90-day old air filters from my 2019 (Certified Pre-Owned) Nissan Rogue SL purchased from Auffenberg Nissan on 1 April 2022. They were filthy
    Allen G.

I purchased a 2019 Nissan Rogue SL - Certified Pre-Owned SUV on 1 April 2022. Customer No: 1580971, Deal No: 715780. As a CPO vehicle it was supposedly fully serviced and had undergone a bumper-to-bumper inspection as well. On 20 June 2022 - I had my serviced just 90 days after its purchase from Auffenderg Nissan and the service technicians at Orr Nissan in Wichita, Kansas changed the oil & completed a tire rotation service. They checked and both the engine and cabin filters had not been changed for 'years' they were filthy with dust and insects! Certainly not changed by Auffenberg NIssan as part of the CPO process that supposedly conducted on my SUV just three months earlier. See the photos of the dirty filters below. I reached out to the finnace manager Jacques Hughes via email outlining my situation and left multiple messages for the sales department and NEVER recieved any response. The bill for my fliter changes was about $100 dollars and want to be reimbursed for the costs, as Auffenberg DID NOT CHANGE the filters as part of the CPO inspection, when they should have been changed prior to my purchase as part of the CPO inspection and service process. I cannot recommend purchasing or having your vehicle serviced at this dealership, after reading several of the reviews. Their terrible reputation is due to poor customer service and shody business practices.

The advertised price $31,999 which was Not their starting point on arrival.

The day after my unpleasant experience I was contacted by a different associate via text, who expeditiously coordinated a different sales associate to contact me. In short order we landed the plane over the phone with plans for us to return to the shop the following day to complete the transaction. On our second arrival the trade-in and purchase process went pretty quickly and smoothly. I'd have rather knocked the deal out on my first trip there, but, presuming the car won't be a lemon and that they make good on the included warranty for any arising issues... overall I am a satisfied customer.

    Rear bumper damage

Damage caused by Auffenberg Nissan technician! I DO NOT recommend Auffenberg Nissan service!! I took my Infiniti in for brake service on all four wheels. While servicing, the technician managed to crash into the building and damage both the rear bumper and the front bumper (see pics). Not sure how that much damage can be done while attempting to back out of a service bay. It took over three weeks to get the bumpers replaced and repainted. I had to request status on the progress since communication was almost non-existent. For the inconvenience, they only took $100 off the bill which is UNDER 10%! I will never do business with them and do not recommend. Avoid their service and repair department!

The agreement was I would pay the MSRP that was listed but I did not want to get beat up on the trade-in price. I have never been comfortable with the back and forth negotiating tactics used by dealerships and he agreed and said he would meet me there at 9:00 a.m. at 8:47 a.m. I get a text from the dealership saying my appointment was changed to 11:00 a.m. with a salesperson named Kathleen. She was nice enough but I could not get her to give me the numbers. She was more interested in just getting all of my information into the computer. She did drive my car around and put it through some scanner. She comes out with a credit report for me to sign and I tell her I don't want to sign anything till we get the numbers under control. Finally a time after that a gentleman that says he's from finance comes out with a ridiculous offer of 13,000 on a 2-year-old Kia seltos. I tell him that's a ridiculous offer that I was looking more for around 18,000. He goes back and comes back once again with an offer of around 15,000. Now I'm annoyed. I kept my part of the bargain and now just the second offer shows he low balled me at a minimum $2,000. Says my offer of 18,000 is retail. But if you Google my make and model for that year you won't see one for less than $21,500 at any dealership. It's obvious they lied to get me in the door. If you like long drawn out negotiations where you get low balled and then have to go back and forth this is the dealership for you. For anybody who wants honest negotiations I would go elsewhere.

I feel very fortunate that my search landed me with not just a return call, text, or email... but a return VIDEO directly from Randy with a walk around of the exact Expedition we were looking for and a demo of some of its cool features as well as his contact information to follow up with. Well, not only did Randy have the exact car we wanted at the best price I found after getting many dealer offers... they got me 0% financing and he delivered the car to me on a Sunday with a smile!!! The entire sales process with Randy and Auffenberg Ford was fantastic. If you are the kind of person that usually gets anxiety from the whole car buying experience, do yourself a huge favor and give Randy at Auffenberg a car. However, we recently saw an excellent deal on a 2021 Nissan Rogue for our daughter and decided to move forward. We selected the vehicle, met with the finance representative, and completed all necessary paperwork, which we then submitted to our credit union for processing. When the Blue Book value came back lower than the price Auffenberg was requesting, we informed them immediately. Despite this, we were fully prepared to put down an additional payment to cover the difference our credit union would not finance. After nearly ten days of back-and-forth and resolving all concerns, we finally had the check in hand and were ready to complete the purchase. At that point, we were told that another customer was on the lot looking at the very vehicle we had already completed paperwork for, secured financing for, and were prepared to finalize. Shortly after, we learned the car had been sold to that individual. This was incredibly disappointing, unprofessional, and left a very poor impression. Our daughter needed reliable transportation for her internship, and after searching for more than a month, this vehicle was the perfect match, both in features and in price. To have it sold out from under us after we had done everything required was extremely frustrating and disheartening.

Disappointed Two-Time Buyer - Radio Silent Until Threatened with a Return…read more I am a returning customer who previously had a great experience with Auffenberg, but their post-sale communication has completely deteriorated. I recently purchased a used 2015 Toyota Highlander. Within my contractually guaranteed 7-day return window, an independent multi-point inspection revealed a failing alternator, a bad battery an alignment issue. I contacted my sales consultant, Joshua, immediately to see if management would utilize their internal service department to address these electrical components to save the transaction. The dealership completely ignored my messages for days, hoping the clock would run out on my 7-day return policy. Only after I explicitly stated I was preparing to return the vehicle did I finally get a response. The used car manager's solution? They completely ignored the failing alternator and alignment issues, and offered the "goodwill gesture" of selling me a replacement battery at their cost. Shifting the financial burden onto a loyal repeat customer for a failing charging system during a trial window is an insulting way to do business. I declined their offer, kept the vehicle because the core engine is solid, and will be paying my local mechanic to fix it. They have officially lost a loyal customer's future business.

Auffenberg refused to honor the price we paid November 2024 for the exact same vehicle, 1 year 2 months later. Mind you, this would be the 3 vehicles previously purchased from them, and zero care or consideration given. Not to mention, Steve- working at Kia, is the most unprofessional and rude sales person there. I would recommend working with someone else entirely if you even attempt car shopping. He doesn't air out after chain smoking outside, and he will call you stupid if he doesn't understand what you're talking about. He is not professional, and I would be embarrassed to have Steve work for any business of mine. Just because he can sell you a car doesn't mean it's worth the reputation Auffenberg is creating with people like Steve. With that all said, three separate and equally awful experiences with Auffenberg in 2023, 2024, and again January 2026. We learned our lesson - do not buy there or you'll be met with predatory practices. We were literally discouraged to leave a review unless it was good because it only directly affects the sales people who worked with us. Steve needs to be fired, and Auffenberg should really have better business practices. I hope our next brand new car purchasing experience is better than what Auffenberg failed to provide on three separate occasions. Our community deserves better!

Went and test drove it (nobody has a new one to even test drive), and liked it. Went back first thing on Saturday morning to buy. They offered a below sticker price and a high KBB trade in value for my trade in. Considering everyone else was selling inbound cars sight unseen or adding you to the waitlist for a Rav 4, I was pretty happy. Loving the plug in hybrid Rav 4 so far. My only complaint would be that Cody's (finance guy) demeanor immediately went cold the second that we wouldn't buy any of the extended warranties. Always the same story at every car dealer. After diagnosing the vehicle, Jim informed him that the key fob's chip was no longer communicating with the truck's computer and that the key would need to be reprogrammed. He quoted my son approximately $650 for the repair, including fees and taxes. Concerned about the cost, we contacted CarMax, where the vehicle was purchased. They referred us to Metro Lock & Security, who stated they could perform the reprogramming for approximately $50 if we could get the truck to their location. I called Jim directly to verify the diagnosis. He again stated that the chip needed to be reprogrammed. However, once I mentioned that a locksmith had quoted a significantly lower price, his demeanor changed noticeably. From that point forward, I found his communication unprofessional, and my calls were repeatedly dismissed. We arranged for Angelo's Towing to transport the truck to Metro Lock & Security. During this process, I repeatedly attempted to pay the diagnostic fee before the tow occurred to avoid any issues. Unfortunately, I was met with delays and runaround responses. Angelo's Towing was so accommodating that they even offered to pay the diagnostic fee on my behalf and add it to my towing bill because I was coordinating everything remotely from Texas while my son was out of state performing military funeral honors in Indiana. In contrast, Angelo's Towing and Metro Lock & Security were professional, courteous, and helpful throughout the process. Unfortunately, my interactions with Jim and Megan were often rude and condescending. Once Metro Lock & Security received the truck, they quickly discovered that there was no chip inside the key fob at all. They explained that this was the reason the truck would not start. When they spoke with my son, he recalled changing the battery earlier that day and realized the chip may have accidentally fallen out. This raises an obvious question: if the chip was completely missing, how was the original diagnosis that the chip simply needed to be reprogrammed? Metro Lock & Security replaced the missing chip, programmed it successfully, and even provided my son with a military discount. The total cost was only $66, compared to the approximately $650 quote we received from Jim. I was originally quoted a diagnostic fee of $108.80, but when I was contacted for payment, the total had increased to $119.67. When I questioned the difference, I was simply told that the additional amount was for "shop fees." Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. We are extremely grateful to Angelo's Towing and Metro Lock & Security for their honesty, professionalism, and willingness to help a young servicemember when he needed it.

Then pushed us to use their financing, even though we had our own financing, and told us they would match our current APR rate. Okay, cool, let's do that, since we drove 2 hours one way, and didn't want to do the drive the following day. THEN the finance guy came over and immediately discredited the current warranty and started trying to sell the extra warranty. We made it clear we were not interested in any addons, period. Then we went to his finance office, and he immediately tried to sell us their extra warranty. I kid you not, we told this guy no at least 10 times, he then left to go call someone, and then came back, and his whole demeanor changed, and he was clearly annoyed he didn't get that sale. Then, after he is just handing papers to my husband, without going over it at all, I see that the interest rate is .15% HIGHER than what we agreed to. When I brought it up, the finance officer acted like he wasn't told that, and acted like it wasn't really a big deal. THEN he conveniently forgot to put the sales tax in the note, and we had to redo the paperwork. As we were leaving, the sales guy handed us the second key, which was all taped up with electrical tape. Then today I noticed the seatbelts are twisted (silly thing, but it's super annoying they didn't fix it.) There are two stains on the roof on the inside. Overall, we do like the car, but if we could take it back, we would, on the principle of the experience, after we slept and reflected on it, but their policy is only 150 miles/7 days, and that's literally our drive home. Because how are you not going to be willing to work on the price, but want us to buy your extra stuff? How are you going to push financing under false pretenses?
