This is my third time using AugerPros, and although no one is perfect all the time, they did a great job with our church's urgent sewer issue, which had forced us to shut down all our Sunday school kids' and toddler bathrooms on two floors. AugerPros was the first of three plumbers I contacted to come out. We had no idea how much work it was going to be, and expected the worst. Kory Sullivan and his assistant Tommy arrived, scoped the line, and correctly diagnosed the issue: a cast-iron drain that had moved and become detached 5 feet below ground. Their fair pricing and readiness to start work right away gave me the confidence to cancel the other plumbers and pull the trigger, with the hope of a quick resolution. The excavation crew came next, worked very hard in the hot sun, and by mid-week, the new drain was in. I was pleased with the quality of the work and asked them to also replace several water supply valves. They finished a big job before the following church service. I was please that Kory stayed on the job from start to finish, and he did not try to sell any unnecessary work, but advised without pressuring, and kept me updated with status updates. If I could give 100 stars, I would. Unfortunately Yelp stopped at 5. I was Dustin Patino's customer. I had bad smell from shower box and I hired other plumbers to come in and helped me tackle the issue, but the smell wouldn't go away. Worried there is a leak, I started finding plumbers to do a smoke bomb test. Not all plumbers do smoke bomb test, I don't know why. It just needs a small smoke machine and it doesn't take long...maybe 15 min max. Anyway, I was thankful to find Auger Pros that agreed to do the smoke bomb test. Dustin came out, he was friendly, courteous, explained things well to me so I understand what and why he did things. The company's motto was, "the plumber women can trust" and I can't agree more. In the end, he identified the problem that we must fix. Inside their minivan, there are racks of stuff, they carry a lot of gadget, equipment, and more so they don't have to make a run to HD or Lowes to get stuff. Dustin has won my business, I own 2 rental homes and one primary house. I will definitely use them in the future now. read more

My 10-year-old water heater started leaking around noon on Friday. I called my existing plumber at 12:56 PM, as I have a family plan and was placed in the queue. I called back at 2:04 PM only to be informed that I had been placed in the Queue. I went on Yelp and requested a plumber for repair/replacement. I got a reply from Kacie from Augerpros at 2:44 pm. She informed me that they could have a plumber at my location in 15 minutes. I heard from my existing plumber company, 5 minutes after Augerpros, that their plumber would be at my location in 30 to 45 minutes. After this call, Kevin Houser was at my house at 2:54 PM at the time specified by Kacie. Kevin quickly assessed my water heater problem and recommended a replacement. I approved the replacement cost around 3 PM. Kevin and his technician informed me that the water heater replacement would be completed by 6 PM. During the water heater uninstall, I cancelled my existing company plumber dispatch to my residence. Kevin and his technician were polite, professional, and clean as they worked. I called this company at 9:45 am and asked for Back Flow testing. I told them it was for inspection for the city. They said they would be there between 9-1. I expressed our urgency so I was pleased about the same day service. At 2:50 I get a message asking if these were being tested for certification. I told them yes and they said they do not have anyone in the company that is certified. I would have not been so upset had they not waited until 3:00 pm to tell me. Augerpros is very responsive and helpful. I had them out a few weeks ago to replace a faucet I'd been having a lot of issues with. The quality of their work was night and day compared to what was done by another plumber (or non-plumber as it might have been) who originally installed this thing. Now with weather being crazy and pipes frozen, they've been highly responsive to my questions and provided some great information. Their suggestion to go check and clean my main water valve was extremely helpful since I realized upon doing so that the box was full of dirt. It took me like 3 hours to get it cleaned out and access the valve, but boy am I glad I did that now and will be able to run the water off in a pinch if needed rather than being stuck in a frenzy trying to do it while my house is flooding if any of these pipes burst. We had a dripping shower, which needed to be fixed quickly. Auger plumbing was extremely easy to schedule. They respond quickly & are very reliable. Many other companies were not very responsive or unable to come within 3-4 days. One competitor just stopped replying altogether when trying to schedule a time and date, which was frustrating. Auger gave me a range estimate cost, which was higher than other plumbers. If there was one drawback, I would say it is cost. It was a relatively simple and fast fix, so for what it was, $325 was very steep. But I appreciated their honest estimate: they didn't have any hidden costs (for parts or gas/driving cost or inspection) & stayed within their estimate when it came time for payment. Austin and his assistant was friendly & arrived within the time range scheduled & were respectful of our home. They wore booties on their shoes to keep our home clean, which I really appreciated. I have used AugerPros on several occasions in the past and always received great service and a high quality of work from Kory(plumber).  On this occasion It was time to replace the infamous cast iron drain pipes under the slab of my home. With no regrets I contacted AugerPros and again Kory was sent to coordinate all aspects of this daunting task from  permits, inspections, excavation and the removal and replacement of the cast iron pipe.  At the end of a week the pipes were replaced my yard was restored and the inspections were complete. Our outdoor faucet has been leaking for a while so I put out a bid request on yelp. AugerPros was very responsive and communicated with me regularly. They replaced the faucet and the stem for about $500. They left a big hole in my brick (they asked first and I approved). They recommended a masonry contractor that wanted to charge me $600+ to repair the hole (even though I have spare bricks). I am still looking for someone to repair it. I'm satisfied with the quality of the faucet repair but now I'm looking at over $1,000 total for this repair. read more

On the first estimate visit, they offered $325 to replace the bathtub faucet cartridge and $700 labor to replace the whole faucet. I was not quite sure, so just paid $29 estimation fee. Then my tenant reported that they left a big gap between the faucet knob and the bathtub surface. Attached photos. After thinking for a while, I decided to have them come back and fix. Why? first, was tired of finding different services; second, their review score is not bad; third, I feel like just paying $29 estimate fee is kind of taking advantage of them, so if someone got to do it, they should have the chance. As you expected, the cartridge was broken when being replaced, and they charged me $899 to replace the whole faucet, with the faucet though. Then the technician told me that he could not access the hose under the surface, so had to cut a hole on the tub, I was unhappy but didn't have any option, per technician - my tenant couldn't use water until fix! So, paid $899 to replace the whole faucet and they cover the hole with a big panel with different color, it doesn't look good. By that time, I was just unhappy and don't want to write a bad review, after all, they fix the problem, even if not in the way I expected, until I got credit card alert. After 3 days they charged me, my account started showing some unauthorized charges, btw, my rental is in TX but I don't live there. I tried hard not to judge people but have to say this is awful experience. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated, called Jerry back and he explained, also he is willing to fix the tub. I didn't take the offer since it's too expensive and sounds unfair to him.
