    The text from the son
    Tricia D.

Terrible customer service bought a 2021 Kia and in the seams of the driver seat is ripping will not replace it because they said I did not spend enough money there because I get my oil changes in the town I live in which is two hours away them what kind of customer service is that.. not only that the sun said that they would guarantee it for one year and then they change their mind. Unbelievable. My new I bought this car brand new.

Has this car really been washed?

After my last review, the manager kindly called me to apologize. He also gave me three free oil changes. And the service agents have been a lot less pushy since. But yesterday, I again had a bad experience, on my third free oil change. At their recommendation, I got my AC serviced. Now my car smells like it has an air freshener in it, which is bad because of respiratory issues in my family. I called them today, and they said it'll take 1-2 weeks to go away. Just in time for our road trip. Ugh. And, adding insult to injury, they estimated one hour, and I was there for 2.5. And they still didn't wash my car, even though I asked for the car wash.

Not only do I highly recommend Bob Corey, but I highly recommend getting the gap coverage they offer too.

Ruth Harker Local Guide·30 reviews·2 photos…read moreEdited a day ago We went to this dealership to buy a used car for our son, today is his 16th. At 1:00 in the afternoon we chose a car and were going to pay cash. They said it would be 30 minutes to go through the paperwork to finish this deal. 4:15 pm still waiting (this cost us literally $1000. based on our hourly rates and they wanted us to just...come back...it's our son's birthday 40 minutes one way...ah no) The Manager Cory Reno was rude and combative. I said if I ran my business like them I wouldn't have a business...his response "oh we are far from that" not "yeah I am so sorry". Our sales person went into hiding. The only person that made an effort was a gentleman named John Hollenkamp who offered to bring the car and paperwork to our house. Thanks for ruining the surprise Auffenberg but thank you John Hollenkamp, you understand service he is why there is a single star. Don't buy a car here unless you can spend a day waiting to pay cash. Part 2 We reached out to them 3 times for paperwork on service history they promised to copy and deliver..no response. We went to get the car inspected and it failed due to fuel pump 1700. They told us we were getting gaslighted by the folks who have serviced our cars for years who also provided the diagnostic testing (which cost me 200). They recommend we get a second opinion (another 200) or that with full trust we bring it back to them, where they would also charged me a diagnostic fee (probably another 200) and then charge us likely 1600-1700 for the repair. This by far has been the worst customer experience of my life. These people understand exactly what they are doing...I literally felt like I was talking to Danny Divito in Matilda. The gentleman I spoke to John Hollenkamp said hey if you got it inspected within the first 7 days it would have passed . Like what? They didn't give us a second set of keys which we also called multiple times about without a response. a 16 year old with one key and a push button start...we didn't want him to drive it until we had a second set. This dealership if full of non action in everyday possible. Run the other way any place but Auffenberg. Just think Matilda

They told me it would be over $100 for them to look; but then they lifted my car and looked at and video recorded the underside being careful not to video the oil leak area. Then they fraudulently tried to claim my transmission pan was leaking when I could clearly see the oil leaked down from a higher spot on the motor and some of it got on the transmission pan. They also claimed my transmission fluid was dirty and needed to be changed not knowing I had it changed less than a week earlier.

In the search for the "Perfect" car I ended up exchanging calls, emails, and texts with nearly 20 dealerships from Florida to Colorado. I feel very fortunate that my search landed me with not just a return call, text, or email... but a return VIDEO directly from Randy with a walk around of the exact Expedition we were looking for and a demo of some of its cool features as well as his contact information to follow up with. Well, not only did Randy have the exact car we wanted at the best price I found after getting many dealer offers... they got me 0% financing and he delivered the car to me on a Sunday with a smile!!! The entire sales process with Randy and Auffenberg Ford was fantastic. If you are the kind of person that usually gets anxiety from the whole car buying experience, do yourself a huge favor and give Randy at Auffenberg a car. He's the guy that you would feel confident to send your mom to if she needed a car. Thank you Randy and team for everything and I may have to give you a call about a Bronco next year. ;)

Then pushed us to use their financing, even though we had our own financing, and told us they would match our current APR rate. Okay, cool, let's do that, since we drove 2 hours one way, and didn't want to do the drive the following day. THEN the finance guy came over and immediately discredited the current warranty and started trying to sell the extra warranty. We made it clear we were not interested in any addons, period. Then we went to his finance office, and he immediately tried to sell us their extra warranty. I kid you not, we told this guy no at least 10 times, he then left to go call someone, and then came back, and his whole demeanor changed, and he was clearly annoyed he didn't get that sale. Then, after he is just handing papers to my husband, without going over it at all, I see that the interest rate is .15% HIGHER than what we agreed to. When I brought it up, the finance officer acted like he wasn't told that, and acted like it wasn't really a big deal. THEN he conveniently forgot to put the sales tax in the note, and we had to redo the paperwork. As we were leaving, the sales guy handed us the second key, which was all taped up with electrical tape. Then today I noticed the seatbelts are twisted (silly thing, but it's super annoying they didn't fix it.) There are two stains on the roof on the inside. Overall, we do like the car, but if we could take it back, we would, on the principle of the experience, after we slept and reflected on it, but their policy is only 150 miles/7 days, and that's literally our drive home. Because how are you not going to be willing to work on the price, but want us to buy your extra stuff? How are you going to push financing under false pretenses? And yes, I recognized we could have walked away at that point, and honestly, we regret not, but we drove 2 hours, it was 8 at night, and we were tired.
