This place is a little different, but it was good. The burger was tasty! My family had breakfast... everyone was happy. If you are looking for fancy, this isn't your place... but the food is good, reasonably prices, and the bathrooms are clean. This was the worst breakfast I can remember in Decades! I ordered the "Nana Breakfast" with soft scrambled eggs, grits and toast along with extra crispy bacon. The eggs were extremely overcooked and the grits had lumps throughout and were cold. The bacon was passable but not as ordered. Our bill was over $30 (2 people). Never again! Total ripoff. read more

My husband and I stayed at a hotel nearby and woke up with the mindset of eating at the hotel but sadly the hot breakfast was just waffles. So we took off into town searching for breakfast and stumbled upon this tiny gem! The staff made us feel like family and kept our coffee topped off. We order a big breakfast and each bite was splendid and yummy! To our surprise, for as much as we got the price was amazing! This place is awful, we stopped for breakfast my grandson ordered the mama's breakfast which was eggs, meat and toast. He ordered his eggs scrambled they brought out over medium he sent them back, they returned with the same eggs fried hard with crust. I had eggs and hashbrowns both were burnt. They served an old opened half empty bottle of jelly with a spoon, gross. They left gallon jug of milk out on a table while the cook and server ate while they ignored the customers. read more

It was a cute antiquie cafe at the end of the Antique 'Mall'. A breakfast/lunch diner with four breakfast selection but be sure how you order the items. I ended up with a $20 bill for 2 eggs sausage and toast with 1 sweet cream pancake. If I understood I was ordering 'two' separate breakfasts and only got 1/2 of the second one I would have ordered differently for sure. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Right on Hwy 61. We enjoyed an EXCELLENT breakfast (eggs, omelet, great sausage & gluten-free pancakes - mine were blueberry!!) We were absolutely thrilled with this local gem! We have always heard great things, but now we know for certain!! This will not be our last visit! Had to recommend as soon as we got in our vehicle!! Atmosphere is welcoming, clean and cozy!! I have so many favs at Audubon I couldn't begin to tell you which one is the best... The hamburger! DELICIOUS! It's actually real beef. They make the patties themselves & cook it to your desire. Slap in some cheese & bacon with the fixin's & put on the sourdough bun... It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Breakfast!! OMGOSH!! Perfect. If you see something on the menu & you wanna tweak it a lil, ask real sweet & if they aren't packed like usual, they might help your pallette out! The previous reviews are very unfortunate. I've never received bad service. Yes, I've gotten something different than what I actually ordered & I simply told the waiter/waitress & problem was solved. Yes, I had to wait a lil bit for my order to be fixed but well worth it. What the others didn't mention was that Audubon Cafe' is small & always packed. So yeah, there's going to be a couple screw ups, but they'll bend over backwards to fix it. read more

I stopped in this place on my way from Baton Rouge to the Angola Prison Rodeo last Sunday. We were going to have breakfast at Eight Sisters in St. Francisville based on their excellent reviews, but were disappointed to find them closed until noon. So, we headed back to the highway and saw Audubon's Cafe The waitress recommended the egg and ham omelet pancake. Since I'd never heard of anything like it, I ordered it. And as it turned out, it was actually ham, cheese, egg, and pancake batter mixed together and poured on the griddle. It was very good, and of course, unique. The waitress was extremely friendly too. If you're passing through St. Francisville and need breakfast, I recommend this place. read more

Excellent friendly service and great food. We come occasionally for lunch but I didn't know until today they are open Sundays.

Really just average. Maybe expectations were too high but the lunch food was just not that good.

Apparently lunch service is not important to owner. Stopped in at 12:15pm on Saturday afternoon for a quick bite but found place closed. It apparently closed at noon even though it is expected to be open till 2pm on Saturday. Inquired at business next door Snd was told that this establishment does not operate standard hours. read more

This is the best place to stop in for breakfast. My favorite things are the sweet potato pancakes and the biscuits covered in gravy. I get those two every time I go. My son hates sweet potato's, but every time we go he gets those delicious pancakes. The staff is friendly and the prices are good. read more

Stopped in this little cafe for breakfast. I had blueberry pancakes and sausage and my husband had a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich! The food was fantastic! Very filling! The staff was friendly and when we mentioned we were from out of town our waitress grabbed a map and began to tell us about the area! This is the type of place we look for when we travel! We will be coming back! Just a side note they close at 11am on Saturday's and are closed on Wednesday! read more
