We…read morehad a 50 gallon Bradford White hot water heater installed over 11 years ago so it lasted beyond its expected lifetime. We wanted the same make & model since it was a proven winner for us. I started calling some local plumbers to get some pricing. One company I called said they would need to order it. Then I decided to call Apex Plumbing since I knew that's where it was purchased the last time. And they had some in stock! While I had Apex on the line, I asked if they had any recommendations on who might help us get it installed. They gave a couple of names and numbers and I called Drip Doctor as a result. DJ was very professional on the phone and quoted me a good price and said he was available the following morning. He had excellent communication and customer service skills. He arrived on time, switched out the hot water heaters, fixed the leak and left the work site clean. He also took the time to show my hubby how and when to drain it once a year. This will help get an optimal lifespan out of it. DJ gave us the paperwork that came with it and suggested we enter our details on their website for the warranty. Stay far away from this company!!!…read more Leak Whisperers charged my family $3,200 to repair a single slab leak, and the job was completely mishandled. They cut numerous holes in our walls and still failed to restore proper plumbing. Instead, they bypassed and canceled two manifolds, which resulted in no hot water to our kitchen and laundry room (documented). When they returned to "fix" the problem, they made things worse by creating dead‑end lines, causing hot‑water circulation issues throughout the house and leaving multiple areas with only lukewarm water. They then attempted to charge us an additional $800 for this. After multiple follow‑ups and excuses (all documented), the company ultimately stopped responding altogether. We were forced to hire a licensed plumber to correct their work by running new lines to our kitchen and laundry room. We know we were ripped off, and I'm sharing this so others don't make the same mistake. Do not consider using this company.
