and two demand letters from our attorney to KIA, nothing has been done. 90% of all the deals here are Lease Contracts.
