We wanted our flat screen mounted on a stone fireplace in our family room without visible cords and the backyard set up for sound as well. Mike told us how he would install the TV with surround sound inside and wifi outside. He gave us a written quote for materials and labor. We set a tentative installation date about a month out. Within 48 hrs of his visit Mike notified us of a rate hike going into effect on certain materials before our installation date and backlog on others. As everyone states Mike is great at his job. He recommended the Sonos system for our backyard and some excellent outdoor speakers. The sound is excellent and we have been enjoying the music for a few months now. Makes a world of difference compared to when we used one bluetooth speaker! Mike also installed our TV on the patio with the Sonos sound bar and two additional speakers. I wasn't sure if I wanted to add the expense of two more after already having four in the pool area. We are really glad we did. The sound is evenly dispersed over the entire area so we can enjoy the music everywhere without annoying our neighbors with it being too loud. Side note was he was very competitively priced especially compared to another local company. I am sure the others would have done a good job (they also have very good reviews) but what Mike recommended and installed is awesome and was about 40% less money than the competitive bid. read more

I thought at first that the hunt for my home audio installer was going to be quick. I went to a high-end AV store near my office in Newport Beach, scheduled a walk-thru and gave them my budget. The walk-thru went well, however, I never received my estimate till a week later than promised. Thus, within the time of waiting for my estimate, I called Mike @ Audio Visual Innovations. He answered my call and I told him briefly what I wanted. He quickly text me a picture of an almost identical proposal from a prior customer of his. The prices were VERY reasonable and he came by for a walk thru 2 days later. On the day of the install, per my request, he came over earlier than originally scheduled because of my work obligations. I assisted him with only taking down the TV and he did the rest. Mike installed a Yamaha receiver, universal remote, 5 ceiling speakers, wall rack, a subwoofer jack and a multi-input wall jack (I purchased myself).
