I looked into these guys because of the stellar Yelp Reviews. I was NOT disappointed. After calling around different car stereo places talking to cheesy sales guys with their own agendas and brands to push, Audiomobile was a breath of fresh air. Bao was the most down to earth guy and was very consultative with his approach. I took my car here to get subs, components, an amp, xm and bluetooth installed and they performed the task like champs. Bao even sent me pics of the installation process. All in all, I'm very pleased with their work. I had to take it back a couple times to fine tune stuff and the team charged me little to nothing for their time. The price is just about right for top tier installers. Like everyone else said, you get what you pay for. The only thing to note is that the 10% discount for Yelpers are for those that buy the gear there. I bought my gear elsewhere and had AudioMobile install everything. The discount wasn't applicable in my case. I'll be back in the next couple months to get some foglights installed in my ride. read more

I met with David who showed me all the models available and he was extremely knowledgeable. We covered my priorities and, even though I spent a little more than I had bargained for, the install took less than 45 minutes and he sat with me to go over syncing my bluetooth AND basic stereo operation. These guys are awesome! One of the automatic locks on my doors was malfunctioning, and they quickly got me in diagnose the problem and fixed it within a few hours. They are quick and efficient and very reasonably priced. The cherry on top of my experience was regarding my windshield. My windshield was broken and while I was waiting for my car to get repaired the man priced out a windshield for me at a local shop and schedule the next day appointment. I first went to these exceptionally talented guys with a need to replace the front and back light housings I purchased on Amazon for an older Camry. The staff was no nonsense about their enthusiasm to help as compared to 3 other shops that said stuff like they had to buy the housings at an inflated price or state "why are you calling a stereo and car electronics store for this?". Audiomobile got the job done the same day for a very fair price. The next job was much harder involving finding and resolving electronic problems in a vintage Jaguar. Even custom Jaguar shops did not want anything to do with this car and these guys gladly took on this onerous task. They totally solved the electric problems and some other glitches that could have contributed to the original problem. The original vintage radio completely failed and Audiomobile carefully replaced that radio and the disintegrating speakers with a system that virtually matches the Jag in every respect including the LED light coloration so the stereo seems virtually indistinguishable from the vintage one that was replaced. Once again, the price for the stereo and remote entry/alarm system was extremely fair. The work was done professionally and promptly. They are the best!!!!!! read more

This is the best car audio shop I've found anywhere. They know what they are doing, charge fair prices, and are easy to work with. I had a pretty simple problem (swapping to a newer version of adapter for a 12 year old car), and I was afraid taking it in to a shop would be a big deal -- I called and they scheduled me for the following afternoon, and finished the work in a few minutes. I was recently trying to find an mobile audio shop to remove my audio system since I wanted to revert back to a stock sound. Many other shops wanted to charge me hourly so I started to lag on any efforts to remove it. Since the audio system was hooked up poorly, the capacitor inside was always on; as a result, after 2 days my car would need to be jumped. Big ups to Bao, David and the whole team @ Audiomobile. Went a couple weeks ago after my 80 series Land Cruiser was stolen and they hooked it up with a security system with a starter kill switch. After the GREAT service, i went back and got my original stereo system removed and a new BT/Sirius XM stereo put in. They had my truck back to me in like 3 hours. Not only that, but Bao (also an 80 series Land Cruiser owner) gave me a tow hitch from his that he wasn't using anymore and even did 90% of putting it on my truck. FOR FREE. These guys are great. A couple days ago, I needed to get my cd player/deck installed. I was having trouble with the wiring, and found out I was missing the wire harness and install kit. There was one place I knew I could go to. Audiomobile. During lunch time, I drove in, a bit worried they were out on their lunch break. But no, they had a service team ready on call and did what needed to be done. I had my CD player installed in twenty minutes. This is what you call great service. The charge was standard and fair. They did a backup camera for me and were really fast. Camera is a commodity but service is not. They did extra stuff like fixing the previous work that wasn't clean, running wires properly that other folks didn't. Even replaced a lighter fuse for no charge and did some repairs that were above and beyond. Highly recommend these folks! read more

Do not go here. I'm warning you now. I went to get my stereo fixed here. I bought their top of the line speakers - and they still sound a little distorted. I had a 1 inch crack in my dashboard prior to installation, which they pointed out prior to install. When I picked the car up, my dashboard was broken into 3 pieces!!! Then, they tried to glue it together with some type of super glue. It looks like total crap. The glue was dripping - and it permanently dried that way. I asked them to fix it. They said no - because my dashboard was too "fragile" - it was my fault. They gave me a $60 discount instead. I said I wanted them to fix what they broke. $60 was not going to cover the cost to fix their mistake. They told me to go buy the part and they would install it for free. I said you want me to go and buy a part to fix your mistake? They said yes. I then said that was not fair. They offered to find the part and pay for 1/2 of the cost. So, the final offer was I would have to pay an extra $150 to fix a mistake THEY made. Bottom line, I got a stereo install which doesn't sound great, they broke my dashboard into three pieces, and now the resale value of my car is going down because the super glue dashboard repair job looks like a 2nd grade art project. I've been having issues for a year in my 2009 Civic - Horn randomly going off, doors and alarm going off sporadically. Called Audiomobile and Dave took my car in 45 minutes later. He removed my old after market alarm and got my Honda back to factory state with the ignition wiring. He also recommended some other fixes that were helpful. Customer service from Dave was very good and I really appreciate the work he did. My car starts and locks normal once again after battling this issue for over a year. read more

Note to self and everyone else, don't leave your faceplate in your car, even if its well hidden under the seat and your car is parked right outside your front door. About 3:30 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon, I realized I had some spare time and decided to replace my car's original AM/FM tape deck which had died weeks earlier. i immediately got on Yelp! and found Audiomobile who has very high ratings and a significant number of reviews. I arrived at the shop at 3:45 p.m. without calling in advance. I was met by Bao Le, the Installation Manager. Because my car is 12 years old with 190,000 miles on it, I explained that I wanted a basic (inexpensive) AM/FM radio and the capability to run my iPod through the system. At a price less than I expected to pay, I drove away 45 minutes later with a nice Pioneer AM/FM unit with plug in for my iPod and a CD/MP3 slot. Better and faster service than I anticipated even with the great ratings I had read, and a better unit that I expected for my budget.. These guys don't need my 5 stars, or my review. However, my experience was good enough that I'm doing it anyway. I recently bought a used Tacoma. I've been wanting one since about 1995 when they were first introduced, so needless to say I'm very excited about my purchase. With my truck I received a single key and no remotes, though there was an aftermarket alarm installed. I called Audiomobile and they told me to swing by so they could check it out. After a quick look, Bao informed me that the installed alarm (some older Python unit) was fine aside from one necessary wire, and he could get it going and provide me with a new remote for $120. Now, he could have told me the alarm was shit and I needed a new one. I would have believed him and paid for it. But instead he was honest, and now he has another repeat customer. I also had a new audio head unit installed complete with Bluetooth streaming and USB/iPod. They did a great job, but they were also super fast with it. I'll definitely be going back to get some vibrational sounds dampened and maybe even add a subwoofer. read more

I wanted my iphone to play through my car stereo, and I didn't care how that happened, I just knew it had to be a direct connection, having experienced the terribleness of FM transmitters in this area. David explained the two most common options: either run a connection up under the dashboard or replace the stereo with one that has a USB port on the front. since they were both about the same price ($250-300), I opted for the new stereo. He showed me their three options, and didn't try to sell up once I told him my price range. I picked one, and by the time I had walked to Starbucks and back (25 minutes max), my car was ready. The new stereo is GREAT - connects to the iphone with a simple USB port (and charges it), and you can control it via the iphone or via the stereo itself. you can also take off the front cover so it's not a smash-and-grab magnet. Plus it comes with a remote (not sure why you'd need a remote in a car, but hey). 1 year warranty on parts and labor. I highly recommend both the equipment and the shop. read more
