We had a unique car situation with a lot of modifications we wanted to have done. I was treated with respect and they were very responsive. They listened to what we wanted to have done (oddly enough, most of the other places didn't!). And they did everything exactly the way we wanted. They finished faster than they said they would have it done and they were $900 less than other places we went to. (Probably because they actually listened to what we wanted!) They tried to problem solve and think through things instead of jumping to the easiest solution. We walked away feeling very confident that we were dealing with professionals and experts in their field. Customer service was excellent! We really enjoyed working with them and will be back if we have any other needs! We are very pleased with the work they did!

I brought in a highly-rated dashcam for installation, but they refused, offering only a $600…read moreoption. They assured me it had the blindside function I needed. The appointment was set for a week later and estimated to take 4 hours. We dropped the car off on Friday morning, and they called 4.5 hours later saying it was ready. When we arrived at 2 PM, it wasn't. The unit turned off with the ignition. After another 3-hour wait, they fixed it by correcting the fuse connection. However, the lens was installed upside down, showing the unit wasn't quality checked. By 4 PM, I took the car with the condition of testing it. An hour later, I called back--the rear camera's view was obstructed by defroster and antenna lines, and the side views only showed the cab. They agreed to move the rear camera outside, but this caused another problem: the gridlines during reverse were a foot off, making parking inaccurate. In the end, I was left with a unit that didn't cover blind spots or back up properly. The $600 dashcam wasn't suitable for my car and shouldn't have been recommended. It seemed they only offered this unit without considering its compatibility with my vehicle. I was told if I wanted those features, I needed to pay for the $1300 version. Their next appt. to remove the device was made 2 weeks out. At that time they refunded the mirror, but not the $400 labor. I cannot in good faith recommend their expertise regarding the products they sell, the labor quality or the salesman tactics of this establishment. Their level of professionalism only lies within their current structure - anything outside the box just "costs more".

Once the install was completed (in the time quoted) both the young woman managing the office and the young man who completed the installation walked me through setting up the connection with my iPhone, making sure I was ready to use it, before I checked out and paid (and the cost was at the lower end of what UNAVI lists as average for professional installation). Since then it has worked beautifully (I'm thrilled to have my music and maps set up in a hands free voice prompted system again). I Uber back to shop at 4pm, only to see my vehicle parked where I left it. I was told the reason my car was not worked is because the key was lost. I explained to person, I thought was a technician to learn now this the owner, the lost key is my only key. After waiting at least 30 minutes, the owner told me my key was located. This was a horrible experience!

This had nothing to do with the new screen so it would have been fair if the team at Auto Acoustics had said that they weren't experts in phones and recommended my parents go home and do some research and call if my mom couldn't solve it herself. Instead they continued working with my parents, doing some online research themselves, and patiently and politely making good suggestions and listening carefully (I was on the phone so I could hear the interaction) until they got everything working and they made sure my mom understood how to use the new setup. I am grateful for their help since I live in another state and can't be there in person to work with my parents. From the other reviews here these folks provide excellent customer service and that extends to working with older folks too.

I came to Radio-Active to fix a poorly-done previous attempt at upgrading the sound in my 2014 Corvette. You'll speak with the owner, Ash, first. He takes the time to listen to your objectives, talk about your budget, and understand your preferences. He'll offer suggestions and make sure you understand where you have price/performance options. We ended up special ordering a pair of mini-amplifiers and customizing a storage cubby in the trunk to create a "stealth" upgrade that didn't use up cargo space. During the installation, Ash called me to let me know about progress and to give me some further options after they had pulled off panels and seen some damage done by the previous installer. He emailed pictures so I could follow along. There was no "hard sell" attempt to urge additional purchases, but I decided to replace the damaged speakers as part of the project. They asked me to come in and sit in the car for final tuning by ear. I was able to get the frequencies fine-tuned to match my preferences and hearing response. I was impressed to see that they had applied protective film around all exterior panels where they might lean while working, and that they had the driver's seat well protected as well. When I was satisfied with the sound, they locked in the tuning on their computerized application and sent me on my way feeling well cared for, with a significant improvement in the sound and complete faith that the installation was done professionally and with attention to every detail.
