Updated review based on my most recent visit. Let's be honest here, it's great to have a cozy local restaurant in the shopping center where they are located. The owners/people working here are very nice, and it's a welcoming environment. As they have done from day one they offer a small selection of Thai food as well fish and chips and some soups and appetizers. I generally get a Thai dish, on my most recent visit I got chicken bowl with ginger. It's has a nice flavor, ginger is good, but it would have been better with a little more sauce since the rice absorbed so much. For an appetizer we tried the tempura and a bowl of wonton soup. The appetizer included a few good size shrimp and big chunks of vegetables. The coating definitely was not a light tempura breading, it seems like it was the breading that they probably use for their fish. But it was fine for me, nice amount of salt. The tempura order is actually a good bit of food. The soup was really very nice, three dumplings/wontons included, and the broth had a really good flavor. read more

Nice spot, very convenient since my son goes to the martial arts place right next door. The shrimp and chips were good. Really big shrimp. Tried to give this spot another chance. Owner lady is not polite and she touched the trash (no gloves on) and continues on with food handling as if her hands were not dirty!!! That was my final visit and DID NOT order anything. I was going to order Thai rice and add basil she told me "no substitute or add on to the Thai rice because basil is expensive " Thai rice once made me sick think the tomatoes were old. Soup was not good. They sell fish but it's a batter dip situation how it's prepared not a good fish fry. They do give you a decent amount of fries. The older man has better customer service skills. Ambience - it's ok they just threw some thrift store furniture in there its no theme or nothing fancy. Food - eat at your own safety ( hit or miss) Menu is confusing are we a Thai restaurant or fish restaurant based on the name you'd think fish. Crazy branding!!! I ordered a To-go of Catfish and fries. The restaurant was nice and spacious with good seating, and well separated from others. The wait was short and the staff member was very friendly. Napkins and fork were included, as well as being available directly at the register. The food was ready when I arrived and was still piping hot when I arrived home. The packaging is good - a wax-cardboard box and plastic bag. The fish was very tender, flavorful, and soft. The breading was nice and crunchy, with a great seasoning flavor with it. The seasoning complemented the fish well. Came with 2 lemon wedges. The fish was great. The fries were nice and lightly seasoned. I think it speaks for itself when you can still taste the freshness of the potatoes after biting into them, and these had that lovely flavor! read more

An awesome hidden gem on the outskirts of Manassas. Fried Fish and Thai food was not a combo I ever would have imagined, but they're doing both of them extremely well. The inside has table seating as well as a cute little lounge area - good for enjoying the milk tea. We ordered takeout, and when we got there I also ordered a milk tea. The nice old man running the register made it in less than a minute! If you are ordering any of the fried food, I recommend eating it there. It lost a bit of its crispiness by the time we got home. Still delicious! The portions are very large, which is a rarity for Thai restaurants. Pad See Ew was very rich in flavor and they were NOT skimpy with the chicken or vegetables either. Kapow chicken had a bit of a spicy kick but was tame for Thai standards. Audrey's is a bit of a hike for me, but we will definitely be back again! read more

I am a regular at Audrey's Fish & Chips as I've dined at this family owned establishment countless times since they opened in 2024. The cuisine is a combo of authentic Thai food (noodles, curry, etc) & fried foods (fish, french fries, hush puppies, okra). The restaurant is decorated with art from local artists, filled with an array of seating (booths, tables, lounge & hightop) in varying styles and conveniently located in the Woodbine Shopping Center. I typically dine here alone but it's great for family meals & friend gatherings. For my most recent visit, I had my entire family in tow. We sat at a large circle table towards the back of the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! The servers were attentive and all of the staff was (& consistently is) very welcoming & friendly! My go-to menu items are the Pad See Ew & Thai tea with boba. For this visit we also ordered the Fish & Chips, Okra, Hush puppies, Egg Rolls & a side of Fries. It all was delectable -- my young children are picky eaters & gobbled it up. Everything is made to order so when the restaurant is full, food wait times can be long. If you're in a rush, I recommend calling ahead to order for pickup. Ordered pick up from Audrey's and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is perfect for a sit down dinner and convenient enough for take out. The inside is very spacious with large tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. Takeout is super easy with kiosks where you can order. Next time we will call ahead because it did take a while. The food is super fresh which makes it well worth the wait. I got pad Thai - great flavor! The noodles had the perfect chew! The place has an eclectic place of siting for eating and waiting for your food. TV, which had on World Cup, was over the fire place in the sitting area. Food is made to order, so it's fresh. We were greeted as we came in and service was done with a smile. There is a kiosk to use or order in person. The menu is not big but enough different options within seafood and Thai options. I visited based on the positive reviews. The place was nice and I ordered the cod and chips for 20.00. The fish was good but only included a piece about four inches long and three inches wide. One piece of fish and a small serving of fries was not a value to me. The okra and hushpuppies (Savanah classics. sweet corn) were good. When entering the restaurant, I didn't see the ordering station, and walked up to the counter. No hostess or waiters in this place, and we were ignored for several minutes. We order the fried cod and fried whiting, both came with fries but she allowed me to sub for hush puppies instead. It's only one piece of fish...thickly coated batter. We are used to the southern style where the coating is light. So I think it's all about preference...to us this was over battered and a bit greasy. It didn't taste bad, just not something we would order again. The hush puppies were delicious though...I can see corn kernels in each bite! We also order the drunken noodles with beef at Thai spicy level. We eat every extra spicy but just be warned that Thai spicy is a level beyond lol. We ordered 3 Fish & Chips (Whiting, Catfish, and Cod). They all were fantastic! They were crispy, not oily. The fish was sweet and hearty. The fries were flavorful and crispy. It was served with a fresh lemon wedge and tartar sauce. Hot sauce available upon request. They even have malt vinegar! We enjoyed our food and will absolutely be ordering again. Small local fried seafood/thai joint that gets the job done. I'm not holding it to a fancy standard but for what it is, compared to most local eateries, it is above average. Food: 4/5. In terms of seafood, I've had the calamari and the peacemaker po boy. The calamari has a nice light batter and was cooked pretty tenderly. The peacemaker had 4 pieces of fried shrimp, but they were huge which made the sandwich a bit difficult to eat, but still tasty overall. In terms of thai, I've ordered the panang curry, beef drunken noodles, and chicken pad thai, all of which were pretty normal dishes done fairly well. The noodles were a little more sauce heavy making the dish more flavorful which I personally like when it comes to thai. Service 5/5. Service is excellent. The people there are very friendly and nice. Ambiance: Ambiance is interesting to me. The furniture makes it feel less of a sit down restaurant and more of a casual spot to chill and hang out. Since this shop is pretty quiet and serves bubble tea, it might not be too bad of a spot to study, kind of like a starbucks. Final thoughts: Overall this is probably going to be my go to spot for conveinient thai takeout. I 100% would recommend giving this place a try especially if you are a local looking of a different option around the area. A brand new restaurant located in the Woodbine Shopping Center at Hoadly Road and 234. Much needed at this location since the closing of Burger Boys and the Chinese restaurant next door. I frequent this shopping center alot so was excited to see something new. So this is a fish&chips & Thai bowl fusion spot. I thought, "Cool! This would bring some interesting variety to the neighborhood..." I'm sorry to say however that the quantity and quality of food does not match the price we paid. My son and I had fish&chips (cod), a lobster roll, hush puppies and a bowl of mac & cheese with two drinks - with tip came to around seventy bucks ($70). The lobster roll was about half the size you would expect from a legit sandwich. The fried fish had too much breading and puffed up with air. The mac & cheese wasn't very cheesey (bland). The best item was actually the hush puppies! So there's that. Had to ask for salt for our fries and macaroni since there was nothing ...so the cook scrounged up some from the kitchen and gave it to us in a sauce cup. The ambiance was thrown together haphazard like - the interior is too roomy for the scarce furniture they had. The bathrooms were very basic, dark green flat paint on the walls - paper towel dispenser was empty. Hoped for something better. I understand the owners are probably new to the industry and im sure this is growing pains. Let's hope they get it together soon. read more

The serving size is large and the fish and fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. While fried, they weren't greasy. We got a side order of hush puppies... I ordered the shrimp po' boy with Cajun sauce. The shrimp, cooked in a tempura batter, was very good but they were jumbo size which was too big for the sandwich imo and still had the tails on them. It didn't really work as a sandwich so I ate the shrimp alone, dipping into the Cajun sauce. Had I known that the shrimp were that big and had the tails on them I would have just ordered a plate of shrimp and chips and saved about $2. I took the hoagie roll home and might make a sandwich with that later. The po' boy order came with fries and they were good but I had ordered fried okra (love it) and with that I didn't want/need the fries. Suggestion for them: supply table salt and malt vinegar for the French fries and fried fish. My husband had the Pad Thai and said it was very good but could have been spicier. The layout was a little different, variety of seating layout. We were there at an unusual time (too late for lunch/too early for dinner) so it wasn't crowded or noisy. Restaurant appeared clean and looks like a new place (which it probably is). I recommend it. There is a discount for not paying by credit card. Sodas are by the can and nearly $2 each. read more
